"A lot of folks swear off caffeine during Ramadan but for those who need their coffee fix, Haraz Coffee House has expanded from its original Dearborn location. This cafe specializes in Yemeni coffee and sweets and is open 7 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. to midnight Sunday. In addition to its popular espresso drinks, like a saffron-infused latte, milk cakes, and flaky chocolate croissants, Ramadan nights at Haraz are just a whole vibe that need to be checked out." - Serena Maria Daniels

Calling all adventurous coffee lovers! ☕😍😍😍 Haraz Coffee Shop is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the warm and luxurious atmosphere made me feel right at home. The space is inviting, cozy, and perfect for everything from catching up with friends to relaxing with a good book. The coffee was excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I was impressed by the wide variety of beverages available, and their dessert selection is nothing short of amazing. Every item looked like it was crafted with love and attention to detail. Even the restroom was spotless, which says a lot about how much pride they take in their space. This place is definitely a top 10 experience when it comes to high-quality drinks and desserts. I’d highly recommend spending your time here—you won't regret it!

I met a friend here last week and we really enjoyed our experience! Great atmosphere, great service, clean dining area, great desert, great beverages! I had the bee bites and Carmel latte, both were delicious. Great Customer Experience, the ladies were very patient, friendly and helpful! I definitely recommend trying them out. I forgot to take a picture of what I ordered but it was presented nicely!

Google
The cafe impressed with its spacious, well-lit vibe and late hours—perfect for unwinding. The latte had a unique twist, paired with an array of pastries to choose from. Interestingly, the menu leaned heavily into cardamom and spice-infused flavors, possibly a Yemeni influence. While it wasn’t quite my cup of coffee, it’s worth a visit if you’re into bold and aromatic blends!

Google
Haraz Warren is my go-to coffee spot. I’ve completely ditched the big chains for the peaceful atmosphere, incredibly sweet staff, and consistently amazing coffee. The team here is so thoughtful—they see my car and already have my drink ready! The ambiance is beautiful, and the sense of community is even better. I love seeing familiar faces like Riri and all the other regulars. Everyone here makes it feel like home. Truly a gem!

Google
Tried many other coffee houses, but I keep coming back to my number one “Haraz.” Their drinks are perfectly made and the pastries are phenomenal. Amazing workers who just wants everyone to be happy with what they order. Highly recommend!!!

Google
This is a great place to study, work, relax, or meet up with friends!! The service is great and Wi-Fi is fast. I loved the Pomegranate refresher - and very excited that they use real fruit in all the refreshers! and of course signature Adeni coffee is amazing. Would highly recommend!!

Google
I have always been pleased by the services at Haraz since coming to this coffee shop a year ago. It provides a space that's welcoming, comfortable, clean, and run by helpful people, such as K.C. and Bobo, two fantastic baristas. They were brilliant to communicate with, and set a very welcoming vibe. Keep up the great work!

Google
I would like to thank Ryan ( Sorry If I misspelled you name)for her amazing customer service. I been coming to the coffee shops every other 3 days. It’s on the way to my work place, it’s easy for me to grab and go. Moment I walk in she knows what I want and ready for me to take. Amazing customer server. I recommend this place anyone who looking for quality Coffee.

Yelp
I came in here once on a weekend to study but left because it was too busy. I came back here around noon on a Wednesday and the place was the perfect amount of busy!! Great ambiance to study. I got a pistachio latte with oatmilk and it was heavenly!!! I like the ambiance and there are charging ports in a lot of areas.

Anna V.

Yelp
Great big space and delish pastries and cakes! I know they have Yummy cheesecakes but today I got the raspberry croissant and iced pistachio latte with oatmilk. My friend ordered an iced blush blackberry refresher. Always delish! Easy lot parking Didn't see the bathrooms

Angela G.

Yelp
Great study spot with lots of seating and a really relaxing ambiance. I tried the Adeni chai and it was so rich and you can taste all the spices from their blend. I also tried their Turkish coffee, which was strong and fragrant, definitely a good pairing with something sweet like their Kinafa/knafeh cheesecake.

Caren U.

Yelp
Love the spacious but industrial style dine in seating. The ambiance was so cute and just gave off a good vibe. The service was top notch and fast. We just had coffee with cardamom and green tea with ginger on top, but I will be back to try some more.

Jeongmin H.

