Food is very reliable and savory. Prices are on the higher side of $5 per slice but they serve your food quickly and they have many options to choose from. Overall good place to stop by on the way to Little Italy while in Baltimore. Much recommended.

My wife and I had dinner here on 3/28/2025. This is a nice and g[d location. We were staying at the nearby Homewood Suites hotel on President Street. We got some pizza and a chicken salad sandwich, fries and some dessert. The food was good and the service was really good.

I’ve eaten here several times, usually ordering the cheeseburger combo. Delicious and great service. Negative are the expensive prices. For example, I got a turkey and Swiss cheese sandwich for $15, without sides, or beverage. From NYC where this sandwich would be about $8, I was disappointed. Also keep in mind the prices on the site are inaccurate.

Great food for a reasonable cost . We were in town for a convention and ordered from here through door dash . I had the chopped salad and it was huge, very fresh and tasted amazing . My husband had the gyro and it was also a large sandwich that was very tasty . The price was right too .

Pricey, but tasty. At the prices though, I’d expect everything to be made to order. Salads are not made to order but made same day. More than $5 for a slice of pizza is steep. Sandwiches are great but also pricey.

The white slice was just ok. It didn't have a lot of flavor, but the crust was crispy and had an overall good texture. . The regular slice was not edible. The crust was a bit under done, but it had too much sauce, and the sauce tasted like they used something from a can of Chef Boyardee.

What a gem. Great pizza! I also ordered a Crab Cake which cost $20. There is an option to make it a sandwich as well. We took the food to go and my wife and I during our 5 to 10 minutes walk back to the hotel kept talking about the $20 Crab Cake. Let me tell you something. That Crab Cake was delicious and barely had any of the batter they use, it had at least a pound of crab in it. Amazing 😍🤩!!! Will definitely go back if I'm ever in that area again, and will order the same. Cheese Pizza and The Crab Cake. My wife still talks about that pizza.

Great place all around! My family was staying at the Marriott close by. We were exhausted from exploring nearby areas and just wanted some fast take it and go yummy food. They did not disappoint! We got pizza, a drink and salad. There are lots of options for everyone. Great size, family-friendly, lots of seats. Was not full of drunk ppl even late at night. Tactical police force in extreme proximity for the safety of anyone in that small tourist section. Will be going again when we visit next year!

Went back to Harbor East Deli and Pizza to get their pizza this time and it was pretty decent! It was very quick service and the pizza was similar to NY style. I like the cheese slice a lot. Will be back for more!

I liked the pizza but was disappointed and more than surprised when my margherita pizza came without tomato sauce. I never heard of such a thing. The owner explained to me that was this shop's creation. I wish they had warned me.....after 1000 margherita pizzas this was definitely a first for me.

Pizza is disgusting. Don't even worry about buying anything dad it looks like the cook in the afternoon and leave it into the night. If they're not busy add over priced and the owner is an asshole.

I love this place! I've been coming here for years and I'm so happy they survived the pandemic. Honestly, the pizza is decent but that's not what you should get. The sandwiches are all amazing. You should definitely try a different one every time you come because they're all great and there's so much legitimate variety. It's not like those places where they change one ingredient and otherwise the sandwiches are all the same. They also have salads and desserts, bottle and fountain soda and even beer and wine. The only thing I haven't had are the calzones and soups.

Walked in off the street as an out of towner just looking for a good Baltimore low-key dinner. Carried out a couple of massive slices of pizza to eat by the water. I ate every bit of it, more than I should, and would have stuffed more in if I had more to stuff. Really, really good.

So today I decided to stop at Harbor East Delicatessen to see what all the hype is about. The parking was pretty hectic but that's to be expected lunch time down harbor east. The place wasn't reallly crowd just a group of firefighters but luckily for me they had already ordered. Upon checking out the menu I decided on the H&S. Don't ask me why it's called that cause truthfully it was a Rueben. Everything was good up until my food came. First off the seating area isn't too well suited for big guys as I struggled getting comfort at a booth with this belly of mines. Second unfortunately was my meal. The chips really upset me cause I paid $2 for the little bag that comes in a kindergartener's lunch box. But then it gets better as the H&S was delicious but unlike any other sandwich shop in Baltimore these guys elect to be stingy with the meat. This was the first Rueben i ever had in Baltimore that wasn't packed full of meat. In fact it was part of the sandwich that wasn't nothing but bread which was disheartening. But the prices & taste warrants me coming back here again to check some of the pizza & other items out just never the Rueben again lol

