Hanoon in Totem Lake completely exceeded our expectations! We ordered the shawarma fries and the spicy vegetable wrap — both dishes were absolutely incredible. The shawarma fries were perfectly crispy, topped with flavorful, tender meat and delicious sauces that tied everything together. The spicy vegetable wrap was fresh, vibrant, and had just the right kick of spice without being overwhelming. We also ordered a tea pot, which was beautifully served and made the whole experience feel even more special. The quality of the food, presentation, and flavors were all top-notch. The location is fantastic — right in Totem Lake with a nice, modern vibe — and the service was outstanding. Everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hanoon has definitely become one of our new favorite spots. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food, great ambiance, and excellent service!

Hanoon restaurant offers a modern take on Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu blends Lebanese, Persian, and Syrian influences, with dish names that lean Lebanese, but flavors and preparations that reflect a broader regional approach. While this fusion may not always align with traditional expectations, it offers a creative interpretation of the region's diverse culinary heritage. The lunch menu feels a bit light on protein-focused options. Those looking for heartier dishes may find the offerings somewhat limited during the midday service. There are a few standout items worth noting! The mint lemonade is vibrant and refreshing, and the falafel is crisp, well-seasoned, and satisfying. These highlights suggest thoughtful attention to detail and flavor. One of Hanoon’s strongest qualities is its service. The staff are warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining experience that enhances the overall visit. In summary, Hanoon presents a fresh, stylish approach to Middle Eastern cuisine, ideal for those open to regional fusion and creative interpretations. With great service and a few memorable bites, it’s a spot that may appeal most to diners looking to explore beyond the traditional.

I keep wanting to give this place a chance to up its game and I’m usually left perplexed, some dishes are so yummy I cannot get enough and then they miss the mark on other but what I can only think of as trying too hard. This is absolutely the hill I’m going to die on, your bread needs to be a larger serving than what you have, if not entirely unlimited as is custom in almost every Lebanese/Shami restaurant. We ordered the hummus, great flavor with 3 little pieces of bread (we went ahead and order more bread and were given 3 more little pieces of bread). This is the same case when we ordered the Mezza last time, hence the ordering of the second “basket” of bread. We also ordered the Halloumi Salad, which was utter perfection, a little bit of apple and honey to accompany beautifully fried halloumi pieces. I love a good Batatah Harra but I do wish it was in the traditional form of crispy potato pieces and not whole mini potatoes as the potato skin doesn’t hold as much of the flavor, the garlic sauce with is absolutely divine. Lets move on to the mains we ordered 2 Shish Tawook and 1 Lamb Kebab and we really should have done it the other way round. The kebab was so delicious, the flavors were on point and the cook was perfect, would definitely order again. The Shish Tawook missed on several levels it was very bland and I didn’t like the cuts they used, the dish is usually very flavorful but this one just didn’t work even with the garlic spread although the accompanying salad was very yummy. We also order a 2 side of their rice (we requested no dried fruit) as the mains came with no rice, come on guys really, the rice itself was nicely perfumed and herbaceous. The service was ok if a little awkward but nothing I’d ding them points for and the interior is always beautiful. I would also suggest that they keep the shawarma on the dinner menu, I for one cannot make it there for lunch and it would be great if it were available all day.

Had an amazing dinner at Hanoon—their $35 three-course dinner is such a great deal and every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. For the first course, we tried the baba ganoush and the basal labneh: • The baba ganoush was perfectly smoky and creamy, topped with a delicious herb oil that brought everything together. • The basal labneh was a standout—creamy strained yogurt with caramelized onions and spices. It paired wonderfully with the warm, fresh pita bread. For mains, we had the sujuk meatballs and the shish taouk: • The meatballs were richly spiced and came with braised chickpeas and greens, balanced with a dollop of tangy labneh. • The chicken was juicy and well-marinated, served with a bright and crunchy citrusy fennel salad—super refreshing. We also loved the saffron rice—fluffy, fragrant, with little pops of sweetness from dried fruit and a hint of herbs. Dessert was a small piece of baklava, but it was the perfect bite—crisp, nutty, and just sweet enough. Service was warm and attentive, and the space had a calm, modern vibe. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Middle Eastern flavors or wants to try something new!

