Our first time here. We got take out. I got the beef chow fun. The flavor a good but a bit too oily for me. Hubby for some dim sum. The char sui bao and egg custard was good but the egg rolls were super oily. I air fried it when I got home so some of the oil came out.

Stopped here for some quick food after hiking Koko Head Railway. We ordered a few items off the dim sum menu to share so we were in and out pretty quickly. The place was full when we arrived and was still full when we were finishing up.

Stopped in for Dim Sum. It's located in the Koko neighborhood plaza, a stone's throw from Leonard's Malasada truck parked in the lot. Chinese broccoli was excellent; had the oyster sauce on side; asked for hot mustard and chilie sauce. Char Sui Bao. Steamed bun with bbq pork. Crystal shrimp. Meatballs. Tofu skin wrapped beef. Fried dumplings. Black bean ribs. Sweet sticky rice sesame red bean balls.

Our first time eating Dim Sum. What a great experience. We had friends do the ordering and when the table filled up with plates and steamers and sauces a good time was had by all. Staff was very attentive, clearing off and filling water and tea. Highly recommended!

Food is excellent and service is great.

This place is always busy, but the food is always cooked perfectly. The authenticity of the cuisine is right on point. The Honey Cashew Shrimp is terrific! The service is great. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants on Oahu. We love this place.

Having dim sum without heading downtown is so nice! My family is from Hong Kong and I’ve visited often so I had three tests: whether they can speak Cantonese (CHECK), have a variety of Asian vegetables (CHECK) and taste and quality of their siu mai (SOLID). Service and atmosphere were also wonderful!

Google
Was craving some dim sum after eating only Hawaiian food mainly while we were visiting Oahu for 10 days. This place had the best reviews for dim sum in the area so we decided to give it a shot! It was pretty good, not the best I’ve ever had but certainly not the worst. I only have one pic but we ordered like 10 things. Pretty reasonably priced too. That beef chow fun was delicious! We also got the sticky rice, hum bao, shrimp dumplings, egg rolls (to die for) and I can’t remember the rest. The restaurant looks closed when you get there but they are doing dine in, we ate outside and it was great!

Yelp
Still a solid place for dim sum :) (the baked char siu baos are the best!) but I thought I'd update my review because we have discovered their food is all good too lol. We did take out multiple times, and my family and I all love: Peking duck, egg flower soup, lemon chicken, steam fish fillet, and tenderloin beef Chinese style. Oh! And my ultimate fav: steamed stuffed tofu with shrimp. I hope this place never closes because it's the only Chinese/dim sum place in Hawaii Kai lol. I definitely recommend giving this place a try :)

Yelp
Saturday July 19, 2025 we came here for lunch after being a vendor at the Koko Marina Craft Fair and we been here many times in the past. Plenty parking. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered right away and the food came out in a very short while. Food was good. Except the House Noodle was really salty. Normally, we don't complain and say, anything. But, we just wanted to let them know. That's all. The lady waitress said, it's a little salty and it shouldn't be really salty. She took away the order and made a new to go order to take home. She kept saying, sorry. That's okay. It's not your fault. You just serve us the food. Ambiance is casual and comfortable. We will be back again. As we love the food here.

Yelp
1) service was very slow. Waited at least 50 minutes before we got our food. Ordered spareribs and was told it will take at least 20 minutes to cook. Why didn't they tell us earlier. The restaurant was half filled when we entered and ordered. Wondered if our other food will be cold by the time we get our orders. Seems they make everything from scratch when ordered. Six months ago it didn't take this long. Maybe they have a new chef. Heard one of the cooks left. Ambiance is still the same, not much changed. A bit dusty around the tables. They could improve their service time to customers need. Waiting this long is not good for business customers who is on a time schedule. We even got wrong orders delivered to our table. Time to rethink patronizing this place again.

Yelp
We heard that Harbor Village has a new owner so we decided to try it. We were happy to find out the quality of their dim sum was very good. We expect the usual selections to be good. The pork hash, shrimp dumpling and half moon were exactly as we expected. The char siu bao was a little disappointing because it lacked in flavor. But, we discovered a very unique item... pan fried shrimp & bean curd roll. The crispy thin bean curd wrap provided a surprising texture to this dish. I returned just to order this. It's hasn't been crowded when we ate there. Which is nice. The glossy, colored ordering sheet made it feel like a fancy place to be. But, the dishes can be pricey. A dish would range from $6.85 to $8.75 with most at the lower price. There's lots of free parking which is always a plus!

