This place is top tier…. The food was so delicious , service and atmosphere was a vibe. The waiter was attentive and friendly. I ordered the 2 appetizers Rockefeller oyster 🦪, shrimp Dijon. I also had the Branzino fish , butter whipped mash potatoes, and asparagus. I give this place a 10/10 . I highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

Walked into this place and immediately felt the rock-and-roll energy. Loud, electric, zero apologies. Hit the blackjack table, caught a hot streak, and walked away a winner — the kind of night that reminds you why casinos should feel dangerous in the best way. Great vibes, fast dealers, and just enough edge to make every hand feel legendary. I’ll be back. ♠️

The smoke was unexpected and unpleasant. We ate at Youyu and it was quite good. Lewis Black was on stage and was the reason we went. I would go back for a performance but not for anything else.

This place was scary. It smells like an ashtray and looks like something out of the Wild West. I could only stay long enough to see the Gary FD paramedic pull up and a security guard rush in. My wife stayed while I waited in my car. I saw a drug deal going down out of the back of the car parked in front of me. I know some people enjoy this sort of thing but it just draws more crime to the area.

The main stumbling block to gambling is stopping when you have a modest profit. Wins DO happen here. Just don't get greedy! You're here to relax and be amused, remember? By the way, that $15,473.23 win in the photo was a happy accident. (sorry about the cut-off Grand prize label above the three illuminated red circles at the top) Know what that win meant? Chinese takeout food from Dragon Bowl (another review of mine) on the way home! Two last things: Firstly, one doesn't go to a casino for overpriced food, even if it's edible. The same thing goes for overpriced merchandise and even entertainment. The high prices are to create the illusion of getting a big comp or discount for gambling there. Even worse, that 'free' visa or gas card for $15 to $50 actually cost you hundreds of dollars in gambling losses! Like the old saying goes, 'Illusion is all'. Personally, I don't eat here unless I get a comp/coupon or substantial player discount. Logo merchandise? No one paid me to be a billboard. Their only business is getting you in the door for gambling, and relocating your cash from your pocket to theirs, remember? Secondly, quit your complaining about not winning here. It says 'CASINO' on the building, not 'FREE MONEY'!! Now go forth, enjoy yourselves, relax, stick to your loss-limit, don't gamble if you can't afford to lose, and BE AMUSED. Good luck!

Great place..its huge! Very pricey at the Cafe and they won't split the bill.. we had several people 4 at a table and we had to have 1 bill ..everyone had to go on 1 bill.. some of us didn't have cash on us. Just credit cards. Didn't gamble much . Was there to see Wynonna Judd live in concert she was Awesome if you never seen her yet! Go see her you won't be disappointed.😀❤️

Stopped off today to check out The Hard Rock Casino. Very nicely decorated and appointed with various guitars, costumes and other memorabilia from the musical world. There is a noodle bar, steak house, a Hard Rock Cafe and another shop for donuts/drinks etc. Plenty of slots from the old to the new and nicely placed table games. You can register for the club card for the casino and if you provide your email or phone # you are awarded casino credit immediately. The amount today was $25 which is pretty generous. The only thing that you need to be aware of is that this particular casino allows for smoking on the casino floor. There is a small section of non-smoking gaming in an area in the back of the casino which is good for those who do not smoke. Thats the only complaint that I have about The Hard Rock Casino- the smoking...and the reason for my score of 4 rather than 5. My lunch at the noodle bar was very tasty and enjoyable. I will return when i am passing through the area coming back from Michigan.

My cousin and I decided to go and do a little gaming. So we hit the hottest place in Northwest Indiana and went to the hard rock casino. We went on a good day because the parking lot was not overflowing, and the feel of the casino was very comfortable. I only wished that the cocktail waitress would come a little frequently to your area because I was very thirsty. Now my game when I'm gaming that I like to play are the slot machines and my favorite slot machine; the Wheel of Fortune . The whole thing about the slot machine ; Wheel of Fortune is that you have to play the maximum amount in order to be able to spend the wheel. Well, yeah, the only wheel of Fortune slot machine that they had was in the high limits room and it was only one and it was $10 a pop with a two dollar maximum. The buffet restaurant inside of the hard rock casino is only on the weekends Thursday through Sunday I believe and on Sunday they do brunch. The Theatre looked very nice on the outside. I really like the way that they have the different outfits of famous celebrities throughout the place. I am not sure that cameras are allowed in the casino, but I was able to snap a couple of shots. Overall experience was good and I give it four stars.