Google
Nice place and nice atmosphere. Both the food and service were good. The appetizer place was ok. I had a better humus before. The cauliflower dish was delicious The Halloumi cheese was good but it was cold. My lamb kabob dinner was so delicious but it was only one skewer with no side dishes at all. They could have added a side of rice because the meal was not enough for dinner and this is the reason I give the place four stars. It's a nice place overall and I will be back.

Google
Pleasantly surprised but how healthy the food tasted. Light but flavorful. Smaller portions so be warned to order enough. The jeweled rice is worth trying, altho a small cup of rice but delicious and needed with the protein dishes. Decorations are clean and tasteful

Google
This place stacks right at the top of my restaurant recommendation list. My experience here was amazing, be it the kind and attentive staff, the soothing ambience or the scrumptious food, it just kept getting better. By the end of my meal I was convinced that this has to be one of the best mediterranean restaurants in the Kirkland area. The lamb pistachio kefta kebab and the shish taouk chicken kebab are my absolute favorite. I would also recommend trying the Moushakal as it’s a nice smattering of all the tasty spreads the restaurant has to offer. The desert options are limited but you can never go wrong with a baklava here. All in all 5/5 ✨

Google
Pricey for a place that doesn’t even offer a fresh/warm bread. The bread was cold and when we asked about it, she warmed it up and gave us rather then offering us fresh one. Also, quantity is extremely small for the price.

Yelp
GREAATTT yummy. Fries were immaculate. Annie is a great employee, she was very enthusiastic. 5 stars

Yelp
My friend and I visited this spot on a Saturday at 1PM and had no trouble finding a seat. The space is clean, bright, and filled with natural lighting -- a perfect setting for a relaxed weekend lunch! We started off with the hummus, served with three pieces of warm, Arabic bread -- simple yet satisfying. For mains, we ordered the chicken shawarma, with a side of fries, and paired it with the green fattoush salad. The combination of everything was light, flavorful, and well-portioned, with each dish complementing the others effortlessly. Parking was easy to find nearby, adding to the overall convenience. It's a great spot for a casual meal, whether you're grabbing a quick bite or lingering over lunch. My friend also pointed out that they offer different lunch and dinner menus, so there's even more to explore. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of their dishes -- worth revisiting!

Yelp
Really food service & food.. Hummus was preety food Not much food options.. Whatever we tried was tasty There lunch & dinner is different.. Wanted to have there fries & shawarma but that just available in lunch..

Yelp
Hanoon posted a menu of sides you could order in advance of Thanksgiving, then pick up the day before and heat at home. It was excellent! It worked well for folks familiar with Levantine food and also for folks new to it. Most Thanksgivings, we plan to do all of the cooking ourselves, but this last year, we needed some help, and we were certainly thankful for this option. The grilled brassica and chickpea bi-zeit was the stand-out dish for me: smoky, aromatic, and well-balanced. The za'atar roasted carrots were my wife's favorite. And the batata harra is always good, and a little different from their normal preparation this time. Having fallen in love with Mamnoon in Capital Hill many, many years ago, we feel really lucky to have Hanoon so close.

Rekha M.

Yelp
Love Hanoon for the location, table availability, and health-conscious options. The interior is large and artistic and my favorite option for a small group is the circular mosaic tables. Depending on the day the service can be hit or miss, one time I came with my dad, brother and waited quite a while for food but more recently I came with a small group of friends and felt they were prompt and attentive. Almost always I order something from the mezze appetizer (Muhammara is my fav I'd highly recommend getting extra pita because the 3 pieces won't feel like it's enough for 2 or more people. Also, I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was a wrap with fries, not chicken on a bed of yellow rice so be prepared for that. Also, both the alcoholic options for mules (seasonal cran-cardamom and clementine) came in glasses instead of copper cups.

Jodi P.

Yelp
Great spot in Kirkland ! Lovely decor and vibe in the restaurant, super friendly staff, very attentive. I didn't realize until I asked the staff, but this restaurant is a sister to Mamnoon in seattle ( big favorite of mine) The food is just as good however they do not have the beet dish shamandar , the menus are a bit different. Just to keep in mind.

