Google
Very good hot pot for the price range. All the items we had, we found to be fairly good quality. While waiting for your initial food order, you have the option to go pick at the snack bar and there are some juicy options over there including lamb spine! There were loads of people just stacking the lamb spine on their plates. You’re limited on how many orders of the premium meats but honestly we found it more than enough for our needs. The non-premium meats were pretty good too and not to be overlooked. The only gripe we had was the service could use some work. Our waitress took our initial order and then never actually put it in so we were waiting for nothing for a while before she realized her mistake. Other than that small hiccup, we had a good time and we are looking forward to returning again soon. There’s two menus you can order from and the pricier one is honestly fairly priced so we didn’t see any reason not to order the higher one.

Tried a new hot pot place and we were pleasantly surprised! We got the lowest tier, the “happy” tier, to try it out and I think that was already really good. I really enjoyed the beef toro and basically just kept ordering that. We got both the original marrow broth and the spicy marrow broth. I didn’t really like any of the fish cake they had but that’s fine since they had bokchoy and crab meat which is all I need. They also have a sauce area and cooked food area.

Happy Little Lamb just opened, and it’s definitely worth a try. The service was excellent, and all the ingredients were fresh and high quality. Their ingredient selection area is similar to the popular mix-and-match hot pot or malatang places, with a wide variety of fresh options. I tried their house-made lemon water—very refreshing and worth a try. A pleasant surprise was the small dish area, which included lamb spine stew and several classic homestyle dishes—great for group gatherings since there’s something for everyone. Every table also gets a roasted lamb leg, which was a highlight. Since they just opened, I really hope they can continue to maintain this level of service and quality.

Google
Strong lamb smell when you walk in, but I didn't mind it. Decent selection of all you can eat veggies and meats. I heard drinks were $2.50 extra though. We were waiting for rice, but the waiter told us the rice cooker broke down halfway through cooking so we didn't get to have some rice. Anyway, big portions of the meats and they were good. Something gave me diarrhea though.

Wow! Happy Lamb in Huntington Beach is an absolute gem! If you love hot pot, it is a MUST! From the moment we walked in, the General Manager, Johnson, made us feel incredibly welcome – such genuine hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. The service throughout our meal was exceptional; attentive, friendly, and prompt. And the food? Absolutely top-notch! All you can eat can sometimes comprise quality but NOT at Happy Lamb! Their rich broths and premium meats were fresh and of the highest quality. We were stuffed by the end of it – in the best way possible! Happy Lamb has definitely earned a full five stars from us. We can't wait to go back. Bring your appetite!

Today was my first time trying this restaurant. To be fair, the environment was quite nice and felt very clean. However, when I went to the fresh food section, the fish and shrimp had a very strong fishy smell, which completely put me off from eating any seafood. The soup base was also disappointing — both the spicy and the plain broths had nothing but a salty taste, without any fragrance or depth of flavor. It was honestly the worst hotpot broth I’ve had in Los Angeles. We chose the most basic set, but the beef was extremely fatty and the portion was quite small. The sesame sauce in the condiment station was also overly salty, so the entire meal just felt like an endless wave of saltiness. As for the service, no one refilled our water the whole time. Since it’s self-service, we had trouble finding a server when we wanted more meat, but as soon as it was time to pay, the staff suddenly became very attentive.

Google
Nice new Hot Pot place. Good selection of other meats, seafood, veggies, sauces and condiments. Choose broth, pick meats and then get your veggies. We like d the split pot of broth. Bring your stretchy pants!!! :)

Google
I came here not knowing it was an all-you-can-eat hot pot, and what a pleasant surprise! For the price, it’s an incredible deal. It was very affordable and worth every penny. The quality of the food exceeded expectations. The broths were flavorful and authentic, and you could really taste the depth in them. The meats were fresh, well-sliced, and replenished quickly. There were so many add-ons and sides to choose from, vegetables, noodles, desserts, seafood, and more. They were all tasting great and clearly prepared. There’s a wide range of options, making it perfect whether you're a first-timer or a hot pot lover. Honestly, you could come back several times and still not try everything. The only downside was the service being a bit slow, but to be fair, the place was packed. It’s clearly popular for good reason, and the staff still did their best to stay on top of things. Overall, if you're looking for a satisfying and fun dining experience that won’t break the bank, this place is absolutely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time, with a bigger appetite!

Yelp
Gorgeous please and system is very effective compare with other restaurants, food is very fresh, and the staff is super nice and friendly. My family loves Happy Lamb!

