This spot had been on our list for a while, and we’re so glad we finally made it out to watch a Padres game! It’s a great family-friendly dive bar with a laid-back, lively vibe. There were multiple TVs throughout the bar and lots of Padres fans cheering alongside us, which made it even more fun. The food was great, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for. On top of that, they have a small arcade tucked away in the back, which was a hit with the kids... and with us! (Of course, we couldn’t resist playing a few games—my personal favorite was the duck claw machine, and we even walked away with two new ducks for our collection!) The service was excellent too. You order food and drinks at the counter, get a number for your table, and they bring everything out to you. After that, you can order another round directly from a server if you want, just make sure to close out your tab either with the server or back at the counter before you leave. Bonus: They have a parking lot in the back, which is a huge plus since parking can be tricky in this area. If you're looking for a casual, fun spot to catch a game, grab some food, and enjoy a great atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Great people, great drinks, great atmosphere, and GREAT FOOD! Ever since I had the Tuna Tostado I have been dreaming of it. This place is so much fun. Saddle up to the bar and you are sure to strike up a conversation with friendly locals. I enjoyed chatting with Captain Chris, and Greg, and that other guy who sat next to us. Try the food! Oh, and walk around the place and check out the murals, including the Padres one in the back parking lot.

Harbor Town Pub is fantastic. Definitely a staple of Point Loma. The food is great, the employees are always pleasant, and it has a pretty decent arcade on one half of the restaurant. The atmosphere is always jovial and it’s a place where everyone always seems to have a good time. I give it 4 stars for atmosphere only because it’s almost always very loud in there during peak hours. If you are trying to have a conversation with anyone, you have to almost yell. Just enjoy your food, enjoy the delicious drinks (they make a killer old fashioned), enjoy whatever games are on TV. It’s a great place. I go there often, and will continue going back.

We stopped in here during our visit to San Diego. We were here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The place wasn't that busy. We got seated very quickly. We ordered the Steakhouse burgers which was very delicious and full of flavor. We also had several draft beers and a margarita. The drinks were very refreshing. We enjoyed our visit and the staff were very nice and friendly, however the music was obnoxiously loud which shorted our visit.

My wife and I were in San Diego for two weeks and stopped in a couple of times. The food, drinks and especially the staff were all fantastic and we really enjoyed the game room. The day before we flew home we decided to get takeout for the flight home. We ordered one of our faves, the grilled chicken bahn mi burrito, this thing is MASSIVE. We asked if it could be wrapped in foil so we could put it in a ziplock bag to travel with us. Everybody was so happy to accommodate us and asked questions about where we were flying to. We started eating that burrito after take off and did'nt finish it until we were approaching TF Green Airport in Rhode Island three thousand miles later, that was one hell of a burrito. Thanks so much Harbor Town Pub, you're the best and we especially loved the note on our take out bag.

If you are one of those who seek healthy food alternatives, this is the place. As I was waiting to order, I saw (then smelled) an order of fish and chips go by. Fish and chips was one of my fav meals until I became aware of the issues with seed and vegetable oils for deep frying. Because of this, I've not ordered anything deep fried for years. Curious, I asked the server "what kind of oil is used for fish and chips?" she said, "I don't know, let me ask" Imagine my surprise when I was told "beef tallow"! Knowing the many benefits of using tallow, I ordered a plate and it was, HANDS DOWN, the BEST fish and chips I can recall. Trying to stay away from carbs, I asked the server to skip the fries and add an extra piece of fish and call it the "B Rad Special" which is three larges pieces of Cod, no fries and double tarter sauce. Order the "B Rad Special" and you won't be disappointed! B Rad

Family and I wandered into this place based on a college student's recommendation back in 2016. Is that a smart thing to do, you might think. Well, turns out it was. Not only do they serve good food and drinks, but every single time we've been there since (most recent visit was Saturday, May 18, 2025), staff has been GREAT. I've not experienced a salty, ill mannered, grumpy pants working there yet. All have always had a smile and a greeting attitude. Most recently, Chris was especially welcoming with all. Through these few years, we've seen the pub's format change a bit, but who can blame them for keeping up with the current environment. When we first visited in 2016, there was a host(ess) that would greet and seat you and you'd have a server table side take your order. Then, COVID: no host(ess), masks, outdoor seating, no servers table side, QR menus, pick-up your own order, etc. Post COVID, still no hostess, seat yourself, and order at the window. They do however, have servers that will deliver your food and tend to you while you enjoy your meal and drinks. The menu has changed a bit over the years also but everything we've tried starting with the H-Town Chicken & Waffles, Steak & Eggs Scramble, appetizers, and burgers have been good. Not a complaint to be remembered. Could we nitpick? We all could. But we can do that at EVERY establishment we visit. Although, in recent years (for health reasons) I was encouraged to change my diet (I'm pescatarian now), I'm delighted to say HTP still fits my diet! The Greta! The Veggie Torta! The Farmer's Scramble! The Seared Ahi Tuna Salad! The Fillet-O-Awesome! The Ahi Club (no bacon)! And let's not forget the IPAs...Chasing Awesome and Chasing Citra! All Pho-King amazing. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. But I haven't even told you about the BEST part. I can take my scrubby mutt along, sit in the place and the staff will happily bring you water, or chow for your furry buddies! Even better, they all love having your four legged companions visit them. This is most definitely a family-friendly, local pub that's grateful for, and respects their patrons. Something you rarely see at commercialized chain restaurants. I'm thankful to that college student who gave us this recommendation. Thanks for steering us towards this place.

