Michigan Yemeni Coffee Shop Haraz Coffee House Is Opening in Austin | Eater Austin

"A Michigan coffee chain is opening a Pflugerville location that focuses on traditional Yemeni coffee sourced from a coffee-growing village in a Yemeni mountain range that inspired the shop’s name. The beverage lineup highlights jubani-brewed, spiced drinks such as the Harazi (coffee with cardamom and cream), the sana’ani (black coffee with cardamom), and the rada’ai (coffee with ginger and cardamom), along with an adeni chai (black tea with spices and cream) offered in a saffron variant. Additional offerings include espresso and lattes (saffron and pistachio options), Turkish coffee, iced drinks, and pastries like saffron-rose milk cake, Bee Bites (honey-drizzled bread filled with cream cheese), and cheesecakes. The cafe emphasizes communal drinking and sharing, will provide dine-in and takeout, and has no announced opening date yet. The concept was started in Dearborn in 2021 by Hamzah Nasser and has expanded to over 10 locations in five states; the Pflugerville franchisees are Zeid Ayssa and Mufid Ghaleb." - Nadia Chaudhury

We absolutely loved this coffee place. Coffee was great, ambience was calming and the pastries were delicious 🤤. It’s a very spacious place to have a great chat with friends or simply to do some work. The music is not too pout and their many offers great quality coffee. I will be coming back whenever we find ourselves here in town.

Great Coffee & Even Better Service! Stopped by this local coffee spot today and had an amazing experience. The coffee was fresh, smooth, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick with service, which I really appreciated in between appointments. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and perfect for getting a little work done or taking a quick break. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

Google
I just stumbled upon this newly opened coffee shop and was so impressed! It is super clean and has a really fresh, inviting feel. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! I tried their hot chocolate, and it was absolutely fantastic—rich, smooth, and perfect. They also have a wide variety of tempting pastries displayed.

Google
Coffee was amazing! My mom and I stopped here as we didn’t know there was one in Pflugerville. She got the Haraz Latte (hot) with Oat milk -delicious and I got the Carmel frappe - a bit sweeter. Yum. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu! They give you a small buzzer to notify you when it’s ready, so no need to listen for your name. Very clean, but a little noisy for me (guests), so I wouldn’t be able to study here, but a great hangout spot! Coffee, teas, desserts, and more :)

Google
I really like Haraz ,the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to study or get some work done. The space feels inviting and well thought-out. However, the coffee doesn’t live up to expectations. As a chef, I’m very particular about flavor and quality, and I look for perfection in food, coffee, and desserts. Given that Haraz is a Middle Eastern café and serves Saudi coffee with cardamom and saffron, I expected an authentic, rich taste. Unfortunately, it was watery, with only a faint hint of coffee, cardamom, and saffron. I highly recommend the team take a traditional Saudi coffee course or even watch some reputable YouTube tutorials to capture the true depth and authenticity of the flavor. The place itself is perfect , but it’s missing the soul of authentic Saudi coffee. ( assuming Turkish and other coffees are at the same quality level) Also , I want to mention comparing to middle eastern cafe I went to it missing the Middle East cafe customers service style which is known for hospitality and welcoming. The customer service is okay but not close to any middle eastern cafe in the US or outside the US.

Google
There’s a drive-thru!! Service is friendly! Always smiling and deliver to your seat. I have to admit, the bar stools have a low back and it’s not comfortable, unable to relax backwards and the wood hits my spine so it’s not very comfortable. The cushioned seats are the best. The woven chairs are good too, but they aren’t tall enough for best ergonomic arm to hand position when typing on laptop. So if the cushion bench is unavailable, I don’t stay. Owner, for the sake of returning customers and for profits and job security of the very friendly staff, please make these changes. It’s worth the investment. 1st visit 8/5/25 - Haraz Latte has a beautiful thick, creamy texture with a hint of cardamom for full flavor. If you’re wanting to experience another vibe from your daily work spot, this is it! Lots of comfortable seating, WiFi, low volume music. Pastries & occasionally breakfast danish. 2nd time back I ordered the Haraz Latte. Beautiful & delicate flavor. 3rd 8/28/25- ordered the pistachio latte and it did not disappoint! Wow this is definitely a win I will be getting again. 4th visit 10/9/25 - I ordered the Haraz Latte again and unfortunately this time it was watered down. I could barely taste the coffee.