Yelp
Tried out this Lebanese restaurant first time for a quick bite. The atmosphere was bright , roomy with windows. There are round tables for 4 and 6 people which are great for social gathers. The service was great. Loved the server Aischa who gave us her recommendations. We ordered Muhammara and Lamb Kefta Kebab. The Muhammara had amazing spice and the nutty texture. It came with 'house arabic bread'. It only came with 3 little pieces but we requested for more. Lamb kebab was excellent with great flavor, charcoaled texture, and a side that is a great balance of grilled marinated red peppers. Will definitely be back for to try the lunch menu.

Yelp
Such a nice spot to grab dinner! Went on a weekday and was easy to get seating. Ordered two dishes per person for a nice variety of options and some leftovers for home. Really enjoyed the spices and flavorfulness of every dish - everything was unique and tasty. We had the crispy halloumi, sweet batata harra, fatoosh salad, and the lamb skewer. It is a little pricey but a nice experience with friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

Mehak J.

Yelp
We were a group of four (2 vegetarians and 2 meat eaters) and tried a bunch of things. What we got to share: 1. Moushakal (assorted dips) - loved all of them. Muhammara was an absolute favorite along with Baba Ghanoush. 2. Batata Harra - white sweet potato and very crispy on the outside. Loved it. 3. Falafel - Not that great, very doughy inside 4. Crispy Halloumi - average We got some cocktails and drinks. My favorite was their cardamom mule. My husband got the one with tequila and spices - which was good too. Friends got a non alcoholic sparkling wine and beer. For the main course we got stuff to share, the butternut squash and the shish touk. Ordered their aromatic rice with it. We also ordered two more individual dips. The pitas with the dips felt average, but freshly made in-house. They allow you to get your own cake. If you ask them to serve, a $20 fees is charged. Since we were just the 4 of us, we didn't need that. The only thing which was a bit off was that the servers seemed to be in a hurry to wrap up and would checkin too often and made us feel rushed. The place wasn't even packed or full around the time we dined, so we didn't quite understand that. Overall the experience was good. The decor is warm.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant. Nice design and I like the space between tables. Great service too. Nice open Kitchen. Very clean too. The appetizer plate with humus and three other items was ok. I personally had a much better hummus before. The Halloumi cheese was ok. It was cold and this cheese is much better when it's hot and soft. The cauliflower dish was delicious I ordered the lamb kabobs which was delicious but unfortunately it did not come with anything else ?? A side of rice would have been great. Because of that I give the place four stars.

Bessie C.

Yelp
A little bit challenging to find as it's in a shopping complex. Located across from Lululemon. Love the interior vibrant decor. All the kebabs are delicious (steak and mushroom) and the halloumi was one of my faves. Server was super friendly and attentive but accidentally spilled a whole glass of cocktail on me... I shall never wear white again lol.

Tani S.

Yelp
Six of us were able to get a reservation same day and were excited to try this spot, We loved the ambience and the food was good--it was the best hummus I've ever had, the mushroom kebabs were fantastic, as were the other main plates we tried (the lamb ribs, chicken kebabs, and lamb kebabs) were amazing. The issue unfortunately was portion size... the kebab plates don't come with a side except for a salad... we ordered rice with which added $8 per plate but I know what some have mentioned and maybe it's having teenagers but was surprised how small the portions were and how much we had to order as a result. The food was wonderful just for the more casual atmosphere I wasn't expecting to spend as much as we did!

Ammara T.

Yelp
The absolute worst and dry Chicken Shawarma I've had in my life, and I've tried my share of Shawarmas from all over the world. Let's start with the outer layering which is a non-traditional paper thin bread with flavorless chicken lacking major seasoning and zero sauce. I asked for some garlic sauce just to be able to eat it and the waiter agreed that shawarma is more on the dry side, but to my surprise I was charged an additional $2 for the garlic toum sauce. It's the little things, but when the food is already bad and they up charge you on every little thing it's just plain rude. There was even an up charge to get salad instead of the bread for the wrap. The fries were the only thing here that were actually good and fresh. I was really surprised since the place had a really nice vibe and it seemed like they were making bread fresh but the taste said otherwise. It tasted like old whole wheat bread from the freezer. The service was sub par with one waiter given the entire restaurant to manage so I don't blame her for being slow. Overall, I would not come back after this experience. If you're looking for a good Lebanese spot I would recommend checking out Tanoor which actually has flavor and fresh bread.