Yelp
We came here for dimsum around 9:30am after a morning hike. They have a sign by their door stating the dimsum is only Mon-Sat. I'm not sure if it's an old sign but they have dimsum available on sundays. We walked in with a party of 9 and they let us know kindly they can seat us as long as we finish by 11am since they're booked out for the day of bigger reservations. That was nice of them. They had their regular menu and a paper menu to write down the quantities of each dish you would like. We ordered a lot. The food came out pretty quick, most of them at the same time so our table was full. The spacing of the restaurant is decent, enough room to move around. And the big table fit all 9 of us perfectly. The only downfall is they don't have the glass turntable to move the food around so there was a lot of passing over dishes. For the food, my favorite is the salted egg custard buns and the chive dumpling. They even have a unique dish, char siu mochi. The combo works and it was tasty. The dishes are on the pricier end, but plentiful. I do recommend to check it out. There aren't too many Chinese restaurants on this side of the island. So this is a great place to get your dimsum fill.

Yelp
Wow my last review was from 4 years ago? During covid time? It's time for an update! First of all they some dim sum items that are hard to find at other dim sum restaurants, for example mochi rice ball, lotus bun and pan fried taro cake with shredded taro instead of mashed taro. We order 2 of them: taro cake and lotus bun. I love that the taro cake has so much taro in it. You can actually taste the taro not just taro mashed with rice flour. I think I've only it being prepared this way here and at Honolulu Seafood restaurant. Lotus bun: it got the perfect ratio of the bun and the lotus paste. And they added the right amount of sugar so the paste was not overpowered by the sweetness. I could still taste the lotus seeds. I also ordered the shrimp and bean curd roll: The tofu skin was very thin and crispy. Shrimps were fresh. They also added some crunchy vegetables. Dip that into Worcestershire sauce. Man I was in heaven! Beef chow fun with vegetables was also great and very filling. They gave us lots of beef and vegetables. Don't be fooled by how the beef looked they're really soft. It was actually quite busy during lunch time but service was great!

Yelp
A hidden gem for Chinese food in Hawaii Kai is hidden in the back parking lot on the Lunalilo street side. At first glance walking in the front door. You can hear the Chinese chatter. So you know it Chinese approved. A lot of parking as long as the other stores are not busy. Walked in and not realizing how big the restaurant is. Greeted right away and seated. Went here mainly to try out their dim sum. You order on a paper order form with names and photos of the dish. The photos helps because the names of the dishes might not be what we are use to. There is no dim sum cart to order from. You mark what you want and how much you want on an order sheet. The food is fresh and hot to your table and not in a warm cart. So expect awhile for your ordere to come. But it's worth it. Ordered: Bean Curd Roll: Comes with two large rolls which was nice and firm. Not like the soft soggy ones you usually get. I would first order one for two people at first because the rolls are large. Deep fried taro: Nice and fluffy crunchy outside and soft flavorful inside. Chicken feet: Don't judge me. But they were three in one serving and they must have been huge Chickens. Again, not your usual soft and soggy dish. Very good. Deep fried mochi: This is football looking with pork in them. Steamed taro: This is like the Steamed taro cake but they shredded the taro and then cook it. It adds a different texture to what I'm use to. But it was good. Chow fun: Good and served hot off the wok. Not your traditional oyster sauce chow fun. Pros: Food served hot and fresh. Con: Hot and fresh means it takes time for the food to get to you. Be careful there is small dried shrimp in the dim sum, my wife is allergic and unaware. Good thing she didn't have a reaction. Would I go back? Looking forward to it.

Yelp
We were planning to go to the beach but as happens on the island it started to rain. So we turned off the highway into Koko Plaza and came upon this wonderful dim sum restaurant. As decor it had a large fish tank filled with very beautiful fish and the Nekokats in the window as well as throughout the restaurant. Waiter came and sat us quickly at a table that was comfortable for us near the window. We ordered the spare ribs, steamed Chinese broccoli, tofu wrapped beef, meatballs, Crystal shrimp, barbecue pork steamed buns, And for dessert the sweet rice sesame balls filled with sweet red bean paste. There were three of us. It didn't take long for us to inhale the dim sum because it was well-made and very tasty. Each dish was about $6.95 and we had a pot of jasmine tea. We were able to eat everything and be back out in the sunshine in less than 45 minutes. It was the ideal lunch break for us after being on the highway. Service was attentive; at one point one of us raised a hand just to ask for hot sauce and two different waiters saw the signal. Wonderful.

