Detroit Restaurant Experts Predict the News and Trends for 2020 | Eater Detroit

"The former rock-themed café location has been referenced as a potential site for a major new tenant—specifically the rumor about a large casual-dining chain moving in—making the vacant venue a focal point of speculation despite widespread doubt about the plan." - Brenna Houck

Wow! I've always heard stories about how cool this place is, but I've never been able to go. As a rock and roll fan, and a guy who loves food I must say I was as happy as a hog in slop. The food was damn good for the price, and given the location I expected it to be more. I loved all the decor, and even got pictures of myself and my family in front of the wall "hard rock Cafe Niagara Falls" its a cool experience and I hope to be able to visit some more across the nation. If you do get the nachos appetizer, you probably won't be hungry enough to finish your main entree, and the sweet basil strawberry lemonade was to die for

We stopped in here after riding the Maid of the Mist and it was fabulous! The food and service was amazing! Thank you for making our vacation even more fun😊

We waited for a few minutes to be seated, but once seated, our server Chelsey came over right away. She brought our water to us right away. Our drinks, Long Island Tea, were brought quickly and delicious! I ordered the grilled chicken/ Caesar salad and my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and fries. The food came quickly as well. And was delicious also ! Chelsey was very attentive , checked back often but not hovering. Would definitely recommend The Hard Rock!

Our server was quick and gracious. Was very knowledgeable about every question asked. We purchased a souvenir glass, which states we were at Niagara Fall, NY. Food was to the point. Fajitas steak and Ribeye were a good option, definitely. Will suggest to friends and family if ever here. Great time, ambience, and music.

Came in for lunch. Food tasted great. Nachos were huge and very flavorful and fresh. Got the smash burger. Felt a little small for price but was a solid burger. Decor inside is awesome if a fan of rock and roll but typical to other hard rocks. The only con is the wait time. Expect 30+ mins for food to come out.

Had the opportunity to try them out over Labor Day weekend and our experience with Sarah the bartender is what brought us back three nights in a row! I highly recommend sitting at the bar and ordering from there, you won’t be disappointed!! Sarah was absolutely AMAZING and you can tell she loves her job! Not only was she very engaged with the customers, she even got us all to do the wave around the bar. We only ate there the first night, food was fantastic but we did stop every night after being in Canada for a couple of drinks before heading back to our hotel. Sarah even remembered my friend Jackie from being there in March! Hell I’d go back just for Sarah and her AMAZING EXPRESSO MARTINI’S she turned me onto!

Have been to Hard Rock Cafes all around the world. They are wonderful. The atmosphere is incredible. The memorialiliba is priceless and timeless. Food differs from location to location. Still has some of the best bargains for portions you can find. The desserts are always awesome too. Alcoholic drinks tend to be expensive. Free WiFi. Clean facility. Clean Washrooms. Friendly staff. Fast kitchen. No credit card surcharge. The Rock Shop is has a very unique guitar mounted to the ceiling. Once a countdown clock for New Year's Eve. This location can be very busy during peak season. Of course in true Hard Rock cafe style, there is live music on certain nights. Awesome stage. Awesome bar. Always a great place to see.

Google
A large group here while in town in business. We met at the bar for drinks first and had planed on eating, but our fault big group, no reservations, we really enjoyed our time at the bar. One bartender handling a crowded bar with no issues. He was very enthusiastic and still chat while keeping up his busy schedule. Didn't get yo take many pictures as I thought we would be there longer.

Yelp
I'm not sure what people don't like about this Hard Rock. The place is NEXT DOOR to Niagara Falls. The staff is great. The ambiance even better and the food is HR good. I realize it's a tourist place, but take it from a guy who's been to almost all of the domestic and international locations.....Niagara rocks with the best of them!!