Yelp
This is one of my fav study/work spots! Very spacious and beautiful interior with lots of outlets and yummy drinks and snacks.

Audrey E.

Yelp
Wow, incredible coffee! First time here, and it definitely won't be my last. The workers were so incredibly kind and the drinks and atmosphere are amazing. I got the pistachio latte. The syrup was just divine, it tasted so nutty and fresh. I truly can't wait to come back to try more of the drinks on the menu. Great ambiance as well, super clean and well decorated environment. Great spot to get some work done, or hang out with family and friends. Be sure to bring cash when you go, since workers aren't given the tips that they make through their POS system.

Lisa L.

Yelp
I stopped in for a safffon latte! It's warm and delicious! Haraz has great customer service & a nicely decorated coffee house! There's a spacious seating area and ample parking. They're also pastries and a variety of desserts, including cheesecake. It all looks good! For this visit, I stuck with a wonderful latte.

Varun S.

Yelp
Great coffee and pastries. Love that's it's popping up everywhere. Cali/Texas/Kentucky/Illinois!

Abhilash T.

Yelp
This place is beautiful; I wanted to try something different than regular every day American coffee so I decided to stop in. The decor and atmosphere invite you to sit and relax for sure. I got the iced harazi coffee that had some cream and cardamom in it. It was refreshing. Cardamom is pretty popular in all Indian cooking so it was a familiar yet surprising aroma that hit me. The pastries all looked amazing but I got the honeycomb and the tiramisu. I tried to share it with my daughter but she's all about candy currently. So, more for me, how can I complain? They were both delicious. The tiramisu was soft and moist and I absolutely loved it. The menu has a ton to offer so I'll be coming back soon! The service was excellent, my Bangladeshi brother started talking to me in Hindi and thankfully I understood him. They tell you to have a seat and they'll bring your drink/food to you. Wonderful in every way!

Leslie A.

Yelp
Awesome cozy ambiance and friendly staff that are happy to make recommendations. I tried the iced tango chai which was delicious but not very sweet, so if you like sweet drinks ask for extra sugar :)

Sohaib L.

Yelp
Been here many times. I typically get the Adeni Chai, my favourite. Their Biscoff cheesecake and pistachio cheese cakes are great. Today I had the Tiramisu which was quite dry. Service and ambiance are great. Family friendly place. They were also playing music today which was louder then it should be.

Caitlin B.

Yelp
My absolute new favorite coffee shop! Everything is perfect: the drinks are great, the food is always delicious, and the workers are ALWAYS so friendly and nice! They also have lots of seating options and places to study. Parking is good with lots of spaces. I'd highly recommend the Iced Mufawar, the Biscoff cheesecake, and the iced pistachio latte.

Jesse S.

Yelp
Aromas of good coffee and pastry bro g t the atmosphere here alive. I can say theirs too they have the best coffee service around. You can honestly tell everyone here is good of what they do. Try the maleki coffee with a pecan cookie great taste and leaves a good impression of what this place is capable of doing. That is all. Chief Feel it within yourself to be great only if you are humble in heart

Montana T.

Yelp
This is my favorite place when I visit my home away from home. My cousin and I ordered two different iced coffees, Pistachio Latte for me and Carmel Macchiato for her. Soo tasty and creamy ! I also ordered two desserts to try, Bee Bites and Rose Milk cake. I melted at the taste of it all!! The service was very customer engaging , there was mix up in the milk used in my coffee and it was fixed with no questions asked and I appreciate that, the customer is always right, right? The view from just the outside lures you in, beautifully decor felt as if I had traveled to distant lands, dimmed lightening, but very much inviting. Nice place to meet friends, to study or just have a peace of mind. I can't wait to visit again!!

ANDREA F.

Yelp
Coffee is unbelievably good. Quiet and welcoming. Air conditioning is lovely. Friendly service.

Nick B.

Yelp
Well established coffee house from the west side opens a location on the east side. Not just another wanna be Starbucks or Tim Hortons. Unique coffee shop drawing on an Eastern influence with flavors of cardamom, saffron, and honey. Modern design with unique features. No corners were cut and they spared no expense. It does have a corporate chain feel to it even though it seems to be a small business. It's no surprise the prices are a bit high, but unlike many other overpriced places, you are paying for something you can get anywhere else.

Bridgette Z.

