"I stayed at this super cheap Old Quarter hostel and loved its chill outdoor lounge area with a pool and the staff who organize day trips to main sights like Ha Long Bay and Sapa. You get lots of free perks here — free breakfast, free beer during happy hour, free pub crawls, and free walking tours — and while the rooms and bathrooms are basic and a bit cramped, the beds have curtains, lights, outlets, and lockers.