Zen T.

Google
Amazing atmosphere - delicious drinks and dessert. Try their Pistachio milk cake 👌🏼 and steer away from the Saudi coffee - I ordered it as an experiment and regretted it. But other than that, great spot - loved working from here, their wifi connection is excellent. I also love that their open pretty late even though it's a cafe.

Google
Tried this coffeehouse for the first time this past weekend. And I was genuinely surprised by the pistachio latte. Most coffee shops I’ve been going to lately have been very mid. But once I tasted this latte I was delightedly surprised by the presentation, quality of espresso, not overly sweetened latte, quality drink with amazing detailed spices. Will be returning and taking a peek inside. Drive thru is an always a plus!

Yelp
An aesthetically appealing coffee shop in Pflugerville. Tastefully decorated and a pleasant ambience. There's plenty of seating and not many people. So I'll be going back on days when I want to work at a relatively quiet place. They serve Turkish coffee and tea as well as a bunch of delicious looking pastries. I didn't get a chance to taste any dessert today. Their special haraz spice is cardamom heavy and adds a strong taste. My favorite was their saffron flavor. They have specialty beverage which incorporate these flavors. For me this was a welcome change to regular coffee and I'll be going back to try their tea too. They also serve regular beverages like lattes, espressos, and also cater to matcha lovers. I haven't seen any cafes in Austin specializing in Turkish coffee and pastries, so this was a welcome change.
google avatar

Christine T.

Yelp
the cheesecake is delicious here!! not too sweet and quite fluffy I got the matcha latte which comes with haraz spice + honey Drinks are kinda pricey at $8+ though
google avatar

Priya J.

Yelp
The vibe is amazing but the tea and pastries didn't live up to it. Service was good. Cafe is very neat except for near the trash bins area where there was a swarm of flies . I know it's Texas summer , but inside a cafe I wouldn't expect this much. I was happy to get alternate milk for their Adeni tea but it tasted like water. We tried the original too , but same experience. Their Oreo pastry slice was too sweet (for me) and it was really hard and cold . I think there is so much potential to this place and hope it gets better!

Yelp
Mmm, just mmmm for the biscoff milk cake. Think tres leches x biscoff. It's super creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. The pistachio milk cake was also delicious. Staff was friendly and it was nice and clean inside. Perfect for working or just grabbing coffee.

Yelp
Haraz is a Yemeni coffee house that specializes in spiced teas and coffee drinks. Our go-to's are the mufawar and the saffron adeni. The drinks are always hot, strong, and flavorful. The sweetness of some of their drinks (like lattes) can be adjusted. Sometimes i'll go for the pistachio latte, but i always get a little concerned by how bright green it comes out. The service can sometimes be a bit slow because they are always so busy. They also offer an assortment of cakes including cheesecakes, tres leches (milk cakes), mosaic cakes, brownies, and other baked goodies. I personally always opt for the pistachio cheesecake. But my favorite thing about Haraz is actually the atmosphere. The lights are so cute!
google avatar

Vyas G.

Yelp
Nice, modern ambiance , cozy and inviting. The Turkish coffee was excellent, and the pistachio mosaic cake had nice flavor and texture. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy good coffee and dessert.

Yelp
THE BIG: Located in Pflugerville, this vibey Yemeni coffee house is super cool inside. Lots of geometry and traditional craftsmanship inside the coffee shop. Plenty of parking out front in the lot. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with a friend after we ate lunch to talk a bit more about life and he recommended coming to Haraz. Let me tell you, this place is vibey AF. The interior is so cool and rustic modern. I was curious about what the Harazi Mufawar was. It's apparently yemeni style coffee with cream and cardamom. The cardamom added an interesting touch to the coffee. I did enjoy the first couple of sips before it got a little too much. I am interested in trying the Maleki (same as Harazi Mufawar but with ginger) or the Sana'ani (black coffee with cardamom) THE FINAL BAMBOO: For a big glass pot of the harazi mufwar, the damage done was around $27. Pretty good but also ALOT of caffeine. I'll most likely go with a cup next time.

