Where to Eat and Drink in Rehoboth, Dewey, and Lewes, Delaware | Eater Philly

"Harbour offers some of the loveliest views in Lewes along with a kitchen that’s committed to locally sourced produce and sustainable seafood. The result is a seasonally inspired roster of elevated classics: Think beer-battered Chesapeake catfish and Old Bay fries as well as high-minded combos like seared rockfish with beluga lentils and cantaloupe lime salsa." - Caroline Coral

Google
We were early for our reservation, so sat at the "porch" section of the bar, where the view of the canal/marina was excellent. We ordered drinks, which were well made, but it took a while--our server forgot. My wife ordered a chowder for the wait, but our server--forgot. On to dinner, the food was well made, as were the drinks. Shrimp and crab fritters were quite tasty. The shrimp pappardelle was spot on. My crab cakes were as good as any in town. But again, the server in the dining room, maybe it was me, but the brief interaction was just off. And again, my pet peeve was fulfilled when we were ready to leave, and the server and the bill were nowhere to be found. I'll have to be fair and give the place another chance when we're back in town.

Google
The meals were phenomenal (crab cakes and veggies with andouille sausage) and the service was wonderful. Atmosphere was 10/10, too. The portions could have been bigger....they were more like crab balls, not cakes. I understand prices are skyrocketing but at that rate, don't bother to put them on the menu. The risotto was reportedly excellent as were the fish and chips.

While the food looked delicious and plated beautifully we visited for cocktails only. Our cocktails were made perfectly and generous with the spirits. We sat in front of the actual bar in a porch area that was small but cozy with a beautiful view of the canal and the docked boats. Very enjoyable place to grab a drink. Very friendly staff.

This is the best kept secret in Delaware! If you haven’t been at this restaurant, you definitely have to stop by. Their pork chop was out of this world. It’s a thick cut of meat, but so tender and juicy; like it just wanted to melt in your mouth. One of my nephews really liked the crab cake, and the other really enjoyed the lobster tail. Grandpa said the rock fish was very good. Also, don’t forget to have the crème brûlée for dessert. My son loved it and shared some with his Mom. His Mom liked the local Golden Tilefish, but didn’t like the mango for it being a bit too ripe. You might want outside seating to have the best view of the canal. (Just look at the pictures.) Make your reservation ahead of time to ensure you get a table at this place. Ask for Tammy, our server knows the menu well, and can suggest their best dishes.

I went for the ceviche and was not disappointed. Four different types of fish, crab, shrimp, sea bass, yellowfin tuna. All Blended together with lime juice and just a touch of onion spicy pepper great seasonings. Sat on top of sesame seaweed and it was awesome! I also enjoyed a cup of french press coffee. My group was eating a little bit later on that evening and I just wanted to taste some seafood because they're not fine diners. I was recommended to this restaurant by the proprietor of Blue Water House. Great recommendation you should go to.

Google
This place is very romantic with very original and delicious food. We visited for brunch and sat outside on the patio. It is a very romantic, peaceful, elegant setting. Although it is probably best for adults, it is doable with children because Canal square is right around the corner. We took kids to watch crabs on the pier, run around in the park and playground while adults waited for food or the check. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious and healthy for the kids, served in plastic cups. Servers were courteous and attentive and the only reason I downgraded it a star is because of the very long wait - it took 40 minutes to serve the first course, and another 30 for the second. Possibly because they were full that day - Sunday brunch. But the food was excellent. Also, they have a full bar, beautiful waterfront bar seats and great well-balanced and varied cocktails. A good selection of zero proof drinks too, which is great for pregnant and nursing women. Overall, I highly recommend!

My wife and I recently ate dinner here. We had the scallops and the seafood stew (a special entree that was offered). Both were very good. Our server was great ... friendly and attentive. Great views overlooking the water.

Google
I recently celebrated my birthday at Harbor in Lewes, and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The ambiance is beautiful and relaxed with great views and a coastal vibe that feels just right for a special occasion. Every dish we ordered was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff made the evening feel extra special with their attention to detail and friendly attitude. It truly felt like they cared about making our experience memorable. If you’re looking for a place in Lewes to celebrate or just enjoy a great meal, Harbor is a must. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday dinner!