Yelp
I'll lead with the good. The service was tremendous. The workers were extremely attentive, kind, and even funny! I felt welcomed and appreciated as soon as I walked through the doors... However, the interior was the tiniest bit dirty and dusty, outdated, and cold (both literally and figuratively). There's a blandness to the ambiance that could easily be fixed with some warmer lighting and a splash of color -- dark red, perhaps? But overall, there's nothing that makes this place feel special. The least they could do is go around and sweep up the dust bunnies clinging to walls, picture frames, and doors. Lastly, the food, while not necessarily bad, was lacking in flavor and seasoning; and our noodles were overcooked and mushy. I wish there were more positives to my experience, but alas... I do feel like the workers had the right attitude and energy. I just wish they had a restaurant to match their personalities.
google avatar

Conni R.

Yelp
Generous portions of dim sum. The steamed chicken buns and the deep fried taro are really tasty. The steamed spare ribs were tasty but fattier than expected. The broth in the stuffed dumpling soup was surprisingly bland, especially considering how tasty everything else was. Service was great and staff dressed nicely. It didn't feel rushed like most Chinese restaurants. The tables were close together. It wasn't a bother, but I could see it feeling congested on a busy weekend evening.

Yelp
The flavors of local Chinese food vary by restaurant. What we've had here is delicious! We started with take out and we were really impressed with their pan fried noodles with chicken. Generous with veggies it was full of flavor. So we stopped by last night for an early dinner and continue to be impressed. We had the MaPo Tofu and the sizzling platter of shrimp with black bean sauce. You can order white rice by the bowl so it's easy to order more. My husband would have were it not for me sharing mine with him; just to sop up all the flavorful sauce from the MaPo Tofu. The restaurant is very generous with the shrimp as well. Service is great. Everyone working together as a team to be sure we got everything we needed. Hot tea is available without an additional charge. Love this place! They do a lot of take out business.

Yelp
Discovered this hidden gem while browsing some establishments in the Koko Marina Center--if you have a large party, would recommend calling in advance to try and book a reservation as it can get crowded! Luckily, we were able to snag a table for two after a bit of a wait (which was to be expected the weekend before the Lunar New Year). Upon being seated, we ordered the following dishes: deep fried taro, baked crispy char siu bun, steamed Shanghai dumpling, steamed seafood dumpling, steamed pork hash (siu mai), egg tart, pan fried shrimp and bean curd roll, and the seafood and chive dumpling. All were delicious, of decent proportions, and were prepared quickly! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
They are definitely still open for business. They are absolutely too busy to answer the phone. Christmas day, gotta eat dim sum and fried rice! Tried some new items (new to us) today. Seafood spinach dumpling (very nice), Young Chow fried rice (super delicious) and stuffed dumpling in soup (sooo good). The stuffed dumpling was enormous, the soup had a gentle flavor I really enjoyed it. We also ordered pork shu mai, shrimp scallion and crispy car siu bao. Everything was served piping hot. I saw the owner helping to run food and wash glassware. They were busy. Too busy to take a single phone order. Too busy to allow main menu take out orders (dim sum only). Be patient, the staff is truly doing a good job getting the food prepared and to your table, considering the crowds.

Yelp
Harbor Village is one of the most decent places to eat in Hawaii Kai and probably the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Location: Koko Marina Shopping Center near Brianna Nails on the wallgreeens and Leonard's area. Lots of parking at Koko Marina. During the day they have dim sum, both good to eat in or take out. If you have leftovers, they do charge for take out containers. Dishes we recommend: House crispy noodles comes with chicken and vegetables Kau yuk with taro and won bok Taro puff for dim sum They also do make cake noodle if you request it, it's not on the menu, Enjoy!

Yelp
We come here for family dinners and special occasions like my Popo's birthday or celebrating my Ghung Ghung's death anniversary. We usually always order a soup, noodle dish, veggies and meat dishes. This time we ordered the crab, soup with fish caw, shrimp fried rice, spicy eggplant, e main with chicken and kau yuk (our Ghung ghung's favorite dish). The staff were very helpful and attentive and refilled our water and tea pot. Great place for family dinners.