Yelp
First time in this place and I'm coming back. So nice inside and gorgeous set to serve Turkish coffee. I had Turkish coffee before, but I wasn't expecting the nice taste and aroma of cardamom and perhaps mint m8x with the beans. Its definitely coffee for sharing, talking, enjoying and tasting. It's such a nice touch after lunch. Its pricey, but you pay for what you get. I had great service, sat in a clean beautiful place, and drank some well made Turkish coffee. All which you can't get at other places. The coffee was so great, the taste lingered and for the first time it was great thing!

Yelp
Ughh wanted to love this place so much I will be trying again at a different time THEY ARE NOT NUT FRIENDLY Which is completely fine ,.. my allergy is to one specific nut not all , so was willing to try them out even after seeing the sign Asked the host what type of nut is on one of the deserts and they said idk ,.. we are not nut friendly No seeing maybe if the back had ingredients of which nuts were on it. I asked if the desert next to it (that seemed not not have any nuts on it if there were nuts) again stated not nut friendly,.. asked if she could check N she did so I was thankful,.. she said no nuts and then said there was I asked if any of the drinks had nuts she said she didn't know .. So my n my party had to leave Which is unfortunate considering I visually loved the atmosphere the drink selection & deserts Again I know this isn't her or company's fault but I feel maybe would be nice to know what has or doesn't have nuts I just didn't like the feeling of not being welcomed or that they cared Again I know it's a liability n no one's fault but there clearly could be other options for one to pick from

Yelp
I was extremely excited to try Haraz. I had some Adeni chai in Malaysia that blew me away, and I've been waiting to have something similar again. The interior of Haraz is gorgeous, and although the things my friend ordered were good, my order was an extreme letdown. The Adeni chai had a very aggressive raw spice taste--they definitely hadn't been bloomed, and the balance was very off. I like very strong black tea, but this was extremely astringent. I also ordered the rose milk cake, and honestly, the only thing I could taste was non-descript sweetness and the cool whip used in the frosting. The cake itself tasted like nothing, and there didn't seem to be any rose syrup or rose essence at all, just food coloring. I would have been disappointed with this for $2, but for an $8 slice... no thank you. My friend had the pistachio latte, which was yummy, but very, very sweet (and she'd asked for less sweet when ordering.) She also had the chocolate pistachio mosaic cake, which tasted like a mash-up between a flourless chocolate cake and a fruitcake. We both enjoyed that one, but the rose milk cake went straight into the garbage. Service was also a bit odd. I asked about a drink on the menu, and the girl said, "We don't have that one yet." I said, "That's ok--I wasn't going to order that one today; I was just curious what's in it?" to which she replied, "But we don't have that one yet." She was fairly unfriendly as well. I liked the mosaic cake, but I don't think it's worth coming back for at that price point on its own.

Yelp
If you're wanting a Middle Eastern coffee experience, this is the place. They have Turkish coffee served in a traditional serving set. The coffee has an interesting flavor that's slightly spiced with cardamom. Also Turkish flavor has quite a lot of sediments left once you're done which is different from conventional coffee. There are so many pastries that look so good here. We got a Saffron Milkcake as well as a Pistachio Milkcake. They were both so good. I now want to try different flavors now!
google avatar

Cilicia L.