Ro C.

Yelp
Fantastic taste, great service. This is a banger I came in for lunch had moushaka, and sujuk man'oushe yum!

Varsha J.

Yelp
Hanoon is pretty good. Located in totem lake, food and ambience is pretty good. I went for lunch and their menu had good options for vegetarians. I ordered fried cauliflower, hummus, falafel. Service is also good. It wasn't crowded at all during lunch hours Quantity is good and quality of food is also good. Pricing is similar to what you have at other places in Seattle.

Jason R.

Yelp
Can't say enough about this place guaranteed the best Lebanese food I've ever had. The ingredients are so fresh and the flavors are bold. If you have a minute go inside and see Ben the bartender, he's extremely knowledgeable about the menu and an artist with the cocktails. Try the lamb!!! You won't be disappointed

Rebecca B.

Yelp
I went to Hanoon with a group and we ate family style so we could try more dishes! What I liked about Hanoon is the modern decor with a Mediterranean twist! The tables were each unique! The waitstaff was accommodating me so friendly! Ayesha (guessed on the spelling) was able to accommodate a large group with ease! So made great recommendations and was such a professional! The food! We came during brunch on the weekend and the Levantine and breakfast wraps were phenomenal. The chicken shawarma had a citrus lite flavor. I was not the biggest fan but we got some harra sauce on the side which added a little spice which I liked! I think this is a great place to go with a group! They also made splinting the check up so easy! This alone would make me want to go back!

Kevin V.

Yelp
All I can say is WOW... NOT IN A GOOD WAY. Came here today for lunch for my girlfriend's birthday and had high hopes until it crashed and burned fast! Sat down and ordered shawarma wrap and a falafel wrap. Basic lunch items and the restaurant at less than half capacity. Fast forward 35 minutes and we are still waiting for the food... THEN when the food finally came everything was cold as ice and she could care less. Especially the fries and when I mentioned it to the waitress she got an AGGRESSIVE ATTITUDE and became rude and unpleasant. She did not smile once and clearly doesn't like her job or working weekends who knows but the customer should NEVER feel that. The Owner should be embarrassed he didn't come once to check on the situation and rectify anything until I physically GOT UP OUT OF MY SEAT and told him the fries were cold and had to flag him down to get my check since the waitress was blatantly ignoring us. He was definitely not the owner you'd expect from a nice restaurant. He acted as if it were a normal thing to wait that long for cold expensive food as if we were in a McDonald's drive thru. He didn't apologize once for the waitress or the food and this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. As an owner of a business you should take responsibility and rectify the situation. Not run away and pretend you are a busboy. will NEVER EVER BE RETURNING. Take your business to a place that cares about customer service. This place is a joke but has potential to be amazing with the right staff and MANAGEMENT.

Ana M.

Yelp
We saw this restaurant while visiting another nearby. So this time we came only to visit them. We make a reservation but I guess you don't need it need it unless you are a big party. We sat on one of these two beautiful white round tables. I tend to look to lamps and these were clean and with an interesting design. Food arrived quickly after ordering except for the hummus. We still wanted it so we waited. We had non alcoholic drinks. I guess a simple lemonade would have been better. Good was very tasty. We had the lamb and French toast. Good seasoning on the lamb and very good pairing on the toppings for the toast. Ambience is chill and kind of hipster? Good location because covered parking is just infront.

Mounika N.

Yelp
Loved the ambience, food and service. We ordered basal labneh, chicken and lamb kebab. Lamb kebab was our favorite. Downside is that it is expensive for the quantity of the dishes

Hanna S.

