The Best Coffee Shops in Ottawa and Gatineau | Eater Montreal
"With five locations around the city, Happy Goat’s comfortable cafés are a good way to start or end a day — with open mic and board game nights, if that’s your thing. Happy Goat sells ethically sourced beans wholesale and retail, runs brewing classes, and most of the treats on offer are vegan. The original location (right here) is housed in a spacious warehouse with ample seating for the laptop crowd." - Ivy Lerner-Frank
Everyone here has always been incredibly nice and sweet. I really feel like they go through extra mile for those that respect them and treat them well. I’ve been coming semi consistently for my commute and whether it’s winter or summer I’ve always been happy.

I was so surprised to be walking through the Blair LRT station and to stumble across The Happy Goat! There’s a great selection of coffee and light baked goods, including nitro cold brew if that’s your thing. Staff are super friendly and the prices are great. Very happy I found it!

Lovely people, and I was excited to be able to support a local business, but when I got my latte it was missing an inch from the top. For a small, $6 drink, that's very disappointing. Didn't notice until I got on the train and left.

A small oasis in a stuffy train station. Every time I've had a coffee here, it's been good. I got an iced americano this time, it's just a good cup of coffee for an honest price. Staff is super friendly and will answer your questions if you have any.

Honestly, some of the best hot chocolate I've had in a while. An absolute lifesaver in the winter while commuting.

Tiny box in the wall, but the people are great and the coffee is even better!

The gingerbread cookies are AMAZING. However, the hot chocolate is abysmal. 5 dollars for chocolate syrup and frothy milk is not okay. The cashier was awesome, but wow, the hot chocolate is bad...

Had a great experience today. Ice machine was broken but I was able to get a can of nitro cold brew, and the barista poured me a bit of oat milk in a cup so I was still able to enjoy my morning cold brew! Then the polite cashier informed me the brownies were also vegan, so I had a yummy treat as well. Super cute local coffee shop, able to get my morning caffeine in between trains!
