Google
I always enjoy this place, the service is always top notch, the atmosphere is very good, the food is always excellent. We do find the talking around us to not be quite, that’s the only drawback, but in a very busy place that is to be expected. If you close the doors and do not see the outside, you could be in Singapore or Hong Kong. What a delight it is to be here

Google
All the food was delicious and suited our family's taste. I tried the sea cucumber dish for the first time and could taste the soft sea cucumber. The lobster dish was also delicious. The shrimp fried rice was generous and tasty. The taste was good and the price was reasonable.

Google
It’s one of my favorite Chinese Sea Food restaurants. You can have fresh alive Lobsters, King Crabs, and many different types of fishes. They offer small dishes too which you can get super fast. It’s a little bit pricey if you choose seafood. But it’s worth. This type of cooking way is less salt, sugar, oil, healthier than most restaurants. Highly recommend! Give a try!

I rarely write reviews, but after reading some unfair comments about this restaurant, I felt upset and decided to share my honest experience. My family and my sister’s family have eaten here many times over the past few months, and we all truly appreciate the chefs who prepare such delicious food every time we visit. We’ve tried almost everything — dim sum and dinner — and have enjoyed every meal. In my opinion, even Newport Seafood can’t beat the Hong Kong–style lobster served here. The restaurant also offers a very generous deal — only $7.99 per pound for Boston lobster when you spend over $50 on dinner on weekdays. Besides the lobster, other dishes such as tofu with seafood, shrimp with walnuts, and vegetables with bacon are all excellent. The portions are large, and the prices are very reasonable! The customer service is good and makes you feel comfortable. I’ve completely stopped going to Tan Cang (Newport) Seafood because the food here is simply better! Please don’t be misled by dishonest reviews — give this place a try and see for yourself!

Google
The service is prompt and friendly. I went during their dim summer hour and we ordered up because everything looked so delicious. We were not disappointed with anything. The food certainly satisfied us. This is one of the best places for dim sum in Southern California. We drove from Orange County just to eat here.

Google
This place was recommended to me and I honestly had pretty high expectations. My family enjoys dim sum quite often but this place was a let down. The food was average, nothing special. The place was pretty busy-as in almost every table was full. Service catered to our needs most of the time, but they forgot forks we asked for. This is fine by me though because I understand it was very busy.

Google
The restaurant has been open for many years, and I used to eat fresh geoduck sashimi. Today, I ate a lot of authentic Cantonese food, as well as squab and roast duck at my family reunion.

Google
Arrived around 11:30 and waited for 30 mins for our table, a very busy restaurant. The food was pretty good, my favorite was chicken feet in abalone sauce, very juicy and flavorful, my sister loves their fried chives shrimp pork patties, we even reordered before we checking out. Other dim sums were all over average, we had 3 adult and paid for about $85 (after tax and tips). I think the price is fair. Be prepared for the line if you get there after 11:00, but after you have your favorite dish (for me was chicken fee), it's worth it.

Yelp
We visited Happy Harbor Seafood Restaurant in Rowland Heights today for Thanksgiving, and it reminded me why this place is one of my go-to spots whenever I want to treat family or special guests to a great meal. They serve dim sum during lunchtime and a full range of Cantonese dishes in the evening. The restaurant is very popular with both the local Chinese community and people in the area, and because it's such a large and well-known spot, it's almost always crowded. Today we waited over 20 minutes just to get in. The food is excellent, and you can really tell the chef knows what he's doing--everything is prepared with great flavor and skill. They also offer premium dishes like lobster, whole fish, and Peking duck, so it's a great choice when you want to bring important guests who will appreciate a high-quality meal. One thing to note is that the service can be a bit slow, probably because they're so busy. Today, our lunch ended up taking more than an hour and a half. Overall, though, it's still a great spot that consistently delivers delicious food and an impressive dining experience. Highly recommended.