Yelp
Really good value for the food! The service is great and the restaurant is so clean! Apparently they Just opened 3 months ago. The meat quality is really good so you get a lot of value for what you pay for. I really liked the fish and shrimp. Our server, Karen, and the store manager 冬梅姐,were both very attentive and nice! We got the golden cabbage soup broth and original marrow, and they were telling us it's made fresh in house with natural bones and chicken. It was so fragrant, really liked both and would be coming back again.

Yelp
Everything here was so so good. I enjoyed the food so much I forgot to take photos! We got their happy menu, not the happier menu, but I'd love to try their happier lamb menu next time! Their beef toro is my favorite, but the lamb is really good as well. I love their soups as well. I find that at shabu shabu restaurants, usually the soup can be pretty bland, but the soup here is nice and flavorful, without overtaking the taste of the meat. They even have all you can drink for an added fee, and a sauce bar too!

Yelp
After a day of hiking on a mountain, my 5 hungry friends and I were excited to eat some hotpot! Fast and quick service! The crew sat us down almost immediately upon entering. On a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't too packed and the parking/restaurant had lots of space. Crew made us feel super welcome, as at least 3 different servers checked on us. Generous amounts of meat per plate! It was super helpful for our big group of 5 that we didn't need to re-order meat often. Super clean place with a wide buffet selection. From buffet toppings, pre-cooked sides, a sauce bar, and even mantou (Chinese bun) -- they had a wide variety to choose from! I loved the mantous so much. Yummy and would come back!!

Yelp
Food (4.5/5) : The Premium AYCE is $38.99 per person, offering a wider variety of meats and seafood. The Australian Wagyu and lamb shank were great additions. The mussel was okay, the conch slice had a similar texture to ox aorta. And the post-meal ice cream was tasty and a nice touch to end the meal. That said, I do prefer Classic AYCE ($29.99), as the self-serve bar already provides a generous selection of sides and hot dishes (such as fried rice, spring roll, chicken wing, cake, etc). All the soup base are flavorful without being overpowering or overly salty. I recommend getting "Best of Both Worlds," which allow you to select (any) two soup bases in one pot. Perfect for trying out different soup bases and cooking ingredients in suitable broth. - Original Marrow (4.5/5) : The broth is flavorful and rich, featuring strong herbal notes when sipped on its own. While I like to pour myself a few bowls before cooking anything, the herbal flavor may not appeal to everyone. - Spicy Marrow (4.5/5) : Milder than expected, but still effective at getting rid of (some) fishness of seafood. The broth enhances the flavor of mala spicy beef and garlic beef without distorting the original flavor of the soup base. - Mushroom (4/5) : I was expecting a more pronounced mushroom flavor. Ended up finding myself enjoying the original marrow more than the mushroom. It was not bad but nothing stood out in the broth for me to reorder. Ambience (5/5) : The interior is beautifully designed with a soothing brown color palette. The restaurant consists of two dining areas and a self-serving bar. One side is bright, suitable for family outings and friend gatherings. The other was dim with light shining down on your table, putting the hot pot under the spotlight and creating a more romantic vibe. Service (4/5) : Servers were attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. During busy times, foods can take longer to come up, so do request them early. While it can be pricey, the experience justifices it. I've dined here three times in June, and everyone I've brought along has enjoyed their experience. I look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
Happy Lamb Hot Pot is quite new to the City of Industry. I came during dinner time recently and loved it. This is an all-you-can-eat Chinese-style hot pot that has a buffet bar decked out with so many items and they were so delicious! My favorite hot food item was the deep fried chicken wings, stir fried vegetables and also the sauce bar is legit! As the name states it is lamb but they also do carry beef and pork! We got the second tier to try out more meat items which all came out delicious. Loved it and would come back again!! Our server was super nice as well and was quick at ordering our meats. Overall it came out quite quickly and we had a really nice time with the party three! So if you are craving hot pot which I crave all the time, this could be a go-to spot for you.

Yelp
It's good to see a new Mongolian style hot pot in the neighborhood. This place gets pretty packed during peak hours. We came in after lunch rush so no wait for us which was nice. The restaurant itself is spacious and relaxing. The menu was big with good choices of soup bases, meats and seafood. I recommend the higher tier of option if you love seafood. Some of the soup bases are gluten free! They currently not serving alcohol. The beverage bar is unlimited for a fee, the fresh watermelon juice was very refreshing. We enjoyed the Wagyu beef, shrimp paste and tiger shrimps so much. Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. Veggie bar was great but the hot food station didn't look very appetizing. Overall this is a great new Chinese hot pot place that we would come in from time to time!