Yelp
Great food, great music great cocktails Thanks to James for making the fabulous apricots sumac_ ~iri. I told him I didn't want it to be too acidic, so he was late on the lime and it was perfectly balanced. And happy hour this is $12 instead of 14. And that falafel dish five dollars on happy hour is a great deal. I've had falafel in many places in the world, and this one is fantastic. OK I wish the garlic yogurt was vegan. I didn't even ask because I am assuming it's probably not. . Take a look at my photo. They serve it with wonderful, purple cabbage. Everything was perfect. I came here at about 445 on Monday and it was very quiet. Sometimes that actually can work against you because you may have staff moving slowly and the beginners in the kitchen. However. It was perfect. They make a chocolate chip cookie with tahini and sea salt. That might sound strange but if you're a fan of chocolate chip cookies, it is delightful. I will definitely be returning.

Kendyl T.

Yelp
This place was soooo good!! Ben was our server and he was welcoming and very attentive. The inside looked edgy with geometric shapes on the tables and artistic metal serving platters. We ordered an Empress Gin martini which was good. From the time we ordered to when we got our food, it was pretty quick. The menu is small, but has a perfect balance of all options of Lebanese food. Would definitely go back when in the area.

Angelica K.

Yelp
I'll start by saying I loved that the vegan options are clearly marked as well as allergen. The food was tasty but was definitely NOT worth the price. The idea is that the plates are all to be "family style" but the portions are so small. It's more so for two people to share. Small portions and the prices are so high. In my opinion not worth it as there's so many other places that offer similar dining experiences for a better price. I was charged $2 for hot sauce that came in a tiny portion which probably cost .50 cents. My husband for a lamb kebab that was just a piece of meat and small salad for $30. Which I will also say have my husband food poisoning within hours of eating. I don't eat meat so I didn't get sick. Service was slow and not very warm or friendly. The restaurant has great aesthetics but I don't think we'll be going back. Especially with my partner getting extremely ill. Such a bummer as I've always wanted to try this place.

Aayan H.

Yelp
Delicious food and amazing service! Portions are large. We ordered 2 rolls for 2 ppl. I had enough left overs for another meal. The non alcoholic drinks are yumm too. Will come back again

Reetu P.

Yelp
Service is exceptional!!!!!! I was SO amazed by the amazing service here. From the minute we walked in till we left. Our server was awesome. She had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable on allergies and was able to let us know food option that can be prepared without nuts. I wish I got her name again so I could give her a shout out!! Staff here are so friendly. We ate and sat talking for like two hours and not once did they ask us to leave or looked annoyed for not being able to clear our tables. Instead they kept refilling our waters etc. They ALL had smiles on their face which is really hard to find these days. Food was SO good as well. So many options to choose from. We had the brunch menu and I tried the espresso martini which did not disappoint, wish the glass was bigger, lol. They have unlimited mimosas which could be dangerous. Turkish coffee infused with cardamom was yummy. Falafel wrap was so flavored and those wrap are deceiving. They look tiny but are very filling. We had lamb as well on our table and I was told it was YUM. Hummus was so fresh and so good. Perfect amount of flavors. Let's talk about the fries..... seasoned with their secret seasoning hmm I could taste hints of lemon and paprika for sure but not sure what the other flavors were. I would just order a side of fries it was that good. Restaurant itself has a great vibe. Interior deco is lit, open kitchen concept so you can see what's going on, excellent ventilation so you don't smell of food. Parking is easy, you can park in the garage behind the restaurant or street parking. This place is located next to Sephora if you aren't familiar with Totem Lake. Definitely going back here.

Maria B.

Yelp
The food is superb! Service is very attentive and wonderful! We ordered chicken, lamb, baba ganouche and fries for the kid. Everything was great! I really hope this place gets packed!

Sara F.

Yelp
Had my birthday dinner here & being a ME person I'm super picky about any kind of 'Mediterranean' food & was so glad we tried it. Really delicious food, perfect portions & service was amazing! Very nice vibe too will definitely be back

Leila G.

Yelp
My niece suggested we try this restaurant as a person she knows works there. The service was marvelous. We asked the server to tell us her favorites and make suggestions. The sweet potato/apple appetizer was amazing. We had the halibut and rice. There was more than enough to share. The restaurant specializes in family style dining. I will definitely come back again to try something else!

Janet Y.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped in for a quick bite, and I just loved the ambience, service and food. Everything was overall delicious, and we really appreciated the laid back vibe. Our server was attentive and sweet, and I can't wait to be back to try more things!

