Hard Pressed Burgers

So I’m riding down Edgewood Ave. South and I see this food truck called “Hard Pressed” sitting in front of “Chancho’s” restaurant. Mind you, we rarely get food trucks over here, plus I’m a burger fan so I just had to stop and try it. OH MY GOODNESS….SO DELICIOUS! The burger was great, but what really impressed me were the fries! They were so soft inside, yet somehow crispy on the outside 😋 ❤️ I honestly can’t wait for next Tuesday to roll around so I can come back.

Mirel was super nice and charming, made me the best burger I’ve ever had in my life!! I ordered the bacon jalapeño burger! I am telling all my friends about this place, and coming back again!!! 🥰

This hamburger was absolutely cooked to perfection. I really loved it and after finishing it I really wanted more it was just that good. Service was friendly and fast so this place checks all the boxes!

Needs more options for burgers. But it was really good. I had jalapeños onions and bacon in mine with the white sauce. The cheese fries were a beer cheese that was very cheddar flavored, personally a huge fan. Not a low grade nacho cheese. I would easily come back. Place to eat is attached to brewery. We got lucky and got patio seats outside at the counter.

First things first. The burgers were absolutely delicious. The next time I am in town I will definitely be coming back. The food truck and the combination with the Ink Factory Brewery was just perfect. I happened to find this spot and so glad we came here. Beers were delicious and went perfectly with the burger and loaded fries. They also have a cafe and a shop. Cool vibes.

The hard-pressed burger was delicious! Crispy edges and favor combo was perfect! Vibe of the brewery was perfect to sit and enjoy our lunch. I visit Jax frequently and feel like I've found a new go to place for lunch by the beach!

I was unfortunately so unimpressed with Hard Pressed and I feel like you can see why in the pictures of food. There was barely any meat in the burger, it was just the crispy burnt remnants. The fries were also unremarkable and nothing to write home about. They were just normal fries with some Parmesan pieces thrown on top. I'm not sure where the "garlic" part is. The only pro is that the people were nice and kind. I'm glad they're busy and popular, they're just not for me personally. I was really hoping for better.

I just had the bacon and jalapeno burger with fries and it was SO DELICIOUS! It had some type of white sauce on it that blew me away. I can't remember the name of it. Aohlie? I know I'm spelling it wrong... Sorry. It's the first time I've seen them over here in Murray Hill on the Westside, so I just had to stop and try them. Let me tell you, I'm so happy that I did! The food, service and location is absolutely outstanding. So you guys should RUN not walk over here on Tuesday, when you're in the mood for a great burger & fries. You can thank me later!

My family got to try Hard Pressed for the first time yesterday. First impression was that the staff were kind and helpful/knowledgeable on the menu. We ate in the open air section and it was very clean. I do wish that all of the tables weren't high tops, but it was nice to have since we were eating at a food truck. The burgers had great flavor, though I think mine may have been a little over done. My 10 year old typically isn't a fan of smash burgers but he LOVED this one and had zero complaints. The pickles were great and had a very unique flavor! My one year old is a connoisseur of French fries. We tried the regular fries and the garlic Parmesan fries that come with the garlic aioli. We got a side of house made ranch to try with the fries as well. My one year old ate almost an entire order of fries by himself! Needless to say he absolutely loved them. You can tell they were very fresh. The ranch was dill heavy and light. I usually love a garlic aioli, but this one wasn't my favorite. I can't really put a finger on what it was though. Overall, I would make the stop again.

Was excited to try their burgers. Ordered two hard pressed burgers, one double patty and the Pressed fries. Overall the flavors were decent but found the patties a little too pressed for my liking. It was just really crunchy. My bf enjoyed it much more than I did. The fries were OK but had too much sauce on it. Enjoyed the jalapeños though. They're set up outside of the sink Factory and has indoor and outdoor seating.