This establishment is in a great location - it was conveniently next door to my hotel, which made it perfect for a short stumble late at night when I needed to satisfy my drunk munchies. Of course I over ordered, but I don't remember there being different sizes of pizza offered. I just remember that the pizza was huge, well-topped, and damn delicious. I couldn't finish it. In fact, I couldn't even eat half - it was that big. Even with the voracious appetite induced by an under catered dinner and the ingestion of copious amounts of booze, I couldn't cut the mustard. Highly recommended for late night cravings.

3 words--- Late. Night. Gem. If all else fails, or it's the first late night craving, i 9/10 recommend this shop for late night eats. I ordered the Harbor Club and it was deliciousssss. The staff was friendly, quick service also. It's a small deli shop vibe, you can sit and eat if you would like or take to go. We do wish the fries were a little bit crispier and saltier but other then that, damn good.

This is a great place for a quick, relatively cheap lunch with plenty of options. Pizzas, subs, sandwiches, cheesesteaks, burgers, you name it. I've had plenty of slices here, but my favorites are pepperoni, BBQ chicken, buffalo chicken, and the meat lovers. Service is pretty fast and always friendly, even during lunch rush hour.

Serious concerns about this spot. This is why- I went to the first single bathroom- I walk down the hall- it goes past the kitchen which has a door open w staff hanging out and talking, one gentleman facing the door that I walked past. I locked bathroom door and somehow 60 seconds after I'm in there some guy walks in. IT WAS LOCKED AND CLICKED! I finished and opened the door and double checked it, locked it and checked external handle and the door IS NOT LOCKED BUT SEEMS LIKE IT. So I tested this. Sent my boyfriend to the same bathroom NOONE WALKED IN ON HIM. Coincidence maybe- but in a restaurant- there is no way that someone doesn't know or hasn't been told that this bathroom doesn't lock. Plus a replacement lock is only like 20$ at Home Depot - the manager/owner could handle this in an hour. WARNING !!! SICKO ALERT!

I'm visiting from Texas and staying at the hotel next-door. Because my stomach is sensitive, I usually travel with my food. But as I've been walking my dog the last three days, I've passed by this deli and the food looked and smelled so good that I decided to try it today. I am so glad I did! I got the crabcake sandwich combo and I got some crab soup. The crab cake is gigantic! And it's so good that hedoesn't need any sauce on it. The soup is wonderfully nourishing. The portion sizes for everything is so amazing! Everything taste, so good !! I am so glad I stopped by!

I've been by this area for over a year and just checked this place out for the first time. I'm glad I finally did! I placed a takeout order for their Italian cold cut sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and was very filling. I definitely plan to go back and try more of their other items. It's also located in a very convenient area that makes it easy to get to with quick service.

Didn't realize this place stayed open as late as it did. We stopped in here one weekend night. Had some pizza and fries. They were on the edge of closing and didn't want to make any more pizzas or add toppings to the slices. Not bad for late night. Not sure if I would go back

Good food, fast service, and reasonable prices in the east harbor area. Sandwich was very good. Other menu options looked pretty good as well.

The food is amazing! i love coming here. however, customer service is horrible!! The guy at the front counter is terrible! He always has a earbud in his ear listening to music, He cant take my order because he is talking low and can not hear what I am ordering. I would prefer that someone else take my order.

Ordered the crab cake sandwich and it was delicious. The portion was huge and generous. If you are staying in this area I would highly recommend it..

Clean establishment, great service, and most importantly delicious food. Highly recommend the cheesesteak sandwich. Pizza looked good also, but did not try it.

I have been here a few times having tried the pizza, cheesesteak, chicken Ceasars salad, and pepperoni calzone. It does get 1 star is due to its convenient location and another star is for the employees (relatively pleasant) but as far as I can tell everything I have order has been less than good. The example in the recent experience of a calzone which is better suited to be called a grilled extra cheese sandwich with pepperoni. Soooooo much cheese does not a calzone make, call it what it is.... grilled extra extra extra cheese pepperoni sandwich. This should be a crime. I cant even eat this. but I guess since I paid for it and they got their money,, this review doesn't matter.... horrible!!!