Admittedly, I have never set foot in a Casino prior to going to the Hard Rock Casino in Gary. The only reason I went here was to see Pete Davidson and John Mulaney in the casino's show venue. The show was a phone free event, so I wasn't able to take many photos of the venue. The casino was easy to access and there was a fairly large parking lot. It was a little confusing knowing where to park for the show itself. I wound up parking all the way across from where I needed to be. It wasn't cold out so I didn't mind. Something I forgot is that smoking is allowed in the casino area. Luckily, the venue part is not! I was immediately less than amused having to smell smoke while waiting to enter. There were a variety of food options, but I was a bit shocked by the high prices so I ate beforehand. I wound up having a Blue Moon beer and it was $12. Hard liquor drinks seemed about $15. My friends said their drinks were a normal pour. Friends who did gamble at the tables were shocked that it was a $25 hand. Once they explained the significance, I was shocked by how much that was, too. The show venue is a decent size and was very clean. It was also nice to have bathrooms near the venue itself as opposed to having to leave and re-enter. I was in section 102 and our seats were temporary. The seats weren't too comfortable and small. Inclusivity on size and ability may want to be further considered. So if you go for a pit show, the floor has quite amount of space. The section 200s seem like a great view, too. Obviously I give the show itself a 5/5! Ricky Velez, Pete Davidson, and John Mulaney put on a great show. I likely won't return for gambling, but would definitely return for more shows at their venue.

If you want to see the locals of Gary, IN then this is the place to people watch. Smoking is permitted and totally disgusting as the smell of cigarette smoke wafts through the air. The people who are at the tables don't talk and only gesture. I found this out when I only had $20 and needed $25 to enter a blackjack table. I wouldn't be back. Things could be better. Other than some random music memorabilia it is a forgettable experience.

The Missus and I neither wager nor smoke. And Gary, Indiana ain't exactly on our bucket list. Nevertheless, we had show tickets, so we battled crosstown traffic and road construction. As long as we were making the trek, we figured we would also indulge in their all-you-can-eat buffet. Measured by Las Vegas standards, the casino is small. Self-parking and clean restrooms are plentiful. The personnel we encountered were friendly and helpful. The gaming floor is much more attractive to the eye than the nostril. I can't comment on gaming since I am not a "Wizard of Odds." But the museum-like displays of rock & roll memorabilia throughout the casino are worth braving a spot of sinus discomfort. The buffet restaurant, "Fresh Harvest," currently opens at 4 PM (closed Mon and Tue). A long line had already formed by 3:45 and we didn't actually get seated until 4:20 (they take reservations from 4:30 on; also, the line for Rewards members is much shorter). The quality of the chow ranged from meh (a few of the desserts) to very good (steak, BBQ ribs, salmon, frog legs). If you skip veggies and carbs and stoke up on proteins instead, the $39.95 tariff is not a bad deal. Price includes Coca-Cola products and coffee or tea. Our wonderfully attentive server brought us sharp steak knives. Those who 'eat like a bird' would be better off next door at the mid-priced "Constant Grind" Café. An Asian eatery, a steakhouse (appropriately, its 'high steaks' are next door to the high-stakes room), and of course the Hard Rock Café round out the restaurant options. The show venue, "Hard Rock Live," accommodates up to 2,000 and is well designed for human traffic flow. Security is not unlike TSA screening at airports. The hall itself is plain but the sound system and our seats in the risers - second row center -were superb. The adjacent restrooms are ample to handle intermission crowds. Following the show, we lingered to grab some coffee and hear two live rock bands in the casino. The party vibe was such that total strangers were chatting with one another. Overall, thumbs-up.

