The Most Anticipated Houston Restaurant Openings, Winter 2025 | Eater Houston

"Chef-owner Chris Kinjo and managing partner Dung “Lang” Nguyen will open a second Autry Park restaurant across from MF Lobster and Seafood that serves Vietnamese-style tapas with a French influence. The site will seat 58 in the dining room and 16 in the wine bar, plus a small outdoor patio for al fresco dining; it will also operate as a retail outlet where diners can purchase bottles featured on a sharply curated wine list. The name references the Western term for the French-ruled Indochina area (now central Vietnam)." - Brittany Britto Garley

MF Sushi Chef Chris Kinjo is Opening Two New Restaurants in Houston - Eater Houston

"Steps from the pod, Annam will open on the ground-level of the Hanover Autry Park residential tower in a slightly larger space with 56-seats, a 16-seat bar, and covered patio. The name pays homage to the precolonial era when Vietnamese was referred to as 'Annam.' Here, Kinjo and managing partner Dung 'Lang' Nguyen bring Vietnamese-style tapas with French flair using globally-sourced ingredients." - Megha McSwain

The Autry building is absolutely beautiful, with a modern design and welcoming atmosphere. I had the pleasure of touring with Danielle, the property manager, who was extremely knowledgeable about the building and its amenities. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and highlighted thoughtful details about the community that I might have otherwise missed. The tour itself was seamless and informative, and Danielle’s professionalism and warmth really stood out—she made me feel both comfortable and welcomed. Overall, it was a great experience that left me with a very positive impression of the building and management team.

I had the chance to check out Hanover Autry Park recently and enjoyed the whole experience. The staff were friendly without being pushy, and the amenities felt genuinely usable, not just for show.

First I was told by Danielle (leasing manager) there was an “error” on *their* income verification system. I resubmitted my information 3X. *Then I was told to submit bank statements meeting income requirement. I provided that. *Then I was told I had to share an account that shows consistent monthly deposits or an offer letter. I submitted the offer letter as recent as 3 months prior which is what they ask for. *Then I was told to submit pay stubs in addition to all that information. **Most recently I was asked to provide a copy of my license which I already provided on my initial application that was submitted successfully and the application would not even let me bypass submission of my license. I keep being informed they are having “errors” on *their* end making them “unable” to view information when I’m submitting sensitive personal information through their portal but they continue to require me to submit it multiple times. I have over verified my income at this point. I have requested to speak to someone who oversees Danielle, but I have been told they don’t have a contact or will get back to me. I have already called Monica Feiss twice and have not received any call backs or follow up from her either, which is appalling considering she’s district manager for Hanover. This is extremely disappointing for a Hanover property. What is the point of offering different options to verify income when submitted documents far exceed the requirement if they do not allow you to lease here?? Terrible experience from a Hanover property IMO.

Awful experience living here. I moved in September 2024, only to find the apartment infested with fire ants coming from the walls and baseboards. For an entire month, I struggled with the infestation, even ending up in the ER due to an allergic reaction. Management’s only solution was calling pest control, which didn’t fix the problem. They refused to temporarily relocate me, forcing me to pay for a hotel for a month to avoid another reaction. I was never compensated or even offered a credit for the time I couldn’t live in the apartment. The issue was only resolved after they sealed the baseboards throughout the unit. While the management team was polite, they lacked empathy for the stress I endured. That being said, the amenities were nice, and the location was great, but my overall experience was ruined by the ant infestation and the lack of proper support from management

Beautiful apartments! The pool is fantastic! Go see Sara Luna for information about all the awesome property amenities! The two bedroom has an actual laundry room that was exceptionally large and well thought out! I love the view of downtown and the again , the pool…spectacular!!!

Living here went from good to worse. There has been several issues that have really made living in these apartments extremely uncomfortable for me. I will just list three major ones that anyone who is thinking about living here should consider: 1. If you live on the east side of the building(facing downtown) and are on lower floors (up to 7 or 8 level), the noise from the commercial AC units is so loud that, forget about sitting in the balcony, you cant even leave the door open because you hear the loud noise everywhere inside the apartment. 2. The carpets and hallways on some floors absolutely stink. My son covers his nose every time he is walking to the apartment. 3. If your apartment is adjacent to the trash chute, you are going to hear loud noises of the trash going down. This happens any hour of day or night.

Very nice and well-kept property with quiet and respectful neighbors. Leasing office is attentive to concerns brought up and does well to address them, Juleigh/Regina were especially helpful. Salah the concierge was always very respectful and welcoming to guests.

Google
Sarah Luna did excellent presenting The Hanover. Some key points I already knew, and the ones that were not so obvious made this building a stellar find. The amenities, views and ambience made this more than just a place to lease, it is an experience. I would definitely recommend taking the time to come walk this building if you’re in the market for something similar.