I judge places on their pizza, which they do have good pizza. Huge slices, good variety of different slices to choose from, ready to go. The one problem is Little Italy is right down the street. You can get a 10" pizza in Little Italy for the same price as 2 slices of cheese here. $11 for 2 slices of cheese pizza is high in my opinion. The location in Harbor East is perfect for a lunch crowd. I had White pizza and shared a small fry with a coworker. The fries were very good, hand cut. A small is like other places medium. The White Pizza was good. My coworker liked her cheese pizza, she balked at paying almost $4 for a small bottle of Pellegrino. If you work in Harbor East, or are staying in a near by hotel, I can see coming often. For the convenience and decent pizza.

This spot is good! A great spot to grab lunch or a delicious pizza and in a great location to walk around the harbor!

A little on the pricey side but WORTH IT! I have been to this location twice since it's so close to my apartment. This is the best location for good, late night food since they're open until 3 AM and have one of the most extensive menus out there. There isn't public parking other than garages and street parking but this location is walking distance from Fells Point and Harbor East. Their menu includes Greek, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, chicken, breakfast, specials, seafood, desserts and alcohol. There is plenty of seating if you decide to eat in or you can take out. The food is quality, almost everything is made to order and their rice pudding and cheesecakes are made in house! If you are looking for a good late night meal, come to harbor east deli! Highly recommend!

Best fast food in Harbor East. The subs are great especially the Italian. The pizza is really good especially the lasagna slice. The secret menu items are the breakfast sandwiches which are only available the first hour that they are open.

Great deli spot. Come here often whenever I need a simple quick bite. Also stays open late and always work if you need a late night snack. Management is great as well. Very friendly staff if you need help with what to order.

My wife and I stumbled on this spot just walking around and looking for a non fancy spot. Owner was there and when I made the comment "I've never been here and checking out the menu" he was quick to throw out suggestions but not in the manner of just trying self us. The cheese streak and fries were great. Huge sandwich and the fries could feed a family of 3-4. Food came out hot and fast, place was clean and upscale for a sandwich spot. Had the bread not ripped apart and been messy to eat, I would've clicked 5 stars.

I have lunch here frequently, and it's the best bang for your buck in the area. I would steer clear of the pizza, but their sandwiches are all good. The gyro is also pretty good.

Now this place knows how to make a sandwich! I usually get annoyed with places who don't give you enough meat, but they didn't lack on the meat or avocado. They were super quick too!

The buffalo chicken sandwich was very underwhelming for $15...just bread and chicken. The pizza calzone used to be my favorite but something has changed about it....it is lacking flavor...there's less pepperoni and too much cheese and there's something different about the bread but not for the better. It was almost like a sandwich.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Boars Head also sold Costco frozen pizza? Well it would be a comparable quality and probably cost less than what you get here.

What's up Yelp Fam back with another review So this past weekend I decided to take my girlfriend to the movies at the Landmark theater in harbor east. We arrived early and hungry. So we walked around and stumbled across Harbor East Deli. This place had everything we needed when we stopped in around 11am. They had specials right out front as you walked in. They had the doors and garage door open on a beautiful Saturday morning. They had an extensive menu of food and drink. Anyone can find something they'd like on this menu. We were also looking for adult beverages which they also had available. We were greeted and helped right at the front counter. She was also kind enough to tell us they are open late on weekends. I had a 32oz blue moon and my gf had some wine. Both of these items were reasonably priced and hit the spot. We ordered a cheesesteak with the works and fries to split. The cheesesteak was tasty and the fries were hot. We finished our meal and determined we will defintley return on a late might of exploring for more food and drinks. Overall harbor east deli was a great hidden gem to find that weekend.

Good pizza. Stopped patronizing because the reception is very cold and Fox News is running 24/7. Offensive.

The crab cake sandwich was so delicious, full of crabmeat and very little filler. Highly recommend!

If your looking for a good chicken salad sandwich then don't go there unless raisins and almonds are your thing. On what planet does chicken salad come with that? Absolutely terrible, only wish I had four hands so I could give it four thumbs down

Before I left Maryland, I kept it simple and went in for a sandwich. They have a variety of pizzas on display as well. Nothing stood out from what I could find at home, so sandwich it was. I naturally gravitated towards The Under Armour Sandwich. (Marylanders are always decked out in UA gear, the staff's shirt was no exception!) I LOVE this sandwich, it sounds so light (minus bacon and cheese), but I got full off 1 half of the sandwich. It's also a mesh of flavors too. It has sweetness from the sauce, the bacon, and then the cheese! I wish I could have tried this sooner, and savored the taste.