Yelp
As a frequent patron of the Happy Lamb in Boston's Chinatown (since I work in Boston and occasionally fly home to Rowland Heights), I was pleasantly surprised to see a new location replace the old Romano's Macaroni Grill. Happy Lamb offers a nominally Mongolian-style hot pot, though it's clearly adjusted to suit a Chinese palate. I'm fairly certain this chain either used to be Little Sheep or is somehow related. This is not a Sichuan-style hot pot spot loaded with numbing spice. If you want that, go to Malubianbian, ShangChengLaMeiZi, Haidilao, etc. instead.. So what exactly does Happy Lamb offer? It's AYCE, priced in the upper $20s to $30s depending on the day, with a base tier and an optional upsell tier. I went on a Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. and paid $38.99 per person for the upsell option. Each party is limited to 90 minutes of dining time. The marrow broths, both spicy and non-spicy, are the highlight here. They're rich and herbal, the kind of soup you'd expect from a Cantonese restaurant that simmers its stock for half a day (well maybe they cheated and boosted it, but it's delicious still). The meat selection is clean and well presented. Sliced meats are ordered through the servers, while everything else -- vegetables, meatballs, rice noodles, and more -- is available on self-serve refrigerated shelves. Service here exceeds expectations. The staff are polite, patient, and efficient, with not a hint of disinterest or attitude. Overall, this location perfectly captures what I love about Happy Lamb and makes for a reliable go-to hot pot experience.

Yelp
This place is a new restaurant that just opened up. It is AYCE unlimited hot pot. There are two packages that you can choose from and those packages allow you to order different types of hot pot meat. You can also choose the different suit basis that you want to cook your hot pot in. There is also an open bar where you can get items such as meatballs, vegetables, mushrooms, and put them inside your soup, there's also a sauce bar where you could make a dipping sauce for the meat The service staff here is super nice. This is a family environment, but please be advised that there are hot plates. I came out around 5 PM and there was no weight however when I left, it was a long wait.

Yelp
New hot pot restaurant in the area! It's located in the same plaza as Target, so there's plenty of open spaces for parking. We came very early for dinner so there was plenty of tables open for seating. We were rather a large party of 12 people with 4 kids, so it was best for us to snatch those tables and eat early haha. This location is AYCE and they have their own salad bar in the middle of the restaurant. We ended up choosing the HAPPIER set and we mainly ordered the beef and lamb here. That's basically all you need to be extremely full here. The meat quality here is pretty nice, although, once cooked, I notice they all shrivel up to a small piece of meat. This goes for all their meats, maybe because they're all cut so thinly? but once cooked, the meat just shrivels up sooo much. Otherwise, the ingredients on the sides were nice. The crab sticks, vegetables, etc. Everything was very clean and orderly. I also liked how they had the fish roe ball that I really liked from yintang! I would say all their hot food items are pretty mid though. They taste like they were brought from somewhere else and were just reheated here. So personally, I don't think they really taste that good lol. They also have a soft drink machine and a lemonade station. I found this a bit odd because this was such an American thing to have an expected to have Asian drinks or dessert here haha. Also their ice cream, it doesn't look like the healthiest type of ice cream they have since it includes natural AND artificial ingredients, and it did taste a bit too fake, so that was a turn off for me. Anyways, the meat quality and fresh vegetables & ingredients here are pretty nice. I actually enjoyed the spicy broth from the "Best of Both Worlds" broth, because it had a little fun spice to it. It wasn't even spicy at all. Once you put some ingredients in it, it didn't even look red at all. For the price of this AYCE hot pot, I feel like it's pretty decent to try.

Yelp
I wanted to check out the newly opened Happy Lamb, and it was an interesting experience. I'd say it's a pretty solid option if you're craving hot pot--but not necessarily a mind-blowing one. Ambiance & Service: The atmosphere is bright, modern, and welcoming, which is a big plus. The staff was friendly, though our server didn't check on us often but did take away or dirty plates. Served us water with no ice so I ended up filling the water w ice next to the buffet area. Best to check in to reserve a table on Yelp. Food Quality: The selection of meats, vegetables, and broth options was decent. I was impressed with the variety of proteins, including lamb (obviously), beef, and a good selection of seafood but we didn't care much for the premium and got the regular for $29.99. The vegetables had a great selection compared to other hot pot I've been to. Although some of the side items (like the dipping sauces) could have been more flavorful. Didn't like the sesame sauce but the peanut sauce was good and wish they had refilled more. We got the spicy broth and man, it was spicy! I tried both the spicy. The buffet area was mediocre. Didn't really care for the fried rice, noodles, and meat. The crispy doughnut was good along w the sesame balls! Dessert section of the buffet had fruits and two choices of white or chocolate cake My fav was the iced jelly! For the price, you get a lot of great selection of food, and they have buffet area too!

