HAVE: Pork Siumai, Shrimp Hargow, Beef with vegetables, Sauteed bokchoy in garlic sauce, Shrimp fried rice, Sesame balls, Custard (?) bread
TAKE: The food is average in taste, a little bland. The dim sum and beef with vegetables were decent, but nothing to rave about -at least I didn't leave hungry. Overall, if you're looking for a casual meal without high expectations, this restaurant may be worth a try.
Also, we were surprised to find out that the tea setting on our table, which we thought was complimentary, was actually charged at $3.96 for two people. If you're not a tea drinker like us, be sure to let them know right away that you prefer not to have it, to avoid any unexpected charges.
SERVICE: It seemed like there wasn't a specific server assigned to each table. Instead, you had to call them over whenever you needed something, whether it was to place an order, get utensils, or ask for sauces. After they brought out the food, no one really checked on us, so if we needed anything else, we had to search for an available server and call them over.
The restaurant was busy, and the staff seemed preoccupied. Most of them did not have a smile on their face, except for one male server who was more receptive, unfortunately I didn't catch his name. It would be nice to see all staff members smiling and cheerful to create a more welcoming environment for customers.
AMBIANCE: Upon entering the restaurant, there was a noticeable fishy smell in the small hallways leading to the dining area, likely due to the nearby aquarium where live seafood was kept. Additionally, the tables were placed closely together, which may have made the dining area feel a bit cramped. The environment could have been cleaner to improve the overall dining experience.