Yelp
This place is new and very elegant. Their pastries looked amazing, and I will have to come back and pick up a couple for my kids. The pistachio cheesecake looked particularly intriguing. The staff were friendly, and they even brought my order to me. I was glad to see that they have ceramic dishes if you are enjoying your beverage there. The coffee was quite strong, and I enjoyed the cardamom in it. I didn't mind paying extra for almond milk instead of cream since that's the custom at most places, but was surprised to be charged extra for honey when they offered it to me, along with sugar or stevia.
google avatar

Yelp
I first visited this coffee shop when they were relatively new, the day after Christmas. The space had plenty of seating and great lighting, making it a perfect spot to get some work done peacefully. I ordered the Adeni Chai, a simple black tea with a strong touch of cardamom (giving it more of a Yemeni touch) and cream. We also got an assortment of croissants and pastries for the table. When our order arrived, the staff let us know they were out of the Nutella/hazelnut croissant we had originally ordered. Since it was one of the more expensive options, the owner personally brought us two extra pastries to make up for the inconvenience--without us even asking. That small gesture, turned what could've been a minor disappointment into a BIG moment of great customer service. PS- I also went to y'all's location in Sugarland, but this one is definitely higher ranking in terms of customer service!

Yelp
Haraz Coffee House is a great spot to grab an authentic Yemeni coffee if you want an upscale cafe to meet up with a friend or spend the day working! I visited around 11:30 am on a Saturday and they were busy but I didn't have to wait in line to order and was able to grab a table easily. FAST FACTS: * Parking - there is a lot with plenty of available spots right in front of the entrance * Online ordering - available online through their website (powered by Toast) * Milk alternatives include almond, coconut, oat, and fat free SERVICE - The workers were all very friendly and pleasant to interact with! My order was taken efficiently and accurately and all the items I ordered came out in a reasonable amount of time. You're given a number and they deliver your order right to your table if you're dining in. PRICING - The total was $41.09 after tax ($3.14) but before tip for a Turkish coffee ($7), 16oz Haraz latte ($7.95), two Oreo brownies ($6 each), and two cinnamon roll danishes ($5.50 each). It's definitely on the expensive side for a coffee house but I feel like the ingredient quality, atmosphere, and service match the price. TURKISH COFFEE (9/10) - Fantastic! I love Turkish coffee and it can be hard to find around the Austin area but this was exactly what I wanted it to be! It's served in a traditional cezve with a stunning copper tray and cups. It wasn't as thick as some I've had but still had a nice rich flavor. I'd order this again! HARAZ LATTE (9/10) - Absolutely delicious! The presentation with the latte art was beautiful and it was served in a massive mug. The espresso had a nice flavor and the Haraz spice and honey flavors paired with it perfectly. I'd order this again! CINNAMON ROLL DANISH (8/10) - Obviously not traditional in any way BUT it looked delicious so I had to try it... it was massive in size and I loved every bite! The dough was soft and the cream cheese icing with the cinnamon swirl on top was the perfect amount. They will warm it up for you if you are dining in. It wasn't the best pastry I've ever had but I'd order this again! OREO BROWNIE (9/10) - Again, not traditional by any means but it looked too good not to try. I'm so happy I did because it was phenomenal! I got it to go so it wasn't heated or served with ice cream but it had a great texture for a brownie and was perfectly chocolatey. It's obviously incredibly decadent and sweet but if that's what you want, this is delicious! I'd order this again! This was my first time at Haraz Coffee House but I will definitely be back! It reminded me a lot of the coffee I had while traveling in Jordan and I appreciate that I can find those flavors here in Texas. I would recommend Haraz to anyone in the Wells Branch area looking for DELICIOUS coffee!
google avatar

Erika N.

Yelp
FINALLY. A coffee house thats open late, served great drinks, and desserts! The cheesecakes are delicious. My favorite is the biscoff cheesecake. The lattes aren't drowning in sugar and actually utilize traditional spices to enhance the coffee. This is not for you if you want things drowning in sugar. Go to Starbucks for that. We tried the pistachio latte and I think another latte that had saffron in it. Wow! The hibiscus tea with blackberry is also delicious. This is our go to place for hanging out late at night with friends now. Customer service was fast and excellent. No complaints here.
google avatar

Allison S.