The walk up counter works great .the staff brought out our beers right away. It wasn't very long that our food arrived nice and hot . My bah Mi sandwich was delicious and my DW's hot chicken sandwich was excellent. They are dog friendly with water bowls. Definitely a great local sports bar.

One of my favorite burgers and wings in town. The teriyaki wings are to die for. I really love their habanero hot sauce too. I visit in and off and it's always fun, especially karaoke and late night. Service is always kind, casual, enthusiastic and cheerful, too many good times, some I can't remember haha.

Wow, what else can I say but wow? My family and I are visiting and happened to drive by this pub. It looked really busy, so we turned around and decided to eat here. The food is delicious! We got wings, fish and chips, the crispy chipotle chicken sandwich, and the bbq pork nachos. Everything was so good! I absolutely recommend Harbor Town Pub to anyone who is looking for good food! And the vibe inside is great. Friendly staff, an arcade for entertainment, tvs playing the games on Sunday, and there's lots of specials/events throughout the week.

What a great experience! We were in town from AZ and saw the reviews so we popped in to try it out. We met Ben who is awesome and took the time to chat with us. We had the BBQ pork nachos which were perfect for two people. The meat was delicious. When in the area, stop in. You will be delighted by the service and food!

Super fun and loud bar. We stopped in on a Thursday night and had drinks and food. They had bingo at 8:30 and didn't realize how fun that would be. The guy announcing the game was great and got the whole bar involved. They have a great beer and bourbon selection and play good music. Food is better than your average pub and prices are reasonable. We went back for happy hour and pinball the next day. They have parking, but it's a small lot. And when I say loud, the place is LOUD, so you have to want that vibe. It's not great for a sit and talk to your friends night.

Awesome vibes here at this local watering hole. This small town Pub has an abundance of entertainment from Bingo to darts & pinball machines to video games. The pub-style food is also very good and their late night hours make it an ideal spot to meet & greet. I stopped in on a Thursday night and it was Bingo night! They also have a great draft beer selection and custom cocktails served up by a super friendly staff that wants to know you by name. My kind of place when in the mood for a rather loud environment that balances a varsity of music with ongoing Bingo announcements. Having the late night munchies, I zoned in on their Pub Burger! Cooked to a juicy medium with a side wedge salad instead of fries. Delicious! Washing it all down with a frosty local Lager, made my night complete. My friend and co-worker, had a fresh grilled Ahi plate that he wolfed down with great pleasure. Definitely in my bookmarks now for Brew Pubs. A Five Star Fabulous night, where the laid back vibe of having fun and a delicious meal, frosty beer & friendly service, made all the Stars align making everything alright! Patty and I met some friends here a few weeks back. All in all, a pleasant experience. This pub offers a near--stellar selection of beer, and I like beer. I ordered a sandwich, I can't remember the name, but it was vegetarian. The components of the sandwich were top-notch but, sad to say, the bread was average. Good prices! Lots of video games for those who partake in such behavior.

Had takeout tonight. I've had takeout before and it was good. However; tonight they got my order wrong and called me to tell me to come back. By the time I got home, the food was cold. We had burgers and both burgers were way overcooked and chewy. The fries were soggy and cold. I'm not sure if it was just and off night but all the food I ordered was terrible

My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and wanted to do take-out because we were tired from a day of touring. We found this place via Yelp and OMG, IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! We both ordered the Cali burrito and good GOD, was it fantastic! We have one more night here and I think we might eat there again, but try something different.

Burgers were good and decent size. Chicken wings are delightful too! It has a kick of Filipino grilled chicken or inasal (that's what I think). Made me miss back home! Also there's something about their wings that made our cats go crazy!! They probably loved the smell - they hounded me the entire evening for it. Gave them all a small bite. I will come back for those wings and their arcade! Lol

The staff was amazing! Ben and Brie were very attentive and kept a clean environment. The food was amazing! Bahn Mi slider are amazing. Drinks were well made and they made sure were never empty. Will come back.