I attended a private VIP function at this newish 2 year old Hard Rock Casino with my VIP brother-in-law. Granted it wasn't the typical guest experience, but as it was my one and only experience to date, I've got to go with the way it was, and it was a 5 star outing. The Brews & BBQ VIP event included a massive and tip-top delicious and high quality buffet of BBQ items and sides, unlimited booze from 6:30 - 9pm, and a live John Mellencamp tribute band called Mellencougar. It was held in their cavernous Hard Rock Live main showroom and the 500 guests were seated at 50 tables of 10. It was a totally delightful venue and experience unlike any I've ever had given that there was a live band doing 90 minutes of great music during what otherwise felt like a big wedding banquet. I was very impressed with the high quality of the delicious food spread with my favorites being their brisket and BBQ ribs. The bartenders also made some nice and boozy bourbon and scotch drinks for me too. As far as the rest of the casino, I didn't do any gambling here. Instead before and after the event I happily perused and explored, whereas my BIL did go off gambling. There's a reason he's the VIP and I'm not. This is a Hard Rock and there is a lot of rock n roll memorabilia on display everywhere to enjoy and that was quite a lot of fun. There was also a Council Oak steakhouse and several other eateries in-house (and I'll review the Fresh Harvest buffet and the Youyu Chinese shop separately). There was also a cool and cozy little bar where a live 3 person jazz guitar band was performing basically right behind where the bartender stands. The casino was busy, vibrant, and festive and it was a Saturday night after all. There's smoking allowed, but the ventilation must be very good because I didn't really notice. As far as the character of a casino VIP crowd, I observed that when folks finished their buffet dinner, many started leaving. By the time the band finished their 90 minute set at 8:30pm, about 80% of the VIP crowd was gone and back to gambling, and that was surprising to me with the wonderful concert ongoing. But it was great for the casino. I stayed, and my BIL stayed with me mainly as a courtesy, and we also enjoyed a few Tom Petty hits that the band included in their set. Later, my BIL told me he thought it was also a wonderful evening but it was light on the gambling lol. If it weren't for me, he would surely have been part of the cited 80%. I, on the other hand, thought it was perfectly delightful just the way it was. The End.

I've been several times. The police are definitely out so make sure you are parking in the core spot/lot. Overall the casino definitely draws the crowd In from the city. I would say if you want a little light sun and just want to spend some money you'll definitely do it there. They do allow smoking(cigs) inside. They randomly check ID so just come with it just in case.

I love everything about this location, the restuarant has delicious food, several amount of slot machines and tables to enjoy, the staff is friendly and the live bands are always on point. Come win or loose your coins but enjoy, i'm known for winning.

First visit to newest casino in Indiana. Personnel interacted with were friendly and helpful. Very clean, bright, noisy which is normal for a casino. Lots of places to eat. There two plus hours but saw one cocktail waitress and had to stop her for water (we weren't allowed to bring our water inside). None of us were winners. Slots pretty tight. Two of us warned free play for being first time visitors. They will add hotel in future.

With my experience, they have a 90% lose rate. But I play slots. The entertainment is nice and some of the bartenders are great. Need more electric car chargers

Very large casino with plenty of parking to start off this review. I have been to two Hard Rock Casinos and this one is right on par with the others we have been to. I liked the cleanliness, brightness of the lighting and decor. They have multiple nests of table games, plenty of slot machines everywhere as well as food locations throughout the building. Though I didn't hit one spin on the roulette wheel, I would recommend this as a nice place to stop and do some gambling. Dealer was nice, talkative and made losing less infuriating. I'm competitive.. sue me.

Very nicely themed Casino that is both modern and chic. They have pretty good Asian food service and the slots are kind of loose

We visited the casino to see Little Ed and the Blues Imperials at the Council Oak Bar. The band was fantastic, but the service was ridiculously slow. There were lines at both ends of the bar and people were waiting 20-30 minutes for a drink. I finally went over to another bar and managed to get served in 10 minutes. Three bar tenders and a bar back should be able to handle a heavy crowd.

