Yelp
Pinkies up... Harbour City is a shopping complex right beside the pier overlooking Victoria Harbour and with that offers a stunning view especially in the night when the city lights come alive. Along with the customer service and a map of the mall it's pretty massive enough that we got last and couldn't find the restaurant that we intended to try though browsing around majority of the shops are high end. There's quite a bit of selections available here regardless as I enjoyed looking at a health and wellness shop and some heath and beauty items as well. A great place to eat, browse and relax or just enjoy the view Harbour City is a beautiful modern complex that offers it all. Thank you!

Yelp
This is yet another modern and shiny Hong Kong mall. This one is conveniently located at the Tsim Sha Tsui terminal for the iconic Star harbor ferry. I did not do much here except get off the Star ferry and walked through the mall complex to eventually get to the Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station. I did not realize it at the time, but it is claimed to be the largest shopping center in all of Hong Kong with a mall area totaling 2 million square feet. Actually, based on how long I walked, I can believe that claim now lol, as I entered at the ferry terminal and exited at Nathan Road, and for a mall, that is not a short distance!

Yelp
Huge mall in Tsim Sat Shui! You need an entire day of not more to explore this place which has all kinds of stores. The layout is confusing but there are information kiosk and signs everywhere. Lots of dining options to select from.

Yelp
The Harbour City is a shopping centre in Tsim Sha Tsui, which occupies the lower levels of a series of office blocks and hotels. The oceanfront deck has the breathtaking view, and you shouldn't miss it.

Yelp
I had a fantastic time , don't want to go back home. Its a splendid town in Hong Kong. I have different experiences view, food, drink. The best part Hong Kong & Macau will always in my memories. Happy New Year 2020. See you again.

Yelp
My favorite shopping center in HK. It's a nice mix of stores and restaurants. THE BUILDING It's clean inside. Often, it is crowded here but it's not too bad. SHOPS HC is huge and made up of 5 sections so I'm just going to generalize in my description. The first floor is mainly higher end shops. The second floor has a mix of store types and even has some small restaurants. The third floor has a mix of shops like the second floor but also has a nice food court section and a marketplace. DISPLAYS This might be my favorite part of Harbour City. For as long as i've known, they've had special holiday displays at the big entrance that is near the ferry. These are high quality displays that are completely worth checking out. My favorites have been the Disney themed Christmas displays.

Yelp
A-YA! This place was so crowded on Xmas eve. Trying to get in and trying to get out were so hard. Like many malls in HK, it was pretty upscale. More upscale than your average American mall even. If you are at the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, then stop by this mall. We stopped and had a drink at a place inside.

Yelp
This place is huge, and best of all, it's super air conditioned so it's a great opportunity to escape the humidity if you just need a breather. While inside, you can easily get lost, but they have interactive maps around the center so you can find your bearings. Whether you're looking for beauty items, high-end clothing, casual wear or home goods, they have it and lots to choose from. One of the things I really enjoyed was it's namesake, the view of the harbor. You can get some awesome photos and it's a great place to see the lights without having to go outdoors. Definitely worth stopping by, especially if you're looking for some relief from the heat!

Yelp
Barbour City is a high end mall that is really close to the ferry terminal on the Kowloon side. This mall is huge and features mostly the high end designers. There's Fendi, Calvin Klein Jeans, and Dior to name a few. Le Cafe de Joel Robuchon is also located here. The place is beautiful, immaculate, and very expensive. It's easy to get lost in this mall. I went to customer service and they were very helpful. They gave me a map and the different routes were color coated. I asked if there was a food court in this mall. She kind of chuckled and said there was no food court in this mall. I guess it's too high class for a food court here.

Yelp
Another huge shopping mall catered with HK locals and Chinese tourists! haha :) Even our hotel recommended that we check out this place. It's enormous, multiple floors, and fully air conditioned. There's even FREE wi-fi as well, which is a bonus! Easy access from multiple hotels in the area, and close to Avenue of the Stars, museums, and more. You can easily get lost inside, take a map!