Yelp
The dim sum here is okay - they don't do the carts anymore so kind of takes away from the experience and freshness of the food. A lot of the food showed up cold by the time it came to our table. The black custard buns are not very good. The shrimp rice roll, and shrimp dumplings are always my go-to but also were mediocre. Service is okay, they don't come that often to your table unless you call them. Atmosphere is noisy and crowded during weekends like most dim sum restaurants. There's lots of parking on the lot.

Yelp

Yelp

Yelp
from the start you already kind of get a feel for this place. really fancy interior, you walk past their live seafood and their wine collection before getting into the dining area. the food was absolutely spectacular, definitely the highest quality dim sum ive had in a long time. in particular, the chicken feet was especially good, near fall-apart tender, very easy to eat. the tripe was very flavorful. the single piece of broccoli some of the dishes had was a cute touch. prices seemed fairly reasonable too, especially considering the fancy aura of the place. definitely expect this place to be more pricey than your typical dim sum, but i think the quality of the food makes up for it.

Yelp
This review is based on my first visit. I came here for a business lunch with clients and the service was amazing--fast, friendly, and really attentive. The dim sum tasted great, and the standout dish for me was the lobster noodles. I love that they had so many options to choose from that were vegetarian beef and chicken since I don't eat pork. The restaurant is very clean and super casual, not fancy, but perfect for a relaxed meal. I'd definitely come back.

Yelp
You know what they say: "3 stars on yelp means the service is bad but the food is a good for a Chinese restaurant." (at the time of this review, this restaurant has 3 stars) The service is not great, but the food is. The honey walnut shrimp is a classic and well done here. The fish was fresh and flavorful, and the lobster garlic noodles hit the spot. For a Saturday evening, it wasn't crowded, which surprised me but made for an easy dinner without a wait. Overall, a solid spot for Chinese favorites!

Yelp
Overall: 4 stars. On other weekends, we usually have around a 20-35 minutes wait for a party of 7. Memorial Day Saturday weekend, many people were probably out of town because there were a good amount of tables open. Service: 3 stars. Waiters forget requests from time to time (napkins, hot sauce, the check) but at least for a party of 6 and a baby, tips were not automatically charged. However, we did get billed $1.98 tea for the baby. I told them upon entry so make sure you check before pay. I love dimsum food though at the end of always over ordering, the total price reminds us we can't come every weekend. $5.18-$7.28 for each tasty dish.

Yelp
Lots of people and super busy! Pretty good dim sum! First time I tried sea cucumber. It was like jelly, it was okay. I personally didn't like it, but definitely give it a try Would likely come back to this place

Yelp
I really loved the siu mai here. It's piping hot and fresh, with big chunks of fresh shrimp and covered with delicious roe. The chicken feet was pretty standard and the triangle pastry was loaded with bbq meat. It was absolutely amazing. The only thing I didn't care for was the banh cuon with corn and meat; the corn kinda threw me off and added a weird texture I didn't really like. Otherwise, service was fast and the hot tea is good. Definitely would come back for the siu mai.

Yelp
I came here at 11 a.m. on a Saturday with my family and relatives--party of 8. We were immediately greeted and seated right away. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I feel like they have a great floor staff because they're always aware of when you're ready to order or if you'd like additional tea. Of course, speaking the language helps, but overall, the service was excellent. The food was incredibly fresh and came out so quickly. I'm honestly surprised by the low ratings in other reviews. This place was recommended by my aunt and uncle, who have been coming here for many years. They tried another dim sum spot for a while, but now they're back here--and wow, I can see why! I'm actually a vegetarian, while my entire family eats meat, but I still had plenty of delicious options, including the pineapple bun, egg tart, soy sauce noodles, and other meat-free dishes. I really loved everything I tried. The pricing was also very affordable, making it an even better experience. I'll definitely be coming back with my family again. This is a great place for family gatherings or catching up with friends. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience and highly recommend it!