Yelp
Went there while visiting Hawaii Kai at the recommendation of a friend. It is tucked away in the Koko Marina Shopping Center on the side that gets less traffic. It has a bright and very clean dining room. We were seated right away as the Friday night we went to eat was not busy. We had decided to order family style minute chicken, noodles with brocolli and black fungus stir fry. The last one might seem a little odd, but turns out that it is a popular dish at this restaurant. Our orders came out pretty quick and each one was very good. The minute chicken was tender and tasty, the noodles were not mushy and the vegetables had some crunch when I bit into it. The black fungus was light and had lots of flavor, really didn't taste like a mushroom at all. I had a very good dinner there and plan to go back next time I'm back on island.

Yelp
We love coming here for the Dim Sum. Food is great , service is very good too. Only downside is they are very busy and short staffed, sometimes takes a little longer. But it's worth the wait. Long lines can happen on the weekends, make sure to book ahead. Very clear inside the restaurant too. Also have a nice big fish tank to look at while you're waiting for table.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on New Year's Eve for lunch. The place was very small. Our friend ordered everything for our table since I never know what to order at Dim Sum places. Everything was delicious. The peking duck was cooked perfectly. The chow fun was the winner. It was very good.

Tony T.

Yelp
Great service and the food delicious! My wife and I had an early lunch and we had the salt and pepper pork chops, Sam see min noodles and cold ginger chicken. All dishes were super fresh and tasty. We also ordered take out for dinner. Service was excellent and servers were courteous. We'll definitely be back again. Thank you HVC.

Yelp
The food was authentic (loved the salted fish fried rice)! Mongolian beef was more sweet and sour, but also tasty!
google avatar

Mia M.

Yelp
Harbor village has good service and good Chinese food. Their best thing is the charsiu bao, it has a sweet crunchy top like a nai wong bao which sets it apart from other places. The foo kin tofu is also good, but I love foo kin tofu from anywhere so maybe I'm biased haha The place is small and can get crowded, so call ahead if you're worried about bringing a larger party or going at a busy time. It's nice to have good Chinese food on the east side, but since harbor village is the only good option (as far as I know) they're quite popular!
google avatar

Li Ming L.

Yelp
Harbor village cuisine is one of my favor for authentic Chinese cuisine, particularly Braised Fish Fillet & Tofu which many consider the best in the area. My son's favor egg tart, my husband's favor dried scallops and egg white fried rice ! As good as always! These are our dinner tonight !
google avatar

Yelp
Great Chinese restaurant with the most underrated dim sum in Hawaii! Great: Food; Service; Dining environment; Parking. Our favorite!

Yelp
We stopped by for take out on a Sunday afternoon on our way to see grandma. My mom called ahead of time (about 30 minutes). We were greeted immediately and our food was ready to go. Packaging was careful and sturdy. We didn't stay long but the restaurant looked clean and inviting. The got our order correct and everything was delicious.

Yelp
Great place to eat with the family! Very tasty and Friendly service! We had a good dinner here! Specialy the sweet and sour pork is my favorite Will be back to try their dimsun.

Yelp
Their portions are so small. The food taste was ‍...... I won't go back. I don't usually do reviews unless they're good, but I was highly disappointed.

Yelp
New ownership isn't always a good thing as some might believe. Harbor Village Cuisine recently switched over in the past year, and boy, I must say, the dim sum was incredibly disappointing. The staff and menu and interior remains the same. Kama'aina discount still applies! Gotta ask of course! Discounts are never automatic. Starting with the Pan Fried Chives Cake... The filling was bland and the wrapper was unusually soft and did not crisp up even the pan fried part. At least it had decently sized pieces of shrimp.. Next was the Steamed Seafood and Chives Dumplings. It's the same bland filling and the same thin and soft wrapper. In this case, the softness of the wrapper was fine, but the blandness was not acceptable. The Baked Golden Cake was a disaster. It was clear to me that the heat was too hot because the outside sesame crust was dark brown, the size was smaller than usual, and the inside was sticky and doughy. And quite bland as well!! The Chicken Feet was okay. Meat was soft and tender. Very one note though. Just garlic and oyster and soy sauce? Where's the fermented black bean and chili? Is there supposed to be black pepper in this? The Steamed Beef Ball was actually not too bad, but quite different from other places. The color was very light--as if it was mixed with mostly pork. It was JUST meat. No water chestnuts, scallions or cilantro. They were juicy and tender, but one note flavor. The Pork Spareribs were strange as well. The pieces were so big, and there was not enough cooking time, so the meat was not tender at all. The flavors were lacking as well. I see it, but the tastes do not come through at all. Lastly had the Fried Stuffed Tofu with Minced Shrimp from the regular menu. This was fried well, but don't you need some salt or flavoring on the tofu? Relying solely on the soy dipping sauce doesn't work. Overall, this was quite a disappointment. The food and execution was subpar. The service was good though, except during cleanup. We asked for a box and a small sauce container for the tofu and sauce. While putting the tofu away, the sauce was taken away along with the rest of the empty dishes by another person. Gotta look! Well, now Harbor Village can join the "nothing is good to eat in Hawaii Kai" list.

