Great store overall! Their boba is a little pricey but the stores has great spacious vibes with music going too. The workers are kind and helpful answering questions and helping you customize. Definitely customize your ice because they give you a lot.

What I like most about Happy Lemon is how they keep the same high quality standards across their many stores, so you’ll never be disappointed in a drink you’ve had before when you order it and you know exactly what you’re getting. The drinks are made perfectly to your specifications regarding ice, sugar, and toppings. The employees are all well trained in the entire menu and the drinks always come out looking like the pictures on the menu. My favorite drink is the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk w/ Boba because of how good they make it compared to other Boba stores where often the brown sugar is not properly striped into the milk, so it just ends up like a single opaque blob.

Our waffle was fresh and sweet and the tea solid. Nice option for the area.

I can always count on Happy Lemon for a refreshing, delicious drink and treat! Always consistent and good. My go to’s: for sweet drinks the ube milk tea or winter melon fresh mjlk teas are delicious. For more sour I love the kumquat ginger lemon tea or the strawberry black tea. So refreshing! Don’t miss the bubble waffles with Oreo cream dip for a treat

I got the brown sugar fresh milk with boba and regretted it 😭 It was basically milk with sugar and was too sweet. I should have gotten original milk tea or some fruit tea. The bubble waffle is ok. Kind of tasted like it was undercooked tho so I don’t think I will get it again. They are very busy and don’t have a good system for making sure people are getting correct orders. I was waiting and it ended up that someone had taken my drink so they had to remake it but they remade it with 100% sweetness instead of 50% that I ordered. If you are a boba lover, I recommend going to places in University District instead (Timeless or Macu are good imo)

Long-time boba tea drinker here and I have only just discovered the bubble waffle! My wife and I were at University Village and feeling peckish from running errands. Dinner time was still a few hours away and we wanted a quick bite. The Happy Lemon caught our eye and we were intrigued by the bubble waffle, which seemed to suggest a different taste sensation than regular waffles. We ordered the original bubble waffle and two boba drinks. The waffle was really good, with a crispy shell and soft interior, and much lighter than a regular waffle since it’s bubble-shaped and hollow inside. It came with a sweet creamy dipping sauce, which complemented it very nicely. The boba drinks were very good as well. We were very pleased to discover the Happy Lemon and will definitely be back. And I will try the memo pancake next time!

Happy Lemon has incredible drinks! I also really love the wheelcakes they're selling right now. Both the original custard and the matcha red bean cakes are delicious! The line can get long, so I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're in a rush.

I was shopping with a friend in U Village, and we needed a cold drink. I got Mango Lemonade, my friend got the new Fresh Squeezed Lemon Tea. The Mango Lemonade was good, I went with 50% sweetness that was right for me. My friend said the flavor of her tea was very mild.

Most expensive Boba at 9$ Got the Taro milk tea with boba n lychee jelly at regular sweetness. Regular sweet is very sweet so go with 70% option. Usual boba tea places come to around $6 with boba but any topping is extra. At base you just get Taro milk tea which is crazy!

Happy Lemon is kind of expensive, but I think their drinks are really delicious. I usually get A11 which is the Ube fresh milk with taro Boba and this time, I tried 50% sugar and 50% ice. I honestly think that you can go with full sugar because it was very "not sweet" but it was still good to get the full flavor of both taro and Ube from the cream. I really like the fresh taro balls which are softer than regular Boba. It was super chewy and this is the only drink I get here! Ordering was really quick and we got our drink within two minutes since it was pretty empty. It also smells heavenly in store because of all the bubble waffles.

I loved the Ube milk tea with Taro ball! The taro ball was like moch; soft and chewy. I liked that the taro ball was unique and softer than other boba. We went about half an hour before the closing time, so it wasn't too crowded. The chairs were already collapsed for the closure time, so we felt the pressure to leave soon. But we understood. Overall, a good experience!

The service was friendly and fast, and the drinks were super good and tasty. Highly recommended in this summer. Stay hydrated :)

I've been here many times and have tried a variety of drinks, but this time I got the strawberry black tea with lychee jelly (30% sugar) and a chocolate bubble waffle. Both were delicious and not too sweet. Service is quick and the ambiance is casual with plenty of seating

Its my favourite boba place with ny favourite drinks from the menu! Mango matcha smoothie is a must try and the bubble waffle is also super yummy! The service is super fast and the ambiance is really good.