Yelp
Harbour City is a ginormous mall that consists of 3 smaller ones. Kinda like a robot put together. Kinda like Voltron... Organization-wise, it can be rather difficult to find places without a map. Restaurants and cafes are scattered throughout. Stores are a bit randomly located as well. However, you'll whatever you need here. Lane Crawford is one of the anchor department stores, which is closer to the Marco Polo Hotel. Kinda kicking myself for not getting some Fortnum & Mason tea there. As you can imagine, Christmas-time, it's a cluster you-know-what here, with crowds that'll give anyone a panic attack. However, the nice views of the harbor (and there are some quieter spots of the mall) can bring you back. Wifi is free. which is a nice deal. The mall is clean, which I can appreciate.

Yelp
Harbour City has the nicest and most helpful information guide standing in front of the map near the big entrance by the Star Ferry terminal! He makes you feel HAPPY that you asked him for directions. This huge shopping complex actually comprises of 3 connected malls (Ocean Terminal, Ocean Centre, and Gateway Arcade) and office/hotel buildings. It's so easy to get lost in here. They have everything from grocery store to high end boutiques. It might be a general Hong Kong thing but their Muji store here has a cafe for afternoon tea! The Cha Cha sweets by the City Super market sell matcha green tea ice cream. I also came across a MTR coupon machine here where you beep your Octopus card to take $2 off your next ride at the nearby MTR stations on the same day. It's not much but it's the little things that you suddenly discover that makes or breaks an experience. I love their small outdoor patios that come with a seats and views of the harbor. I do wish that they had more seats throughout the mall. PS during New Years season, they have a small parade and visit every single shop in the mall to wish the staff and customers a Happy New Year!
google avatar

Yelp
Located in Tsim Tsa Tsui, this is a high-end malls featuring many luxury labels. Some of the bigger brands have street facing store fronts. There are many cafes and restaurants located throughout. There is a grocery store on one of the floors that have booths selling cooked items. Venturing to the back of the mall will score you a great view of the harbor. One really annoying thing is the dozens of salespeople scattered all over who are trying to sell condos.

Yelp
3.5/5 Harbour City is a gigantic shopping mall at TST, right by the ferry pier. And yes, you will get lost if you're not a local in Hong Kong. Despite the size, you'll find most of the stores here are western focused, especially high-end brands. It sorta feels like stepping into a North American shopping mall, a huge one in fact. If you're looking for local stores or local flavour, you won't find it here. The mall is also extremely busy due to its distance from various piers. It's a popular tourist destination, and for those coming from the mainland (look for people running around with luggages!). While the brand options are aplenty, I found food options to be lacking here. You're better off going across the street to SilverCord to chow down on some food while you're shopping (and getting lost) here. There's also some lookout areas where you can see the HK skyline, which is quite nice. If you're a mall person who can't resist shopping, then this is the mall for you. If you're someone who likes shopping locally, then do look beyond this tourist trap unless you want in for the awesome skyline views.
google avatar

Denise W.

Yelp
I like this mall. Its very similar to North American mall. They have stores I am familiar with. Like Zara etc. The mall is quite busy. Lots of people walking around. Very crowded. Mall is clean. They also have high end brand name

Yelp
A complication of malls. A mall to end all malls. It seems to be miles and miles of stores, restaurants, whatever you might need. Shopping fix needed? You got it... Be prepared with good shoes if you plan to see everything. This mall literally spans many city blocks. If you've not been before, start near the star ferry entrance and just start browsing. There are many restaurants to delight you. There are multiple floors in each section. It is easy to get lost. But there are maps and helpers to guide you on your way... A shopoholics dream...

Yelp
THE shopping destination on HK. Something for everyone! This is a huge (maybe 500 stores?) shopping center. It almost feels like it would be difficult to see all of the offerings here. They have the requisite luxury brands: LV, Chanel, Valentino, Gucci, etc., and the stores are massive. Tons of inventory. They also have lesser stores like Log-On and Le Sportsac for people on a mid-range budget. FYI-LeSportsac does special prints only available at local stores and they have one for HK that is adorable. This was the third mall we hit in HK and we ere kind of done, so I can't say we did tons of exploring. If I had it to do over again I would come her first and ditch SoCo. Langham and Isquare were decent, but if you only have one stop I would go here.
google avatar

Ed U.