Yelp
My first time here and i was very impressed. The prices are a bit high but the coffee is organic and made to order. I planned on getting the iced haraz latte which the employee gave me a sample of (and was very tasty) but the pistachio latte caught my eye. Im glad I took a chance on this one because it's one of the best iced lattes I've ever had. They make the pistachio cream in house. I absolutely loved it!

Heidi P.

Yelp
The barista did not speak English. I tried to explain a latte but he did not understand. Latte should be pretty basic for a espresso and macchiato house. I left. The signs seems to get it.

Monica W.

Yelp
Nice space! Plenty of seating options and a decent amount of plugs. I think the decor and lighting installation was the biggest standout. I really appreciate the art work and description of Yemeni coffee. I tried the bees bites, I mean pasty and cream cheese (I think) with honey and some seasoning that had a little salt and spice, then to drink, a pistachio latte. It was creamy and a little sweet but very good. Would definitely put this on my list for places to study/work/meet up!

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Best pistachio latte ever!! This place is very cute, large and has lots of nice seating. The inside smelled so good and seemed clean. The barista was very kind. I got a pistachio latte with oat milk and it was so beautiful and very very tasty. A little pricy but a nice treat!

Angela T.

Yelp
I love this coffee shop! The coffee is alwaya consistent and the staff is very friendly. It does get pretty busy on the weekends, but it's great for large groups. During the weekdays it's a great study spot. It's not too loud and the inside is nicely decorated. All of their drinks are really good and you have to try the pistachio cheesecake! Drink wise I usually get the iced harazi or a latte.

Taliy S.

Yelp
What an amazing and unique coffee place! Incredible interior, with amazing attention to details! Service was nice and friendly! We took traditional coffee, very delicious, flavorful and infused with herbs and spices just perfect! Also the desserts are incredibly tasty with a unique texture and taste! Tiramisu was like nothing else, I really loved it! Will be coming back for more!

Gracie M.

Yelp
The best coffee hands down ! I love the iced vanilla latte it's just perfect. It's so fresh and the has the perfect ratio of milk to expresso! Sometimes it takes a little bit but it's always so busy because of how good it is. The place inside is also so beautiful it's very peaceful and has a lot of seating.

Mariam O.

Yelp
Glad we finally have this cafe on the Chicagoland Area! Great and friendly service every time I go in! I usually like to order one of their specialty iced lattes or caramel macchiato. It's a bit on their pricer side especially for a cafe in the suburbs. Iced lattes can be $8+! So definitely not an everyday cafe

Annum A.

Yelp
It's a cool spot to chill out. Needed a change of pace and checked it out. Loved the ambiance of the place and the hanging lights. Also really enjoyed the espresso bar options and the pastry options they have available. A friend ordered the hot haraz latte and ai got it iced and we both enjoyed our drinks very much. They have parking in front and the staff was actually really sweet and helpful here. Will be returning!

Teddy A.

Yelp
first time trying haraz today! absolutely gorgeous coffee house..! tried the pistachio cheesecake and the maleki latte, both were absolutely incredible!! i haven't even finished my coffee yet and i already know i'll be back. there are plenty of absolutely beautiful handcrafted pastries and deserts to choose from, definitely branch out and try something that catches your eye! i would describe the maleki latte as appropriately bold with warm cozy spices and seasonings, i got mine with sugar which i would recommend. very kind sweet employees ready to assist and answer any questions, they packed my cheesecake up to go very nicely and with great care. 100/10, will be back !

Michelle D.

Yelp
I don't usually venture out to this area, but a friend recommended us to go here to work on a project one time and it was a very good choice. Parking is easy, so that's always a plus. The place is very spacious, with lots of seats and plugs, quiet, and has a good ambiance. A pretty good place to work, chill, or hang with a small group of friends. I haven't been to a lot of middle eastern cafe so all their menu looks interesting to me. I visited in late summer and the weather was still hot so I decided to go for something cold. Had the Iced Tango Chai which was black tea and cream with Haraz spice (sort of their secret spice blend I suppose) and topped with foam. I think the spices are what's special about middle eastern beverages. It's fragrant and spicy, so it's not boring. The only thing I would like to change though is the degree of sweetness. It was a little bit too sweet for me. I would probably like it better if it's 25% of the original sweetness. They also have various cakes and pastries that are visually very appealing. I tried the Saffron Milk Cake. It was quite big. They have a similar cake in pink color with pistachio topping too. I would say to me it tastes like a middle eastern twist on Tres Leches. The cake was VERY moist and fluffy. It melts in your mouth as it just soaked all the milk. It was topped with a sweet cream that was lighter than typical buttercream. Again, it was VERY sweet, but somehow still enjoyable and I finished it. I felt guilty thinking about how much sugar it contains, but at the same time, you got to treat yourself once in a while so... They also have a pastry called bee bites, which my friend said is a specialty. The shape sort of reminds you of bee hives, like little dough balls sticking to each other and you can sort of tear out each one. The pastry was covered, almost glazed, with honey. The aroma of the honey was very prominent. I think they use good quality ones. I recommend eating this pastry warm because if you leave it for too long it grew a bit hard and dry. The service was excellent. Very friendly staff