Yelp
The Chef's Table was held in Autry Park. I have to say I got my ticket early, but honestly, after attending, I would have paid the asking price. It was really a nice event with over 60 food and wine vendors offering a wide variety of everything. Nothing was left off the list, like the spiked tea. That was new for me, and it came in all kinds of flavors. Or the Kabouche Curry, a steamed mussel with Japanese pumpkin curry and pea tendrils, or the Smoked Salmon Mousse on a waffle. Also, it was nice for them to add big tubs of bottled water through out the park to keep everyone hydrated. My cell phone actually overheated in my hand. The entertainment was nice too. We had a lovely Salsa Instructor who showed us the steps. I actually did well, yay!

Yelp
Very expensive! Unsafe! Unethical move out billing practices! Roaches! Loud! I filed a complaint with the BBB. I will address each issue below: We paid over $2500 for a studio. Unsafe!: Ladies especially beware! Your neighbor is directly across from you and has a door peep hole- it makes it very easy for them to spy/stalk your behavior and schedule. My neighbor across was doing this. He knocked on my door several times and would open his door as I was & even tried to physically assault me with indeceny. At first I was friendly with him just as a normal neighbor would be. I would wave and have small talk. He offered up the information that he had verbally accosted/abused the manager at Hanover Montrose including cursing her out with F word and screaming. This is a huge RED FLAG and he never should have been transferred to another Hanover property. (He said they suggested it) Several times I ordered DoorDash the concierge didn't even call us, just sent them up. Imagine if it was not DoorDash. They are supposed to call you each time to confirm you are allowing a visitor. Unethical move out billing practices!: They bill you for every LITTLE THING. I'm talking a LIGHT BULB, Refrigerator filter, to clean the bathtub (even though you cleaned it), to "wipe" the water dispenser trey, any small damage to the real wood floors even if it was not your fault - caused due to incorrect installation (they left too much gap and the boards separate so your dining chair legs will fall through the gaps and dent the edges). So imagine they do that to EVERY resident upon move out. We are talking thousands and thousands of dollars being billed unethically. I see other Hanover complaints for this same thing on other properties and with the BBB. There should be a class action lawsuit! Loud!: In the bedroom in party you can hear everything above you so every morning we awakened by the person literally using the toilet and showering for at least half an hour. Extremely loud plumbing! I even recorded it and it picked up the sound with no problem. Construction across the way (another Hanover Highrise) was supposed to be done a long time ago according to what was told to us at leasing however it was super loud the entire time. No doubt it will block the view of those on the west side. Roaches!: I never had roaches in my previous home and didn't bring them - but they just kept coming back over and over even after extermination. Super gross! Unfriendly staff and concierge: The concierge (there are several) will just stare at you while you struggle to get in the main door. There is rarely a welcoming greeting from leasing or even just a smile or help with the door. The package room is just one open room. A property this expensive should have invested in lockers.

Yelp
Moved in mid July 2022, was easy, although it was at times difficult getting ahold of the office when I had questions. Conciege here was always super nice, all my guests loved them too. They were very on top of calling residentes and keeping things flowing! Amenities are beautiful too: gym is big and amazing view. The pool is even better! Wasn't able to renew my lease since I could never get ahold of anyone (changes where happening during this time I guess). Over all I'd recommend living here, very well located. Your in the middle of it all. Keep in mind there is construction happening around, but they are very mindful of letting residents know before hand.

Yelp
The Hanover Autry Park never replied to my calls to corporate about my application, and as you can see they never replied to my review on here, even though they replied to many other people's reviews posted after mine. I'm not entirely convinced the positive reviews are real. Nevertheless, a couple of months after my terrible rental application experience with Hanover Autry Park, I bought a house.

Yelp
Toured with Patrick. He is probably one of the best leasing professionals I have ever met over the years. Extremely kind, humble, knowledgeable, patient and professional. Always has the most pleasant smile that makes you feel like you belong there. Patrick took time to show each model and the video he created for the roof top amenities and pool when it was still under construction. Followed up with us and answered all questions promptly. I immediately fell in love with the place and the gorgeous downtown skyline view. Concierge and other leasing professionals were all extremely nice and always greet you with a smile. Love their 24 hours conceige. Parking fees for second or third cars is pretty steep but I am still very excited to be one of the residents and can't wait to use their state of the art gym, resort style roof top pool and other amenities.

Yelp
I LOVE it here!!! I recently toured with Cheyenne and had an absolutely amazing experience - and let me just say...the apartments were ALMOST just as beautiful as Cheyenne! This is definitely luxury living and the amenities you cannot compete with! Cheyenne was very knowledgeable of the property, its location and overall offerings, and even helped walk us through our "must-haves" in our new home. Hanover Autry Park checked all of our boxes! I cannot wait to move in! Thank you again Cheyenne for helping us find our new home!