We went to see a Ron White comedy show last night and these were my thoughts: 1. The show tickets clearly displayed the show time as 7:00 p.m. but the show didn't actually start until 8:00. Never seen that before, ever. Hard Rock Casino is apparently trying to lure you into their casino early because all their shows will advertise a "doors open" time at Ticketmaster, not the start time of the actual show. These tickets were a Christmas gift so we relied on the tickets. 2. When the show ended Hard Rock Casino employees were immediately ordering you to leave your seats before the "crowd" even left the arena. Pretty annoying, especially since my wife depends on supplemental oxygen. Again, Hard Rock Casino is apparently trying to force you back into their casino (to hopefully gamble) as quickly as possible. 3. The 200 section seats seem to be better than the our 100 section seats because the arena is extremely flat and our seats were temporary and small. 4. They allow smoking inside the casino and the plentiful smoke permeates the entire building, even the restaurant and show arena. Not very pleasant for us non-smokers, at least in the my opinion.

Just righting a review because we were on a road trip and saw the Hard Rock Casino sign and my kids were hungry. We stopped and there was signs with food over the entrances but were told there was no way to get to the restaurant without going through the Casino. I've been to other casinos where the restaurants had exterior entrances so kids could go in and/or roped off pathway to cut through the casino to get to the restaurant (Diamond Jo in Dubuque & Suquamish Clearwater Casino). It's disappointing being that the reviews for the restaurants are so positive, I think we would have enjoyed eating here. Just posting so others are informed

Save yourself the headache going to this shit hole it's really not worth it Went to the noodle place and had dinner the pho was nasty the broth was like water had no flavor to it at all seriously and I was on the toilet before I left We went to get players' cards and we were told they had a special if we spent up to $200 and didn't win we would get it back in the form of a check mailed to us we both lost around $100 playing slots now we have to return to get our money back it's coming as play credit $55 this week and $55 before the 21st So as I live in Chicago I'm going to have to spend about $50 in gas to go and get my $55 credit since they lied and are not gonna give us the money back by check or the full amount at once So all in all I got the shits and I got lied to It's not really about the money it's about being lied to I don't like when MoFo's do not tell me the truth I was gonna spend the money win or lose.

Casino packed and do not even get a chance to play. Food and drink costs a fortune. Go to Four Winds instead, at least you get some bang for your buck!

Went for the HardRock Live venue for a concert. The casino is very large with plenty of machines and tables. Its a lively place with lound music playing and a 100 big screen TVs. The casino floor is NOT Smoke Free, you will be smothered in smoke. The Concert room is smoke FREE. The concert room has unobstructed views from every seat, the 200 sections are stadium style. Sound system is great. Good concession area although expensive. Pros: huge free parking lot, right next to highway. Cons: casino is smokey. No separate line for those who checked in early. Would return.

These machines are rigged my Octoberfest machine froze multiple times I played 220 spin with no free spin and every time it looked like I was going to get something it froze . I here right now and I have never went to any casino where you can spin 200 time and get no free spin or anything above 14 cent .I stick to horseshoe at least there machine aren't lock down like area 51

Last night was only the second time that I've been to this Casino.I ate at the buffet and I was pleasantly surprised, not only at the quality of the food but also at the great service by the staff especially Lee. She was very pleasant as she brought out our drinks and of course the much needed steak knife to cut up the fabulous ribeye steaks that are cooked to perfection by Tony. These wonderful people do an excellent job and the food is fantastic. I will be making the trip from Chicago to this casino much more often and I highly recommend that more Chicagoans come here to eat and gamble.

Awesome Food in an exciting atmosphere!!! A must to visit even if you are not into gambling. Entertainment in two areas of casino. The blues bar area is the best for a more intimate setting.

We had a great experience visiting Friday evening. The casino was very easy to get to off 80/94. We had no trouble finding parking. Valet is available for a price. While there was a slight smoke smell it wasn't nearly as bad as other casinos we have been to. My clothes or hair did not smell like smoke after leaving.... I'm not much of a gambler. So I came to wander & people watch. My husband played Roulette & I Luv Suits. The entire staff were all very friendly. I grabbed drinks from the bar... $9 for bourbon & ginger. Bartenders were great. Bathrooms were very clean & smelled nice. EVS was cleaning the mirrors on one of my stops into the bathroom. We would definitely stop by again & recommend to others. Thanks for a fun way to end our Friday evening.