Epi L.

Yelp
The hummus here is amazing. Smooth with a good flavor of tahini. They serve it with whole chickpeas and a very nice olive oil with little pitas for dipping. They also have a wooden spoon for each dip. Their lunch price fixe is delightful. Had a falafel and a chicken gyro. The cookie at the end should be paired with an espresso martini for an amazing finish. Do bring a coat because it is always a little cool in the restaurant.

Eva M.

Yelp
No change to previous review. All content there is still relevant, except they update their menu regularly so not all dishes stay available. They still have the dinner/upscale dining, the casual wraps take-out window, and bar seating happy hour menu. The restaurant has nice deco. They aim for upscale, and their prices reflect it. In retrospect, it is expensive for what the food is. Our server today was constantly hurrying us, offering to take our plates away at all times. No one is waiting for a table, and it wasn't near closing time. It was rather annoying. Dropping 0.5 stars, bringing a 2.7 average food rating to 2.2, rounding down to 2 Stars for this review. Newly tried dishes, all from dinner menu: Moushakal (mezze mix) $28 + extra Arabic bread, $4 - 2 Stars This mezze platter comes with a little dollop of Basal Labneh (yogurt), Baba Ganoush (eggplant), Hummus, and Muhammara (red pepper). I honestly have had better versions of each one, most recently in San Francisco. What I object to the most is the price. That is very expensive for the amount of food we got. Halloumi, $7 (I think) - 3 Stars This dish contains 5 pieces of grilled salty cheese. One of my table mates loved it. Another said it could be crispier. 2 others were neutral. Batata Harra, $16 - 3.5 Stars Menu: crispy fingerling potatoes, green garlic bi zeit, pickled fresno, labneh toum This is one of the better dishes. Well-seasoned, crispy fried. A spendy French fries, sort of. Aleppo Spiced Eggplant, $23 - 2.5 Stars Menu: roasted eggplant, naz khatoon, red shatta, aleppo, herbs It doesn't seem possible for a dish that visually looks very good to taste ok+. Somehow, there's too much going on. The roasted eggplant didn't retain "body", so it's much more on the squishy side than the roasted firm side. And each strip is sitting on a lot of sauce, such that if it was firmer, it isn't anymore. The idea is good; the execution is not. Plus, it's also expensive. There are about 1.5 to 2 (Chinese?) eggplants on this plate. Shish Taouk, $28 - 2.5 Stars Menu: yogurt-marinated chicken kebab, sugar snap peas, morel mushrooms, black lime toum, fresh herb mix The chicken is well seasoned and flavorful. I might order this again, but I suspect I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
We had Alexandra for our server and she was amazing!! Her recommendations for cocktails, food and dessert did not disappoint. Food came out quickly but we were hungry ;-) and appreciated it. The space is clean, great sidewalk view to people watch and the music was just enough to round out a pleasant dining experience

Smrithi S.

Yelp
We have been wanting to try this place since they opened and finally got to last week for dinner. It was great to sit by the open doors on a good summer day. We got Muhammara, Cucumber Melon Shirazi, and Shish taouk. We loved all our items. The Muhammara was amazing, the Cucumber Melon Shirazi was delicious and fresh. Shish taouk was great, the chicken tasted amazing, the salad that comes with it was so good too.

Kim T.

Yelp
Honestly really pleased with my meal here. My friend and I got the 4 course for $60 per person and was so worth it. Came with 2 different hummuses, a mushroom dish, cauliflower, meat balls, seasoned chicken, and dessert! All of the dishes were so flavorful and tasty. Very modern beautiful ambiance inside. Love all of the design touches on the restaurant and the high ceilings really create for a beautiful setting. Service was super friendly and helpful. Delicious!! Perfect for date night or outting with friends!

Ali S.

Yelp
If you're open and serving happy hour food, why arr the main menu food items not available? I was turned away when I went in to have dinner simply because I went in at 4pm and they were open! Will not be going back.

Walter B.

Yelp
We had lunch at Hanoon yesterday. My chicken shawarma was bland, aside from the chicken the wrap was stuffed with fries and unseasoned tomatoes and lettuce. My wife's lahm bi ajine was way too sweet, she could not finish it The side salad was equally bland. Would not recommend it.