Yelp
Incredible value and unbeatable quality at the price point. The Basic AYCE is $26 during lunch time and $30 for dinner. We got seated at around 7:45 on a Saturday night and although it was populated, we had no wait for a party of 4. A single table for 4 has one pot to share in the middle where you can do a solo broth or a half and half broth of your choosing. You are able to order 6 meats at a time. To be honest, our party was prioritizing quanity over quality since not many places offer AYCE shabu under $30, but as soon as the plates hit the table (not to mention very quickly), it was already clear that the meat would be very good. Our favorite was the Beef Toro which was super tender, and all the other meats were yummy as well. They also have a pretty extensive sauce bar, even equipped with soy sauce, black vinegar, and sesame oil dispensers which I've never seen before so that was pretty cool haha. They also had all the usual offerings for veggies + sides to throw in your broth plus a buffet bar with yummy stewed meat and some fried options like gyoza. The interior is quite nice, bathrooms are clean, and buffet was restocked quite regularly even approaching closing time. One thing I will note is that, our waiter did not really come by often. For the almost hour and a half that we were there, the waiter checked on us to order meat only once besides the very first order which was like 50 mins later. He also did not refill our waters once the entire meal. I just ended up going to where the waiters get water and filled my own glass haha. Then at the very end of our meal we flagged down a separate waiter to fill our glass. I understand it is soft opening though, and it would be appreciated if kinks with service could be ironed out the next time we come here. The 2 girls at the front were very sweet though! Overall, I think this is a no brainer to at least be included in the running in your group's next shabu cravings if you're around Rowland Heights!

Yelp
Food is really good and we got the Happier/Premium Menu. Both Australian Wagyus were delicious including the Angus Beef and Snakehead Fish. The Wagyu has the perfect amount of fat and meat. They also have a self-serve bar , a sauce bar and a small dessert section. It's nice that in their side bar that they bbq pork which is rare to find in an ayce hotpot. There was also ice cream for the premium menu and it was okay. The staff were nice and friendly. Service was quick with bringing out the meats. However when putting down a name for the waitlist , they said it doesn't work online so it's best to put down a name for a party in-person. Overall the interior is minimal and lux with pretty decorations and comfortable seats. Will definitely come back again!

Yelp
As much as I was really looking forward to dining here, I did not have the experience I was really looking forward to. Food: 3/5 The soup base flavor was good but was a bit salty. The meat quality was good. If you ever had MLBB, I would say it is around the same quality level. The vegetables were a bit of an issue. Although they looked fresh, there was a bit of a chemical taste of them. Specifically the bok choy. Service: 4/5 The service was great but it lost a star because we didn't get our soup base until much later because they forgot to put the order in. Other than that it was fine. Ambience: 5/5 It is exactly what you should expect from a freshly opened up restaurant. Clean and bright. Not sure if I would come again given the many other hotpots in the area but it was worth a try.

Yelp
Great spot for Ayce chinese hot pot! It's in the same plaza as Target and Ross so there's a lot of parking. It looks like this location recently opened. I came on a Friday night around 7:30 and it was about a 20 minute wait for 7 people. The inside was really nice, clean, and fairly large. They can also seat larger parties. There's two menu to choose from: * Happy $29.99 * Happier premium $38.99 We went with the happier menu which comes with Australian wagyu blade and beef brisket, a crispy baked lamb shank (these three items are limited), mussels, house shrimp paste, and some other meat selection. They have 5 different soup base options and you can choose one or two. You order the meat with the server and get your side items at the buffet bar. They have a great selection of veggies and fish balls. They also have a lot more options to make your own sauces compared to other hot pot places. Also enjoyed the fried milk buns with condense milk and fried sesame balls at the buffet bar. Unlimited refills on soft drinks for $2.50 per person. The service was also amazing and several people checked up on us to make sure we received all our items. Very attentive and definitely was a great experience for our first time. Overall, would definitely come back and worth it for the price.