If I could rate a zero I would! I bought tickets for the Michael Jackson tribute concert! We sat down and claimed are seats. After claiming our seats we decided to get a drink at the bar. My wife was denied a drink from the bar because she tripped on her heels. They told my wife to try a different bartender and they sold her a drink. The head of security came and snatched her drink from her hand. They said she was to intoxicated because she tripped on her heels. This is are first visit to this poor establishment. We had just arrived and didn't even spend a dime. The head of security didn't offer a refund or even bother to get her information for a refund. My wife was crying and embarrassed. She didn't even want to see the show anymore. The night was ruined from security assuming the worst. Would I revisit the casino, no sir... The staff were rude, unprofessional, and uneducated. I couldn't stand the fact that they wouldn't serve my wife over tripping in her heels. SHES IN HEELS!! The fact that we just arrived and didn't spend money on anything still blows my mind. Worst first experience of a casino in my life. Please visit the blue chip, horseshoe, and Hollywood casinos before this place. I have nothing good to say about the GARY HARD ROCK CASINO place is garbage people walking out of the bathroom with white donut powder under there nostrils and we can't get served one drink because of assumptions.

Came here to check out Hard Rock Cafe and play a few slots. The food was pretty good, you can check out my review for the cafe on their page if you want more information on that. Masks are no longer required and are officially optional. They do have hand sanitizer stations set up around the casino. The workers were on point, the area was super clean and everything seemed top notch. Smoking and vaping is allowed within the casino but surprisingly we saw nobody doing so and most ash trays were not only empty but actually clean without any ash. I actually had to verify it was allowed before vaping even though I saw the ashtrays because I thought maybe it was something covid related. We didn't spend very much, I gave my hubby $20 and he came back with $50 to split between us. I would definitely say coming out with over double your money is a win. We will probably be back eventually to try some of the other food spots along with gambling a little more. Thanks Hard Rock Casino for a good night.

Would give them zero if I can hard rock casino in Gary Indiana has the most abusive security of any casino in the area I started to bring in an iced tea they grabbed me by the shirt and told me I had to throw my tea away on the way out they did the same thing further one day I started to get into line for a Amazon card and each time I tried to get in to security stood in front of me blocking my entrance this happened 6 times not bothering to tell me that there was a break in the line and it started further away which was unnecessary as someone would tell you that also you will be walking down the isle when the head of security bums into you knocking me down with out a n appollogy some casino Rivers never does any of this this probably why all the black card people from rivers have returned to rivers as they treat you much better stay far away from this hard rock casino in Gary Indiana as you will be miss treated One star which they don't deserve the whole security staff should be fired

Poor customer service. The dealers make lots of mistakes. The casino management need to learn the rules of the games. I have had several mistakes when the dealers miss deal that they didn't pay out even on 3 card poker hand. I also had a 4 of a kind once on poi gow poker with a joker and 2 pit bosses said dont pay it out and two said pay it out. Then they had to make several calls and finally paid. I cant wait for the new Casino in Homewood.

Great location right off of the Expressway. Police and security are on Premise (it's safe). The interior is very nice. The Memorabilia of various musicians are throughout the casino. I am sadden that the machines were so tight. One would think they'd at least allow their customers to win a few dollars to attract us to come back. Very disappointed I didn't even win $10 on a slot machine. On a good note the place is very nice with plenty of restaurant choices. If you don't live in Indiana don't come on a full tank of gas, gas is cheaper and there are two gas stations near the Casino. #Update I went back a week later and the slot machines were looser. I put $40 in the Buffalo machine and won $300. If you don't smoke bring your mask it'll save you from inhaling the smoke of cigarettes.

We always pass Gary on our drives to and from Illinois and we had to stop in and have a little fun! Lots of VLTs, I didn't take pictures inside, I wasn't aware if there were any restrictions so I erred on the side of caution. It is a large place. A high limit room, Hard Rock Shop, Hard Rock Cafe, Hard Rock Live (concerts) and table games. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Many other casinos have a smoking area, here they had a non smoking area. I wasn't the biggest fan of that. Oh well, a definite return one of the next time are around.