Yelp
Loovveeee this spot. I'm a coffee shop fan, and this one is truly unique. The staff and decor are fabulous. Plenty of seating. Lots of people chatting and working and studying here. Nice volume for all the above. The tea was recommended by the staff, which was very tasty and authentic. They offered to remake if we didn't enjoy it! The cinnamon roll was delicious, but I would've eaten everything in that bakery case!!! Lots of pistachio flavored treats - my fave. Very nice experience here. For a group of 5 women to catch up, this was the perfect spot. I've already recommended to others.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm so thrilled to have a Yemeni coffee shop in Austin now! Haraz has been a great addition to Dallas and now it's here in Austin. I really enjoy their pistachio latte, Haraz latte, adeni chai, milk cakes, and pastries. You really can't go wrong. Since I came the first week of their opening, it was very busy and it took almost 45 minutes to get my to-go order, but I'm sure that won't be the case everytime. All to say I've found my new regular coffee shop now! They have WiFi and plenty of space to work.
google avatar

Lily P.

Yelp
Stars for the pistachio latte and their pastries Minus stars bc service was awful. The person who took our order spoke in a whisper. We had to ask her to repeat herself so many times. She also didn't/couldn't explain or answer the questions we asked regarding the menu. Menu can be misleading bc it looks like you can get a huge pot of everything but it's actually only like 4 things you can get in the large pot serving.
google avatar

Yelp
These are the types of coffee shops Austin is missing! So glad Haraz is finally open here! This coffee shop has a beautiful aesthetic when you walk in. Nice lighting, tons of tables, and a great selection of coffee and pastries. The coffee is excellent, you can't go wrong with any of the options they have. My favorite is the Haraz Latte, but I'm typically a Latte person.
google avatar

Dolly N.

Yelp
This is a very cute spot! Spacious and plenty of parking. This would be my second visit and there's still some learning/training going on but honestly a solid spot. They do charge $1 for alternative milks so the drinks are a bit pricey but tasty. I've enjoyed every coffee and treat I've gotten here. Their desserts are like a perfect sweet but not too sweet. they have the circle croissant filled with Nutella & this past visit I've gotten the biscotti milk cake. So good!!
google avatar

Legacy M.

Yelp
Overall: Haraz is a great option for anyone who likes a sweet treat for breakfast! Although I didn't get coffee, I got a chai, which was yummy. This cafe is spacious and quiet enough for you to get your work done. The service was good, and the menu was helpful when explained. If you do not like sweets, I would stay away from their treats because they're deliciously yummy. What I Got: - Chocolate chip cookie: 10/10! I loved this cookie. Warm and gooey on the inside and the biscof cookie on top adds a satisfying crunch. Loved it! - Nutella Crescent: This was yummy! I have always seen these on social media and wanted to try it out. The crescent is soft and the Nutella on the inside is great. - Cinnamon Roll: DELICIOUS! Not soft like a regular cinnamon roll because it's a crescent base, but it the cream cheese icing was so good. - Chai Tea Latte: Very warm and cozy. Not my absolute favorite but it was good.

Yelp
This is my second review for Haraz. Perfect spot to bring your friends, Colleagues or loved ones for a late night treat to seal the day. They most likely will have a dessert you have not tried before. I recommend their Oreo cake and the Biscoff cake! I've only gone at night and it can get full but service is still pretty fast. They have great drinks which include tea, coffee, and smoothies. If you need a place to do work at night or study this might be a good option just bring headphones. Ambience is VERY appealing to the eyes. You and your guest will like it! Follow me on instagram: @A.lexa.11

Yelp
I was so excited to try this spot as the menu looked so unique. It was delicious! I got a saffron latte light sweetness and it was perfect. You could actually taste the saffron and the glass was so cute. Also love that they have plenty of seating inside. I wish they had more food options outside of the cakes for breakfast but will definitely be back if in the area.