We had a great time as always at Harbor Town! Blossom, Jen, Bri, & Ben were all great. They made our experience so fun! I haven't been here since they added the game room. Great selection of games and the Photo Booth was fun!

The liveliest spot in town for Thursday night bingo! With delicious bar food, a loud and cheerful crowd, and a family-friendly vibe, so it's fun for everyone. I've literally seen people of all ages here at hingo having a hoot. They also have plenty of arcade games, lots of seating, and amazing staff.

We love coming here. Great ambiance and food. They have arcade games, lots of seating and our favorite thing to order are the buffalo cauliflower bites. This time we ordered the buffalo bites and the fish and chips. Both were great! Buffalo bites are always perfection. The fish and chips were crunchy and flaky. The service is always great. We've never had a bad experience here

I absolutely love this place! I used to live a few blocks away and would regularly walk here to either eat, drink or just socialize. The food is bar food as expected, but some other menu choices you don't normally encounter with "bar food" like seared Ahi over a salad or any way you'd like. The service is always top-notch and they genuinely care that you're having a perfect meal.

Staying in SD and found this place after a quick Yelp search...of course. It was open to the street and had a good bit of volume coming from the inside, peeps starting off the holiday weekend right. Food service is all ordered from the end of the bar. It was quick and the dude working the counter had his system wired. It was fast and easy.drinks and appetizers came out quick. Buffalo cauliflower was lit. My kicking mule was great. We had the jalapeño bacon burger and SD cheesesteak. Both were delicious and well executed. Free shot on Friday night to thank the patrons. It was fireball or something but I thought it was a great touch. Well done Harbor Town Pub crew! You killed it!

Local bar, it was Bingo at 8:30 On Thursday and the place was packed. Great food and cold beer. Had a smash burger with fries and their cheesesteak sandwich. Both were delicious, (the cheesesteak was a killer the next day, lol). Local drafts and nice locals having fun. Would come back again.

This is not just your regular run of the mill bar, it is truly a neighborhood staple. It was so refreshing to walk in and enjoy more of a restaurant feel. This place is great for families- they offer high chairs if needed! And truly just a nice place to pop in for lunch/dinner. The staff is extremely friendly; truly gives a Cheers vibes, because everybody will know and remember your name lol. When you walk in there's an area in the back near the game room where you can order. They give you a number and you grab whichever spot calls to you! They have so many screens on with different games and one dedicated to the music reel playing. Great music selection, it was hard not to belt out every single song. My food came out very fast and fresh, it was such a nice touch. Drinks were made with so much love, I could hear the bartender shaking my drink from across the bar . If you're looking for a good, but sneaky, little cocktail The Point Loma Pancha is a must when you come! Seriously *chefs kiss* Definitely worth stopping by if you're looking for lunch, dinner, drinks or some fun!

Awesome ambiance. Solid prices. If padres win, $2 domestic beers. The food surprised me. Didn't expect the quality to be so high and the portions to be hefty. The staff is great and very entertaining. They provide quick and straight to the point service. Would return for sports, drinks, or to grab a quick bite.

Had dinner with our son and food was so tasty! Lots of guilty pleasures on the menu! Good for the soul not for the heart!! Burgers are juicy and huge! Service is fantastic! The restaurant is super casual and homey; great for watching the Padres!

Foggy night and a good burger in point Loma. Burger was cooked to my liking and had mostly normal toppings which was my choice. Loaded fries had its moments with the fries needing to be a bit crispier. Chipotle chicken sandwich also good. Some local drunks. But nice staff.

Came here after a Humphrey's Comedy Show last weekend and the place was jumping with some good 70's-90's music playing and many tv's with local games and highlights. Was able to easily find a booth seat and ordered at the window (they bring food to you after). We got a few different types of burgers with regular fries and the grilled ginger soy wings as appetizer. Drinks looked good but had to drive so didn't partake this time. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious, everyone loved their burgers and the wings were so tasty, couldn't get enough of them. Would definitely return here again.

What a nice pub in Pt Loma! It's divey with games, music friendly staff. We had tacos and they were delicious. I'll come back for more. Drinks were good with with good selections

They had Bingo on Friday! This place is a local hidden gem. The staff are some of the friendliest people I've met in the area, and the food is top notch for being a bar! The ambiance is definitely giving dive bar, but who cares? The music is great, and the booths are perfect for groups. I brought my parents around 10:30pm, and they had a blast I had one of the burgers and really enjoyed it! Overall, don't expect a 5 star environment, but do expect a 5 star crew with food that'll make you smile.

