This place is a vibe! Everything so dazzling and sheek, the service is also pretty clutch if I may say so myself. It’s not a typical factor but I dropped my coffee on the way out and these cups kept my coffee safe!!!! 😂 I took pictures of the stack but the server even came out and asked if I wanted a new coffee and literally, it’s basically still full I think a tiny bit came out but I’m so satisfied with the rapid response and treatment here. Definitely will be coming back and this may be my new fav spot! The coffee taste amazing, plenty of options and like I said, it’s a whole vibe and experience!

Awesome coffee house! Came in as a group and the Barista did great about getting our coffees quick, thank you! I got the Salted Caramel hot and it was sweet but not too sweet and super good. The Bee Bites are yummy too!

Google
Beautiful shop and in a great area. Smells so good inside! Just know that Yemeni coffee is served VERY HOT and that’s part of the process to bring out the flavor.

Elite coffee. I literally can’t justify grabbing coffee anywhere else. Only con is that I love their haraz iced coffee and sometimes they run out half way through the day. But the harazi iced latte is my second favorite order.

Really great drinks and pastries. I give it 4 stars bc my drink was delicious but so hot it scalded my mouth. I brought it up and was given ice to cool it down. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Would have been better to warm milk to a drinkable temp.

Google
Best Coffee shop with great service, Especially Ahmad he’s so kind and a very great employee. The service was just the best! My pistachio latte was the best. The coffee house was just so decorative. This place was just the best hope to come back for more.!!!

One of the best coffees. The cardamom in the coffee smelled like heaven. Ordered the Harazi Coffee with honey.

I went here with my friend and they were out of everything!!! Honestly!! We had to settle for the strawberry refresher which was good but not it! Starbucks is better and that’s embarrassing. We waited like 10 minutes in line for them to tell us they were out of everything and the service was bad.

Yelp
I stopped in to Haraz for a girls day and got the Haraz Latte and it was delicious! I am all about trying new coffee shops and if you haven't stopped in here yet, it's a must! The ambiance of this coffee shop is cute and quiet with many people working or having meetings. I definitely would recommend!

Yelp
This is a neat Yemeni coffee shop in Midtown right across the VA hospital and museums. It was a rainy day and something warm seemed to be in order. Pistachio Latte ($7): Delicious. Not much espresso flavor but it was strong but the milk is creamy and smooth. The pistacio flavor is subtle, not what you would find at Starbucks which is heavily flavored and artificially tasting. The drink itself is barely sweet, which I thought was perfect. I would get this again. Za'atar Croissant ($6): They heat this up for you and it's piping hot when it gets to you. The top is lightly sweetened with syrup and the za'atar is not that fragrant. The inside has a za'atar and cream cheese-like filling that again wasn't too heavily spiced. The croissant dough itself seemed to be a standard mass-produced dough that they take and shape themselves - no butter flavor or crisp layers. It was fun to try but I wouldn't get this again given its price point. I would try the other desserts though! I would return here if I want a drink if I was in the area. This place looks like a great place to study or work.

Yelp
One of the more notable Yemeni coffee shops in the metro Detroit area, this chain is always solid and the Detroit location is no exception. They have a really nice interior ambiance, a good amount of space, and great coffee, chai, and pastries. The only downside is they aren't open as late as their Dearborn counterpart. I am partial to the Adeni chai, but the lattes are also great, as well as the honeycomb dessert.

Yelp
I've been to the Haraz Coffee House Dearborn location a couple times and was ecstatic to hear that a location was opening in Detroit! This new shop is located right near with Detroit MOCAD Museum near Wayne State and has plenty of street parking outside. The ambiance is a 10/10 and I love the middle eastern inspired decor. Not pictured in this review is the coffee but I found it strong yet still flavorful. This is the perfect spot for studying (you can see I have a few books featured in one of the photos below). Now the real star of the show, THE MILK CAKE! I have a huge sweet tooth and the Saffron Milk Cake is definitely one of the best milk cakes I've ever had. It's so moist and flavorful and the whipped cream is light, not too sweet, and balances out the flavors in the cake. This cake usually sells out fast which tells you it's bomb! They also have a vibrant, pink Rose flavored milk cake. I'm excited to try that one next The service is also amazing here and I think I'm slowly becoming a regular!

Yelp
Sorry to say, the coffee isn't nothing special, but the prices are too expensive! I won't return there.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this coffee shop on a rainy day. Ambiance was incredible and there was plenty of seating. Very clean and very great staff! Did not try any of their pastries but they looked delish. Definitely recommend studying or doing work here!

Yelp
Ordered the qishr, which was flavorful but a bit too spicy for me. This place is an excellent study spot with wifi and plenty of outlets everywhere!

Yelp
Spectacular! Wonderful service, excellent selections, delicious coffees and treats - it would be nice if places like this became the norm instead of the the more prominent offerings. Yay! I'm a fan!

Yelp
I love their refreshers! The staff is really nice and work fast. I love the interior decorations and is a good place to get some work done. There is limited seating and parking though. Would recommend parking at the pharmacy on Woodward. I had their pistachio rose cake and it was so tasty, light and fluffy.

Yelp
I ordered the Haraz. It had a nice initial smooth texture/ cool taste to it thanks to the milk and cinnamon. However, the coffee left a stale after taste. I would not order it again. Also the coffee was served very very hot so I had to wait a while to drink it.

Yelp
I had an iced salted caramel latte and the chocolate mosaic cake. The latte was one of the best I've had in Detroit! Loved the unique dessert options too. Maybe I was looking hard enough, but I would've liked to see labels of what each of the desserts were - but they all looked delicious! The man at the counter was very helpful.

Yelp
Writing a review to make a comment about the internal temperature, ceiling leak, and dirty bathrooms. I've been a long time customer of the Midtown location and love their drinks and pastries, but today Haraz was incredibly stuffy. In addition, there is water leaking from the ceiling which is rather concerning given the set up of their lights. Moreover, their bathrooms are in dire need of some TLC. The sink is messy and has soap residue and the toilets needs to be scrubbed.