Yelp
Soft opening- great service The server was very nice and took the time to explain their soft opening menu Ambiance is well lit modern and clean Food had a decent selection for hot food and the one you put in hot pot We order the $38.99 that comes with 1 per table lamb leg. It pretty good and a good size portion - For an all you can eat hot pot I gotta say their meat is also pretty tender and good quality. The best part is the ice cream is the tasty ones not the knock off one. I got lucky our server gives us both chocolate and vanilla. If they can make the ice cream all you can eat too I'll probably go for third round of chocolate as it was very rich and creamy.
google avatar

Angel W.

Yelp
Clean/spacious inside, great service, and plenty of food choices! Some hot food included (egg rolls, sesame balls, chicken wings, fried milk buns, etc.) as well as a whole sauce station, and area of hot pot items (veggies, tofu, etc). A couple of cakes and fruits but honestly don't bother with the cakes. Happier menu comes with ice cream (chocolate or vanilla). Overall it was a good experience and the food quality was good. The restaurant was really cold so definitely take a sweater!

Yelp
We had our Father's Day dinner at Happy Lamb Hotpot, and it was hands down one of the best AYCE hotpot spots in town! We made a reservation for a large party--9 adults and 2 toddlers--and they kindly reserved a private room for us. The place has been recently remodeled, with stylish, modern décor and strong AC (a must when you're surrounded by boiling hotpots!). The setup is a nice combo: meat and seafood are ordered through servers, while the self-serve bar offers veggies, noodles, sauces, and more. There's also an all-you-can-drink option for just $2-$3 per person, which is a great value. We went with the "Happier" menu, which includes two full lamb legs plus a wider meat selection--and it did not disappoint! Even though the wagyu beef option is limited to two plates per person, we didn't even end up using our full quota. The quality and portion sizes were more than enough. They also have a large seafood selection and various specialty cuts for hotpot, along with a cooked food station featuring stir-fried lamb and other dishes--perfect for lamb lovers like us. To top it off, we got lucky and won the "two eat free" prize from their opening promo wheel--what a fun surprise and definitely made the meal feel even more worth it! Our server Karen was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and so helpful with everything from arranging cake cutting to taking group photos. Huge thanks to her for making the night even more special. If you love hotpot (especially lamb), this is a spot you'll want to return to. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Returned for dinner to give Happy Lamb Hot Pot another shot -- and wow, what a difference this time! We went with the golden cabbage soup and mushroom broth. Neither was overly salty, though the cabbage one was pretty spicy for me -- but my husband enjoyed it. They were still out of the chicken I wanted, but honestly, everything else made up for it. The fried chicken was fantastic, the wagyu was incredibly tender, and the coffee cake was delicious. Service was great on our first visit, and somehow even better this time. The ambiance still feels new-- fresh, clean, and welcoming. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the much-improved experience!

Yelp
I very much enjoyed my experience at this new AYCE hot pot place. Because this restaurant is fairly new, I didn't have high high expectations. Every time that I've visited a new restaurant, there were always issues with service, how fast the food came out, etc. HAPPY LAMB however, has been the first to prove me wrong. When walking in - I was greeted by a staff full of smiles. We were seated within two minutes. And our order was taken within five. The food came out extremely quick and the meat quality was great. There are two options for all you can eat the happy tier (28.99$) & the happier tier (38.99$). I splurged for the happier tier for the Wagyu and seafood - so worth it!! There is an all you can eat self serve veggie and drink bar too. After you order and pick up all the veggies, the meat and soup is ready to go at your table. The service here was extremely positive. Our server, Hubert, really went out of his way to make sure that our experience was nothing less than great. He always checked in, was always smiling, and insured that our table always had meat ready for us! I always come to the restaurant for the food, but I always come back when the service is exceptional! Thank you Hubert! We appreciate you! Lastly - this isn't something that I normally mention. BUT - the cleanliness/hygiene of the restaurant and restroom was pristine and clean. A huge thank you to the staff for the maintenance. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.

Yelp
They have their own parking lot. Came here on a Thursday for lunch. Service was okay. Got the happier set. Environment is clean and chill. Selection was okay. Meat was good.

Yelp
Best Chinese hot pot All you can eat vegetables, side dishes, deserts and drinks. Best quality of beef, lambs and sea food. $36.9/person for lunch and $39.9/person for dinner. Bring your empty stomach and enjoy all you can eat!

Yelp
So happy to have finally tried the actual hot pot place after only having their soups through the packages sold in the markets. This did not disappoint and it impressed me instead with how much food there was. The regular menu was already really stacked with options and you can go get as much side dishes and hot pot add-ons as you like on top of that. The portions of meat they provided were also large that we only ended up ordering just one more plate of meat. Our table was so full. The soups were delicious and not too salty. We got the golden cabbage and spicy marrow. Overall this is one of the best AYCE hotpot places I've gone to and would go back to again and again.