Yelp
Great place for shopping name brands - perhaps all name brands you can think of are here. Everything was so expensive so we settled for Uniqlo at the 3f as the prices were very reasonable here. Crowded almost everyday.

Yelp
Review for nursing mamas and families with young children: Malls and shops are a dime a dozen in Hong Kong, especially the high-end ones so Harbour City is your average mall. It's huge and the decorations are awesome during the holidays around Christmas time if you ever get the chance to visit then. Also plentiful food and snack choices. Enough said about the shopping cause it's all the same after a while. I'm going to highlight the nursing/baby rooms. There is one large breastfeeding/changing room on the ground floor where all the baby/kid stores are clustered in Ocean Terminal by Toys 'R Us. The door is discreet and you would pass by it without a second glance cause it looks like a decorative wall. But it's a massive 2 floor to ceiling door entrance that automatically opens. You then go in and there's a play area in the middle with seats on the left side and changing stations on the right side. Families welcome so that means you too, dads! Then in the back are two large breastfeeding rooms so you can comfortably nurse your child or pump like I did. There's also a changing table with faucet and bottle warmer in there too. Electrical outlet next to the cushion seat for your convenience. Great baby friendly area, it's a gem! As a first-time mom traveling to Hong Kong, this is great for future use and I know I can bring my child to Harbour City for a relaxing day :)
google avatar

Kristy N.

Yelp
I LOVE the amount of effort they put into the decorations during Christmas time. Seriously, the amount of money and effort they spend here is crazy, but then again, this is a top-notch tourist location, that's extra awesome during Christmas. Here, you will get amazing views of the Harbour and you're close to the ferry terminal (Star Ferry) that brings you to the other side of Hong Kong. This mall has many shops, restaurants and in addition, there's WIFI in the mall. If you're a big fan of macarons, LAUDUREE IS HERE - so keep your eyes out for it. ToysRus is on the bottom-most floor, so unless you love kids running all over the place, do not go there.

Yelp
My story from many years ago: After I took the MTR metro to Tsim Sha Tsui, I wandered off course to find the mall situated next to the waterfront near Austin Road. Because it was at night, I could see the lights from the skyscrapers located in Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island. There I was standing agape when I saw the shiny poles that led up to the main entrance. The interior was much bigger than it looked on the outside and based on the conservatism efforts, they have made the hallways very narrow. I can bet my own car that a long chain of human dominos would be able to squeeze through the gaps Residents of the region would be envious if they could only dream of having all that much space to themselves. This maze of a mall is the largest in the entire Hong Kong SAR period. I cannot count exactly how many times I have gotten lost even though I was a native of the area. Sometimes in the US I fail to find a mall that offers me the same level of grandeur unless I am in New York or San Francisco. Most of the items you find in the mall range from the name brand items such as Gucci, Louis Vutton, Chanel, Burberry, and Shiseido to ordinary everyday items equivalent to the modern day Daiso. There is a supermarket and a toy store located on the bottom floor of the facility. If you ever need to shop some of the latest music whether it be Mandarin songs, Western Pop, Korean Pop, or the omnipresent yet dying Cantopop; they have that all in the music store. Lane Crawford makes me think of the equivalent day Neiman Marcus or Macy's with luxury brands from all over the world but available in Asia only. Things have changed and all places do accept the Chinese Yuan for transactions. Do take note that private vendors may be short sighted and stubborn enough to only accept Hong Kong Dollars even if the Yuan is worth more. Good news is that some places can take your overseas credit card, but you just need to ask them first to confirm that. This practice is much more common at the airport than anywhere else. Get lost in the food court to choose from all sorts of foods starting from average Joe Mcdonald's to casual Chinese express food. There are dessert stores proffering sweets dipped in chocolate fountains containing some of the richest fondue. Some stores will give you the Japanese style green tea or milk tea brewed in the local Cantonese style. They go very nicely when complemented with ice cream or boba. Either way, you get to choose or sample sometimes what you want them to brew for you. Products are not cheap, but hey this is my swanky town where everything is absolutely inflated. There are several other adjacent malls in the area where you could see if you could a nice deal for cheaper items. During the special holidays, they will decorate the ceilings and the walls with bright lights or decorations. The walkways will be full of people trying to nab the best products before they proceed to enjoy the light show or celebrations. If you ever get lost, people are very willing to help you out and make you feel at home. This futuristic electronic city has been one of the desired emulations for the bigger malls in China now that I think about it. Appreciate the beauty and shop till you drop. Book lovers, they do have a broad scope of subjects for you too!