Oh man! What doesn't this place have? The menu is extensive and the food comes out hot and delicious. This place has got you covered for your lunch orders and the food is made quickly and made to order. I'll definitely be back for sure!!

They should be ashamed giving me this funky ass slice of pizza! It's obviously old and undercooked. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I can't believe it took me this long to write this review, but Harbor East Deli easily deserves 5-stars! From the quality of food, to the speedy delivery service, they are my new late night favorite. Unassuming in Harbor East, their location looks like it just went through a renovation! When my boyfriend and I visited there, we shared a cheesesteak, a large order of fries, and ordered a beer and wine option. It was delicious!! The fries really reminded me of the OC Boardwalk and the cheesesteak split was the perfect hot option on an April day. Thank you so much to the team there for walking us through our first time visit. Since then, we've ordered from Harbor East Deli several times, and they have yet to disappoint us. Thank you!

We asked the concierge at our hotel for a quick recommendation for lunch and this place was her first choice. With a quick and simple ordering process we waited approximately 5 minutes for VERY fresh and delicious food. The buffalo chicken sandwich was top notch with a perfect blend of heat and ranch. The philly cheesesteak was loaded with meat and the fries, although could have had some seasoning, were delicious. We would definitely go back!

5 dollars for a slice of cheese pizza that's a 1.5/10 at best. Sandwiches are good but over priced..

What a cool spot! It is definitely a diner, the seating is somewhat inconveniently arranged, and the menu is a little overwhelming when you have to order at the counter. But the employees are nice, and the signature crab cake sandwich is fantastic. The rest of the menu is probably also good. If you need an easy and filling lunch, it's an option.

Seems a little over priced but pretty good quality. That seems to be a trend in the Baltimore area though. They were fast and efficient. Overall I would come again. I do like the atmosphere and all the great smells!

I can only comment on the pizza since I have not had anything else. Ok, I have had the fries-- but French fries are pretty normal across these types of restaurants. The pizza, I will say, is as good as anywhere I have had in Baltimore (probably the best!). It had the crunch of pizza from New York, the perfect amount of cheese to sauce, and well, since I am a lack of words, is just perfect. Seriously-- this is the best slice of pizza I have had in this city. The staff seems nice -- I have only had them take my order for pizza. But to be honest, they could be really mean (they weren't but they could have been), and I would continue to get the pizza-- yeah, it is really that good. Outside of New York City, this is the best slice of pizza I have had.

This is a quaint, out of the way of hussle and bustle pizza/deli. Quiet, cozy, friendly, fast, and delicious! Pizza is true NY style. Subs and garlic knots are great! We also got slices of cheesecake to take back to the hotel for later! They have salads, soup, subs, pizza, sandwiches, knots, fountain drinks, fries, and tvs! You'll love this place!

So the plan was to go To Whole Foods on a Friday night , grab some fresh food and cook . The line was ridiculously long so i looked at my nephew and said " we are getting food , ooh pizza " when you walk in it's very very clean ! The staff is welcoming ! They pizzas a very well displayed . But what caught my eye was this colossal crab cake! Omg it's served on a lightly toasted bun ! Very fresh tomatoes and Romain lettuce . I bought two . Those crab cakes can easily feed four people . It is pure lump .little to no filler ! Beautiful Baltimore crab cake .i also got a few slices of veggie pizza and took it home very fresh ingredients as well the marinara on the side was love! Thanks so much ! Everything was so good and we ate it so fast that I couldn't get pictures .

The crab cake and fries tasted just m ok but for the amount of crab in the crab cake I think it's worth the price. The service experience was good and fast.

This food is good and the place is well kept up, it would just be nice to not consistently have angry Fox News personalities screaming at me from every TV in the place while I wait for for my sandwich. I doubt very much that the employees enjoy it either.

Great! The harbor beast sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Would recommend for budget friendly lunch or dinner.

The chopped salad is generous with chicken, avocado, bacon, and vegetables. Consistently delicious.