Yelp
My family and I decided to come here after witnessing the typical chaotic mess down the street over at New Capital. It ended up being the right call because the dim sum here was actually really good - I actually think I like it more than New Capital to be honest. The siu mai and hargow were excellent here, especially the siu mai! They were much larger than most places and the texture was perfect. Both were snappy and juicy and so full of flavor. These were 10/10. Chicken feet were also very delicious too, though I wish they were a bit saucier. Other than that, they were soft and tender. Silky texture and fall off the bone delicious. We ordered beef and shrimp cheung fun and those were great as well. The spare ribs were very tender and perfectly steamed. The tripe was great, but a little too liquidy/soupy for my preference. Lastly, the chow mein and beef chow fun were good, especially the former, and that's coming from someone who doesn't really care for chow mein. The beef chow fun was good, but I've had much better elsewhere. It was a little dry. The service started off pretty rude, even by Chinese standards. However, once the restaurant began to empty out, the service improved. Some of the dishes took FOREVER to come out though, especially the chow mein which we ordered at the beginning. We didn't get it until we were almost done with our meal, but thankfully one of the staff rushed the order out. Even he was surprised to see that it hadn't come out yet. Believe me when I say we ordered A LOT which actually ended up being the perfect amount since we ended up eating everything. It was all very reasonably priced too. My sister, wife and I were all pleasantly surprised. I think moving forward after yesterday, I will not be returning to New Capital for dim sum anymore. It's too busy, too chaotic, and the stairs leading up to the outside area is super grimy and dirty. The energy inside the place is so busy it's hard to have a nice meal without feeling the stress of the whole place. Happy Harbor doesn't have any of those issues and quite frankly, the food is better too and fairly priced. Definitely a fan and will be coming back next time.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with some coworkers on a Wednesday afternoon. This is a really large restaurant that can easily fit at least 100 people. They sell dim sum but not in the traditional carts (however I think since COVID it's rare to find the carts). Their dumplings are always very flavorful and juicy. My favorite are the truffle dumplings
google avatar

M S.

Yelp
Overall, the food was on the sweeter side. The ambiance was ok--tables are a bit close together, but that's pretty typical for dim sum places. Service was quick, no complaints.
google avatar

Kiki T.

Yelp
I personally really enjoyed this place!! Love the vibe and atmosphere!! The food was tasty. To me personally...I feel the service was good too. To order here, you get a pretty paper menu and mark what you want and the waiter takes it away to put in your order and bring back the menu to your table. It's not the old school version where there are carts of dim sum.
google avatar

Stephen P.

Yelp
Lobster noodle special $22 is worth a try! Dim sum is pretty standard fare. Get here before 12pm to avoid a wait.
google avatar

Louis L.

Yelp
Sunday morning, and wanted some Dim Sum. Walked in and there was a wait this time... Easter Sunday, so there were many people waiting. My wait wasn't too bad though, I 'd say about 15-20 minutes. As always, had to order the "must haves" Har Gow, Shui Mai, Chicken Feet. We wanted to try some newer selections, so we got their fried fish, Chinese Lettuce Veggies, HK Style Chicken Wings, and a few other dishes. Overall, we had a great time. The staff were acceptable and many of them were pretty friendly. Ended up ordering a bit too much, but it's good, since they will become tasty leftovers!!!
google avatar

Yelp
We have been missing good Dimsum in North Texas. So when opportunity came to visit So. Cal, we went on a hunt for good dimsum places. Our friend recommended this place. Glad we tried it . They don't have the push carts , you will have to order through a paper menu. We ordered Hakaw, pork siomai , truffle siomai, beef chao fan, chicken feet was pretty good. We also got seafood pan fried Chow mein . The dessert bun with yolk was just okay. The yolk was too runny. Service was okay. Pricing is okay, $128 for 4 pax.
google avatar

Alan N.

Yelp
Dim sum is not bad here. A bit chaotic with the waitlist. You have to flag the staff down. Don't wait at the counter. Get the sweeten egg yolk bun. It's black colored - very very delicious. Probably the best thing I ate!
google avatar

Thanya B.

