My partner and I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and tried the banquet which was good value for money. We got a lot of different dishes very tasty and few tommies Margaritas which was very good! The service was excellent in terms of customer service and waiting time. The venue is well located in the valley and has an urban style. Definitely we will go back. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely dinner here on a Sunday evening. There were 10 of us so we had the banquet. All dishes were amazing, it's hard to pick a favourite. The drinks lost is quite comprehensive too. The venue itself is nice too. With outdoor seating under fairy lights or indoor with the windows open. With the industrial style interior it can get a bit noise when it's fully booked I can imagine. Would definitely recommend and go back at our next visit.

Thank you for our HAPPY BOY experience Our happy boy nephew enjoyed his lunch. It was extremely busy, and all staff were working hard trying to meet the demand of the crowd. Thank you to the ones who acknowledged us and spoke to us outside the instructional speak. It takes seconds to change someone's world in a positive way.

Have been a customer at Happy Boy since they first opened (in Spring Hill) and it's still my go-to for authentic Cantonese food. Food is exceptional–flavourful, fresh and fast. I can always rely on the place for a good feed. You can tell the chefs are Cantonese/Chinese. Service is great, staff attentive and easy to get a hold of. Atmosphere is three stars because the place is quite loud inside. Some soft furnishings would really help reduce noise levels. Outside on the fairy-lit deck is quieter and bit more romantic. Will always return, and highly recommend!

Okay food, nothing overly spectacular in terms of taste (felt rather plain), exceptional wine list, good ambience as it was mostly busy with a great vibe. Some staff training on the menu would have definitely made my experience better - the waiter unfortunately had no clue what was in 3 or 4 of the dishes I asked about and. "What you see is what you get" strange response I think. Worth a visit, but not sure I'd be back in a hurry.

The food was pretty good. We chose the banquet option and for $49 pp it's good value for the amount of food we got. The food arrived super quickly too which was great. The spring rolls weren't as crispy as they should be but the prawns inside were beautiful. The salt and pepper fish was delicious - the fish was tender and soft and well seasoned. The mince for the green beans dish was way too salty. The beef ribs in sweet sauce was nicely cooked with a crispy batter on the outside. Unfortunately there was hardly any sweet sauce. The fried rice had good "wok hay", and oil coated all the rice without being too greasy. Staff were friendly, the restaurant had good ambience. Overall a great experience.

5 Stars - A Culinary Gem in Brisbane! I recently visited Happy Boy in Brisbane with a friend, and we were absolutely delighted. We opted for the banquet menu at 50 AUD each, which allowed us to try every dish. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding – a true culinary journey through Asian cuisine! Not only was the food exceptional, but the value for money was also fantastic. For the price, we received more than enough to eat, and every bite was worth it. The team at Happy Boy was also fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable – they provided excellent service and made our evening unforgettable. I highly recommend Happy Boy to anyone who loves Asian cuisine and is looking for a great dining experience in Brisbane. We will definitely be back!