Smashburgers are my favorite! I was really excited to finally try Hardpressed while at Ink Factory. Hubby placed our order, received a buzzer then picked it up a few minutes later. I went with the single Hardpressed burger and he chose the double Hardpressed burger. We shared a regular order of fries. The burger itself was meaty and cheesy, perfectly balanced with the garlic aioli, pickles and caramelized onions. Salted well, just the right amount of greasiness. The bun soaked up everything well. Hubby really enjoyed his double. The fries were hand-cut and crispy yet still pillowy inside. All in all, Hardpressed is serving up great burgers and fries. Simple menu that's executed well!

Man, for all the rave reviews on FB we were beyond disappointed. Our smash burgers were burned (not just crispy, like simply burned) and prices for what we got were soooo expensive. $25 later, my husband and I were both still hungry and super bummed. We expected way better after seeing other reviews and pics. We will not be back unfortunately.

I had some of these in a tent they put up at Congaree and Penn. They lived up to expectations: delicious! Certainly among the best in town. We got one Hardpressed burger (without pickles, which I hate) and one cheseseburger. We weren't sure which was our favorite. Both are worth getting again. I think I ended up preferring the cheeseburger, to which we added my favorite sauce mix: ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. They didn't have the usual extras like tomatos and lettuce. We just got two burgers (pretty small), a Sprite, and some chips, and it came to $23.65.

This place is very good. The food is made to order( it's a food truck). Every thing was hot. I enjoyed this meal till the last bite. I will certainly stop by when I'm in the area.

Wow wow wow! my husband wanted a burger so we decided to give this place a try and I'm so mad that we tried it. Lol it is the best freaking burger I think I've ever had in my life. I thought I was gonna need a box because it was so big, but I surprised myself I couldn't stop eating it definitely new fans!!!! People were amazing as well!!!

Absolutely delicious smash burgers and fries outside of Ink Factory Brewing! The burgers were perfectly crispy on the edges, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. The fries were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. Fast service, friendly staff, and a must if you're at Ink Factory! Availability depends on the day.

This food truck has some of the best burgers ever. Flavor and texture were nice. Prices are fair. Service was fine. Would like to try again sometime. It's a food truck so no seating.

Love this place. The burgers are amazing. Service quick and with a smile. It's a food truck so you the ambiance has to go to Ink Brewing since the truck is located in the parking lot. But the great place, to stop, enjoy a beer and chow down on a good burger.

Great service. Social media brought us in. The sloppy Joe special was delish but didn't look exactly like the pic the regular burger was also yummy. Hey a double or a triple. The crust was on point. Fries good and crispy and cheese sauce legit

I tried Hard Pressed foodtruck a few months back. I was at Jax Beach and did a search on Yelp and found they were close by. They are located in the parking lot of Ink Factory Brewing. I waited to order about 10 minutes. It was a busy Friday night, so the wait time for my food was about 20-30 minutes. It was worth the wait! I ate in my car as I didn't want the food to get cold lol. I had a single cheeseburger with everything and fries with beer cheese. The burger was so juicy and flavorful! I don't know what kind of seasoning they used, but it was on point. And I liked how they put the bun on the grill. The fries were hot and deliscious. I don't typically order fries, but I'm so glad I ordered on this occasion. I usually dip in ketchup, but I highly recommend the beer cheese. Even with the long wait, I will absolutely go back to Hard Pressed again soon!

If you haven't tried Hard Pressed Burger yet, you are missing out on the best burger in Jax. The smash burgers are a special blend of short rib and brisket smashed into caramelized onions, topped with American cheese plus their amazing house pickles and garlic aioli. Every flavor works perfectly together to create delicious bites. I love pairing my double with their garlic parm fries, or skipping fries and getting the triple. They do pop ups around town but we are lucky to have them permanently posted at Ink Factory Brewing Th-Sun of each week. You can grab a seat and a beer inside IFB while waiting on your HPB order. It's the perfect setup!