Yelp
Well on vacation I decided that I was going to eat my face off at tourist trap spots. First stop, Hard Rock Cafe. I showed up here and went right to the host stand. Told them it was just me and they suggested that I take a seat at the bar. I was completely fine with that and thought it was a great idea. However, after sitting at the bar for ten minutes without being acknowledged and signaling to the bartender I was there, I got up to go back to the host stand. It wasn't as if he didn't see me, we made eye contact several times, but he did everything he could to not come over to me, make drinks, talk to coworkers that stopped by the bar, whatever he could. Back at the host stand, I told them I would rather have a table since I was basically ignored at the bar. They apologized for that and took me to the a table for four, I could have done with a table for two, but I took whatever they gave me. Finally at a table and menu in hand I just had to wait for a server to show up. Her name was Chrissy and she was amazing. Give her a raise because everything she said was spot on. In fact, I am still waiting for a response from the survey on the receipt, nothing ever came through. I looked over the menu and decided on the Jumbo Pretzel to start with and then the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger for the main course. Chrissy was on it again. She highly recommended both and said to make sure to use the beer cheese for the pretzel. Again, spot on. I didn't eat the whole pretzel as I knew my burger would be coming out soon. Chrissy was right about this burger as well. She told me it was going to be messy, but it was the best thing on the menu. She was correct. When she stopped back around she suggested to try the fries in the beer cheese as well. Spot on again. I was so full that I had to take some of it with me. When she brought me a to go container she gave me more beer cheese to enjoy with the rest of the pretzel. Before leaving she told me which area of the restaurant to hit up for specific artists. Check out the Jimi Hendrix area, Michael Jackson and Prince area (in the VIP area), and last, but not least, check out the Buffalo area Hall of Fame. Some pretty good artists came out of this area like The Goo Goo Dolls and Brian McKnight. Hit up the store before leaving to grab a magnet and I was back to my hotel for the night.

Yelp
We started with the large pretzel with cheese (it was crispy burned). My wife meal was twisted Mac chicken and cheese. While I went with the New York strip with side salad and veggies. It's our 30 Anniversary meal so they gave my wife an awesome chocolate cake with ice cream. This is a Military friendly location

Yelp
I wanted to give and update. The manager Andrew reached out to us by phone. He apologized for the experience we had and said it was not good night for them. Based upon this level of engagement I am going to swing back by next time in town to glass if we can't give it another chance

Jada R.

Yelp
Food was okay. Service was okay. My drinks were not good. Ambiance was nice. Sad because I usually love Hard Rock.

Yelp
The service was top notch. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The place was packed. The host introduced himself, told us what items were in each room, pointed out the bathrooms, and told us who our server was going to be. The server warned us we were probably ordering too much food given the portions. He was right and saved us money. Food was good and hot. He was attentive. Some nice memorabilia. No complaints

Yelp
I came back to a Hard Rock Cafe on a long weekend after many many years. Contrary to the past, there are vegan and vegetarian friendly options on the menu. They now have a plant based burger! We got an Asian noodle bowl full of vegetables and edamame beans. The sauce was a soy based ginger dressing was to the point. We also got a side of mac n cheese. It was delicious. Since this was a long weekend, it was buzy and our server was handling more tables than she could reasonably handle, yet she did a fair job. The ambiance was on point for what I'd expect. There were music related posters and framed outfits on the wall.

Yelp
My son asks for something on the menu, they tell him they don't have it. He asks the server, well, what don't you have, a certain ingredient, bc I'll still take it if you don't. The waiter comes back and tells him the cooks just said they aren't making it. My son orders something, and tells him he wants to order something else, but needs more time to look, now. The waiter never comes back. We all get served and we finally flag him down to order what he forgot to come back for. My son asked if they had sparkling water and got lied to telling him yea, sparkling soda. I told him it was seltzer, and we all know how these place are with anything out of the bar nozzle. They don't all clean them, and you don't know who does and who doesn't. I ask for two pieces of cheese on each size of my impossible burger and get once slice. My husband spilled his soda, and other waiters cleaned it up. He was never offered or brought another soda. My husband ordered something with no dressing. They gave him dressing. He mentioned it to the waiter and the waiter asked if he wanted him to get him a new dish. My husband told him he would try it, but didn't touch it, bc he walked a mile to the car to get us all bottled water, since they didn't have any sparkling water, and our waiter was nowhere to be found to ask him for the ginger ale he spilled. Some sort of manger came over asking if the salad was okay, and I too her about the dressing. Someone else brought another salad over a half hour later. I also mentioned to the waitress how I ordered 2 slices of cheese and only got one, so I didn't want to be charged for two slices. $2 for an extra slice of cheese. The check comes, and they charged me for the extra slice. I told our waiter, who never once came to see how everything was, and showed him a video of my 1 slice and how I was charged for 2 slices. It was NOT busy. Many empty tables. Enough staff. This is a huge tourist destination. You need to be with it, cooks and servers. By no means are we blaming anyone in specific when two ppl could be the culprits: cook, waiter, but either way, as a team, it's not all put together. I've been to the Hard Rock in CT, NJ, NYC, Vegas, FL, and never experienced anything like this place. Nothing was even comped or maybe a gratis dessert for all the nonsense, screw ups, waiting, etc.