I'm pretty familiar with this bubble tea spot back from NYC, so this takes me back! This one seems to be in a really busy location but the line moves fast. It was the first time seeing an Ube Bubble Tea for me, so I knew I had to try it. We ordered 50% ice and 50% sugar but it was still just a tad too sweet for us personally - but the Ube flavor was pretty decent and it was a unique option overall. I really like that they have many varieties of flavor to choose from..there's something for everyone! I was also not aware that they had Bubble Waffles! Now, I would come back for just for those waffles because they were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside with the right amount of sweetness. For your convenience, it comes in an adorable paper pouch - perfect for munching on the go!

Happy Lemon has solid milk tea options - plus Bubble waffles! Cute branding and storefront at u village. Ordering was easy and staff were really cranking out everyone's orders. We didn't have to wait too long even though it was fairly busy. With their beverages, you can customize ice and sweetness levels which is much appreciated. I got the classic milk tea with boba at 30% sweetness and was happy with it. The chocolate bubble waffle was good too. Worth a stop if you're in the area and need a treat!

Disclaimer: I only came to try the wheel cake It wasn't good. The shell pieces were cold despite me actively waiting, and the pastry wasn't sealed together at all-- the moment you bite into it the filling came out the other side. A huge disappointment. (Not rating it the one star it is because I doubt most people come for this.)

Ordered Togo boba today while I was on call and have to say that the milk tea with boba, pudding and lychee jelly that I got was really good! The sweetness was just right and the boba was very chewy and soft! Definitely would recommend this place if you are craving boba!

A great bubble tea shop! Would highly recommend their strawberry jasmine tea, looks like they use real strawberries in their strawberry syrup so it tastes very yummy, with lots of strawberry chunks in them. My order was done pretty quickly, but they can be pretty busy just so you know. Great spot!

I ordered the roasted Hokkaido milk tea hot and it was great. I would definitely stop by next time I'm shopping at uvill again.

This is a review for one of the desserts and not for the drinks. I was drawn in by the ad for the wheel cake. When I got it, it didn't look like the photo and it certainly did not taste good. The exterior tasted gummy and flavorless and the cream was nothing special. I would not recommend that item unfortunately. The workers were nice and it came out fairly quick.

We visit this spot almost religiously whenever we're in UVillage. We get something a little different every time, but always a drink and a bubble waffle. Fun fact -- you can split the flavors on the waffles to be half and half if you're indecisive or sharing. Honestly, one drink per person is a whole lot and splitting them between two people feels a little more manageable. Great service and we run into familiar student faces working occasionally!

Always a fun treat but good grief they are so inefficient here, resulting in long lines and unnecessary wait. Like I git my drink and almost finished it before they even started making my bubble waffle (which takes a while), because the gal was so slowly filling little cups with salted cheese. Like why not put the batter in and then continue with filling the cups. And why not use a little mini ice cream scooper to fill the cups instead of a teaspoon. Anyway, fun treat but slow.

Happy Lemon is such a fun, unique, place to get a treat! The bubble waffles are delicious- I've tried both the Oreo and Original, and they both are winners. Bubble Tea from here has all been good. Most recently I tried the Hokkaido milk tea with tapioca, which I especially liked.

Personally found the bubble milk tea a little to sweet but was surprised by how good the matcha egg waffle was. While skeptical at first, the matcha flavor goes really well with the egg waffle and I'll definitely have it again! Staff were very friendly & our drinks were ready in no time. Also love the posters & deco in the shop - very bright and cute!

I Used to love the food there and went with my family all the time , the thing that made me want to stop going here is the staff, one late night I wanted to get a drink with my husband and I only had cash on me I tried to order but they said they stopped taking cash even though they were counting cash Infront of me and had the register literally open. I told the lady That the only thing I had was cash and she Responded in an Annoyed tone that They weren't taking cash. So this joint is Run by sloppy college kids with an attitude.

Craving boba? Come to happy lemon where you can get bubble waffles (not pictured) and boba! Happy lemon is known for their bubble waffles and cheese foam drinks. I wasn't feeling like having a cheese foam drink so instead, I got a regular boba milk tea. Perfect way to end the day shopping at Uvillage. There's also tons of seating inside.

Hands down, the best spot for Matcha Latte in the Seattle area. Creamy, perfectly balanced sweetness, and that hint of matcha goodness is *chef's kiss*. I came back for another one the next day. Definitely recommended!

I came here with my little brothers while they were visiting and the staff was very helpful. The line was super long, but the staff took the time to answer all my questions. Since my brother is heavily allergic to milk they made our drinks with almond milk. Overall great ambience and clean tables.

Very nice/friendly staff. Fast service and tasty bubble waffles! The seating area was also very clean.