Yelp
What a beautiful coffee shop and very lively on a New Year's Eve Tuesday afternoon. The interior is beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. If you order dine in, they come serve your coffee and pastries on a nice serving tray. The whole place feels very high end and that extends to their coffee and food. This is the first time I've ever tried Mufawar coffee and it is very very different than a traditional cup of coffee. Plenty of spices, sweet and smells like chai is how I describe it. It comes out piping hot and very comforting on a cold day. I also ordered a pistachio cookie which is absolutely delicious! I'll definitely come back to try their tea and cold brew options.
google avatar

Nasiah R.

Yelp
The is a cute cafe that is open late. It does seem like the restaurant is still working on its kinks. I wanted to order an iced chai and was told that no iced drinks were available. This was surprising and disappointing especially considering there were two more hours until close. I ordered a Nutella supreme. I requested for the dessert to be warmed. Despite the cashier saying my treat could be warmed, it arrived cold and frigid. My dessert didn't taste very good and I think it would have been much better if it was warmed. Although I wasn't blown away, my friends enjoyed their desserts.
google avatar

Neil O.

Yelp
A double shot of espresso that is only served plain (no sparkling water or more upscale presentation) should not be $5. I've worked in the coffee industry for over a decade and that price point is generally only for more specialty lots of a naturally processed coffee on espresso, not a house blend without anything else. Similarly, a cortado being $7.45 and the same price as a regular latte doesn't make sense either. You're getting less milk, so why is the price exactly the same as a latte? Outside of the odd pricing that hasn't changed at all since their opening, when I ordered an iced salted caramel latte the "salted caramel" part was all concentrated at the bottom and I had to personally mix it into another glass when I got home to even taste anything. Again, this is an $8 base price latte, shouldn't that include it being fully mixed together? Seems like with these prices all you're paying for is the overly fancu branding and not the quality of the drinks they're actually serving here.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
Coffee is very strong but also delicious. I tried the vanilla latte and the pistachio mosaic cake. The cake was delectable and honestly not too sweet. It's kinda like a decadent brownie but isn't overpowering at all. At 8 bucks for a pretty small piece that is a little pricey but I do think it's worth trying once. They have a lot of big tables however some of the chairs are broken. The interior is beautiful and I would definitely come back!
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
Really loved this gorgeous Yemeni coffee house! The vibe is classy and upscale with touches of Arabian culture. Plenty of seating and the way the sound dins in the space creates an ambiance of white noise rather than noisiness, so it would be a good place to get work done. I liked the desserts, especially the milk cakes (Rose, Biscoff and Pistachio were my favorites!) and the Pistachio cheesecake. Many of the coffees have a lot of seasonings in them, and you can also order staples like caramel macchiato. I really enjoyed the teas though. If you have questions, the staff are pretty helpful and friendly--they helped me with recommendations. I'd absolutely go back here!
google avatar

Edwyn A.

Yelp
Good drinks and sweet desserts. I got their pistachio latte and I also got a pistachio brownie with as coop of ice cream. The latte was wonderful and not too sweet. The dessert was huge and perfect for two people; I could only finish half by myself and it was a little too sweet. Order at the counter and they give you a number a d will deliver it to your table if your enjoying your coffee inside. They have other desserts as well such as milk cakes flavored with saffron or rose water. The only thing that's missing are savory options if you don't want something sweet.
google avatar

Sana A.

Yelp
Just visited this place and it exceeded my expectations even on a super busy Saturday. The line moved fast enough and the service was friendly. They've got a wonderful assortment of Yemeni coffee and tea and I wish I could try everything! I got the adeni chai and it was delicious though a little stronger than what I'm used to. They've got a lot of milk cakes and croissants as well so there is something for everyone! What I loved the most though was the ambience and decor! Like it was something out of architectural digest, so tastefuly decorated!
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
I love Yemeni coffee, and there are quite a few great coffee shops in Dallas. This is actually not too far away from the Domain, so my friend and I went to go visit. It's a beautiful coffee shop with a ton of seating and parking, and it's really clean and bright. Staff is so friendly. We got their pistachio milk cake with two chais, and everything was delicious. I was raving to my boyfriend about how good this place is, and it's truly yet another gem that the Austin area now has. I am definitely coming back to try their other lattes and drinks.
google avatar

Martin M.