Yelp
Came in for a late dinner, and everything was exceptional. Service was great, and food tastes amazing. One of the servers was even kind enough to bring us a little dessert at the end. Very much appreciated! I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Happy Harbor is fire!! If you're looking for amazing Chinese food, you've found the right place. I've been here many times for both dim sum and dinner and you really can't miss for either. They've always been consistently good. For dim sum, the restaurant uses a menu to order (gone are the days of cart pushing unfortunately) but the food comes out quite fast. The buns with hot custard inside are so fresh and good. Careful when you eat it though... your neighbor might be in splash zone if you try to bite into the bun as the custard might squirt out everywhere! My party also loved the steam rice rolls and the spare ribs The service is what you'd expect at any bomb Chinese restaurant. The workers are decently attentive and whilst they won't necessarily smile all the time, they work fast and get the job done... a win in my book. The restaurant has ample parking as it's in the same big plaza as ranch 99 market and inside, the place is decorated beautifully with nice paintings on the wall. The restaurant is huge and has multiple private rooms (both in main hall and in the back). 5/5 stars for sure

Jonathan L.

Yelp
I was looking for a Chinese restaurant in the Hacienda Heights/Rowland Heights/City of Industry area that had a private banquet room that could host a funeral reception for approximately 70 people, and found Happy Harbor here on Yelp. (The funeral was going to take place at Rose Hills Memorial Park, which is only about a 20-30 minute drive from Happy Harbor.) The restaurant has several private group rooms of varying sizes, and the largest one was just right for our reception. They have a banquet menu with a good selection of dishes. I was able to reserve the room by putting down a deposit and later giving them an estimated count of the number of guests I was expecting. They were ready for us and served the dishes promptly and efficiently. The manager even helped me play a video slideshow on the flatscreen TV already mounted on the wall in the room and turned on the microphone and speakers so I could use them to speak to those gathered. I would recommend Happy Harbor, especially if you're looking for a place with private dining rooms where you can host a small party, family gathering, group meeting, or other special event.

Yelp
Good and quality authentic Cantonese cuisine. Clean interior and a crowd. We ordered the lobster noodle special at $23 on Saturday lunch. Portion was medium sized, not enough to fill 3 of us up. Dim sums are smaller quantity than I thought 6.99 for large but each quantity is just a few bites. Shrimp rice noodle, white chicken feet were both 6.99 each. Lobster noodles were delicious.

Yelp
My gf and I decided to take some risks and try the restaurant with 3 stars on yelp, assuming the low stars was for service, which means the food might be bussinn! The interior is very nice. No host so the people were confused. We walked inside and found the very busy host, but she got all parties seated right away! We sat for a while and no one came to take our order, you really gotta wave down the servers for service, but they are all quick once you get their attention which is fine by me! There was one server that was especially good, came by to swap our plates out so we had clean plates during our meal, made sure we had everything we needed with speeed in this bustling restaurant. Food was good: - Ginger Scallion Lobster w/ Yi Mein noodles. Noodles were pretty mid, but fresh lobster for $22 was worth. - Truffle Siu Mai was very juicy - Squid Ink Molten Egg Custard Bao was AMAZING!! - Chicken feet was good - Shrimp noodle rolls were standard Enjoyed our meal here and would come back for the Squid Ink Custard Bao if im in the area for sure.

Siyun W.

Yelp
It is an authentic dim sum place with fancy dining area and walk-ins fish tanks. Some tables are placed closely to each other so it can be hard to navigate across. The foods are decent and about average. On the weekend, it starts to get crowded after 10:30 am FYI.
google avatar

Sophia G.

Yelp
We had a great experience here! From making the reservation to the actual visit, it was smooth and pleasant. Our party of 14 was seated in one of the semi-private rooms in the back of the restaurant. It was nice that they had those rooms. It was quieter and less busy than the rest of the restaurant. Also, the servers were more attentive. We marked what we wanted to order off the menu and the server came to collect it. Food came pretty quickly and piping hot. We must have ordered all the dim sum they offered because our table was covered with all the variety. Their dim sum, compared to other restaurants, was larger in size. For example, the siu mai was huge and stuffed with all the good stuff. I liked the shrimp and leek dumplings. The taro cakes were good. Oh and they had a special price for the lobster noodles. You could choose which kind of noodles. It was fresh and delicious. One con would be the porridge. It was pretty much just watery rice, nothing else. Skip that! And of course, we had to finish the meal with egg tarts. Those were perfect. Not overly greasy or burnt. The server was very patient with us when we asked if he could take photos for our group. I'd recommend making reservations for this place because it can get really busy, especially on the weekends.