The smash burgers are absolutely amazing. We ordered the Hard Pressed and the Jalapeño and they were each spectacular in their own way. The Jalapeño one was spicy and the crispy bacon with the jalapeño was just perfect. Absolutely delicious! The Hard pressed smash burger was very flavorful and probably the best smash burger that we have had. Would definitely recommend. The service was excellent- served hot and nothing greasy just delicious. The fries- we got the regular fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Will come back for certain. Ambience is cool in the INK brewery patio.

This a bad lil' food trailer offering simple ingredients cooked to perfection. Grilled Onions are a must and opt for the Parm Fries. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but it's parked next to a brewery if your into nasty hop juice.

These are the best burgers you will ever have in your life and if you don't try them then you might as well just seek therapy bc there is something wrong with you. Seriously rethink your life. The pickles are so mf good they are tangy af. The burgers get crispy on the edges and it's delicious. I took my parents to get HP and they both said they would rather have the burgers as a child than me which is fine I completely agree. 12/10

All I could say was "now that's a burger", very juicy I loved the white sauce and jalapeño concoction they put on it. Each bite was bursting with flavor . The employees were nice and helped me navigate what I wanted I'm also glad we were able to get some cheese on the side cause it was bussin when you dipped the burger in it. It was raining outside but the food truck had a tent you could stand under which was nice, it seemed like the best place to go to for lunch, hangovers or a dinner with friends to catch up with And the burger is worth the $12

Damn great smash burger. Best on the island. Get the double stack jalapeño burger. Outstanding! Fries very good also. I will be back!

This place is DYNAMITE, a must try! We took the Ferry to get to this place and boy was it worth it. The hard pressed burger was truly the best burger of my life. Next time we visit, we will be coming back! Excellent food and service.

The burger is amazing. Staff was a little unhelpful and seemed to be in a rush even tho there was no line. It's outside of Ink brewery so traffic is good.

We always love hitting Hard Pressed at Ink. Hands down the best burgers around us in the beaches area. We always get both the jalapeño bacon and standard hard pressed and share. The jalapeño is perfectly spicy and the standard is that classic American taste you want. They press the burgers into onion in the griddle and they char up, perfect. Can't say enough about how good these are. They have several fry options too; I am partial to the beer cheese, they also have loaded and garlic parm.

As a mom with a child with an egg allergy, it's frustrating when an establishment acts with disregard and lack of courtesy or compassion to CHECK A LABEL for a customer. I wish we didn't order from them simply because of how rude the cashier and chef were when asked if they can check to see if the potato rolls had egg. Off the cuff you can assume it does but I know Martin's potato rolls is egg free. They didn't bother checking or offering an option for my little girl and we had to find her meal elsewhere after our order. The burgers were decent but the people weren't so they won't get return business. Based on a Facebook post seems like they do use Martin's potato buns which would have been safe for my girl to eat. Parents with kids with allergies eat out, too. The service industry is hard, but remember to be kind and offer options.

Hard Pressed is awesome, sure it's not fine dining, it's a food trailer! It's in the parking lot at Ink Brewing, one of our go to places in Neptune Beach. The burgers, fries hotdogs are great, you can order them to go or enjoy them in the brewery. The guys are great, the service is quick. I'd like to say stay away because it's typically busy and we have a hart time finding a table but seriously, this is a fun time - grab a burger on a Friday evening and stay for music trivia.

Ive had some good smash burgers, but the moment I took a bite of that burger my mind exploded, and I ain't even a local here. whatever yall doin keep doin it, because those are by far the burgers I've tried so far. straight gas straight fire.

Unreal. Went to Ink with the sole purpose of grabbing these burgers. Ordered a double bacon jalapeño burger, double hard pressed burger, & beer cheese fries. Bacon jalapeño was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Patty's were smashed perfectly, great ratio of cheese to beef, & jalapeños were just the right amount of spice. Hard pressed burger was a close second. Same kind of deal, except the jalapeños were replaced with pickles. The garlic aioli is the cherry on top, would get an extra on the side next time because it's so good. Beer cheese fries where nothing special but don't let that fool you because this place is fantastic! Can't wait to come back!
