Padstow Harbour Hotel | Best places to stay in Padstow

"The first things you notice when you pull up outside this boutique gem are the view – over bustling fishing boats and charming coastal cottages, and out to sea – and the fresh, sea air. Inside, it’s a welcoming, comfortable place with colourful artwork, contemporary decor and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious, tasteful and newly renovated, and all come with marble bathrooms and free decanters of Gin and Sherry. The light-filled restaurant serves a decent made including many local specialities, and has sea views. It’s ideally set a few minutes’ walk up the hill from Padstow’s picturesque harbour, in the ideal location to explore one of Cornwall’s most charismatic towns, and the delights of the beautiful north Cornish coast. Great for all comers – there’s a sense of privacy for couples, and they’re very welcoming of children. " - Matthew Roach

We hosted our 25th wedding anniversary in the Marine Room. Possibly one of the best views in Padstow overlooking the harbour and the town. A great location for our guests to visit the town and the neighbouring areas. |The service was second to none, the events team were impeccable and on the night the staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and they joined in the fun! |Our room was wonderful with a sea view and balcony. I was reliably informed by our guests that their rooms were great also. |I will look back with such fond memories and much of that is due to the wonderful location and truly fabulous staff at the hotel..

We took our 2 and half year old to have breakfast with santa today and what a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were super attentive, the buffet and cooked breakfast was lovely and the overall experience exceeded expectations. If you had looked at the breakfast with santa at the hotel this year and not booked then I urge you to book next year as it was fantastic. Thank you for making my sons experience a brilliant one

We had a very good 3 day stay. The rooms are very well appointed. Comfortable, warm, beautiful decor. The Jetty restaurant is also very good and the bar has everything you could want. Relaxing space with lovely views, loads of daylight and high ceilings. The service level is high. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay for a couple of nights mid November. Heather was fantastic with all her email assistance and also in person. We couldn’t fault our stay there. Everything was perfect (the staff were all very friendly & helpful, our room was beautiful, food delicious , great location and a wonderful view). If we are ever over there again we would definitely stay. Very highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had the most wonderful stay at the Padstow Harbour Hotel! Caroline was amazing right from my very first enquiry by email — so kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout. She really went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. The room was absolutely stunning — loved the chic coastal interiors, super comfy bed, and it was spotless. Every member of staff was so warm and friendly — even the night porter kindly got me warm milk for my toddler at 2am, which was such a thoughtful touch! The breakfast was delicious, the location couldn’t be better (right by the harbour), and it’s dog friendly too — so next time we’ll definitely be bringing our pup along. Can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay at the Harbour Hotel in Padstow. The place is super cute and charming, and the staff were amazing. Everyone was so friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. When we mentioned we were biking the Camel Trail, they even printed a map for us. The dining options were great, and they were incredibly sweet with our 1-year-old son. Fantastic customer service from start to finish — we’d absolutely stay again.

Not so attractive from the outside but lovely inside. Warm, welcoming and lovely decor. Room was very comfortable, large bed and very good bathroom. Water, coffee and complimentary gin provided. Restaurant and bar very good. Free parking, easy stroll into the harbour area.

Stayed there with the family for a 91st B-day bash. Booked a two night stay on b&b basis + one evening meal and a ream tea. Service - excellent, all very nice and friendly. Food ok, hotel overall adequately clean, but the rooms were not up to standard. We had 3 broken panes of glass in our windows, the carpet was terribly stained and the bed throw was worse for wear to say the least. Not worth the money!