Yelp
HAVE: Pork Siumai, Shrimp Hargow, Beef with vegetables, Sauteed bokchoy in garlic sauce, Shrimp fried rice, Sesame balls, Custard (?) bread TAKE: The food is average in taste, a little bland. The dim sum and beef with vegetables were decent, but nothing to rave about -at least I didn't leave hungry. Overall, if you're looking for a casual meal without high expectations, this restaurant may be worth a try. Also, we were surprised to find out that the tea setting on our table, which we thought was complimentary, was actually charged at $3.96 for two people. If you're not a tea drinker like us, be sure to let them know right away that you prefer not to have it, to avoid any unexpected charges. SERVICE: It seemed like there wasn't a specific server assigned to each table. Instead, you had to call them over whenever you needed something, whether it was to place an order, get utensils, or ask for sauces. After they brought out the food, no one really checked on us, so if we needed anything else, we had to search for an available server and call them over. The restaurant was busy, and the staff seemed preoccupied. Most of them did not have a smile on their face, except for one male server who was more receptive, unfortunately I didn't catch his name. It would be nice to see all staff members smiling and cheerful to create a more welcoming environment for customers. AMBIANCE: Upon entering the restaurant, there was a noticeable fishy smell in the small hallways leading to the dining area, likely due to the nearby aquarium where live seafood was kept. Additionally, the tables were placed closely together, which may have made the dining area feel a bit cramped. The environment could have been cleaner to improve the overall dining experience.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
used to be way better, but quality of all dishes has definitely decreased ex. barely any meat in fried circular dumplings service is okay for a chinese restaurant, but that's a pretty low metric (our duck didn't come) super duper busy even on weekdays in the summer, so beware of how it might feel pretty cramped (& odd smell)
google avatar

Rissy L.

Yelp
I haven't been to Happy Harbor for dim sum since the pandemic so we decided to go there to cure my dim sum craving. We ordered 9 items but sadly, most of these were not as good as it used to be so we were a bit disappointed by the dim sum. The only items that were still up to par: -truffle siu mai (delicious) -squid ink molten egg custard bun (super tasty) -beef tripe in XO sauce (spicy with a kick) They also have the lobster noodles lunch special for $19.99 for dine-in only. The lobster was juicy and the noodles were a good compliment to the lobster. Overall, we are hoping they will improve their dim sum quality. Their other seafood dishes are still delicious so we will come back for those instead.

Yelp
I come in for dim sum with a couple of friends last weekend. This is probably the most central destination to all of our locations so it was great to be able to find something we can all agree on. At first I wasn't really sure where to check in. Especially at the front with where the front counter is nobody was there. However there was a line in the hallway towards the main dining area where everyone's lining up. So I waited in the line and that was where to wait. We were seated fairly quickly. There's lots of larger tables for bigger parties. They gave us a menu to mark up and they brought over all the dishes shortly after. I feel like the food was pretty good and it's exactly what you think it would be in the best way possible. Lots of great items here for those looking for a great dim sum experience. The parking situation is a little bit I see here's that's what you got with a busy plaza with a 99 ranch in it. I parked to the side where it wasn't too hectic.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not too sure why the place has a low star rating, but I didn't come here for their dim sum. Instead, I came here for their dinner options with duck and seafood options. The service was quick as we were one of the only tables there dining that night and the interior was very spacious and comfortable. The best dishes were by far the duck and lobster as they had great flavors, they were cooked perfectly, and the quality of each dish was as expected if not more. The soup that came with the duck was rich and had a nice smooth texture with the perfect amount of seasoning in it. Overall, I'd come back to try their other dishes, but I definitely recommend their dinner dishes.