There's a matcha latte with strawberry and I just requested no strawberry. She said the drink was not possible to make.... but I've had it before and felt she just didn't want to make the drink. No apologies just a flat out, "not possible". You can checkout my other Happy Lemon review for reference. My friend got the drink and it's just strawberry jam at the bottom.... I don't understand why I couldn't have had the drink. I didn't want a discount and I would even pay for boba if it was portion they were concerned about. This is also the loudest Happy Lemon I've ever been to, and dirtiest. The chairs were scattered on the left side toward the register with dirty tables. It felt like when you go to a public restroom and are unsure which dirty stall you'll settle with. Nobody could hear the cashier over the music in there, had to constantly lean over the register and ask for her to repeat. Just realized that the hours listed are till 9:30, there is no reason why the staff needed to put the chairs upside down on the tables like they were closing. They weren't closing, and we left because we thought we were being rude just by coming in late. On the way out, the rug caught on the door because it was misplaced. We had to close the door and physically move the large rug to exit. As someone who has been to all the Happy Lemon locations, I would just recommend a different location entirely.

We love bubble waffles, especially from happy lemon! Crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside! We got the oreo flavored one and also got the oreo sea salt dipping on the side? (I think thats what it's called) best believe nothing went to waste! Lol Lots of seating inside! It's located at U Village and very easy to find. I have tried plenty of Happy Lemons in my life and it never disappoints.

First time trying happy lemon. That's only cuz everytime I happened to pass by their other locations, the line was simply too long and no way I was waiting up for just waffles and bubble tea. Today, it was fast and sweet. I did enjoy the chocolate waffle and mango matcha smoothie. It's cute place and they have good snacks. I think it could be a good place to check out with friends or a date.

So refreshing after shopping around U Village! My favorite drink from their menu is the strawberry shortcake smoothie; it's very sweet but not too overwhelming. Their inside seating is neat and clean.

I ordered four drinks from this restaurant and they put it into this bag with cupholders on top of it, and then I carried it, and I noticed that the bag was a little wet, but I already left the store so I was just holding it from the handle and on the bottom and then I rode a bicycle with a little basket and I put the drinks there but once I got off, not even 10 seconds of me picking up the bag the bag literally ripped all my drinks spilled and broke, and it was a mess and my first instinct was to call the people in the store and told them that the bag was wet underneath and it ripped because I I felt that it was their fault because all the cups were sealed, and the bag was the only thing what so it must've been from their side and I told them and explained and they said they couldn't do nothing about it once I left the store and I get that so I askedonline for their customer service and they still haven't responded to me or

Cut my thrust definitely. Outdoor mall vibe chilling atmosphere, watching shoppers gawk. "Light sweet" choice was perfect. Glad that businesses are realizing ppl's tastebuds/preferences are different to be able to choose! Now that's for glucose sake. How about sodium levels, too, please.

Of all the boba places in and around UW this one was my favorite! I liked the brightness and am partial to fruit over milk tea so their lemon series captured my heart. Kumquat lemon jasmine green tea was also super yummy. Nice and tart! Forgot to take a pic of the chocolate bubble waffle and chocolate Oreo memo pancake!! Both were crispy, chewy and a wonderful snack! It is also really clean inside this store - more so than the places you see on the Ave. Probably because it's in a fancy mall too.

My personal favorite is the pomelo (grapefruit) green tea, little ice, 30% sweet. Also enjoy the milk teas as well! Drinks are not too sweet, and you can customize the level of sweetness you prefer. Bubble waffles are made fresh and piping hot, perfectly chewy. Bubble waffle flavors include original, chocolate, matcha and Oreo. Especially love the original, Oreo and matcha waffles - the perfect treat while shopping U Village! Bubble waffles take longer to make, so be prepared to wait at least 10-15 minutes.

This place is always bustling, but the service is really fast. There are lots of round tables inside that are good for 2-4 people each. I always get the milk tea boba with lychee/boba/pudding-- their boba is so good!

When Happy Lemon first opened, it was the only good bubble tea place in SLU. Definitely a much welcomed addition to the neighborhood, and I'm a little sad I moved away (though I'm sure my wallet is better off). Their drinks can get pretty expensive and often run $7 or so for one drink after everything is included. I do wish there were more sizes offered besides large, which honestly is huge and usually lasts me two days. The bubble waffles are quite tasty, and I do recommend the salted cream dip!