Ok. First - it's brand new, so cut them a bit of slack as they work out the kinks ... and we're coming out of a world-wide pandemic and still experiencing delays with staffing and supplies. Second, it's a casino ... people are smoking non-stop next to others on oxygen ... it's funny and sad and true. Third, it's got a homage to The Jackson family that is outstanding! The guitar outside the building (modeled from) the guitar in neon on the ceiling (modeled from) and the actual guitar (enclosed in glass) belonged to Joe Jackson ... the patriarch. The rock shop is small, but adequate for them at this time ... they are not honoring HR points; but, you can call and get them added to your account later. The cafe was out of Nachos ... the one go-to we always eat ... we made do with a BBQ Chicken Flatbread. The windows show you their meat grinders & the slabs of beef are impressive!! The restrooms were clean. Masks were being worn by about 1/2 the patrons ... but, wasn't mandatory from what I could tell. I think it's a beautiful footprint for the area & will bring revenue to IN and IL.

Shout out to this venue. Our first visit & all people we encountered were nice and helpful. Mark, security manager, went out of his way to help us locate a very important lost article. Also, the tall African American gentleman who greeted us at the door when we arrived about 6 pm was awesome. Wasn't sure what to expect but we'll be back.

It's sad how Hard Rock Casino treats their employees, especially at their Gary Indiana location!! They give you 3 uniforms when you first start and over 3 years later, we all are still wearing the same tattered, worn, nasty uniforms! I'm sure the CEO doesn't wear the same 3 suits 5 days a week/52 weeks of the year, for 3 years!! Maybe new uniforms will come when you build the hotel, LOL! You also just screwed over all your long term employees, by changing your terms on shift selections and bumping long term employees to the bottom of seniority list. Maybe that's why you have such a big turn over of employees, because you treat your long term, faithful employees like crap! Also, stop making all your employees work holidays, when it's their day off! If Christmas falls on my day off, why do you feel it necessary to make employees work? Don't you think your employees deserve time (especially their day off) around the holidays to spend with their families? It's really crappy that you don't respect your employees, it shows how you treat them! You're definitely a company Without a Heart! Glad there are new Casinos opening up in the area, it not only give us players option, but your employees too! Just food for thought!

avoid this business if you are a visitor or foreigner. They reject my 2 types of identification at the entrance, and the people who were in charge of access only gave access randomly. I believe that the restrictions by not accepting a Mexican Consular Matricula or a Illinois TDVL license is an insult, especially if I visit your business for consumption purposes. The person in charge called the manager and he continued rejectin the ID's I provided. I suggest you avoid this place with this kind of anti visitor policies.

This place was awesome my wife and I went there on Saturday night to see a cover band name seventh heaven we had a lot of fun drinks we're good and we also eat their. prices were reasonable they seem to have a lot of security overall it was a great experience. We will definitely go back. I get this place 2 thumbs up.

Definitely a slow vibe for a Monday but the machines were paying out, couldnt say much for the craps tables m,but the dealers were friendly and entertaining. This casino has a great layout and a good selection of restaurants. Don't really care for there cafe on the way out on the east end I think they can do better than this maybe even match vegas standards for cafes and amazing coffee and gelato... Overall my go to Casino to enjoy and listen to music is this one ...Cheers good luck ..

A man came in to gamble a while back. Was there for 8 hours. Filmed the ENTIRE time. No one said a word to him. What did he receive for his troubles? $550 in free play. So he went back to gamble more. And again began to film. Was harassed by security, who called the police and kicked him out. Demanded he delete the video, which they have no right to do. All because they didn't want FREE publicity on his popular YouTube channel, SDGuy1234. Well, they are getting free publicity. Probably just not the kind they want. Sad, because I actually live in the Chicago area. Now I know where not to go. Watch the video, make your own decisions.

I am so proud of my city for bringing Hard Rock Casino to Northwest Indiana. I was so impressed bye the casino and it's Style. I was able to see some unique Jackson memorabilia and fashion. However it was also awesome to see Aretha Franklin and other famous artist items in the building. We decided to chill at the Council Oak bar and it had a live DJ. The music was awesome and everybody was having a great time no matter what the age. The drinks were decent and it really felt like I was in Vegas for a slight minute. Despite it being right after the holidays it it was packed and not slow at all. Everybody looks and appeared friendly and personable. I think everyone should give it a try at least once and support our local businesses

This review is for the Hard Rock Casino Buffet, which was absolutely delicious. They even serve frog legs there. I didn't try them, but they are not a common menu option that you will find in buffets. Because it's a casino, the quality of food is very high and fresh. They have a huge foot traffic, that's why the rotation of fresh food is very frequent. The desserts are to die for! There are so many options! You just want to eat everything. These are not your typical American tasteless desserts, but more like European upscale options. The chicken noodle soup was hot, fresh and tasty! Definitely worth $45!

