I ordered chicken wings, and crab. Rangoon chicken was good crab. Rangoon was disgusting. Very salty. The wonton had no filling in them and they were wide open. Will not be ordering from here again if I wasn’t so fed up with food on 7th st I would of went to get my money back

This is my 2nd order of the same thing: chicken wings + plain rice....and now BOTH times they haven't delivered the rice!!!!! The order form even clearly shows I ordered "plain rice". Won't be ordering from them anymore...thats ridiculous.

There's no such thing as perfection until now! I love me some Chinese food once in a while, this is the place to go. Great and rapid service, peace and love to all.

Worst Chinese food I’ve had in a while .. chicken tasted sour , rice was bland and weird texture. The pork roll tasted like fish and the chicken nuggets was soggy . Gave it a try do not recommend.

BEWARE 🚩 My rice was translucent raw. The shrimp was mushy meaning bad not to mention the hairs plural in my food. Separation of oil and big clumpy unmixed sauce. I could NOT eat this mess it went right to the trash. BEWARE🚩NEVER AGAIN.🙏🏾🌱👊🏾😇💕

I'll be honest I tipped pretty well like 27% percent and paid for multiple foods for family and the food only ended up either barely seasoned or oversalted and I had also paid for delivery so it wasn't worth my money, the service is fast but the food quality isn't good and I won't put any stars for atmosphere because I haven't been to the physical restaurant since I have paid for delivery

Just ordered chicken wings and cheese fries and the food was nasty. Also the cheese fries was old and sour! They don't refund your money.. this place is bad.

I ordered two items (through Uber Eats) from Happy Garden, Broccoli with Beef and Beef Pepper Steak. The broccoli seemed fresh in the first entree, as were the vegetables in the second. The beef is both entrees was tender though chewy. I ordered both meals spicy. Neither order was spicy. I also suggested not sending any rice with the whole order. They sent rice anyway. So much for following instructions. Overall, both items were good, though average.

Reviews on DoorDash were much better, should have come here first. Food was just bad. Out of all three dishes we ordered none of us liked it. Crab Rangoon tasted like eating raw scallion. Don't go here.

I'm extremely disappointed. I always ordered Butterfly Shrimp and now they took it off the menu. I will never order from them again. Why do restaurants do this? I will never understand the logic of purposefully alienating some good customers. Add things if you want to, but why remove things knowing some of your customers love it. I guess your customers don't matter.

I order from here using Doordash or Uber eats on occasion, and there food is always solid. Not 5 stars but not bad either. I haven't had a problem with any of my orders. I like their general tsao chicken and lomein the best.

I ordered tonight and it had a hair in the food i am really deeply disappointed and the flavor was not what I expected.

My daughter ordered from here last night and it was disgusting. Would NEVER order from here again. Chinese cuisine is one of the great cuisines of the world, and this meal was an absolute insult to the cuisine, and to food in general. The general Tso chicken was mostly breading, pale tasteless sauce and the chicken chunks obviously came from a big bag of frozen, pre-breaded chicken. Served with frozen peas and carrots! You have got to be kidding me. Undercooked, flavor-free shrimp. I have eaten Chinese food in many, many countries on three continents. And this was just an insult to anyone to cares about serving and eating decently prepared food. How can you serve this slop to your fellow humans? I am sure the owner of this restaurant would never eat food of the quality that was delivered to our apartment last night. No respect. Avoid. PS the rice was OK!

I've been to many Chinese restaurants in my life but this is by far the best restaurant I have been to. I would always get the chicken with broccoli at every Chinese restaurant I go because that is a safe food to start with and this place blown my mind, so every week I would try something different and their boneless ribs w/o pork rice was on point. The workers here very welcoming and I even received a free calendar after I received my order. Surprisingly the place is very clean unlike the other restaurants in Allentown. I did delivery too and the driver was very kind and they are quick too.

I ordered the wonton soup because I felt sick, but when I woke up the next morning, I was also sick BECAUSE of the wonton soup. Don't order.

Bro no joke this place is the worst. I ordered chicken and broccoli through uber eats and it was SEEPING in more oil than actual sauce. It was also bland. The sweet and sour chicken was also under done and bland. It made me sick to my stomach. Never again. I thought after a few years this place would redeem itself, i should have just stayed away. They also did not give me my second order of chicken teriyaki.

Awful food A to Z! I do not appreciate when being lied to about ingredients! My seafood entree had crawfish in it. I despise and choose not to eat crawfish. There was not one shred of lobster nor crab meat. They did fill it with chunks of imitation crab. The scallops were the size of pencil erasers. Just wondering what other ingredients get substituted. Will never recommend or order from this place again!