Yelp
Not too crowded when we went. They have memorabilia all over the walls just like other locations. The food was alright. The burger was good, the pickles on it were great. The jumbo pretzel was fine, the cheese sauce with it was eh. The server was very nice. The hostess let us know where the bathroom was right away when she sat us down which was awesome, I wish all hosts did that so we don't have to play "hunt for the bathroom" :)

Yelp
After bringing out of town guest to their first visit to the Falls, it was time for lunch. They saw Hard Rock and decided to check another item off their list of firsts. We were told upon entering that it would be a 30-minute wait for our party of six. Though looking around, we saw plenty of empty tables. Was this due to a staff shortage or a way to get us to the bar? If so, it worked. For those of us that ordered beers, we were served promply. My niece ordered a Bloody Mary & it sat on the other side of the bar for quite a waiting for final garnishes while other customers were served. Once seated, we placed our ordered and waited an acceptable amount of time for our food. Four at the table ordered different types of burgers. All seemed to be satisfied with then but I did hear comments that the fries were 'strange'. With so much conversation, I was unable to hear details. There was also my chicken fajita and a steak fajita served. Both were good. Overall. 'OK' visit. . 2024-60

Yelp
When we walked, there was a big party singing along to whatever the restaurant was playing. We were seated near them, so it was hard to hear my party talk. The place looks nice and there was a little gift shop next to it. The place looked lively with a lot of things from celebrities. For example there was a guitar from Avril Lavigne and it was signed as well. Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad(3/5): The salad was nicely dressed, but the chicken was dry. Service (5/5): Our server was accommodating and very nice. They kept checking up on us which was great! Overall, I don't think I would come again but the service was good at least. Also there was someone painting the walls next to us and I think that's pretty hazardous.

Yelp
Went here to eat with my family. The server was very kind and helpful. She was very accommodating to our requests such as asking for the burger lettuce wrapped and asking for tons of napkins. The fod was quite what you'd expect from an average American burger restaurant. If you're visiting from outside of NY it's a place you should try at least once. The decor is very cool. Lots of musical decorations and references!
google avatar

Maddox G.

Yelp
The baby back ribs were AMAZING, server was super nice, and we were stuffed! The interior was beautiful and they even had a Messi chicken sandwich.
google avatar

Geo M.

Yelp
Horrible service and food. Bartender was also server I understand you can't effectively do both The place was crowded but didn't have enough serving staff. The food was cold and took to long just to order. If you want to have a wonderful time in Niagara Falls NY don't eat at this place

Yelp
Unfortunately this was a somewhat uneven experience for us. We arrived and we were informed that there was going to be a bit of a weight, not at all surprising in the middle of summer of course. When we were seated I was disappointed that the room we were in was not playing the music that we could hear in the main area, and the television was tuned to a continual advertisement for Hard Rock Cafe. Perhaps something funny was going on with the connection? In either case it distracted from the usual ambience. Our server was a sweetheart, and took the time to check on us several times during our meal. Many of the people that work in this area are non-US college students that are visiting on a work visa. Nevertheless I was very pleased with our server and tipped accordingly. The hamburgers were the usual good stuff, but the price is becoming very distracting. It shouldn't be over $20 to have a decent hamburger, but I suppose they can charge what they feel like. My wife's fajitas also didn't arrive to our table until almost 15 minutes after everyone else's food arrived. Perhaps it would've made more sense to time everything to come out at the same time? This is definitely not a Hard Rock that I will return to, but I can confirm if you are a Hard Rock veteran you will find what you're accustomed to here.