Yelp
Woke up at 1 PM on Sunday knowing for sure my dim sum cravings can never be fulfilled. However, I still scroll on Yelp in hopes to find some luck for a solid dim sum restaurant that opens late and found this place with more than 1k reviews! Arriving at 2 PM and getting seated immediately with no wait on a weekend brunch seems too good to be true with a well know dim sum restaurant! Very interesting that they also give out a can of chili sauce for each table free of charge, which is very unique since some other dimsum places only give out their house-made chili sauce or charge extra for this type of chili sauce nowadays! The service is top tier! Very fast and tends to each table thoroughly compared to other dim sum restaurants. Although there is still a language barrier, they seem to understand your order very quickly. The food arrived fast but some of dishes were not too great, not to mention, missing some of my favorite dim-sum items in the menu. The only highlighted part we enjoyed is the dessert! I found out that their baked pineapple bun and custard bao is made freshly based on their textures and the filling inside! Maybe next time I will try to arrive early and maybe get better dim sum in the morning!

Yelp
I found rat pooh on this dim sum... We tried to resolve this dirty bun issue with the manager but he said it's what it's... So we will take this to health dept. and hopefully they will really look at it...

Yelp
We came here for an early lunch and we came at the perfect time. We were seated immediately and did not have to wait. You order from a menu and add the quantity of each item requested and they bring it out. It was perfect and even one person ate more than expected. Everything was fresh and tasty. I will say you don't come to dim sum expecting customer service. That is the reality. You have to call the waiters over for anything you need. It is a busy atmosphere once things pick up. But I definitely want to come back. Finally a dim sum spot nearby!

Yelp
Overall: pleasantly surprising dim sum place! Relatively affordable prices and sufficiently quality food! Expected abrasive service but that's the true authentic experience! Food: cost wise it was $5/6/7 for S/M/L. The classic dim sum dishes were all above average. shumai, har gow, cha shao bao, rice rolls, and steamed pork were all surprisingly tasty! The only knock would be their rice noodle/rolls as it felt a bit grainy and refrigerated (instead of fresh). Unfortunately it was a dead giveaway that most of the dishes were probably premade and reheated. Things that could use some help were the turnip cakes that could've been pan fried more. The lobster was incredibly underwhelming and would not recommend whatsoever. The fried dumpling could use a bit more filling but the texture was crispy chewy as hoped for! Ambience/Decor/Service: interior design gives a more upscale look contrary to their cheap prices. The rowdiness of the crowd is as you'd anticipate but it's disheartening that they don't do push carts anymore either. As such, the miscommunication with the waiter about needing to substitute egg noodles for rice noodles (allergy) was lost. As expected the follow up to the mistake was less than exemplary as typical of Chinese restaurants.

Yelp
The food was fast and great! There are pictures on the menu. That helps a lot when you don't speak or read Chinese. I went for my aunty birthday. It was great. The black bun with egg yolk is so yummy. The place is nice but some how when we done eating. The crew was cleaning up and vacuum the area next to us when the guests are still in their table with food. Just seems weird that they do that. Kinda unsanitary. Anyways other guests seems to not be bothered. I think it's not good tho.

Yelp
Party of four with 3 adults and 1 kid decided to have lunch at Happy Harbor, a Cantonese style seafood restaurant on high end side. Their dim sum dishes are build to order so everything is more fresh and tastier than ones sitting in the carts, plus you don't waste time calling the cart over for specific dim sum or deserts that you really want or just been told it's sold out wait for next turn! Service is fast from reception to our waiters. There is no wait on Friday noon around 12:20pm. Because we are craving for dim sums, way more dishes are ordered as the result! Giant Shrimp dumping, Chinese turnip cake, fish roe siu mai, Chinese sausage rolls, pork soup dumplings, baked bbq pork bun, chicken feet, Chinese broccoli, shrimp in thin rice wraps. All the dim sum looks good, tastes good, smells great and fresh. Ingredients used are better than most other dim sum places and it reflects on the menu price too. All parties enjoy the dim sum and environment of Happy Harbor seafood restaurant. It's great for small gathering to big parties. We also like the fact that we do not have to yell to have a decent conversation.