I asked for Butterfly Shrimp I order it all the time & this time i got it & there was no sauce The Meal Was Bone Dry When i called them & told them about they just brushed it off & said the sauce was in the Food But that was a lie I will not eat there ever again They Quality of the Food Sucks

Got Shrimp with cashews and chicken and broccoli to go. Very good, chicken could have been a bit spicier. Got the small size on the chicken and there was still more than plenty. Not much parking here so I think next time I'll take advantage of their delivery service and save myself the trouble. I parked behind the place in front of a dumpster which was fine but when it came time to leave I had to back out into a somewhat busy street, a woman actually held up traffic for me so I could get out.

Its really good food. Only problem is the meal was $12 and i'm not sure if they gave me a small when i put in for a large but after i finished eating the tiny portioned food i made a sandwich

I have been an advocate for Happy Tarden's cuisine to this day. I made an order of two combinations of Pork Fried Rice with Boneless Pork Ribs. To the truth, they failed as experts in Chinese cuisine. The rice was half cooked and had no pork ... no vegetables, only onions. The meat seems to have been cooked about 10 times on the grill because it was too hard and tasteless.

We ordered from here for the first time and it was delicious!!! We got the lobster fried rice and it really hit the spot! Everything was perfect temperature, perfect flavor and right on point! Definitely will be ordering from here again !!

This is absolutely one of the nastiest Chinese restaurants in the Lehigh valley. There are several but this one is one of the worst. First off the people cooking in the kitchen spend more time smoking cigarettes outside of the kitchen door than cooking. The door to the kitchen is always open so anything can run in. I have drove past and seen food on the floor. The kitchen floor looks sticky, and the person cooking always looks very dirty (apron always dirty, face looks dirty). Now the worse part is that there is a dumpster right outside that is always over flowing, I have seen rats, not mice, rats running back there. After all of that the food is not good at all. I have not eaten there in over a year and that Chinese restaurant is the closest on to my house.

I get delivery from Happy Garden at least once a week. The phone call is always fast and easy. They helped me with finding vegetarian options. Food is great and fairly priced. Delivery is always RAPID for me. I've never waited longer than 20 minutes. Definitely worth the money.

I have had this place plenty of times, either it's good or terrible. The food is never consistent on being good. The wonton soup was never good.The last time there was hair in the food. That was the end of that. The happy garden in Whitehall is 20 times better, it's fresh people are nicer, they don't charge you for delivery and the restaurant iscleaner

Got chicken and rice from this place. There was barely any chicken in the dish and roaches in the rice. Do not get food from this disgusting place.

I order from here all the time, mostly for delivery. They are your standard Chinese takeout, all noodle dishes are good, all stir fry is good. The deep fried items are good too (but be careful about the shrimp toast). Prices are cheap and they are generous with their servings. I don't complain about service because, again, it's your standard Chinese takeout. Just be happy you can usually understand the person who picks up the phone and enjoy your meal :)

This is my ONLY negative yelp review. I wish I could leave a 0 star review. Got a flyer on my door this morning for their "grand opening". First night off with the boy in a month or so, we got take out. I order, notice when I am trying at the end of the call to pay with my card and they hang up. The guy arrives and I try to hand him my card. He starts SCREAMING, LOUDLY and repetitively that I should have told them about the card. I repeatedly tried to ask them for the amount so I could give him cash. Try calling the manager and she tells me I have to start the call by saying that I am ordering with a card, ignoring how he acted. I have to finally interrupt her by say "I have to ask you a question, have you heard of yelp?". PS. They did not give me crab ragoons :(

HORRIBLE!!! Don't ever eat here. They are extremely rude and very dirty. Food is terrible, not hot or fresh. They will rip you off of you pay with a credit card. Took over an hour to deliver 1 mile away. The food we ordered wasn't in the bag so we called and they actually had the nerve to say that we ate it!

The food is not horrible but the customer service in this place is one of the worst I've encountered. It can be when trying to order over the phone or in store. They seriously need to be more courteous while dealing with guest and show some respect. It may not be in an area in which is accustomed to too many great places to eat but they should still have some respect for guest! Definitely not worth anyone's time!

DON'T EVER GET FOOD FROM HERE Might as well throw your money in the trash instead of ordering from here. I ordered the General Tso's with Pork Fried Rice with an eggroll and a can of coke and my total was 11.55. I had 55 cents but the driver gave it back to me and just took $12 out of the $20 I gave him. I prepare to eat the food and it's kind of warm in some spots. I take a bite of the chicken and it's all crust, bone, cardboard, whatever. I thought that I possibly had a bad piece so I tried another, still hard and crusty. I try some rice and it outright smells like raw chicken and tastes like dishwater. I moved on to the eggroll thinking it'll at least save the meal considering I walked into the store once & bought 2 eggrolls and they were delicious, nope! The outside of the eggroll looked sad and old, like it was sitting around or it was fried in dirty oil. I open my Coke and it's not even chilled, it's a room temperature soda. I don't mind drinking room temperature soda but I'm irritated that no part of this meal whatsoever was good, not even the soda. The rest of the food is in my fridge now just sitting there and the only reason why I would eat it is because there's nothing else to eat until I go grocery shopping tomorrow, but I think I'll starve. Go to Mi-Chong's or save your money.
