Overall, a decent neighborhood spot with friendly staff and a cozy environment. Nice outdoor space with a dog friendly patio which was a treat! Particularly nothing wrong with the experience or restaurant, but nothing we ordered ‘wow’ed’ us if that makes sense so I’ll say the food was mediocre. Our waitress was amazing and 10/10 on service. $5 brunch drinks are a treat for sure and our favorite brunch item was the French toast! If you’re in the area and looking for a laxed enjoyable evening this is your spot!

This place I highly recommend! The restaurant has a antique-y and luxurious vibe. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We went for Valentine’s so I don’t know if it was because of that but the food took a while to come but man it was so worth the wait (The food from Raw Bar came out quick though). Usually fine dining places give you smaller portions which you end up ordering a lot of appetizers or sides but their portions were plenty enough and the price was not bad at all for the quality and quantity of the food. I also appreciated the fact that the servers didn’t push us to order more than what we needed. They are family/kid friendly, but they do not have a separate kid’s menu (they have mac & cheese as a side which worked perfect for our son). This place is definitely a gem to South Loop! *This restaurant is kid-friendly.

Shout Out for Harbor! We tried the new restaurant “Harbor” at 1312 S Wabash last night and loved it! The owners did an outstanding job with the interior. It is so pretty and comfortable. It’s the cool chic-industrial style with warm tones that I love. Even the bathrooms are pretty! 😂 We had: Fried Chicken & Pickle Pizza, Black Cod w/ mushroom side, Sausage Pizza w/ Mac & Cheese side, Vodka drinks and Gin drinks. All were superb. The Mac & Cheese is made w/ smoked gouda and you can “feel” it as my friend says—It’s a must get. The fried chicken and pickle pizza (made w/ havarti cheese) is all that I had hoped for and more. ❤️ I wanted to get a pic of the Black Cod but my huds ate it SO fast I couldn’t. He said the fish was fantastic—he’s from the Pacific Northwest, so I value his judgement with fish dishes 🤗 We will definitely go back. I recommend that you try Harbor for sure.

Just what south loop needed! It's a mid-century-modern-meets-cozy-library. Food was delicious and inventive. We ordered the frisee salad, new Haven pizza, cod, and birthday cake. Fish was cooked to perfection and the carrot sauce that came with the cod was tasty and spicy. Definitely recommend and happy about this addition to south loop! Ask for Terrence!

I’ve walked by this place many times and always thought it looked like a great place to eat, but then I’d pull up the menu and decide it probably wasn’t for me. Boy was I wrong! Absolutely delicious. I ordered the ocean trout and do not regret my decision in the least. It was buttery and flakey, cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the skin was remarkably crisp and crunchy. It was served with a wonderful medley of chorizo, corn, fava beans, and grapefruit. It sounds weird, but it’s really an excellent pairing! My dining companion had the wagyu burger, which he reported was outstandingly good as well. He raved about the bun all night :) Great wine selection too. Oh, and the service was excellent! Very attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. They made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back, and you should give it a try!

Absolutely love Harbor! One of the best fried chicken meals around! If you haven’t tried it yet, you must! If you’re a brunch fan, Harbor has an excellent brunch menu! I’m a huge fan of their brunch burger!

Great food! We shared three pizzas as apps and they were the highlight of the night! I am not a fan of pickles, but the chicken pickle pizza was actually quite lovely. My favorite was the New Haven. My husband and I were so full from the pizza apps that we split the burger for an entree and it was very good.
