Happy Raptor Distilling, LLC

Happy Raptor has one of the best gold rums I’ve had outside of the Carribean! Our tour guide/bartender Nia was very informative and made us feel right at home! One of our favorite parts of visiting NOLA on this trip!!!

My boyfriend and I took a tour of Happy Raptor during our Halloween/Anniversary trip to New Orleans. CJ was our guide/bartender, and she was incredibly kind and funny, talking to her was like talking to an old friend. We also had the pleasure of having Logan as our other bartender, him and CJ made us some delicious drinks that I still think about (Casper shots to celebrate & spiced banana daiquiri!) . Talking to Richard about the process behind making all the syrups and rums, and seeing how passionate he was about it was a joy. I bought their Bananas Fosters rum, and it is not only amazing, but it takes me straight back to New Orleans with every sip. An absolute great place to spend an afternoon with delicious drinks, and friendly people. Highly recommend.

Happy Raptor distillery tour with complimentary drink and Rum tasting was such a great experience as first time tourist in New Orleans! I had tour with Nia which was so great that i had to come back for their cocktail making class. The Cocktail class was held by CJ with so much fun- we had 3 drinks total and recipes for all three which I will be making at home casually. They make their own rum and syrup in house.

Such a great place!! Logan did fantastic job during our tasting, did a great job explaining how each rum was made and answering all of our questions. The drinks are so good!! The Painkiller is a must try! The Praline Simple Syrup is amazing, especially when added to the Bananas Foster Rum! All of the daiquiris were so good as well!

We held what I believe is Happy Raptor's first wedding reception, and I couldn't have asked for better. They were so amazing, helpful and flexible during the planning stages. They were open-minded to our strange ideas, and even let us run a personalized trivia game during the event. The bartenders knocked it out of the park, and had my guests wowed with tasty (and strong) drinks and phenomenal service. It was absolutely beautiful and everyone who came had wonderful things to say about the Happy Raptor team. Thank you guys SO MUCH for the best wedding ever.

Nia was an amazing bartender who made the perfect summer drink to help beat the NOLA summer heat. Logan was very knowledgeable about the Rum process and answered all the questions we had. Definitely must visit while in NOLA!

Enjoyed a group tasting at this local gem! Ava was amazing and shared a great wealth of knowledge and information on the distillery and the history. The rum was delicious and is only available locally so definitely stop in while you are here!

Really great local distillery with a cool story. Enjoyed the tour and tasting! The Arnold Palmer was fantastic and the hibiscus hurricane is second to none. Cool folks, chill vibe. Definitely recommend!