Hinna S.

Yelp
We went to try Haraz Coffee House yesterday after hearing about their tea! It is so so delicious and has a lot of flavour! I liked the rose cake but I was hoping it would taste a lot more stronger, but overall the ambience, the drinks and the location were wonderful! We also had a wonderful server who gave us great recommendations:)

Cindy A.

Yelp
Great service, clean cafe, easy access parking lot with a nice interior. I just don't think I'm a big fan of the spices they used in my chai. I'm not even sure what spice it was, maybe Cardunum? The service was wonderful so overall I had a good experience. Just the product wasn't a match for my taste buds :) to no fault of the business.

Aminah K.

Yelp
No consistency!! After having a good experience last time I was surprised how different everything tasted. The Adeni chai had way too strong of a cardamom flavor and was not pleasant to drink. The honeycomb bread tasted stale and flavorless. The bread was almost hard and had barely any cream cheese filling. We came an hour and a half before closing so maybe that's why? I still would not recommend getting it. Also the service was slow again. I just wish they were consistent with their items.

Crystal W.

Yelp
This place is a gem in Sterling Heights. I didn't know what to expect the first time I went. The desserts look scrumptious but I was on a coffee run. I tried the Carmel Macchiato. It has different spices giving it a unique flavoring. The coffee was strong but it was also sweet as well. Its hard to explain but you need to try it. The ambiance is amazing. Its decorated so cute. I would say it's modern meets rustic. Its a grab place to meet a friend or even study. The service was average. I will be back.

Alycia M.

Yelp
The Yemeni latte was on point! Very professional and clean cafe with nice atmosphere . I will stop here again and try some of their delicacies!

Christopher M.

Yelp
The coffee here was decent. Nice atmosphere and the employees were nice. Wouldn't really recommend going out of your way to get coffee here, but if you're close by it's worth a try.

Jenna C.

Yelp
My wife and I visited here on a Saturday morning. The ambiance was very nice and peaceful. A great place to study or get some work done. We got just one pistachio latte to split because the price was steep ($7.50 for just one 16 oz latte). It was good, but not exceptional. For a price like that, we would've wanted a little bit more to it. We've tried a few Yemeni-based coffee shops in the area, and I'm not sure we would necessarily choose here over those other places. Not that it was bad, just come with the expectation to spend some money.

Elyshia L.

Yelp
Okay, not only is the atmosphere amazing but the coffee is unreal!!! Best cappuccino I have had in the states.

Robert D.

Yelp
The service is slow but that's because they take their time making good drinks. Great atmosphere and authentic coffee drinks. A must try! I had the mocha and highly recommend.

Timothy C.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting Haraz Coffee House and was immediately impressed by the warm welcome I received from the staff, particularly the employee who went above and beyond to accommodate my needs as a deaf customer. I was celebrating National Coffee Break Day and decided to treat myself to the Bees Bites, Haraz Latte, and Chocolate Croissant. The experience was truly divine - each item on the menu exceeded my expectations. The Haraz Latte was smooth and silky, the Chocolate Croissant was flaky and buttery with the perfect amount of filling, and the Bees Bites, topped with organic honey, were truly unique and flavorful. This is a coffee spot that I will be frequenting in the future, as it has become my new favorite.

Monica T.