Yelp
Harbour is a cozy restaurant on the water in Lewes with excellent food and service. My wife and I ate here once before and recently had our Anniversary dinner here - everything was fantastic! The drinks are a tad pricey but delicious and strong. Paying for table bread irritates most of us but the bread was fresh and butter tasty. We've had the crab dip, crab chowder, fried oyster appetizers and all were excellent! The pan seared rockfish entree is top notch. Very fresh and delicious. I've also tried the soft shell crab tempura which was simply outstanding! The other dishes we saw being served looked amazing - can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Originially I planned to go to Lewes Oyster House because I love Oyster and I went there last year, but decided to go before we all head back to NY. But we all went to the beach beforehand and wasn't sure when we were all going to be done and be ready for dinner, so I didn't book a resy for us. When we got there, it was fully booked and so, I was panicking, because it seems like every other restaurant were below 4 stars and I would hate to have all of our last dinner at a terrible restaurant. I am not even sure if this was in my bookmark, but finally found Harbour and saw they have a good rating and I am like hopefully they have room for us. I called and I said we're looking for this many seats and would need a high chair and the hostess said, they don't have high chairs, but can accommodate by letting the stroller be near the table. I said, I will have to ask and call her back and so I called her back and said, okay, we'll come and be there shortly. The place has stairway that leads to the restaurant, so just warning anyone who would have trouble getting in due to the steps. Got there and was immediately greeted by smiling faces, the hostess and perhaps the manager, the guy with the mustache - we saw they had a nice view, but we sat inside and it was still a nice view. I asked our waiter, Roy what they are known for and he said their scallops, ceviche, and other things. I ended up getting the ceviche, because he said theirs contained halibut, crab, and shrimp - I love crab and need to get my fix. I saw on the menu, it said it came with wakame and I was picturing the very dark green, almost black seaweed that's great for your health, but when it arrived, it was the seaweed salad and I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, seaweed salad is not really nutritious or healthy like wakame, but I still prefer to eat seaweed salad over wakame, since I only eat it for the health benefits. But this place should not call this wakame, because it's not wakame. Nevertheless, this dish was a winner for me, it was so damn good. My only complaint about this dish is the Crispy Wonton. They should serve it with something not as hard. Like the Crispy Wonton was seriously, crispy - like hurts my tooth sort of crispy. PEI Mussels were great as well, but I still want more of the ceviche, like I wish I tried this restaurant last year, because I would have came here a lot sooner. Brisket - not my cup of tea, because I am not really into meat, and plus, I am very picky when it comes to brisket. Calamari - good, but I wish they put the aioli on the side rather than drizzled already on the dish. I was really curious about the Hot Crab Dip, but didn't get it because I wasn't sure if it would be too salty and no one else in the party would eat it. I just want to shout out to the hostess, Lorraine - like she was super nice on the phone and even nicer in person. Like she really made our night. I am so happy that I stumbled on this place, because everyone here, the mustache dude, waiter - Roy, and Lorraine really knows the hospitality industry. If I come back Lewes another year, I am definitely coming back here again and hopefully Lorraine would still be here. She's such an angel!

Yelp
I can't rave enough about our dinner at Harbour Restaurant last night. First the atmosphere is simple and elegant, the staff attentive and gracious. Then came the food, the best crab dip appetizer EVER, we also had the salmon and bouillabaisse followed by the pumpkin cheesecake. Bottom line is that we found another great restaurant to enjoy and will be back!!
google avatar

Matt H.

Yelp
Really lovely spot! We had the crab cakes, Bouillabaisse and scallops and we can't speak highly enough of each. The flavors were all on point and we were extremely satisfied. Our waitress could not have been sweeter and honestly really made the experience even better. The ambience is cute and cozy. We will 100% be back to Harbour and it's become a new staple in Lewes for us.

Yelp
Came with friends - off season and later in the evening. That made our visit even more special as we essentially had the place to ourselves. Friends live in the area and told us this was a required stop. They were right! Even walking up the front steps is beautiful. Every detail taken care of. We were seated right away. Fireplace added to ambiance. The dining room is so cozy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our food was phenomenal and paired with a wine, perfectly. Mussels, oysters, soups, salads and entrees were flawless. No room for desert.

Yelp
We just had an incredible dinner at Harbour at Canal Square. September is the BEST time of year for crab dishes, and the weather is perfect this week. Highly recommend making your own reservations for the patio if you love seafood with a pretty view.

Leeahna B.

Yelp
The view is beautiful, food is good and staff are very friendly and helpful. We would come here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun spot for happy hour! Beautiful view of the bay/harbor. The portions are somewhat small but quality was decent and drinks were good.

Steve S.