They just served me burned food. I sent it back below I could post pictures. I do not recommend this restaurant.

The main restaurant the Council Oak Steaks and Seafood boast of being top notch. But it was mediocre. I ordered salmon with baked potato and creamed spinach as sides. Bread came as appetizer. Salmon was good but my sides were cold. By the time the sides came back from being reheated they were less than appealing and I had finished my salmon. Everyone was nice and kind. I just expect a little more from higher end restaurants. It was not worth the calories or money unfortunately.

The good and the bad I went there on a Wednesday night most of the times when I go there the food is pretty good but tonight it was not too busy I went there with my brother and he had the rigatoni with beef and pork and if you look at the picture it looks like it's been sitting around for a week he poked at it with a fork a couple times and he says I'm not going to eat that and I think that anybody with the two eyes would not eat it either it looks terrible. I had the catfish nuggets and some of them were okay but if you look at the picture that some of the stuff looks pretty much all dried out and from sitting around for too long It's a buffet all you can eat but you don't stand in line the waitress comes to your table and you order from there and eat as much as you want But I must say when I go there the ribeye steaks that they serve are real good The honey glazed ham is good most of time but you know we're really disappointed tonight because they are serving stuff that should never be served to anybody

The server Fanny at hard rock is the absolute best! Always look forward to seeing her whenever we visit and especially excited when sitting in her section because we know we'll get the best service possible.

The place looked great! Everyone was friendly. The majority of our time was spent in the Rock Shop getting a few collectors pins. It was especially nice to see they have moved into the Dri-Fit Polo arena. Interesting that they branded themselves Hard Rock of Northern Indiana, instead of applying to a specific city like every other Hard Rock I've ever seen. The gaming seemed nice. Table games were available. Although there were ashtrays everywhere, there was no smoke smell, even for an ex-smoker. Lots of slots too, and the usual casino goodies, esp those that go with a Hard Rock. Nice place. Will be back.

That place is terrible!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves. I went on opening night! First, they wouldn't allow people to park, so my husband dropped us off and found street parking. As I walked through the parking lot I saw a crazy amount of parking. Then our experience went down from there.... Traffic was backed up, slot machines wouldn't take the vouchers, computers crashed, took me two hours to get my $15 because the only way you you could get your money was to go to the cashiers (6 cashiers) for hundreds people trying to cash out! I heard so many people say they were never coming back. I agree because there are too many other casinos nearby to go to that have their stuff together! I will never go to any hard rock due to my experience! If it weren't for my family who needed to cash out their money, I would've ripped up that $15 voucher and left way earlier! Definitely the worst casino I've ever been to!

I actually went here on 6/14/2021, forgot to do review. I wanted to stop by here because it's new and I like the Hard Rock brand. It is a great addition to Gary, IN. Nice parking lot, exterior. Upon entering a pleasant, friendly guy greeted me and asked me if I needed any help which I did with dining choice. He helped me decide on the Cafe. It was a tad confusing, 2 lines but those in line were ordering to go. A lady sat me down and I was promptly greeted by server who was nice, friendly. The temperature was quite breezy. I normally don't complain about the coolness but I should have brought a fleece. Food was tasty, nothing spectacular. I tried the chicken fajitas. After eating I went to browse the floor. Took pics of the memorabilia which I loved. Some were too high to see, wish they were more lower. I generally play $.01 slots and noticed that the average one was 75 credits. Make sure u bring extra money. The winnings were tight as other fellow Yelpers described. Though I did win back what I lost, just nothing extra. I did enjoy myself and liked the contemporary, freshness of the casino. I hope they offer some future entertainment like The Horseshoe's Venue does.

Gave myself a budget but it was gone in less than 30 minutes! They have slots and tables. Also few restaurants along with a live entertainment venue. There is a rock shop where we added to our pin collection.