Yelp
Amazing service and really cool atmosphere. Ordered Cobb salad with chicken, was very delicious.

Yelp
We came here to visit Niagara Falls and figured why not try the local food, well... let me tell you it was the worst experience I've ever had. Me and my girlfriend ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and the Nachos. When the burger showed up it was the size of a Mc Donald's Cheeseburger and the meat was so thin you could hardly taste it. It seems Hard Rock is down sizing their portions. The nacho's chips were burnt and the topping's did not taste fresh. Very disappointing for a Hard Rock restaurant. It was our first time visiting a Hard Rock and it will be our last for sure. I even complained to the waitress and nothing was done to make it right. All that was said was so sorry about that and walk away. Do yourself a favor and go to a Chilis for a real burger, chips and salsa.

Yelp
An unexpectedly nice dinner near the falls. Keep in mind, if you visit in the off season, which apparently is now, restaurants do not stay open for long hours...enter HRC. We ordered... Oreo chocolate shake Cedar plank salmon with veggies Berry salad Impossible burger with fries All were good but probably the least enjoyed was the salad. Light lettuce just isn't my thing vs darker greens. The kids really loved the rock memorabilia in the space and our server was very nice!
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
The salmon noodle bowl was pretty good. The salmon was cooked decently and the noodles had a nice flavor. The salad portion of the dish was okay, the veggies added a bit of crunch. Overall, it was a decent meal. The portion I received was a lot for me to finish. Service was interesting to say the least. I didn't like how my server threw my straws in front of me and was stand-offish. If it wasn't for the quality of service , I would've rated it 4 stars.
google avatar

Gina G.

Yelp
I haven't been to a Hard Rock Cafe in ages. I have to admit, for being a tourist trap, I didn't have high expectations. But this place did not disappoint. The wait on a Sunday night for a large party was about 30 minutes. Not terrible considering they were doing Drag Queen Bingo. We were all pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Southwest Bowl with Steak, the Surf n Turf burger and fries, Fajitas, a flatbread pizza and chicken fingers and fries for the kids, as well as chicken nachos for an appetizer. Service was excellent. Prices were along the lines of a touristy restaurant.
google avatar

Teresa L.

Yelp
Kat was great! Nakita greeted us and even saved a couple seats at the bar for us...we appreciate you! Great vibes great drinks!

Yelp
My husband's work had an event here. I'll start with the bad. It's downtown Niagara Falls so if you want to be close, you have to pay for parking. On a nicer day, I would have opted for casino parking and walked but otherwise you're looking at $20-30. On the upside, the food was above average and the service is great. I feel like the kitchen was understaffed though because our table wasn't served until some tables were finished eating. My salmon had a surprising kick to it. My husband really liked his burger. The coolest part is the illusionist who had a public show earlier was also booked for our private event. Very small and intimate performance space, and I still don't know how he sawed a woman in half, but of course, that's not part of the typical day to day operations. If I was in the area for more than just dinner and it was a nice enough day for walking, I might come by for another meal. Otherwise the casino has free parking and a variety of good to great restaurants. I'd like to add I include information about things like parking and nearby amenities because that's information that's useful to me when I read reviews to make informed decisions. I like to know what to expect and what preparations I need to make.

Michiko A.

Yelp
I was so surprised how badly customer service was handled by receptionists. When we get inside the restaurant, all receptionists didn't even say hello, ignored us until we said hello to them. There were three receptionists was standing in front of us, none of them try to even greet us. There were not many customers inside, actually so slow. (Of course..now I know why) Those receptionists were chatting whole times without greeting customers. I have never had this badly customer service in my life. Especially in tourist places. Food was ok..don't eat burgers..disgusting. I definitely don't recommend to go this place if you don't want to destroy your wonderful experience in Niagara Falls.
google avatar

Yelp
They do an amazing job organizing private parties and making sure everyone is satisfied with their seats, food and drinks. Always a great time here. They make everyone and everything a VIP Rock Star experience. My daughter has performed here quite a bit. They definitely go out of their way for musical talent to perform on stage.
google avatar

Eli T.