Yelp
Although I am not a fan of seafood, an out-of-town friend made reservations for July 3 so we could get together with a group. The menu had a few meat options, including brisket, which I intended to order. But they were out of brisket, so I ordered a NY strip steak with gratin potatoes. The steak was way over-priced for what was presented, a chewy, fatty piece of meat and the potatoes were served cold. They did warm them up, but they added way too much butter or oil which emitted a strong odor. Not very appealing. They really were sub-par. Disappointed. The rest of our group ordered seafood and were satisfied, but not overwhelmed. I guess this is not the place to order anything but seafood and even then, it is not exclusive by any means. The location is on the canal which is very nice and the service was friendly and not overbearing. But, I was disappointed in the food quality for the price.

Yelp
This is place is so Lewes! The food, the vibe, the amazing service, the view of the harbour is such a reflection of this beautiful historic town. We came with a large group on a rainy evening and no reservations. I was certain that we wouldn't be seated for all of the above reasons but we were seated shortly with that gorgeous view of the harbour. Our server, Kim, was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu & pleasantly patient with our many questions. Kim was great! We started w a mango burrata w balsamic glaze - simple but amazing w the flavours really complimenting each other. I ordered the Special - Lobster tail w a potato gratin & perfectly sautéed green beans. The lobster was perfectly cooked. Tender & sweet as it should be! It was devoured! The only sad part is they were out the coconut cake for the night. This is only a reason to go back to this fantastic restaurant!

Yelp
Came for wife's birthday and the staff was very nice to her. Thursday is half off bottles of wine and a shrimp with pasta dish. Wife had that . I had the roasted duck with came with grilled vegetables. The meal was delicious. Desert was Smith Island cake - can't go wrong with that . Restaurant is on the canal so there is great waterfront views. Place during the summer has a beautiful deck for outdoor dining
google avatar

Antonia N.

Yelp
With all the great reviews, we went to Harbour for our Anniversary. Let me start with some positives - the staff are all SUPER NICE and accommodating. They definitely made our evening special, but the food was not good. We started with lobster beignets that were flavorless and had very little lobster. Then we moved onto our entrees. My husband had the brisket - it had a good flavor but was super dry. It desperately needed more gravy. My entree was a total disaster. The duck breast fat was not properly rendered - it was rubbery. The meat itself was over cooked and flavorless. The side risotto was just plain strange - coconut lime? No. Doesn't work. At least we got free dessert... it was just ok too. SIGH!
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
Above and beyond service as well as food and drinks. The coconut cake was AMAZING. Drinks were well made and the shrimp pasta was excellent. Not to mention the crème brûlée and apple desserts were out of this world. Beautiful ambience by the harbor. Highly recommend for a romantic night out :)

Yelp
As you can see from my last review, this is my second time visiting here for Sunday brunch in June. I was here for Father's Day Sunday brunch at 1pm. I booked my reservation on OpenTable using my $25 OpenTable Mastercard credit, which I also used last time. Tammy, our server again was able to apply my $25 OpenTable Mastercard credit to my bill. It was sunny and warm today, therefore, we were seated outside at a rail table for four overlooking the canal. I again started with my spicy bloody Mary, which was included in their Sunday Brunch prix fixe 2 course brunch of $39. Tammy recommended the clams oreganata over the Maryland crab chowder. I again started with and enjoyed my first course of clams oreganata with crispy smoked bacon, bell peppers, cheddar, panko and herb crumb. I also again enjoyed my second course of shellfish steam pot with shrimp, calms, mussels, chorizo, cherry tomato and grilled sourdough bread. I ended my brunch with the Night Rider black Manhattan with Sagamore rye whiskey, Averna Amaro, Mancino Rosso Amaranto Vermouth, cocoa bitters and orange twist for $15. Again, Tammy served us very well. We agreed we will return here again for another Sunday brunch.
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
Delicious $39 brunch menu on Sunday with a free drink. Great view of the harbor and perfect spot for a walk downtown after

Aure S.

Yelp
My daughter chose this restaurant for Mother's Day brunch. The location is nice, if the sun is not shining at you directly. We came after the main rush and had to wait for the table to be cleaned. It took awhile. We were seated at the table and waited for the server. After waiting for 25 min nobody came to offer water. We got attention only when we went to the kitchen to look for somebody to bring us water. Dirty tables around were unsightly. Clearly they did not have enough staff. The couple at the next table waited for their food for 1.5 hours, and they were brought wrong orders. We are foodies: visited numerous restaurants in the beach area and enjoy entertaining at home. The bread basket was nice. It does not make sense to bake sweets in the house with so many bakeries around. The quality of the food is just OK, and it might be because of the busy kitchen. I am not sure whether I am coming back for regular dinner or lunch. The price for the brunch was steep too, like in the city high end restaurant. Food: 3 Service:1
google avatar

Don K.