Been here over half a dozen times. Every time good food, good beer, and amazing staff (Ben most recently, but you all always on point.). Money well spent, always, and consistently good vibes with good memories. No need for a lengthy critique, come in your looking for a good pub and good people; you'll find it here.

Great vibe! Lots of locals. Sliders are a hit (you will not regret) and they have a self serve popcorn machine and wheel of "shots" you can spin. Service is great and consistent every-time we visit. Mostly counter and bar service but everyone is attentive.

Just in for a round and some arcade games no matter what this is your place to stop on Point Loma for fun, a drink, snack, or a great meal! The staff is always incredible and the ambience is artfully crafted for such a modern bar!

My boss recently moved our office to Rosecrans St and I was really excited to know that we would be so close to Harbor Town Pub. The first time I had come here was on a date with my then boyfriend, now husband, so it holds a little special place to me! Now that it's closer to me, I've got to order lunch a couple times and I am hooked. I order online, wait 15 minutes and walk right over super easy. Plus the service is always so fast and friendly, I love it. So far I've only ordered the Crispy Red Hot Chicken Sandwich and it is so delicious, it's fried chicken, Franks Red Hot sauce, blue cheese and bacon. I crave this sandwich so frequently, but I have to control myself! The chicken is always so tender and flavorful and the blue cheese is perfect cheese to go with it and I forgot the best part it also has crispy onions, ugh so good. The sandwich does come with fries and they're always crispy but you are able to add to it, I've had it with garlic and it's perfectly stinky. My husband wants to come back where we can have dinner together so I'll have to try something different then. But please check them out, food is delicious and service is so friendly, definitely my new go to.

I stopped in for dinner not too long ago and it was a great experience! Very cool vibe. My sister and boyfriend both really liked their burgers. I opted for something different-a burrito. Not bad, but let's be real, if you want a really good burrito-you're gonna go to a taco shop. Really tasty salsa though! Anyway, I'll definitely be back, but I'll probably order a burger next time :)

This is the friendliest, most genuine place I've ever been to in my life. Jen, a recent transplant from LV is a treasure. Their kitchen is open late night and the menu though limited is solid. Run don't walk.

The food was so delicious! I like bar food, but I LOVE THIS bar food. Everything tastes fresh and full of flavor! The service was fun and speedy thanks to the bartender Ben and server Morgan! Great atmosphere as well. I will absolutely be back!

The food at Harbor Town is really good. I got the Bahn Mi Chicken Burrito and my wife got the Poke Nachos, and both were absolutely delicious. Staff was super awesome, made you feel like a regular even if you're there for the first time. The pub is family friendly with popcorn for the kiddos (or adults like me who love popcorn). Great mood inside, not super loud or obnoxious. Definitely look forward to going back!

HTP keeping bartenders who have been there for years & really love the place makes it feel like a true neighborhood pub. Erika is one of the best who has been there for years. She is quick to notice a near empty glass, always cleaning, & moves with urgency. Love the karaoke nights!

We stopped in on a Friday night and also during the day. The place is popping at night! Music, games, good food and friendly service is what you'll find here! Get the ginger soy wings!! They were the best wings I've tasted in a LONG time. Unique and not the run of the mill taste. The burgers and sliders were good, the family also really liked the bbq pork nachos. Honestly everything was amazing both times we stopped in and would definitely pop in again.

Holy shit, you wouldn't believe this place. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, you can't go wrong. Been coming here for years, can't think of a better place to be.

Fabulous tasting food with a creative variety, laid back atmosphere of classic rock music videos playing on the tvs, and artwork on the walls. Servers/cashier were friendly and accommodating to review the ingredients list to see what I could eat as gluten free- but taking off a star because they didn't have many gluten free options, nor indications of "GF" on the menu, so I had to determine I could have the seared ahi tuna over rice and slaw WITHOUT the soy glaze sauce (which made it somewhat lacking in flavor- though the horseradish sauce drizzle added a nice touch.) The roasted Brussels were crispy, scalding, and beautiful, and for 6$ I was incredibly pleased. Would return for quick service, fun atmosphere, and a fulfilling meal!

This is by far one of my favorite establishments in San Diego, specifically Point Loma. The food is top notch, and the service you will receive is very consistent and strong. I've been a regular for 4 years or so because of the atmosphere. Lots of draft beers, fun shots and Padres games in stereo. Some of my favorite orders are the Sliders, California Burrito and the free popcorn- yes you heard. Thank you Jen for making my weekly experience entertaining!