Yelp
One of the best shopping malls I've been to worldwide. Every variety of store from high end to casual to mid range and every necessity from footwear to clothes and beauty to healthcare can be found here. There are over 500+ stores and brand names sure to satisfy everyone's needs. Great variety of food here to ranging from chain restaurants and Asian delicacies to a wide variety of chocolate, coffee and ice cream boutiques. The luxurious and extravagant storefronts alongside Canton Road are worth a look at as well.

Yelp
Spend, spend and spend some more! To call this place just a shopping mall would be an understatement- its more like an emporium of global brand names and top quality products. I say this because if you have ever been here, you will find that you probably won't buy anything from this place because most of the brands here are focused at Mainland tourists with their pockets lined with cash. This mall together with the street outside (Canton Road), has been likened to Fifth Avenue and Champs Elysse in having the world's top brand names all into one street. The spectacle is that people don't just gawk at the goods here, they buy things and by the dozen- so much so in many of the shops you will actually have to queue in just to have a look. Just look at the number shopping bags people have on them and you will know a rough idea how much they spending here (well into the six figures at times). There are the more normal shops (e.g. The Gap, Uniqlo) for earthlings like ourselves and they are popular with everyone; so don't come here expecting an easy stroll. On busy holidays you will be fighting the crowd here and restaurants are jam packed full. Should you not come here then? Of course you should- this is THE shopping place to be in Hong Kong and I think it would be a shame to miss it. To understand what gives Hong Kong the name of "shopping heaven" you should at least come to see what we offer and the million different ways that we can bankrupt you with. A point of interest would be the entrance at Star Ferry. At different times there would be themed displays and they have generated a lot of interest in the past: cartoon characters (doreamon), Spiderman and the transformers have all been here. Best of all was the huge floating duck made by a (Dutch?) artist which caught the imagination of the local population.

Yelp
Upscale, very touristy mall located in Tsim Sha Tsui. There's free wifi here, which is definitely a huge plus. But the sheer number of tourists/customers here is ridiculous and if you're planning on getting some serious shopping done at a reasonable price, don't come here. You're better off at some other mall, with fewer crowds and line-ups. Even though the mall is huge, there will be crowds no matter which store or restaurant you go to. The decorations at this mall are already usually gorgeous, but during the holiday season they definitely step up their game, and it becomes even more amazing. Granted, it is a top tourist destination, so the effort and money they spend keeping this mall up to date is definitely high.

Yelp
Harbour City is basically the epitome of luxury malls in HK, housing more high-end brands than I can pronounce. Whether you're looking for high quality menswear, evening gowns or designer bags, you'll be able to find at least something to suit your taste - as long as you have the means and the willingness, to splurge. Harbour City is located along Canton Road at the heart of TST. To get there, take the MTR to TST and get out at Exit A. Make a right and walk forward, past the temporary market and garbage disposal place. I always walk along the opposite street when I near it because it seriously reeks. I'm honestly not a fan of Harbour City, because this mall is a maze. It's actually made up of three malls - Ocean Centre, Ocean Terminal and Gateway - and it's hard to tell which one you're in. All I know is that Citysuper is all the way to the right of the mall! Luckily, there are lots of information booths littered around the mall so you can ask for directions if you're lost (which, trust me, you will if it's your first, second or even tenth time there). For me, one of the few things worth checking out at Harbour City is LCX. I don't really know how to describe how to get there, like I said, this place is a maze! There are more affordable brands there such as Quiksilver, Accessorize and American Eagle, and if you walk to near where Starbucks is, there's a section of random knick knacks that remind me of Log On. Speaking of which, there's one near Citysuper and it's always fun to while your time away there if you've got an hour to kill. The rest of Harbour City is really just luxury brands that don't mean much to me. Not my favorite shopping mall in the world, but also too iconic to never set foot in if you live in HK! Note that if you're here on weekends, some parts of the mall do get pretty crowded!
google avatar

