2025-05-26 - 5 Stars Always nice to find a few hidden treasures and that we did here. All the Staff was very professional. Always nice when I give a bit of my limited knowledge with other seasoned collectors. Definitely would be back when we travel this way.

Google
My absolute favorite place to Antique in Harbor Country. Always an incredible and diverse selection that is always rotating with a great mix of high end pieces, and easy grabs when you just want to add a little something unique to your space. The mall has been a staple in Harbor Country for years however the new owners have elevated it to the next level. Same name, but a totally different experience!!! Such a wonderful example of how much can be achieved by breathing new life and intention into a business. The new mall is thoughtful, intentional, and its clear the new owners have incredible taste. Thank you for investing in our small town and for keeping small business alive!!!!

Always a fun stop on a trip to New Buffalo. Clean, friendly and a solid collection of artifacts.

Google
Nothing but knick knacks. I was looking for some good vintage soda advertising but everything were early 2000’s collectible pieces. They had one vintage Coca Cola button but someone did a bang up job restoring it. The red isn’t even the right red color…

Amazing people, amazing business, and AMAZING customer service! I would recommend them to anyone! They will go above and beyond for you! An absolute joy to work with! Thank you!

Google
I can't believe that these people think they will stay in business treating customers so rudely. When I overheard them treating another customer with absolute disrespect, I got out of there. I won't spend money in a place like that.

We sometimes stop after a beach day. Always fun to walk around & reminisce

Google
Clean, well lit, and easy to stroll around. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We stop here each time we visit the area. It is more organized and easy to get around since new ownership. It has a variety of things, and we usually end up buying something for Christmas gift giving, if not for ourselves.

Yelp
This is a smaller antique store, not really a mall. They had a selection of china, furniture, glassware, figurines, lamps, jewelry and other items. Prices were a bit higher than usual. We were in and out within 10-15 minutes.

Yelp
Hurts my heart to only give this spot 2 stars, but as someone who loves to support small and go to antique shops often, I feel this feedback is necessary. The girl at the desk was very sweet and these stars aren't for the staff I encountered and purely the shopping experience. This was my first time here in two years and I learned new ownership took over. I used to love coming here. Sadly it's now WAYYYY overpriced, not everything, definitely a few gorgeous pieces that are rare finds, but I literally found a basket that fit in my palm with the ORIGINAL Tag on it for $1.50 and it was being sold for $16 dollars... I could find that for 99 cents at goodwill. There are more examples I could give, but I think this one gets the point across. I spent about a full hour inside the Saugatuck Antique pavilion an hour north from here and spent $150 on easily 12 pieces (including almost all brass and a piece of furniture). Tons of vendors, quality antiques and fair prices. We did a lap for maybe 10 mins and I left with one tiny brass candlestick. Overall, what would make this place better is, more vendors, better price variety or just change the advertising outside saying "UPSCALE ANTIQUES AND AUCTION HOUSE". The old sign and outside vibes are misleading. Doesn't feel much like an antique mall anymore.

Yelp
One of the better vintage stores I've been to in a long time. Very awesome people working the day we stopped in. I thought that this place really offered a much wider array of different antique/unique items, sure you're going to see a lot of the same things as one does while vintage treasure hunting, but I saw so many different things that I'd never seen before, several items jumped out at me and I was wowed! I settled on the Retro record by an Israeli pop trio from the 70's... The minute I saw it I knew I had to have it...I love the cover art, it's going on a frame!! Totally stop in here!

Yelp
Not worth the time. Lots of knock offs!! Fake Louis Vuitton for 1000's of $$$!!!! Messy. Disorganized. Unfriendly staff. My hotel recommended this place. I will be advising them to reconsider.

Yelp
New owners have thrown out many of the old dealers. Not the same place it used to be.

Milo G.

Yelp
They let me bring my puppy in so she didn't have to sit in the summer heat and they treated her wonderfully... not that I would bring your pets here but we had a great time

Yelp
What a fun treasure hunt. I went in for a keepsake box and left w lots of treasures from a unique vintage purse to a beautiful tiger eye necklace and 3 box options to share. My son got baseball cards and my daughter scored too.

Yelp
Not bad and certainly better than some other local "Antique Malls" in the area. If you are there stop in and look around. I would not drive any distance to see this but it is better than nothing. Maybe we are just spoiled by some of the HUGE malls we have been to but when you look at the amount of 'stuff' they have piled outside it leads to you believe that it is more of a dumping ground than Antique Mall.

Julie W.

Yelp
File this one under "don't bother." A lot of newer paintings and costume jewelry. Not much to look at, not a lot of actual antiques. We walked through in about 10 minutes.

Yelp
Sometimes you just have to give the scary looking places a shot (unless you like the scary places like I do). As I was walking up someone said "this places looks like a dump". Huge gravel parking lot, side barn with stuff that seemed to be just thrown into and the building itself looks to be falling down. Once inside though, super friendly/ quirky staff, prices don't make any sense (some really low and some really high), and the selection is fast. I was impressed, this is one of those bigger on the inside kind of thing. I found all kinds of stuff for gifts and maybe a few things for myself. Plus a lot of... what the?? I would come back.

Yelp
You wouldn't think this place would have the depth it does, as you pull into the parking lot. But be warned: it's huge. With a huge selection, too. Plenty of stocked booths (and no empty booths or dead space in the place), with items ranging from giant water buffalo taxidermy to art deco jewelry. Definitely worth a stop if you're doing the Union Pier, Lakeside, New Buffalo antique route. Oh -- and the owners are very friendly! Not pretentious at. all. I even asked them about booth space and they were helpful and inviting.

Yelp
Used to love going here and will return again, I'm sure, but went today and felt the selection was a little picked over than previous visits. It's rare for me to leave without picking something up, but I've struck out the last few times. Nice people working there.

Yelp
Huge variety, fair prices. Bought a 1971 version of Diplomacy, and a goofy 1940s comic dictionary for $35 total. Best place in 10mi radius.

Yelp
Sometimes I will be at home, and I see a space, and picture something in it, say a nice antique shelf for a corner of the kitchen. All I have to do is make a trip to this antique mall, and I will find it. I've bought something I needed or visualized, or always wanted here, because the inventory is incredible, the variety is impressive, and the prices are always good. I have even re-sold items in the city to dealers here and made out quite well. The antiques are not the "fancy" variety, for the most part. They are more rustic, collectible and eclectic collections from many different dealers. If you want to haggle, the staff will gladly call the dealer to convey your offer. And most of the time, it works. I've purchased kitchen items, oil lamps, chairs, benches, and a great living room chair. I never spent more than $65.00. Plan on spending an hour or two (depending on how anal an antiques buff you are.)

Jackie B.

Yelp
Found a couple small things that made the visit worthwhile but was not overwhelmed with inventory and thought the prices were high.

Glenda A.

Yelp
I visited Harbert Antique Mall when on a recent trip because of the two reviews that were posted in 2009. Perhaps it has gone downhill since then but I found it to be a dump! It was dingy, dirty and filled with what appeared to be cast offs from the 60's and 70's mixed in with a couple of earlier period pieces. If you're a shopper who enjoys digging in disheveled, dusty spaces, this would be the place for you. But if you prefer to leisurely browse through pleasant displays of well loved pieces from yesteryear, forget about this place.

Eileen M.

Yelp
A huge conglomerate of items at reasonable or negotiable prices. Friendly and knowledgable staff.