Yelp
The first time I came here the team ended up making my order wrong, however I continued to show up to this spot and my experience has done a full 180. Their Matcha Latte and Shakin' Espresso are unmatched. The honey, Haraz spice and espresso all work so well together. You can tell they use good ingredients. I'm somewhat of a regular in the drive thru now! I look forward to trying more of their signature beverages. Starbucks who? Keep up the good work y'all!
google avatar

Heidy V.

Yelp
My husband and I came for a quick pick me up. He ordered an iced matcha (which he later had them sweeten) and I ordered a pistachio iced latte. For desserts we ordered the Oreo cheesecake and hazelnut croissant (warmed up). For all 4 items our total was $32. This is definitely a fancy coffee house but it's also beautifully decorated and authentic to their culture. I'd definitely come back!
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Second time here and tried a whole new set of options. Was indecisive about my choice of pastry, and when she came out, she gave me the other option for free. Supper nice and kind of her. The lobby was busy with others working and enjoying everything. Will be back to try something else. Thank you!
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! My only recommendation if you get a traditional drink with alternative milk, have them skip the water! They usually add cream + water, but when we subbed it for oat milk, they still added water and it was pretty watered down. The employee told us this when they brought out the drink, and even offered to remake it if we didn't like it, but that felt like too much. It could've been avoided by asking us in the beginning, though. Nonetheless, we will be back to try more of their incredible drinks and pastries. My group tried the cinnamon roll danish and adani chai. :)

Yelp
Excellent environment Wonderful coffee. Delicious Desserts. Nice people. Good service. Easy parking and easy access. What's not to like? Do not miss a meet up with friends at this lovely spot.

What caught my eye here was that sometimes driving home late at night, I noticed this is one of the very few establishments open at 10pm! At first I thought it was a bar for being open so late with so many people inside but it really is just an all day coffee shop haha. So for our Sunday morning coffee, we decided to get the Turkish coffee pot and some pastries. The Turkish coffee came with a side sugar on a beautiful set up. I was a little sad because I was expecting sugar cubes but sugar will do! The coffee was so aromatic and flavorful. The strawberry milk cake was like tres leches cake and was delicious. However my favorite was the mosaic cake. It's like a thick fudge brownie and paired so well with the coffee. Definitely will be coming back to try other drinks. Parking was super easy to find and plentiful right in front of the store.

Yelp
What a beautiful coffee shop!! First off, it is spotlessly clean, a nice and quiet place to concentrate, with immaculate bathrooms. The service was excellent. The woman helped me choose a pistachio latte, which was the most delicious latte I've had. It wasn't too sweet but had a delicious nutty flavor. Their pastry case looked amazing. I ended up getting the pistachio milk cake, I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like a sort of dulce de leche cake. Yummmm.

Yelp
Lovely experience from start to finish. Service was remarkably fast for how packed the restaurant was. Tried the Adeni Saffron Chai. Delicious. It's incredible how long the drink actually stays piping hot and keeps the flavor going for at least an hour. Will definitely need to check out the location in Sugar Land as well. Tried a handful of desserts. The only one that was not worth the money and calories was the Brownie. Texture was extremely hard. Which was unfortunate because the chocolate taste was so rich and it had potential to be delicious.

Yelp
this was my first time trying yemeni coffee and won't be my last. one of my favorite spices is cardamom, which is in their haraz latte. it was delicious and paired perfectly with my nutella croissant. loved the presentation. service was quick and employees were friendly. also inside is such a vibe, beautiful spot to study or chill. so glad haraz coffee came to austin!

Yelp
This place feels upscale, and there are plenty of seats. I got a pistachio cookie and a Haraz latte. They warmed up the cookie, which was great, and it tasted amazing! As for the Haraz coffee, it was my first time trying Yemeni coffee, so it took me a few sips to get used to it. I'm glad we have a specialty coffee shop in Austin. The service was excellent, and if you dine in, they bring the food to your table, which is a nice touch. I'll definitely come back to try other items.

