Atlanta Restaurant Openings October | Eater Atlanta

"I report the first Georgia location of Toastique, a toast-and-juice cafe originating in Washington, D.C., is set to open at the Hanover Midtown apartment complex on October 5, offering loaded toasts, smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juices, bowls, coffee, and grab-and-go options." - Henna Bakshi

I’ve been living here for a full year (after being misled into signing a 15-month lease), and the issues I’ve experienced are honestly too many to count on one hand. This place has cost me extra money, caused unnecessary stress, led to loss in business, and I’ve even felt discriminated against during interactions with staff. There is absolutely nothing luxury, safe, or professionally managed about this building. I live in the penthouse, paying almost $11,000 a month, and even at that price point the service and treatment are unacceptable. The concierge turns over every month, so no one ever knows what’s going on. The leasing office is rude, unhelpful, and extremely unprofessional. The staff as a whole is unreliable, disrespectful, and misleading. If you scroll through the reviews, you’ll quickly see the truth: All the 5-star reviews are from people who only TOURED the building — not actual residents. Meanwhile, the real 1-star reviews are from residents who all report the same issues I’ve dealt with. The reality is the price does not match the experience, which explains their very low retention rate. This building is all marketing and no substance.

Hanover Midtown is an amazing place to live! The building is clean, modern, and very well-maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful — especially Zack at the front desk, who is extremely cooperative and goes above and beyond to assist residents. The amenities are excellent — a 24x7 gym, a beautiful swimming pool, meeting rooms, an e-lounge, and even a quiet space where you can comfortably work on your laptop. Everything is kept in great condition. One of the best things about Hanover Midtown is how quickly they respond to maintenance requests. If there’s ever an issue, the maintenance team fixes it very fast — the service is super quick and reliable. Overall, Hanover Midtown offers comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

I toured the Hanover Midtown and instantly fell in love with the unit. The tour guide was great and she was very knowledgeable. One of the most efficient tours I’ve been on. When I was ready to apply, she quoted me a rate that was about $500 more than was posted online. Apparently they apply a portion of their 10 weeks free concession to the price shown online. That feels deceptive, scammy, and like a ploy to get you to come in and tour. It feels like a bait and switch. After talking to others, this was the same reason they didn’t choose to live here. Apparently it’s something all Hanover properties do. I don’t get why they do that when they tell you that they don’t apply the initial concession until month 2…..so why show it on the site as the monthly payment?! That coupled with the fact that they don’t use Approve Shield was unsettling.

I had a disappointing experience applying to Hanover Midtown and wanted to share it so others can be aware going in. I toured the property, paid a $425 application fee, and submitted everything in good faith. At the time, I was earning $110,000 a year and had a 760 credit score. I also have five years of successful rental history with no evictions. Despite meeting income and credit qualifications and even offering to prepay 15 months of rent upfront, my application was denied for “credit” and “rental history” reasons that didn’t reflect my actual background. The tour itself also wasn’t great. While my tour guide was polite, he seemed rushed and jittery, and the overall experience felt less thoughtful than what I’ve encountered at other luxury buildings in Midtown, where self-guided or more thorough tours are standard. It’s a beautiful property, but the process felt expensive, opaque, and inflexible. Personally, I don’t plan to reapply in the future. I’ll be moving into my second-choice apartment, which is perfectly fine. This property may work for some, but it wasn’t the right fit for me.

This is a two-part review... May '24: Took a tour of this property and was quite impressed. Brand new building that's only 2 months old and has amenities that give off luxury hotel vibes. I specifically looked at the H, I, J, and K units, all 1bd/1ba. Soft close cabinets, Whirlpool appliances, a desk, and extra storage space with mirror in the living room. To my surprise, even the 910 ft² unit was large enough to fit a small dining table and not make the unit feel cramped. Parking for guests is non-existent on property. Your guests will have to ride share or park at an off site parking garage (more than likely with a fee). That being said, they offer unreserved parking for $50 and reserved parking for $125 a month. I went back and forth between giving 4 or 5 stars simply because of the parking. I went with 5 stars because even though there is a lack of guest parking, I feel that will ultimately help with security of vehicles in the long run. Feb '25: I wanted to come back and give a follow-up review of my experience at Hanover Midtown after living here for 6 months now. Let me say that I absolutely still LOVE it here! The building opened almost a year ago and I can honestly still say that I enjoy how clean and well-kept the building is. Other than a couple short term issues, all four of the elevators work, the gym equipment and area is clean, and the lobby is a spirited place to walk through because the concierge team is so nice and welcoming! Following up on the parking situation... Me personally, I still don't mind that there's no guest parking, but I understand that my situation doesn't fit everyone's wants and needs. I have the sense of security that I can leave my vehicle parked for a long time and not worry about someone breaking into it. Early on, I did notice that the TV's in the common areas seemed to be stuck on certain channels. The controls didn't appear to be responsive, and it was rather annoying knowing that you couldn't change the channels. But that seemed to have been fixed a couple months ago, however the channel selections on the common area TVs are still limited. I recently decided to get a tour of a couple Penthouse units and I was guided by the newest member of the leasing team, Natalie. Natalie is absolutely AWESOME... Very detail oriented, knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. We toured two 3 bedrooms and a 2 bedroom, and all I can say is wow! I never realized how much of an upgrade the Penthouses are over the standard units. If they are in your price range, I would definitely say to consider one of them, because I would take one of them over buying a condo if it came down to it. Natalie gets 5 stars for the awesome tour that she gave me, even though I am already a resident. Lastly, my favorite part about living here at Hanover Midtown, is the management and leasing staff. I have never stepped into the lobby and not been greeted by the concierge or a leasing agent. It's small things like that, that go a long way! Furthermore, the property manager (Khaila) and her assistant (Chris) have done such an amazing job getting this place running smoothly. I travel for work, but I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoy coming home to Hanover Midtown after my trips.

Had a wonderful apartment tour with Khaila and Jon! They were both so friendly, professional, and informative throughout the entire process. They made me feel right at home and answered all my questions with patience and enthusiasm. I’m really looking forward to moving in and becoming part of the community!

From the moment I walked into the leasing office, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from Jevon. Jevon was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to my needs and preferences. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for in an apartment and went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with every aspect of the tour. Jevon provided detailed information about the various floor plans, amenities, and community features, making it easy for me to envision myself living in this wonderful community. I cannot wait to become a resident of this remarkable community and experience all that it has to offer. I highly recommend Hanover Midtown and scheduling a tour with Jevon to anyone in search of a luxurious and unforgettable living experience.

John was amazing! Toured me around the building and showed me exactly why Hanover has such high ratings. Definitely deserves 5 stars all around.