Yelp
The food is good and the service is okay. Maybe when you go there when their super busy is normal to wait on service certain amount of time. I've been here twice already. Just don't like their water down full of oil satay sauce. I think next time I'll go. I'll bring my own sauce.
google avatar

Yelp
If I could give half a star, I would. I had been looking forward to trying this place for a long time since it's a local spot. I finally got the chance to visit, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. I was seated at 9:24 PM and had just placed my first order when I was told it was already last call. I explained I had just sat down, but it didn't seem to matter. I went to the bar, got my first drink, and returned at 9:39--only to find everything already taken away. I came in excited and left frustrated. Definitely not the experience I hoped for.

Yelp
Food: 5 the meats were brought out fresh and neat! The AYCE bar was tidy with plenty of options! I don't think they have a beer/wine/liquor license yet. Service: 5 service was pretty decent considering this place is relatively new. Could be checked on more frequently, but it was getting busier for lunch hour. Ambiance: 5 clean bright new interior design! Music was vibin

Yelp
Happy Lamb is one of my new favorite AYCE hotpot places. Came here to celebrate Mother's Day with my family, and we ordered the "Happier" option. The meat quality on the wagyu was amazing, one of the best I've had at an AYCE place. They also had a really nice seafood bar, desserts, snacks, and attentive staff. Each time we ordered more food, it arrived in less than 10 minutes. I am impressed by the quality of the restaurant so far, and if they keep this up, I expect this place to be packed all the time!

Yelp
They opened last week I believe, I was told they are still in their "Soft Opening" as of 5/4/25. We picked the Happy Selection. Service was good. Because they are still new, we noticed the signage on the sauce bar/hot pot ingredients some were incorrect...like people moved it. They also have soft drinks area which is $2.50 additional. We came here because it's new, and driven by here and waiting for it to open. For me and my hubby...we are more Meat lovers than Lamb however, so there are more lamb choices. Only minus is their Lamb Shank...it was dry and gamey. And near the end, their air conditioning was turned on so high, we were freezing, but they finally turn it down. Love the atmosphere here...it's like fall autumn colors. Oh! Because it's new, they don't know the time limit yet.

Yelp
This location just opened a few days. Huge parking lot for the plaza so finding parking shouldn't be a problem. We came around 530 PM and the wait line was about half an hour to 45 minutes. The light setting is bright along with bright color furniture and seats and some flowers here and there made the ambiance comfortable and gives positive vibe. This place is big so they can take in alot of people but it does get a little loud from time to time from people talking. The price is fairly decent. 2 options: happy ( $29.99 ) and happier ( $38.99 ). The happier option has more lamb options, more quality beef and seafood options. We got the basic "happy" option which its enough for us. There beef, lamb, garlic beef, spicy beef, pork and a couple of seafood option which you can get those at the side dishes ayce bar. They have 5? Hot pot broth options, we got the original marrow and spicy marrow broth. The spicy marrow wasn't that spicy which it was perfect for me but you can tell the server to add more spice to it. Their meat have great quality especially the regular beef and pork. No need to dip any sauce and you can taste the richness of the soup along with the meat. The side dishes bar have many options however it does got a little messy and it's understandable because people come and go to grab different food. They have cooked food as well and dessert ( chocolate cake and coconut cake ) Overall, this is a good new hotpot place thats not expensive but keep in mind the wait can be long.

Yelp
We went during their soft opening on today (Sunday) and wow the service was excellent and the meat and veggie selection was very fresh!! The staff was so incredibly considerate the fact we had a stroller and a toddler. They seated us in a spacious area and they were so caring!! We were frequently checked in on and everyone was very friendly and courteous!! Meat selection was very fresh. The egg rolled and fried chicken wings were delicious!! I do have to say the soft drink policy was a little odd and the cakes were very dry. Other than that everything was excellent!! Beautiful decor and so clean!! We would definitely return!! 5 stars!!

Yelp
Our new favorite hot spot in Rowland! The self serve sauce, appetizer & veggie bar is clean, fresh, and has lots of variety. Their fried wings are AMAZING and super crispy. The price is reasonable for AYCE and the meat quality is top tier. I normally don't eat lamb because of how gamey it is, but here it's not game and I actually enjoy eating the sliced lamb. We are obsessed with their unique lemonade. It's not too sweet (best Asian compliment) and their kumquat flavor is so refreshing and pairs perfectly with our hotpot. The staff are attentive and friendly. We also like the interior design of the restaurant. Very modern and clean.