Yelp
Cortado was fantastic. Stopped by this morning to see what the rave was all about between my friends who had recommended me this place. Fast, friendly staff, ambiance was easy going, reserved, and quiet. Keep up the good work guys.

Yelp
Stopped into Haraz off Wells Branch. They had a soft opening a couple of days ago on 12/20. Really cute spot! It's a Yemeni coffee shop that offers tea pot service too. All the drink and pastry choices were amazing and hard to choose from. We ended up ordering the croissant with Nutella and the Mosaic cake for dessert with our Haraz latte and the iced salted caramel latte. Very large space with ample seating. Looks like they might have a drive thru window, but it wasn't in use when I was visiting today.

Yelp
This place is beautiful to the T! Everything is elegant and exotic at the same time! Great drinks and so unique! Fabulous service! Everyone is dressed professionally, eager to help and so patient! Off the charts service My only recommendation is to get better baked goods! The chocolate croissant tasted stale. It wasn't fresh! The milk cakes were meh. Overall drinks great they just need more food items and better quality food items! Maybe even some fun middle eastern stuff like baklava like the ones you get hafiz Mustafa in turkey ;)

Yelp
Newest Yemeni coffee joint in the northeast Austin area!! Super cute ambiance with plenty of seating. Absolutely delicious drinks and the assortment of pastries is to die for. I got the spinach cream cheese croissant and it was so rich, perfectly savory and buttery that I wish I'd gotten more. I got the Adeni cha - a tea-based drink which was really refreshing and tasted of cardamom. Loved this place and will be going back although the pastries are kinda pricey at $6-$8 each(!) but worth it once in a while.

Yelp
10/10 I've been here 3x so far and will continue to visit as my new favorite spot. So far I've only been here on the weekends, and while it can get busy, the place has a lot of tables and benches for groups, couples, and individuals that seek a place to hangout or work from. Their coffee is super smooth. I've had the pistachio latte, Haraz latte, and salted caramel latte. Ive also had their pastries and this place is in a league of its own. The inside is super clean, warm, and inviting. Service has always been quick and simple. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Some of the most delicious pastries I think I've ever had! Highly recommend the Spinach and Cream Cheese Croissant and the Pistachio Milk Cake. Their Adeni / Karak Chai is so unique and delicious! I also indulged in the Iced Pistachio Latte and it was incredible. Both drinks were heavenly! Yusuf gave the best recommendations and was so welcoming! This establishment was peaceful and well lit! Will definitely be returning (very soon)!

Yelp
Fantastic new addition to the coffee scene in the greater Austin Tx area. It's located off Wells Branch Parkway in Pflugerville. First experienced Haraz in Irving Tx. That location was amazing. The new Pflugerville location is bigger with a lot more seating. Well decorated and very clean. I was here at 2pm on a Sunday and every seat was filled. The staff members were super friendly and obviously working as fast a possible with the huge numbers of order they were filling. I ordered the Adeni Chai (my favorite drink there) and a Hazelnut croissant. Their pastries and other desserts are delicious. The Chai was extremely hot as always. Not like the lukewarm drinks you get at most coffee shops which is disappointing. I always take the top off and let it sit for 10 minutes to cool. But that is perfectly how drinks should be served. Haraz Coffee House is definitely on 'My Keepers List'. I plan to visit again soon.

Yelp
Really enjoyed coming to what seems like one of the only Middle Eastern coffee shops in the north Austin area. It seems like it's always busy and bustling, but there's some nice private tables by the windows that my husband, sister and I sat at. We got a pot of their most popular tea, the Adeni/Karak chai and a saffron milk cake. Both were delicious, especially the milk cake which is basically like a tres leches with different flavor profiles. I would come back just for that! The chai was not very sweet, so it paired really well with the very sweet cake. We sat there for an hour or two and enjoyed a whole pot. It's a really modern vibe and clean and comfortable. It's nice to see more tea options since I'm not a coffee drinker, and with a lot of added spices like cardamom and saffron which you will not get other places. I'll definitely be back!