Yelp
Brought my non Asian friends here for dimsum/Yumcha. They all loved it! They were impressed with the lobster and lucky long life noodles we ordered; Which were also reasonably priced. My favorite is here is the chicken knuckles. Crunchy and yummy!

Yelp
Always amazing. The service is on point but the servers are rude. We had the best lunch and totally blew our diets. We had almost one of everything. Always make sure your get the XO sauce and pay extra for another chili plate. Just make sure they give you more chili than mustard. That's not fair if you ask me. The food is amazing but the staff isn't nice and they are super stingy with the sauces.

Yelp
The place is a solid 3 stars. You mark your order form and give it to them for processing. The ticket is printed in Chinese so good luck reading it. They did not have roast pork and since I'm not Chinese they didn't say anything and scratched it out on the order form. I thought the soy sauce chicken and shrimp in steamed rice noodles were a bit sweeter than I like. Most people had noodles ordered to their table and we didn't get any so maybe if I go back I'll try it. Overall it was OK.

Yelp
We decided to give this place a try. We demolished everything we ordered. Our faves were the pork shrimp shumai, xiao bao long and sesame balls. Very quick service even if the place was jam packed. You have to really wave your arm around to call attention when you need something because there are lots of customers.

Yelp
Happy Harbor used to be our favorite dim sum restaurant in Rowland Heights but their dim sum quality got downgraded. Their dim sum prices range from small ($4.88), medium ($5.88), large ($6.88), XL ($8.99) to XXL ($9.99). They charge tea price for $1.98 per person which is quite reasonable. We tried total 10 dim sum dishes (4 large, 5 medium and 1 small) and pork chow fun with salty fish. We were a bit disappointed for the dim sum quality this time. The skin of the Jumbo shrimp har gow, chiu chow style steamed dumplings, and steamed chives har gow were so thick. The one we didn't like the most was the pork chow fun with salty fish. They didn't give us much salty fish and the taste was so bland and lack of flavor. For the price we paid for $110 (including tips), I didn't expect mediocre quality dim sum though. I can definitely find much better quality dim sum places in San Gabriel Valley especially Monterey Park and Alhambra area.

Yelp
This restaurant is a scam. Strongly suggest FDB or any department of restaurant/food regulation should investigate this restaurant for overpricing and adulteration of foods. The price of the seafood are always hidden on the menu and they never tell you the real weight of the food just swipe your card for much higher price than what it should be. Their food is not clean. My whole family had diarrhea after eating at this restaurant. Please, some government officers need to go to this restaurant and investigate. Its such a rip off business and their manager is such a dishonest person.

Yelp
Honestly it's so hard to find a good dim sum place these days, but this is a solid option. The standard dim sum dishes are good here. The sui mai is especially good here. Baked BBQ buns are great and the har gow is decent. The sticky rice is good. I'd rather come here than lunasia because their rice wrappers are just too thick for my liking. Everything here was juicy and flavorful. Cons: The rice rolls with shrimp didn't have that good of a sweet soy sauce. The bean curd rolls were just ok. The place is super cramped so you're sitting back to back against other people. Portions are normal and prices are reasonable. I think I'd rate this 3.5 but I'll round up here!

Yelp
It's been ages coming here but every time I come I never get disappointed since this place hands down delivers consistent dim sum on the weekends. It is Christmas afternoon and to avoid the massive line, it's best to come on the second wave of waiting in the afternoon and you will get seated immediately. The hostess provides you a number and calls you in to get seated. The decor has been a bit run down but they did upgrade the main tv screen projector and place is well lit. The place setting and utensils have been upgraded and much better than years ago. I definitely wanted my shua mai variations: fish roe type, and truffle topping. Next is the sweet and spicy braised tofu. The tofu is so tender with the sauce you just crave for more. Spare ribs and meat balls are definite great adds and the fried mochi balls with savory ground meat is just delicious!! Finished it off with the chrysanthemum Jell-O shots and just pleased to finally to take my parents out to eat here after being cooped up from the Covid scare. Will definitely return!