Yelp
I've been waiting for months for this place to open. It was definitely worth the wait. AYCE hotpot plus quality meat and seafood. The restaurant is clean and the servers are friendly.

Yelp
Got the premium menu, it was great i suggest the top two waygus and keep getting those . They have a huge variety of things that you can grab on your own, chicken wings, rice, and all your hot pot goodies. Service was great and indoor seating is pretty classy with nice lighting!

Yelp
Updating my review! I was finally to come in for dinner with my boyfriend and my parents. Everyone was very happy with the service, food, and ambiance. They have a great selection of high quality meats for the premium AYCE and a large selection of hot foods and hot pot items at the bar. The fried chicken wings were really good and kept running out! Drinks were also good but note they are an additional $2.50/person. The only critique I have is that I wish they had better ice cream! Overall, we are excited to come back!

Yelp
Came here to celebrate Mother's Day for dinner. We made reservations so there's no wait. We ordered the more expensive version and the meat quality was very good. Beef is very tender and lots of selection. Some of the selections are interesting that I haven't seen at other hot pot restaurants. They also have a great selection of cooked foods, sauces and vegetables! Highly recommended! They give all moms flowers and gift for Mother's Day, which is a nice touch!

Yelp
I came during their soft opening phase so I understand they are still working out the kinks. I hope to come back and update this review when they have their grand opening and hopefully there will be improvements. Food - 3.5/5 - The soup bases were really good but a bit on the saltier side, which I don't mind. The meat quality is there and they refilled the options at the self serve bars quite quickly. The hot foods were a bit messy. The cold foods bar was mixed with the desserts which was a bit weird. Overall, the experience was alright. Price - $$ - AYCE for the basic tier at $30 per person is not bad. I don't think the premium tier is the most worth it at the price point unless you eat a LOT. Service - 1/5 - This is the main reason for my 1 star review. I really hope that they are able to improve this because it is such an important component of a restaurant experience. The first thing that went wrong was the yelp waitlist system. It was set up online and when I came to check in at the counter, they told me that there was no online waitlist and to sign up on the physical waitlist there. I showed the girl the waitlist on yelp and she told me "no we don't have that". I was rather confused seeing as I was clearly showing her the yelp waitlist. Another girl then explained that they were not provided the gear for the waitlist and so they had no access to it although it is set up online. Ok, that's fine. But a proper explanation should have been given rather than just turning people away. I wrote my name down on the physical waitlist and asked how long the wait would be. I was ignored. I tried again and asked the girls working the front how long the wait would be and they just walked away from me. I understand that things are a bit hectic but the lack of attentiveness continued at the front desk as more people asked about the wait and was ignored until someone loudly asked and she said about 30 mins. When they finally called my name and confirmed my last 4 digits of my phone number, she asked if my full party was there. It was. So she told me the server would bring us in next after she came back from bringing the previous party in. The server comes back and the girl calls the party after us up and brings them in, completely skipping my party and forgetting about us right after she had just told us we were next. I was standing right in front of her and had not moved from there since she said we were next. She continued to call the next group after that and I asked her how long much longer it would be and she confirmed my party again and realized she crossed us off but had forgotten us. She didn't say anything and just instructed another server to bring us in. No apology for telling us we were next and seating 2 parties who were after us, before us and leaving us hanging. The lack of organization was really disappointing. During our meal, when we were ordering soup bases, I was asked if I wanted water and I said yes. I never got the water. I tried to be patient and wait, but I had to flag someone down half way through our meal to finally ask for water. No one really checked in on us and it was difficult to flag people down. But they were really good at refilling the soup. Ambiance - 4/5 - The atmosphere was lively and the decor was nice and more modern. I found it to be really nice for friends and family. Location - 4/5 - lots of parking since it shares with a large plaza. It does get crowded though due to the other establishments, so be prepared you may need to park further and walk to the restaurant. ____________________ **Note: Location rating does not affect yelp review, this is just for informative purposes of other patrons only.