Yelp
I went here for lunch, and the food was great! I got their Messi Chicken Sandwich, and it was good, but big. The service was nice, and if you are bored, they let you explore the place, which has a lot of cool Rock and Roll relics. I waited 10-15 minutes for a table with my family, and it was a nice overall experience!

Yelp
Had lunch at the bar at Hard Rock Cafe, Niagara Falls, NY on this quiet Wednesday in February after spending a little while at the State Park across the street. I had a Surf and Turf Burger and my husband had the Spicy Shrimp appetizer. Both of us enjoyed our food very much. We spent too much money on the Rock Shop! ‍ I have to say, the staff were really awesome. Our bartender was Brad, and he was really cool and efficient. Even the hostess and the Rock Shop ladies were amazing, efficient and friendly. It was really an enjoyable stop. Thank you all!
google avatar

Tamara G.

Yelp
Hard Rock is, well, the Hard Rock. You mainly go to look at rock memorabilia & maybe because like us, it was the closest restaurant we found that was open when we arrived in Niagara Falls. There were tons of tables, but we were told it would be a 5-10 min wait, which we figured out is a ploy to get you to try to browse the shop & spend money on merch. We browsed but did not spend. Our server was nice, a bit tooooo bubbly in fact. We had nachos which we not that hot & just so-so. Big mistake was ordering dirty martinis. They were awful, we couldn't finish them. The burger was decent. But because it's Hard Rock food is overpriced for quality. Anyway, most everyone know this already. It was a B- experience.

George C.

Yelp
"You have a reservation?" No. Wanted us to sit at the bar. No. Talk about overrated under attractive dining spots, Hard Rock Niagara Falls has it locked up. Cacophony of loud music. Clammer of videos all over. Waitress made it clear she wasn't interested in service. Ordered iced tea. After 10 minutes we still didn't have it. When done eating, it took so long to prepare the bill we thought they were chipping stone tablets. At least we finally got a smile from the waitress when she delivered the bill. The food, however, was quite good. Should have ordered it to go...

Harry H.

Yelp
The service was really slow. Food was cold. Ordered a medium well steak but came out rare and bleeding. Do you not recommend. Not to mention the place is majorly overpriced. got refunded for the steak and still ended up paying $80 for four people who got the cheapest things on the menu.
google avatar

Vivian P.

Yelp
Never been to this chain and it was one of the few options in Niagara Falls. Their nachos were a big portion, but the cheese wasn't evenly distributed. The burgers looked nothing like the photo lol. The seasoned fries were probably only seasoned with salt and pepper- nothing special. They have a penny press machine in the front.

Rachel B.

Yelp
Very unfriendly. We were there with a service dog. First words out of her mouth was we're not pet friendly. Food was terrible. My husband got a chicken sandwich and it looked nothing like the picture. Looked like the over heated chicken nuggets from the freezer. It was awful. Then I told them of my food allergies and they brought my food out with corn in it. So my meal had to be cooked again, by that time my husband was done eating.

Courtney F.

Yelp
The food was terrible. I had a chicken salad and there was this mystery liquid in it and the lettuce and avocados were brown. It was gross. The bathrooms were more disgusting than the pu luc bathrooms at the park. The service was good considering how busy they were.
google avatar

Nathan H.

Yelp
We were up in Niagara Falls for my daughter's dance competition and were looking for somewhere to eat. The Falls has really changed for the better. Being 20 minutes away we don't get up as much as we should. Well impressed I was. The Hard Rock is literally a stones throw from the Falls. We were greeted by our host Dunja who was very courteous said table would be 35 minutes and that's exactly how long it was. We were seated by Madison and he was funny giving us a bit of tour of the restaurant. We were seated in the Buffalo musician room. Which was really cool showing off our musical heritage. Our server Michaela took out promptly. The kids ordered either chicken tenders or cheese burgers. The parents had either burgers or flatbreads, I had the pulled pork. All was on point. We were very happy with our meal and our experience. Would recommend this establishment as a local. The GM runs a good crew and restaurant -they should be proud. Will be back next time we are up there.
google avatar