Happy Lemon is such a cute boba shop! I love that you're instantly greeted with the aroma of their signature bubble waffles as soon as you step inside. I ordered their fresh lemon honey jasmine green tea with light ice and light sugar and the jasmine boba milk tea. To be honest, I feel like their tea to water ratio is a bit off and you can barely taste the tea fragrance. Even though I was able to customize the sugar level to almost 0%, it still tasted extremely sweet for my palate. It's like I was drinking sugar lemon flavored water (aka lemonade) rather than jasmine tea. Their boba also didn't taste that fresh today as it was super hard when I chewed down. When I order tea from a boba tea shop, I'm expecting for it to taste like tea, and I also expect it to be pungent and aromatic if that makes sense.

Was being dragged around uvillage when I caught a glimpse of wheel cakes being auctioned off, I was so excite to get my grimy hands on one that I instantly threw my credit card at them and I obtained wheel cake. Once I sat on the ground outside I took a mega bite and got it with the blandness of wheel cake. It was not what I was expecting so I involuntarily spit it out on people's shoes where were walking by. Maybe the cakes aren't for my tastebuds pleasure but overall good experience except for the people's shoes I painted red.

The food is so good! Just a plain bubble waffle is sooooo good after a long day of shopping. I ordered a mango drink with tapioca, and a bubble waffle. They were both delicious, and my food was made very quickly, but the long line was moving very slow. I could not tell when my food was ready, because the person yelling the numbers was very very VERY quiet. I was standing there for a long time before I realized that it was my food that was ready, but even though I waited for a while before realizing my food is ready, the wait was worth it.

I've already been here twice in the past week and I'm soo hooked !! I don't normally go to university village just because this time of year is so hectic with the holidays but Happy lemon is so good this is such a treat for yourself! I think this bubble tea spot is the perfect addition to u village too, the location of the shop itself is great, super close to other food options and sweets I've also been wanting to try Happy Lemon for such a long time but never find myself out where their other locations are so I think I will certainly be back even more often Also- you know they're good because they're always jumpin !! They handle their line well too, everyone is in and out in such a quick manner which i appreciate a lot The bubble tea itself is 10/10 I like how diverse their menu is, there's something on the menu for everyone. I never like going back to a bubble tea place and getting the same thing every. Single. Time. It gets so boring! I can't wait to come back and try a different drink!

Okay I'm a believer. It's delicious, fun, and engaging food. It's not particularly cheap but I think it's worth it. Good snacks for sure.

We ordered the boba milk tea with 50% ice, but half of the cup ended up being filled with ice, and we couldn't even sip up the boba at the bottom because it is covered by ice. The tea and boba itself were not bad, so that's why it is still two stars.

Walking around University Village, I was so glad to see Happy Lemon when I was craving a drink. I've been to Happy Lemon before so I knew that the drinks were pretty reliable. The inside of the store was really clean and spacious with lots of seats for people to sit. I ended up getting a himalayan salt drink that (I believe) was a limited edition (I went here a while ago ahah). That drink wasn't that good because it was too salty for me (which was really weird to experience), but cool to try. I don't think that it's the fault of the store, but rather just my own taste. Overall, service was pretty good and I definitely recommend this store if you're in the area and craving boba!

My photo didn't save, but we had the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk w/ Boba, the Strawberry Jasmine Green Tea w/ Salted Cheese, and Original Bubble Waffle w/ Puff Cream. Was not a fan of the brown sugar, ended up not drinking any of it. Brown sugar milk tea is one of my faves, but this one just tasted really strongly of molasses and was just not what I was expecting it to taste like. The green tea was good, but not a fan of the cheese foam. It wouldn't be something I would have again, but glad I tried it! 3 stars b/c the waffle is definitely worth having, it's warm and delicious. If I were to return I would just have a plain milk tea w/ boba and a bubble waffle - nothing fancy, but reliable and yummy.

I love Happy Lemon and was craving their warm milk tea with boba on this cold day. It was my first time at the U-Village one and loved the size & location of the place. It was very clean inside and my drink was made perfectly.

I LOVE HAPPY LEMON! probably the best boba i've had so far in seattle! i was so excited to hear they have a location here. i always get the boba milk tea with puff cream and it never disappoints. so so good. this location is a little busy but the wait wasn't too long and it's so worth it. i loved walking around the village with my drink and window shopping.

Can't sat much about them but watered down lemonaid it tasted like lemon water no sour no sweet just nothing

Someone brought a kitten into the store and all of the employees were petting it and holding it behind the counter. When we got our food it had cat hair on it so we went back and the girl at counter told us it wasn't cat hair and gave some serious attitude and did not offer a refund.