Yelp
We went to the Hawaii kai side hiking, after hiking, we wanted to eat dim sum, so we went to Koko Marina shopping center to dine at this reataurant. There are plenty of parking. We were seated very quickly, we selected our orders on a piece of paper, gave the paper to the waiter and they start steaming the dim sum, they do not do push cart style. The dim sum is pretty good, we ordered the beef chow fun dry style on top of the dim sum, it is pretty tasty too. Overall, food quality is acceptable for a Hong Kong style dim sum. We asked for our check, it was about $57, I gave the guy my credit card, they ran it and return with a credit card slip of $68 dollar, I usually do not check and just sign it, but for some reason, I checked the bill and the amount was wrong. I called the guy back to the table and complaint about the switch and charge me more. He was very apologetic and said he must punched in the wrong check when he ran my credit card. Lucky I checked the total sum before I sign or else I will over paid! I also want to bring this to your attention, the floor of the restaurant is not all flat, there are high and low spots underneath the carpet. Be careful when you walk around.

Yelp
Harbor Village is my go-to Chinese restaurant and dim sum that's on the far east end of the island of Oahu. Simplicity goes a long way, and the consistency of always putting out great tasting Chinese food got me picking this restaurant as my favorite. The wide selection of seafood, fowl, beef, or pork made in different flavorful styles will never get boring. Service is good. Food was brought out fairly quickly. Attentiveness to filling the water and tea was good. Indoor dining, Asian art decoration, fish tank, and music playing in the background is a normal Chinese restaurant ambiance when i was growing up. Tables and interior were clean as well. Restrooms are located in the back Parking is on private lot Payment Cash or credit

Yelp
The best sim sum you'll find on the eastside. And don't say, it's the only dim sum on the eastside! Harbor Village is actually pretty good. The restaurant is deceptively bigger than the narrow frontage suggests. The best seats are towards the front where the window is. Unfortunately, it is also where the people picking up their take-out will be standing and watching what you ordered. Still the front is a very pleasant spot to sit day or night. I've been coming here regularly for both take-out, eat-in dim sum lunches and occasional dinners for the last fifteen years. My favorites are the dried scallop soup, chicken and bitter melon w black beans, and black fungus and mushroom. in fact, if I call in this order and one of the longtime waitress pick up they will usually know who is calling. For dim sum I like smaller baked and glazed char siu bao and pan fried turnip cake, and Harbor Village's is consistently above average. In an Eastside Honolulu neighborhood there isn't much pressure to present creative and beautifully plated dishes so just expect something a little above average. Good enough to attract a regular take-out lunch crowd of immigrant Chinese blue collar tradesmen working in the area. Not good enough to get regular ABC family gatherings over food. Good enough to be familiar without fully selling out to Americanized tastes. Going on fifteen plus years, for me. I'm looking forward to coming here for another fifteen.

Yelp
I was so excited to get some authentic Chinese food without driving to town! Harbor Village did not disappoint. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but it was spacious and clean on the inside. We came during our lunch break on a Friday and was seated immediately. Our plan was to get some quick dimsum since there was only 2 of us but we saw a lobster yee mein special for $42 on the wall. Naturally we went for the lobster. The lobster noodles came out fresh and juicy. The flavor was great and two of us sharing was more than enough. Overall we had a quick and fancy Friday lunch and went back to work with happy tummies. I will definitely be coming back to try the other dishes!

TRACY S.