Yelp
Compared to other Hard Rock Cafes I've visited, this one seems by far the most subdued and subtle, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. We came on a weekday in midsummer, so we expected it to be busy, but it didn't feel crowded. The food was actually pretty good (I've had hit or miss at HRCs), and despite the slight busyness, food and drinks arrived fast and hot. Our server Matko was amazing, very friendly and helpful, and super attentitive. Every member of crew that we interacted with was awesome, honestly. They had every incentive to be overwhelmed and stressed on a hot, somewhat busy summer day during what I can only assume is peak season for them, but everyone seemed relaxed and in a good mood (kinda rare these days lol). All in all, if you're looking for a loud, bright, exciting HRC experience, I'd go across the bridge to Canada. But if you're in the mood for HRC with some of the harder edges shaved off a bit, a calmer atmosphere, and a quieter hang, this is the HRC to go with.
google avatar

Cyndi H.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly faces and positivity. There were 3 parties before us and it looked pretty busy but we were all immediately seated. We sat in a separate room which was a little quieter than the main area of the restaurant. My Messi burger was delicious as were the fires which I upgraded to cheese and bacon because HR uses real cheese and real bacon and they are sooo good. The country burger and fries disappeared as well. Our server, Ivo was very good and his attention to detail was 5 star! He told us he was new after our meal which we found very surprising as he is attentive, courteous, helpful, and made sure we knew we could wander and take pictures as we like. We always go to Hard Rock wherever we find them as they are consistent with food. Top notch service here!!! We will return.
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
My two daughters ate lunch here on a Niagara Falls trip. We were promptly seated, and attended to by a server. FYI the alcoholic drinks are VERY expensive. So I opted for a Diet Coke while my daughters had apple juices (first choice was lemonade but the restaurant didn't have it - what restaurant doesn't have lemonade?). My daughter ordered kids meals (pasta and chicken fingers) and I ordered the chicken fajitas. The portions were large, and the food was tasty. We enjoyed checking out that Hard Rock Cafe shop and looking at the decor while we waited for our food. Our server was wonderful. The bill was sixty five dollars for two kids meals, one adult meal, soda, and tip. A bit steep!

Yelp
Very cool interior and design. Fun atmosphere. Smiling staff. Average food, neither great nor bad. The closest place for dinner after an evening walk by the waterfall.
google avatar

Stacy F.

Yelp
A-OK They are a smaller location so it packs up quick and there really isn't room outside to wait around unless the weather is good out. It's on a street corner that does offer a few souvenir shops, but not much else in 'walking' distance unless you have a long wait. The staff is definitely under the pressure of the busy-ness level they have and it's hard to be as attentive as you'd like when it's that way. The food is the same as you'd get at any of this chain. My go to is the Mac and Cheese - it's solid each time. Since it is a bit smaller than it's sister locations that we've been to, it doesn't have the same amount of wall decor and historic things to look at. Overall: B- A-OK for a stop, but it's smaller and less to offer than its sister locations.
google avatar

Serge A.

Yelp
Sadly it's my first time in a Hard Rock Cafe and I liked it! Sure it's a tourist area but the service was good. A little slow to sit because of all the chaos .... But honestly I believe for the winter this area is more than half empty. It's 20 degrees out this February 11, 2023. They had a DJ which somehow got everyone feeling really good with a nice music mix. The food was good. Not to fast or slow but great flavor and hot not stale. All in all I'm happy with the stop here and will try another in another city and see if the service and expectations are similar.
google avatar

Theresa C.