Jim F.

Yelp
We had a leisurely late lunch at Hanoon on a cold, clear Saturday. We each had a cocktail off their specials list and they were great, though light on the pour. We ordered the combo mise platter and the flafel. Mise was great, falafel just OK. Service was attentive. Music selection was eclectic and just on the edge of too loud.

Sean Y.

Yelp
I'm really sad to write this review. I've come to this restaurant to eat several times and have really loved the interior and the service. The food is also very fresh and authentic. We love it. We also order delivery from here a lot. I mean a lot. Like any time we want take out we usually get Hanoon, and usually have the same order. One time we ordered a dinner for 4 which came with 2x portion of 2 entrees among other things. So 4 total boxes of food. They forgot to pack the sides, but we didn't realize until the end so we just let it go. We ordered this meal again recently, but this time it only came with 2 boxes of food (so 2 single portion entrees instead of 4). Thinking there was a mistake, we called the restaurant to check. The person who answered the phone insisted this was the correct amount of food and was not apologetic at all, and didn't even try to clear up the confusion. She became rude and dismissive, even though we knew she was wrong because we had ordered it before. We had also gotten single portions of each entree before and this was definitely only single portions. So we definitely only got half of the food. There is no way that this was meant to be a dinner for 4 as it would maybe feed 2. The person on the phone eventually said they recently had to change portions or something. But then why charge the same amount? And even if the amounts did change, did they think customers would not notice and not call in? Her tone implied we were in the wrong for even questioning this mistake and was extremely rude from the get go. I am not sure if this is the person who usually serves us, who is normally very sweet, but if so I'm just really surprised. I think this is the most disappointing of all - treating your repeat customers poorly and being rude to them. Honestly she may have just said it to shut me up and end the conversation. I'm not sure. Upon taking another look, we also realized the sauces and baklava were missing from the order, which is definitely in the description and we definitely got it last time. So all in all not only were we lied to, but we didn't even get the rest of the food that was in the description either. Again I am so sad and disappointed to write this. We really loved this restaurant, but seeing the way they treat loyal customers is just really off putting and wrong. Again, I'm very sad to write this because we love the food and have had great service other times. But this was just straight up lying and rudeness which is unacceptable.

Yelp
Outstanding experience. Took coworkers here with some severe diet restrictions (and others either somewhat sheltered palates). They loved it!

Yelp
Alright!!! Mamnoon was my favorite, so was the M bar so naturally I knew I'd like this place. But'n unfortunately, I've been here many times for large group dinners. Shared food. And never quite enjoy my food. Till last week. I came by myself and also for smaller one on one meetings. And I love it!! I've always like their chicken shawarma but love the appetizers more. Now I found my goto. Falafel; labneh, extra Arabic bread! Fried Halloumi! Cauliflower! Everything is just right. Though Halloumi last 2 times were both extra salty and I couldn't eat it. I still love the ambiance and service enough to return. Jordan is amazing! But! My favorite part though: their coffee. Turkish coffee, blood orange latte, baklava latte! Just all kinds of amazing. I absolutely love it. Went back twice in one week. Can't wait to go back again and soon!!

Yelp
This place is so overpriced, go elsewhere and save your money. They claim it's better to share but the portion sizes and pricing make no sense. It's like they want to be tapas but couldn't figure it out how to size or price. Our server also forgot a main dish, blamed it on the kitchen and then clearly added it to the bill late and my partner only got his food after we checked on it 25min later and after everyone ate. No apologies or anything. Would not recommend.

Yelp
I've dined here more than a handful of times and it's been delicious each time. The service members have been accommodating and kind. The restaurant can feel laid back during the lunch hour then a bit more of a dinner party vibe at night. We've had lunch, dinner, and brunch here and dinner is probably my favorite because of the larger menu offered. All four dips are good, but something about the caramelized onions in the labneh dip is out of this world good. We had the chicken wrap and lamb wrap today for lunch and it was amazing. The lamb didn't have much meat in it, but the chicken wrap was stuffed to the brim. Love that the wraps come with salad and frites as well. Great fry with their own spin on ketchup. I'm craving it right now! Can't wait to be back for another great time here.