Yelp
Best entrees we have had in quite a while. Both the brisket and the stuffed flounder were excellent and the portions were a good value for the quality. What I can not recommend is the cheese tray. Overpriced and really, four pieces of crusty bread for the entire tray? No other crackers. Speaking of bread, be prepared to spend $8. Lastly, the desserts are an embarrassment for the prices charged. When you are paying $10-14 for a slice of cake or a slice of bread pudding (you read that right, a slice), you should expect that you get a reasonable portions. These were tiny and had we not gotten them to go and only saw them at home, I would have refused them. Bottom line, definitely go and get the excellent entrees with a wonderful view. But skip the appetizers and desserts.

Matty P.

Yelp
Food was outstanding and definitely chef-y (no salt & pepper shakers at the table). A cut above. Limited menu, but we could easily find a few excellent choices. Desserts are made in house. We didn't have a table by the window, but we could still see the view. My dh got the bouillabaisse (outstanding) and I got the crab cake. Crab cake was very good (I'm really picky), but the potatoes and the asparagus were to die for! We got the fruit tart and it was sized to share and it was SO good! Pricing was very fair for what we got. A great experience, would highly recommend for at least any special occasion, or maybe just a nice dinner away from the hustle and bustle of a resort town. Side note-wait staff was a little more 'seasoned' than what you find a little south of Lewes, and it was very much appreciated. No chatty 18 year old in your face. Much more refined here. In fact, everything was more refined without being stuffy. Dress was nice-casual but not sloppy. The owners stopped by the table & kept a close eye on everything, beautifully straddling the line between intrusive and nonchalance. Well done!

Yelp
Charming restaurant sitting by the water on the canal. The look and feel of a coastal spot was perfect. They have an outdoor space as well as an open bar with seating facing the canal ...and at sunset was picturesque! Both the scallops and shrimp tagliatelle dishes were excellent. The service was a little slower than expected but our server, the manager and even the host me by to frequently check on us. A quaint gem in Lewes...would definitely return!
google avatar

Paul A.

Yelp
With an average prices of $30-$40 for an entrée Harbour is one of the top end restaurants in Lewes, it is also easily the best and so well worth the cost and a visit. The food runs to American and a French variation, like bouillabaisse but made with north American fish instead of Mediterranean but it is very good. Like wise the drinks menu has been given a lot of attention and still has suggestions such as "Like a French 75" to give you ideas what it is. My wife and I experimented and they were very good. To look at the places is done in subdued colors with neutrally colored baffles on the ceiling artfully placed to mute sounds and keeping the noise level low. The bar is a work of beauty and the views of the canal are lovely. I would suggest making a reservation as the season wears on. They were able to fit my wife and I in but I think had it been a bit later this could have been a problem. Lewes has lots of places for good food but this should certainly be on your list of places to visit. It can be a bit pricey, but it's worth it.
google avatar

Kristin E.

Yelp
Everything at Harbour was exceptional. Food, service and drinks were outstanding! Gary and Lorraine and staff always know how to make a dinner amazing!

Carol T.

Yelp
We were greeted by a friendly hostess. Our waiter Dan was excellent. Made suggestions and was very attentive. Can't wait to return. Our meal met our expectations plus. Dessert was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing and elegant at the same time. We will make sure we make reservations next time so we can guarantee to have a great experience again.
google avatar

Keith S.

Yelp
Great overall ambience and upscale dining experience. The seating arrangement, especially on the outside deck achieves that trademark waterfront dining atmosphere you desire when dining at the beach. Being seated directly above the marina, we occasionally got a whiff of the dockside aroma which is typical of such a setting, but that was few and far between. The food was quite good although the portions were not large. Our server assured us that the kitchen takes customer allergies seriously, which we appreciated. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the salt in at least the dishes we had (Grilled Mahi Mahi and Fish & Chips). The outside can get a bit cool in the evening so bring a sweater or light jacket if you're prone to get chilled. Overall, Harbour Lewes is a classy beach town restaurant with nice views of the canal and marina.
google avatar

Laura T.