Yelp
A new gem in town! Happy Lamb City is officially my new go-to spot. The food was absolutely scrumptious and full of flavor, and the atmosphere made it even better--warm, welcoming, and modern. The staff were some of the friendliest and most attentive I've ever encountered. Big shoutout to Francisco, who made sure our table was always taken care of! We had the Happy Menu for 3, which comes with access to the buffet and two broths of your choice. We went with the spicy and regular chicken broths, and both were incredible--rich, flavorful, and perfect for hot pot. The meat selection was generous and high quality, and there are veggie broths as well for plant-based folks. The buffet has something for everyone: fried or white rice, seasoned veggies, fish, BBQ pork, chicken wings, soups, sauces, dips, condiments, and even desserts like mini cakes. Drinks include Pepsi, water, kombucha, homemade lemonade, watermelon-strawberry juice, and more. Whether you're into meat, chicken, pescatarian, or vegetarian options, this place has you covered. It's great for dinner with friends or even a first date. I'll definitely be back--so happy to have discovered this spot!

Yelp
Happy Lamb hot pot recently opened in city of industry close to target. Price starts at $30 for AYCE with higher tier of meat selections. $2 charge for drinks. Waitress and staff was nice a friendly. Inside was clean and new. Mongolian style broth with ying yang. Broth lots of flavor. Meat was fresh and solid. Overall very solid place for Ayce hotpot. Similar to most happy lamb hot pot and the old Mongolian sheep hotpot that was open before Covid. I'll be back again.

Yelp
The buffet is awesome. The one place you go to when you are craving lamb. I will say go for the happier if you have extra money. But not necessarily

Yelp
Three stars because food was good and this place is really nicely decorated. We didn't have to wait at all since we came on a Tuesday night but they were definitely understaffed because we had to flag someone down to order more stuff. Our meat never came out so we were just eating cold dishes, appetizers, and vegetables. Ingredients were super fresh and broth was flavorful. I took off two stars because meat took forever to come out. I also disliked how they don't list the prices and you have to ask for it. I also got a fountain drink and then was told after that it's an extra $2. If the fountain drink is out in the buffet, then there shouldn't be extra costs. I'd probably come back because food was delicious but prices need to be more transparent.

Yelp
Came in before the dinner rush on a Thursday. The menu is simple and they have a lot of options in the self serve bar. The waitresses we had, Isabell and Karen, were very nice and attentive. They came around often, clearing plates and checking on us. The place is very clean compared to other nearby ayce hot pot places with modern ambiance. I'd come back

Yelp
Went on Friday 4/25 for their soft opening and had a great experience. The employees were all so nice and very attentive. They explained how everything worked, patiently answered our questions, and checked up on us quite often. I LOVE Mongolian soup bases and this one was on point. It had a rich depth of flavor with a nice punch of spiciness without numbing your mouth like you would experience with some Mala style soup bases. The broth is on the oily/fattier side, but they are known for their 8hr bone marrow broth so that is to be expected. They had a wide selection of very fresh veggies and proteins to choose from, including my favorite options like fish tofu, fresh shrimp paste, and chrysanthemum greens. The meat quality was great for the price point. They offer a variety of beef, chicken, lamb, fish, shrimp, clams, and muscles. They also have a variety of prepared hot foods as well such as fried rice, fried chicken wings, and pork belly (looked like Char siu style). Dessert options were not great, but they do give you free pre-packaged ice cream with the higher menu option which was tasty. Other than their golden fried sweet bao buns, their prepared hot foods were just ok for me, but I was there for the hotpot so this would not deter me from returning. Their clams and muscles did not look fresh so I didn't try those. All in all, I highly recommend trying this place out. It was so good, I'm craving it 2 days later as I am writing this review.

Yelp
Worth the Wait - Great Hotpot and Even Better Service! I've been waiting for Happy Lamb to open for almost a year now. I'd often drive by and see the "coming soon" sign, wondering when I'd finally get to try it. Just a couple of days ago, a friend told me they were in soft opening, so I didn't hesitate to go check it out--and I'm so glad I did! Happy Lamb is an all-you-can-eat hotpot restaurant, with the most expensive option around $40. Honestly, for the quality of food they offer, it's more than worth it--especially if you're a beef lover. The meat was fresh and flavorful, and the overall food selection was impressive. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. While it was clear that some of the staff were new and still getting used to things, they were all eager to help and very responsive to customer needs. One staff member in particular, Leo, deserves special recognition. From the moment I arrived, Leo was professional, welcoming, and incredibly patient--even when I had a bunch of questions. Despite the restaurant being clearly understaffed during a busy period, Leo never missed a beat. He was constantly checking in, offering assistance, and making sure everyone felt taken care of. That kind of attitude and service is rare these days, and it made a lasting impression on me. I'll definitely be back--not just for the great food, but because the staff, especially Leo, made the whole experience warm and enjoyable. Happy Lamb is off to a great start!