Yelp
What a cute place in totem lake! Also the food smells amazing when you walk in. I loved trying all the different dips/spreads of hummus and baba ganoush. Personal fav brunch dish is the shakshuka! So much flavor and the poached eggs are cooked perfectly. Also, the best part yet is that they have bottomless mimosas for brunch! Definitely need to bring my girl friends or work people here for brunch! Service was fine! You just simply order at the front and then go pick a seat and they bring your food to ya. I recommend sitting outside whenever the sun is out!

Yelp
When my friend suggested we go to Hanoon for lunch and baklava oat milk latté, my reaction was "Say whhhaaaaaat?". I am so happy I went. Service and ambience A+. We ordered the mezze platter, Arabic bread, and the batata Harra. Good food but prices are shockingly high for the quantity. $28 for the mezze and small portions. Could taste the freshness in the food. Batata harra was crispy and the spicy red pepper sauce on the side was delicious. Loved the crispy kohlrabi; the apples made the dish a bit too sweet to my liking. The main item here was already sweet potatoes. The Arabic bread/pita was made of whole wheat and were pillowy soft. I think I could just eat half a dozen of those. Star of the meal was the baklava oatmilk latte. We didn't see it on the menu but my friend is a regular there so she was able to order it. It was absolutely divine! Will go back for the latte!

Yelp
Reserved direct and put in an allergy note and mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. Neither were acknowledged after arriving or sitting down. Service was certainly slow and they were short staffed. The food was decent. Loved the baba ganoushe but the shish tawok was a touch burnt and had minimal flavor without the garlic sauce. The rice was also flavorless minus a hint of butter. Overall the meal was ok but for the price there are better places to go.

Yelp
Hidden inside the The Village at Totem Lake is an unassuming middle eastern restaurant called Hanoon. I immediately felt Mamnoon vibes upon entering this establishment. This can be explained with 2 words, Nadi Mama. They are owned by the Mama Group and are sister companies with Mamnoon, Mamnoon Street, mBar, and Anar. How did I know? Their website has all the information including their menus. Their dining room is spacious. High ceilings, tall windows, large tables for big groups, and decent sized bar area. I recommend sitting against the wall for maximum people watching experience and to simply have a full view of the beautiful space. Their menu has some excellent options. Their ordering process is a combination of counter and table service. The order counter is located right by the entrance and also had a menu board for convenience. We ordered the baba ganoush, chicory fattoush, harra fries, jeweled rice, and chicken shawarma. The baba ganoush was flavorful and was served a mini pitas. The chicory fattoush was light and tangy. The crispy pita provided a nice variance to the textures. This salad dish can definitely be an nice snack by itself. The harra fries came with a side of za'atar mayo, house-made harra ketchup, and extra serving of spice. I recommend a healthy sprinkling of the spice. The jeweled rice, which was listed as a special, was the perfect side to the shawarma. It's a saffron flavored basmati with fried shallots, pistachios, and barberries. The chicken shawarma was tasty and filling. I especially loved the roasted garlic sauce. Pricing is decent and serving portions were reasonable. Service was phenomenal. Despite the set up of counter order, there were consistent check-ins on how we are doing. I would not hesitate bringing clients to this restaurant for a business lunches.

Yelp
A fancy middle-eastern restaurant with great ambience, gourmet food and great service. I really wish the menu had the middle eastern classics and the quantity was decent. We went in here super hungry and surprised by the quantity of food overall! The apps and the entrees were small in quantity for the price point. The menu keeps changing,so tough to find pictures of the entrees to get an idea of what the dish would look like!! The side of jeweled rice was super hard and dry and so is the mushroom kebab entree!! Good news is that the menu has tons of vegetarian and healthy options and the bread is super super soft and yumm!!

Yelp
Upscale casual spot in Kirkland. Was seated right away and had booked the reservation online same day. Smaller portions, but I felt that the food was flavorful and yummy. Great for non-meat eaters. The drinks were also great! Also got the tequila cucumber cocktail and it was strong. Main thing I noticed was the slower service. There seemed like a lot of waitstaff running around; it took two times asking for us to receive a dessert menu for example. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable!