Yelp
I haven't been to a Hard Rock in ages. There wasn't much open in Niagara and our feet were killing us from walking around the falls, so we chose to eat lunch here. I'm glad we did. Our burgers were good and the fries were excellent. The ambience is as I remember it from decades ago...memorabilia on the walls and music videos playing. Our hunger pangs were quelled, we were entertained and our feet got a rest.
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
What can you say about the atmosphere? It's pretty amazing looking around at all the memorabilia on the walls and in the air. The music is blasting so if you're thinking of an intimate conversation over lunch, forget it! Look around! John Lennon's hat and tie, Bob Dylan's guitar, and so much more stuff. If you like Rock, you should check the place out. The food is pretty good too. It's not served as an afterthought. It's actually good food with large portions. We had burgers for lunch and they were large, flavorful, and done the way was asked for them. We needed some extra napkins to wipe up the juice that dripped its way down to my elbows. I actually went to the restroom to wash up. I enjoyed that burger. For the 4 of us, the cost was reasonable, the staff was friendly and our waitress was excellent.

Yelp
Not a good experience. I should have known better. I was seated immediately and my drink and app order placed quickly. Hurricane was good. Ordered the Legendary Nachos. They came out with chips that were way over cooked and the toppings were mostly sour cream and beans. Where's the cheese? And then things went south. Wanted to order a burger, but my waiter never came back. I sat with an empty Hurricane and an empty water glass for nearly 25 minutes while waiting to place my dinner order. Finally I just asked for my check. 15 more minutes later I was finally checked out and I left. Save yourself some hassle, eat from the many delicious food trucks in the area or grab a couple slices from Marcos.

Yelp
HARD ROCK CAFEEEEE!!! Last night, I went in w/ friends & greeter is really totally cool! She was welcoming us like a home. Thats wha it made us feel comfortable knowing that their service will be awesome. Inside of the building is really awesome with full of musicians stuffs on the wall like pictures, drum sets, guitars & more. Amazing. Jimi Henderix! The Beatles! Bob Dylan! Many famous. It was so busy night but our waitress really put her time to check up on us, taking our orders, serving us foods & drinks & still checking up on us to make sure we're all good. Love that how service is doing fabulous! Foods are really good & im very impressive. Theyre pricey but worth it. We tried the dessert- apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream... So goood!!!! Y'all gotta try that dessert. Forgot to add... that place is right next to Niagara Falls- Prospect Falls to be specific. Beautiful. Id recommend you come in between 3-530 is somewhat less crowd... we came in at like 6 & whoa.. crowded. Hope y'all give a shot!

Yelp
Visiting from Texas and popped in for lunch. We were seated immediately and the service was good. Our burger was tasteful (recommended by our waitresses),. We ordered the nachos and I cannot recommend these.

Yelp
Just ate here less than 15 minutes ago. By far the worst restaurant I have been to in a while. The food was horrible and the service was terrible. The lady was nice I suppose but being nice doesn't equal good service. After taking our order we sat for probably 10 minutes before she brought our drinks. Note no alcohol was ordered. When the food came we sat most of our meals without drinks. The waitress checked on our table once the entire time we were eating. I had to tell her we were ready for the check and then had to track her down after about 10 minutes to come get my card so we could pay. There were patrons making out at the bar. My daughter ordered chicken tenders, horrible. I've had better tenders at sonic. Wife had the nachos, they looked like they had been microwaved. I had the apple cobbler for my meal because I wasn't really hungry. Was good at all. Way too much sugar on the top. Went to the bathrooms and both were disgusting, you can usually tell how clean the kitchen will be by how clean the bathrooms are. Absolutely horrible. Service 1 star Cleanliness 1 star Food 2 star Ambiance 2 star Price as expected

Yelp
We came here for dinner and arrived slightly before our reservation. For some reason, they had us wait and we realized they had never actually marked us as present. We waited for another 20 or so minutes while many other parties got seated. When we finally got seated, we ended up right in front of the live music which was extremely loud. We couldn't even have a conversation. I had the impossible burger and was certainly impressed with it, but would honestly find another place to eat.

Yelp
Service was extremely slow and it took a while to get our drinks and food. However, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. It was a typical Hard Rock as far as music and memorabilia go. My husband and I both got the Diablo Burger and fries and wow! The burger was very flavorful and the fries were fresh and crisp. My son got the kids chicken tender with hot buffalo sauce, and fries and he ate it up. My daughter got the buffalo chicken sandwich and said it was surprisingly good. If they were a little faster they would have gotten 5 stars instead of the 4. Though a little pricy, I would still recommend.