Yelp
I adored our dinner at Harbour. Not only do they have a wheelchair accessible elevator and a friendly staff, but the food and drinks were fantastic. We had a gorgeous view of the water and were all so stuck on what to order, as everything looked delicious. I ordered a Ruby Slipper cocktail(think- cranberry French 75) and followed it up with a perfect glass of Honig Sauvignon blank from Napa that paired so nicely with my seared scallops and spring veggie risotto. I was so excited; I haven't had a scallop that tender in ages. Standout experience for sure!
google avatar

Debra E.

Yelp
There isn't much to say beyond Harbour is the best waterfront dining on Delmarva. That truly says it all. Usually you have a great view or great food, but not both. Then add impeccable services, a lovely and comfortable space, and right in downtown. The experience is so special that, as a local, I selfishly hesitate to post a review because reservations are already hard to get. Impeccably prepared food comes out of this kitchen consistently and is served by professional and polished servers with no attitude. The cocktails are creative, delicious, and pretty. Be sure to get dessert, as they are scratch made and delicious. This beautiful space and location finally has a restaurant that lives up to the view. We always have a very special date night when we dine at Habour!

Susan A.

Yelp
We had a great dinner at Harbour last evening. The highlight was my whole sea breem. It was delicious - cooked with lemon and fresh herbs bunded inside. We also loved the tempura fried peppers - the tempura batter was minimal which is how it should be. My only criticism of Harbour is I wish they would serve good bread for free. Their baguette is not great nor free. For the entree prices (pretty much all in the $40s), I don't think a good bread basket is too much to ask for.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
Loved every second of our experience here. Service was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks are creative and delicious and homemade desserts are a real treat! Be sure to book your reservation early so you can get a table on their outdoor deck with gorgeous water views.

James B.

Yelp
The food (mostly seafood) was wonderful, the service was thoughtful and attentive, and the view was very nice (we ate outside on a porch). Highly recommended.

Yelp
Last night we enjoyed the most amazing dinner we have experienced in quite some time. We were seated by the lovely hostess at a table in front of the window with a beautiful view of the canal. We were then taken care of by Kim, and she is the perfect server. She knows everything you could think to ask (and my husband does!). She's super efficient and took time to offer suggestions when we asked. Our entire meal deserves kudos. We ordered the mussels and crab dip for appetizers. When they say lump crab meat, they really mean LUMP! The bowl was overflowing with giant lumps of delicious Maryland crab and the Vermont cheddar put it over the top. For our dinner we chose the beef brisket and scallops. The wonderful flavor of the brisket and especially the gravy was in full force. The potatoes were also on point, so so so good! The scallops were cooked perfectly and with the risotto made the perfect pair. We chose the strawberry Smith Island cake for dessert, need I say more? From cocktails to dessert we have only good things to say. You won't be sorry if you give this place a try.

Courtney C.

Yelp
We had an amazing Sunday brunch here. Service and food were both phenomenal. The prix fixe menu was a great value. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

Jess A.

Yelp
The service here is amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. They were so kind and helpful with our two toddlers. The food was also delicious, as well as their drinks! And of course, the view was beautiful. 100% would recommend!

Pamela M.

Yelp
The food was excellent the service was not what you would expect. Waitress was absent and that was because she knew ahead of time that she was getting 22% tip auto added to a table of 6.

Jonathan P.

Yelp
We have been here many times. The last two times have been sub par. Service tonight was terrible. Caesar salad was very small and my steak was fatty. Portions have gotten smaller. Very disappointing. And it was around $120 with tip.
google avatar

Gwin V.

Yelp
First of all, I have to say that the staff at Harbour is so amazing! The manager (Nicole) helped us a lot with our reservation, which changed a few times... and our server (Tia) was great too. The view and the atmosphere at Harbour was unmissable, and the food was great too. We had a few appetizers that were fantastic (shrimp toast, clams oreganata, hot crab dip and tuna tartare) that were all great; for the main courses, the flounder and the crab tails were both big hits at our table. I can't wait to go back when it's warmer out so we can sit outside.

Lauren W.

Yelp
I had a beautiful pre-mothers day brunch with mom and dad at Harbor, we enjoyed the delicious pre-fixe menu with Bloody Mary or Mimosa. We've always enjoyed the canal view at this location and the latest redesign of the dining room makes a serene backdrop to the meal.

Marie G.

Yelp
We had dinner at Harbour Saturday night. I Had the daily special of flounder stuffed with crabmeat. The flounder had so many bones it was difficult to eat. I could not finish it. I quietly told the waitress and she said that she would tell the chef. She did not seem fazed or care that the dinner was unfinished. I will not be returning. there are better restaurants in town.
google avatar

J S.