Barry T.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite malls in all of HK. It has everything either within the mall itself or not too far away. I like the seasonal displays that this mall also has within the mall or very close by (remember that giant yellow duck in Mid-2013 anyone? Wish it came back)
google avatar

Jana M.

Yelp
Upon entering into this mall, I felt like I was a little girl in a candy store except this was a gigantic mall with a ton of high end American stores that I'm accustomed to. It has every brand that you can think of in this mall. Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Gucci, Fendi, and etc. I had a great time shopping here because guess what! It was tax free duty shopping. Woohoo! My husband didn't like this mall that much because he ended up carrying my bags but I loved every moment of it. I do have to agree with everyone that you will get lost here if you don't know your way around. I didn't have a problem with it because I literally went in almost every store.

Yelp
I remember when I was a kid, my mother always told me the best Christmas decoration in Hong Kong had to be the one outside Harbour City. For some reasons, it seems like all those shopping malls have been trying their hardest how to have the best decoration or exhibitions at their place. For example, the paper mache panda one, Wallace & Gromit, Batman, Doraemon, etc. But honestly, who could have forgotten the Disney one during last Christmas? It has got to be the best one I have ever seen (judging the crowds there). The hundred feet tall Christmas tree that was stacked up with 3 eyed aliens. Different Disney characters greeting you at the entrance and each has their own 'display' theme that provided best photographic moment. To be honest, I can go on all day but I suppose I should talk about the shopping mall itself. Sadly, you have to admit that all shopping malls in Hong Kong are pretty much the same - same stores, same brands, same restaurants, same everything. Currently Harbour City is undergoing (never-ending) renovation, on top of that, there are countless tourists shopping here; so I really do not see much special about this place - except the decoration during festivals. If you were me, I would just come here during festive seasons. And trust me, there will even be more people. Don't get me wrong, I still do love this place as I come here quite often; Yet I love it even more with its creative and original ideas on how to decorate this place.
google avatar

Sunny M.

Yelp
Crowded and filled with mainland China tourists who nearly shopped for medicines and facial products for their next twenty years. It would be a nice place if you are interested in buying clothes and footwear at once. But if you don't, you may find this place useless and tasteless.
google avatar

Reza A.

Yelp
If you are looking for shopping for western brands in Hong Kong, this is the place to be. I wouldn't recommend it for local stuff though.
google avatar

Rowena Y.

Yelp
One of the good and bad things about visiting Hong Kong is that there are a gazillion shopping centers. After a while, it gets boring and you're just too tired of seeing the same brands and stores that are desperately looking for customers to go inside. Some malls are small and others are quite a maze like here at Harbour City. Looking at their map directory drives me insane. No matter how many times I try to look for the "You Are Here" symbol on the map, I just can't seem to find my way out of the maze. My husband and I spent almost 5 hours in this mall...window shopping for the most part. I almost never buy anything in Hong Kong, unless it's a local specialty, because they have pretty much everything I want back in the States (and much cheaper). One thing I noticed that this mall set up their shops according to what they sell. One floor specifically had stores that just sold watches or electronics. I remember walking on one of the floors where all the stores just sold kids toy apparel and accessories. It's also not just your normal, average kids toy apparel. It's super high end like Dolce Gabbana Kids, Burberry Kids, Gucci Kids, etc. There was one store that even sold a mini motorcycle for toddlers. I had no idea what kind of world I walked in to but it was quite obnoxious and pathetic. If you're a fan of luxury, then this mall is worth checking out. Otherwise, it's a waste of time unless you're here to eat at their restaurants.