Yelp
First time here, met a bunch of friends for early Dim Sum as we wanted everything to be fresh. We were not disappointed. Wait staff was very attentive. Of course, we over ordered, but every dish was better than expected. Will definitely visit again

Yelp
My family's go-to Chinese restaurant. The real deal in Hawaii Kai/Kailua for excellent, authentic Chinese. We ordered a whole Peking duck, Ma po tofu, fried rice, and a veg, which turns out to be 2 whole meals for 4 people (as in, you can be fed and then have a tremendous amount of leftovers) and the bill was $100. Unbeatable value and exceedingly delicious. I don't know what people expect of service in a traditional Chinese restaurant, but it is going to always be perfunctory and no-frills. You want frills, you go to an American fusion restaurant. You want excellent food for a steal, you come here. Caution: it was PACKED at 6:30 for dinner service. Come early or make a reservation. Ordering the duck (and you should!!), call ahead.

Yelp
food is good! service is fast. some of the staff are really nice sad they got rid of their kamaaina certificate thingy but wills still come to support. singapore noodles on point, their stir fried veggies, peking duck, all yummy. their clams are delicious and pretty big! the fried rice is so yummy - I think it was the fish one I had. we always get their honey walnut shrimp and beef broccoli cake noodle. my least faves is their version of chinese chicken salad and pork hash but can't complain and been coming here for decades - at least 20+ years!

Yelp
This is the place we go to for special occasions to enjoy one of the few places that prepares black bean Dungeness crab. It is pricy but very good. Until we learn to cook this dish, we will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Consistently tasty! We enjoy the House noodle every time we go there, fresh, delicious, and nice serving size. We've tried the sizzling plates that are also very good. We will be going back.
google avatar

Yelp
New noodle dish tried this time: country style noodles. We really liked it. Good mix of proteins (shrimp, BBQ pork, and egg), some greens, and rice noodles (I don't typically love these in a fried noodle dish but they were quite good here).
google avatar

Violet B.

Yelp
I tried dim sum today and they were pretty good. Like many other places I ordered by selecting on an order sheet. Our usual shrimp dumplings, ribs did not disappoint. Other dishes were OK.

Victoria I.

Yelp
Great food. Variety of choices on the menu. Ready in 20 minutes for pick up. Dim Sum available for lunch.
google avatar

Jeffrey T.

Yelp
If you are looking for dim sum on the east side and save a trip to Chinatown, Harbor Village Cuisine in Koko Marina is great place to go to. No dim sum carts, their dim sum menu is steamed to order and they have an extensive assortment. On Tuesday, it's dim sum only. They have their full menu on all the other days. Definitely want to go back to try other things off of their regular menu. Right outside is the Leonards Malasada truck.

Lijun R.

Yelp
Authentic Chinese food in Honolulu. The beef chow fun you must try. The beef was so tender. This is the best chow fun I've had in long time. The crispy walnut shrimp is my kid's favorite. It tasted crunchy and creaminess. We will come back again.

Yelp
Just a quick update: Tsong yo bing (scallion pancake) is DEFINITELY superior here!! Savory w/ right amount of dough, good scallion flavor...could eat this every day. Clean w/ beautiful decor, attentive waitstaff, fast even during busy Sunday dim sum lunch period. Love coming here

Yelp
Better than expected Chinese food in Hawaii Kai. We had a family dinner the other night and each dish was prepared well with generous portions. Our family took 2 large tables and we were comfortably seated in the back area of the restaurant. Some of the memorable dishes were honey walnut with shrimp, sautéed black mushrooms with Chinese greens, scallop soup, and Peking duck with accompanying buns. Other dishes were also delicious. We came back a couple days later for dim sum and chicken pan fried noodles. Prices are fair and lots of parking! Likely the best Chinese food in the area.

Yelp
Unfortunately I have no pictures of this place but it was excellent. We had reservations before Christmas but the place wasn't busy at all. We got there and sat down. We ordered a pork and vegetable soup which was delicious and the meat was soft. We also ordered garlic crab, spicy eggplant, Kung pao chicken, walnut shrimp and another vegetable dish. All the dishes came out pretty quickly and were all very flavorful. The garlic on the crab was a bit over cooked so it had a bit of a bitter taste to it but the crab itself was tasty. I feel all the dishes were tasty and not salty or strongly flavored with msg. I liked that. The tables are apart from other Ave he was rather good. The phone was ringing off the hook for take out orders. I feel that they do a lot of take out. It was clean, quiet except for the phone ringing non stop. The food was good and the prices were decent for today. It was all in all a great little restaurant. Next time I will take pictures!