Yelp
Very good restaurant beautiful atmosphere and dinner was delicious. Cheese Board was perfect and Rockfish was delicious. Service very good as well.

Colleen M.

Yelp
Sunday party of 2 for wedding anniversary got a great table view of the canal, however 3 stars basically because of Tom our server he's very friendly but I don't need you in my personal space every time you come to the table. I have to say the stars were appetizer, heirloom salad & sorbet were great the shrimp entree was good but the scallops needed work. Also no substitutions or salt & pepper table side. We are willing to come back to try brunch however not with Tom as our server, honestly thought as some point he was going to sit down at our anniversary dinner

Toni F.

Yelp
Best place in Lewes for a cocktail . Lovely harbor views , attentive service and quality cuisine

Greg C.

Yelp
A nice combination of location and good food. The bar and restaurant overlook the harbor, and the ambiance is serene and sophisticated. Service is very good at both the bar and restaurant. The food is good enough not to distract from the experience, but it is far from stellar. It is perhaps the fifth or sixth ranked restaurant in downtown Lewes based on food quality alone. Brisket was very dried out. And some of the side dishes were lacking in flavor. Crab cakes were very good and made my meal. Prices are reasonable in this kind of location. That said, we will be back once or twice a year to re-experience the harbor view and great service.

Jan T.

Yelp
I had a price fixed dinner at Harbour last night for Valentines Day. I ordered bisque soup which had previously been microwaved and had little flavor and a lobster tail. The tail was flat and almost tasteless. I'm so disappointed in the food considering the price. The staff was great and the atmosphere lovely but the food was not good
google avatar

Krista M.

Yelp
My fiancé made us a reservation here for after his proposal. He told me after that he requested a special table, which they definitely accommodated by giving us a nice seat right by the windows facing the water, in a beautiful dining room. First of all, the staff here was amazing. The hostess was so sweet, asked how the proposal went and was so happy for us. And our waiter, who I am so disappointed I can't remember the name of, was amazing. He was SO SWEET and so kind! Also so helpful, and so congratulatory as well on the engagement. We got appetizers, bread, and entrees and it was all delicious. It's slightly on the higher end price wise but not obscene by any means. I would say it's priced accordingly to the ambience and quality and service. I can't wait to make this our new tradition!
google avatar

Roy L.

Yelp
There are not enough positive adjectives to describe an evening meal at Harbour. Sitting at the bar overlooking the canal started with amazing cocktails. Then continues with meeting wonderful people and having, get this, a great conversation. Now I've not yet gotten to the meal. The swordfish was fantastic and the wife' could not stop raving about the scallops. A five star rating that is totally justified!!

Yelp
The success to any restaurant is in the details of service and food. The place is lovely and certainly upscale looking . The view is perfect! When we checked in , we mention we were here for our 50 th anniversaries . Pretty special... right? The waitress came over wished us a happy anniversary and asked about drinks. We only ordered ice teas becz it's customary to receive a small glass of champagne or to be asked if we'd like one . Nothing! The food was very good but they forgot my husband's side . We said something to the waitress and she said it''s coming . Now, he 's 1/2 way done w/ his dinner and it's still not there . So I went over to the hostess and she said she'd check on it but my husband was almost finished and cancelled it. The food was fine minus the brisket too dry ( no gravy) and my wedge salad was a plate of mixed greens w/ modest amt of blue cheese and ssprinkle of bacon. It was a disappointing experience.

Yelp
So glad to check out this fine dining with an awesome water view! Seafood entrees were excellent. Service was great too. We enjoyed the crab dip as well as the creme brûlée and peach blueberry crisp dessert too. Go make a reservation for a special and relaxing dining.

Yelp
Swordfish was A+ one of the best meals we've had in Sussex county. Nice view of the canal

Yelp
Delicious food, great setting. My husband had the brisket and it was the most tender meat ever. Our server was sweet and very attentive. Awesome adults only dinner in Lewes!

Yelp
Nice quiet dining spot in the heart of town. Food is fresh and well prepared. Great service and fair prices.

Yelp
As we were leaving, having dropped $700-800 for our food, three customers of color were refused entry. They were told in a very nasty manner that their reservations had been canceled online at 12:10 that day. We found it highly unlikely that the people had come to the fancy restaurant, in the rain, all dressed up, if they had canceled their reservations. Harbur won't get any more money from us.