Yelp
I wanted to try this place out because everyone was raving about it and there were pros and cons. Cons: My friend and I ordered 1 cold drink and 2 hot drinks but the cashier rang me up for a 2 cold drinks even though i specifically said 2 Hot drinks (side note, the cold drinks cost more) even though she made a mistake, I never got the difference back. It wasn't about the money because I would have said to keep it as tip even though I tipped, i felt like it was just common courtesy, or give us that cold drink for free because we already dranked from it because it was going to be tossed out anyways. The Haraz hot drink i ordered did not taste good at all. I bought it home to my husband and he said, "what is this, it just taste like straight up sour milk" and it did. Pros, the decors was nice and my chai tea was delicious and so was my friends drink.

Olga A.

Yelp
Excellent coffee! We ordered Harazi Mofawar - it's coffee prepared with cardamom, other spices and cream - I highly recommend! It's different from regular Turkish coffee, the flavor is amazing and so rich. Overall we enjoyed friendly atmosphere and unique furniture and decor.

Carson S.

Yelp
Excellent service and lively ambiance with plenty of tables to sprawl out and study. I ordered a pot of coffee and posted up there for a couple hours. The coffee itself is very unique and delicious

Rachel S.

Yelp
Super tasty and lots of options! The bread was a little bit dry since it was layer in the day though I loved the flavor. I only wish they could have some decaf coffee or tea options too. I tried the Iraqi tea and my friend got the Haraz coffee - the tea was strong and had a hint of cardamom while the coffee was creamy and delicious!

Teilor M.

Yelp
Beautiful I love it great cakes and unique coffees I will definitely returning The saffron latte was pretty good and different

Roberto C.

Yelp
Loved this coffee house from the moment I walked in. The decor and ambiance was superb and the service was great. My Americano and croissant was just what was needed on this rainy cool afternoon. Will definitely be back.

Hammad H.

Yelp
This is my favorite location, and has become a go-to spot with some of my friends on special occasions. They're very accommodating of large groups, and they have plenty of options for everyone, from teas & coffees, to desserts and snacks. Try their cheesecake

Maryam M.

Yelp
I like the atmosphere. The coffee was good and the Yemeni tea is great as always. They're a little overpriced in my opinion. Expect to pay $60+ for coffee and dessert for 2 people and a toddler.

Kristina K.

Yelp
I decided to check our Haraz on a whim for a coffee craving. I was pleasantly suprised when walking in how beautiful the interior was and how well thought out the design is. Kudos to whoever the designer was. The customer service was absolutely wonderful. The place was also lively and full of good energy. I decided to try the pistachio latte and it was absolutely delicious. I am excited to try some of the dessert offerings during my next visit!

Kelli H.

Yelp
Wow!! The second I stepped foot in this coffee house, I knew I would like it. The atmosphere is calm, sophisticated, artistic and clean. The mural (photo provided) is so cool, and I enjoyed looking at the artifacts and display while I waited for my iced oat milk latte. The barista was kind enough to walk my order out to me when it was ready. He was very very kind. Probably the best coffee house I've visited in awhile! My first sip of the iced latte was heavenly! I ordered a milk cake for later, and I'm looking forward to trying that. It looks so beautiful and delicious! I'm going to definitely return with friends. A more than 5-star experience!!

Kirsten Z.

Yelp
Amazing place! Unique, clean, professional, and good vibes with a variety of coffee options. Great study spot. Staff is kind and outgoing. Couldn't recommend this place enough!!

Mj J.

Yelp
What a great place to enjoy speciality coffee and delicious desserts. I've been following Haraz Coffee House on Instagram for the past few months. Everything about this place intrigued me. I appreciate experiences, and Haraz Coffee House was exactly what I was looking for. Of course I've been to the typical Starbucks and Tim Horton's and to me, those places are basic. You can find one at every corner. Haraz has expanded to a few locations in Dearborn, Detroit & Warren. Walking through the door, I was so impressed with the thought that went into the decor and story behind Haraz. History plays such an important role in this coffee house. Coffee unites culture and the unique ethnic pastries are delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the Turkish style coffee. They serve it in authentic coffee sets, which I find fascinating. I came in specifically for the Pistachio Latte and ended up eating dessert for breakfast! lol I couldn't pass up the Rose Milk Cake calling my name; it was fantastic. If you are looking for something different, Haraz Coffee House is the spot to be.

Fariha I.

Yelp
It's a great place for a quick meet and greet with new friends and or a quick catch up spot! I love the honeycomb or as they call it the bee bites. Personally, I'm not a huge hot drink person but they do have some good chai as well!
