I have no issue with the food here (the review is for dining, not a stay), but I have to draw attention to the completely abysmal service we received as a group for our afternoon meal at your hotel back in late October.||The main server was an older lady who was rude, dismissive and completely wrong for any job in service, although sadly she is no doubt the type of arrogant employee who has worked in hotels and restaurants for most of her life and simply doesn't care about the appalling experience she gives to guests, whether resident in the hotel or not. ||What is also concerning is that the junior F&B management on site at the time clearly didn't know how to deal with the matter, even though they were told the issues at the time...at the very least a small discount would have been appreciated as I think I had to get up at least 5 times to try and get someone to assist and to no avail.||Please do not market yourself as a premium dining or hospitality experience if you can't train or employ the right people. Trust me, bad chefs and bad service as well as inept owners who don't want to invest in their business or people is what is killing the UK hospitality industry right now, not government taxes or rates (which are just the tip of the iceberg/icing on the cake). I really am passionate in trying to save businesses by educating and highlighting where they are falling down!||Please train better, understand basic service standards and etiquette and get rid of nasty, old staff who should have retired long ago, and who should never have been in a customer facing role in the first place!||As a side point, what is all the more disappointing was that I dined here with my wife a few years ago and the whole experience and service was impeccable so standards have clearly fallen into the abyss!
