We had an incredible first experience at Council Oak, thanks to Jess and Adriana! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and taken care of. The service was warm, attentive, and professional—an absolute standout. The food was just as impressive—every bite was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Jess and Adriana truly elevated the evening and made it special. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely Must Visit!! Whether you are a fan of Hard Rock Casinos in general or looking for a Great little place to grab a meal...This is the spot in Rockford to try! The property is very clean. As you enter, you are greeted by employees that welcome you right in...as long as you have that ID that is! Once inside the property, there is anything from your usual slots/table games, a sports book you can relax at...and even a nice, new up and coming poker room that runs cash games and tournaments! If none of that tickles you, There is so much more still... You have anything from the Bar near the sports book, or a handful of restaurants to pick from on property! Or, just walk around and take a look at all the movie memorabilia on the walls and maybe enjoy a cocktail at the bar where they play live music! Amazing Atmosphere!!

Dining at Council Oak inside the Hard Rock Casino was nothing short of phenomenal. From the elegant, warm atmosphere to the perfectly prepared steaks, every detail was top-tier. It’s clear this isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience. What truly elevated our evening was our server, Jess. She was outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Her recommendations were spot-on, especially when it came to wine pairings and steak selections. She made us feel welcome and taken care of from start to finish. The steaks were cooked to perfection, rich in flavor, and beautifully plated. The sides were delicious, and the cocktails were crafted with care. It’s rare to find a place that hits every note, but Council Oak delivers. If you're visiting the Hard Rock Casino, make sure to treat yourself to dinner here—and ask for Jess if you can. She made our night unforgettable.

Very nice facility with a nice variety of several slots and table games. Multiple bars and music spread out makes it very convenient from almost anywhere on the casino floor. Unfortunately, the only downside on my visit was lack of toilet paper in the restroom; however, it was on the weekend, so I understand these things happen. Overall, would definitely come again!

Attended an event catered by the casino. Firstly, the staff was very polite and professional and did an excellent job keeping the event going. Next the food was fantastic, the kitchens outdid themselves and had a creative and tasty spread for our buffet lunch. Everyone talked about how great the carrot cake was, and I really liked the mac'n'cheese. Overall was impressed.

Great place to not only lose money gambling, but see an amazing concert! Tickets are a little pricey but this is a top tier venue. Crystal clear sound, great low end, and the seats are included in general admission. Just seen 311 there and I couldn't have been happier!

My recent visit to Hard Rock Casino in Rockford was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. My party and I waited over an hour just for a burger. Not only did no one ever come to check on us, but we were completely ignored the entire time. We are Black, and we couldn’t help but notice that every white customer around us was seated, served, and eating their food well before us, even though many of them arrived after we did. When we politely asked to speak with a manager, we were told there was no manager available, which only added to the lack of accountability and respect. To make things worse, when the food did finally come out, the ice cream looked like it had been spit in, melted, messy, and completely unpresentable. At that point, we had completely lost our appetite and our patience. This experience felt discriminatory, unprofessional, and totally unacceptable. Hard Rock Casino should be ashamed. We deserve better, and they need to do better.

My sisters and I traveled from Milwaukee to enjoy an evening of dinner and gambling. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet my expectations, especially as it was my first time at the casino. I will admit that the casino itself is very clean and visually appealing. However, I received a FaceTime call and was informed by security that there is a no FaceTime policy. This was a first for me; I have never been told that at a casino, especially when I wasn't gaming at a table or sitting at a machine. After playing, we decided to dine at the restaurant. Both of my sisters had dining comps. When we placed our order, we asked the hostess about the exact amount of the comp so that we could plan our meal accordingly. Cassidy, the hostess, claimed we did not have a comp, but we knew this wasn’t true. Her host had already informed her that a dining comp would be added to her account for the month. My sister then went to the players' club booth to speak with a host. The host reiterated that they were unable to see any comp but didn't seem interested in listening to my sister's explanation. Eventually, my sister asked to speak to a manager, who came out and found the comp immediately. Upon returning to the restaurant, we finally placed our order. I requested a Messi chicken sandwich without cheese, with the sauce on the side, and requested pickles to be added. I also asked if we could have bone-in traditional buffalo wings fried extra crisp as an appetizer. Our waitress, Hannah, said no. Unsure if she was joking, I asked again if they could fry the wings longer, but she repeated that they could not. When we received the wings, they were uncooked. We asked Hannah to send them back, explaining that we like our wings fried extra crispy. At this point, I decided not to have them remake my chicken sandwich because I was already frustrated. The waitress seemed upset when she had to correct the mistakes that were clearly made on her part. The strawberry lemonade was overpriced, containing too much ice and basil, which left me feeling like my drink was gone after just a few sips. For dessert, one of my sisters ordered the caramel apple pie, but it came out without any caramel. We asked Hannah to bring a side of caramel. To top it off, there were no utensils in the to-go bag, leaving us with no way to eat our dessert. Overall, my impression of the casino is that the entire staff could be friendlier. Customer service is not a strong point at the Hard Rock Casino.

Yelp
Can't complain. Felt like I was in Vegas for a brief evening. A wonderful escape from what is... Rockford. Of course, then I walked outside and realized Caesar's was indeed NOT just down a short walk. Oh yeah and the bitter cold hit me, so there's that. They have a coat check. Didn't use it, but I'd consider it in the future. Bathrooms are clean. Venue space was nice. Small. (I do prefer the Coronado over this though if I'm being honest.) I'll be back. Doesn't smell like smoke. It's great!

Yelp
I feel like decor is a little lacking on the floor. One large, brightly lit room. All tables are straight down a long center aisle. Lots of slots. Lots and lots of slots. All decor is Cheap Trick based. Sayings on walls, memorabilia, etc. Visited on a Saturday night about 10:30 PM. Needed some food, so went to the center bar and ordered a Margherita flat bread and wings. Service was fine. Lots of bartenders working, but drinks still came out really slow. The flat bread was surprisingly good. I love crispy, so this was up my alley. The wings were very saucy, but good. There was a band playing. They were very good. If you are not a gambler, it would be a good place to hang out and watch a band. I think serious gamblers may not be impressed by slots and tables, but I am not an expert. For a Saturday night, it was not very crowded.

Yelp
My hubby, mom in law and I went on NYE in the afternoon. We didn't plan to stay so late but we were up and down, down and up. And finally left at even, which is a win to me. The casino was busy because it was NYE. I was surprised at the lack of servers in the casino, especially on NYE. We were never asked if we wanted a drink. I saw a long line at the bar and said forget it. So we didn't have anything to drink, not even water. We didn't eat either, so I can't comment on the food. The casino is nice. And tons of slots. Many new games to me. The $5 valet parking was easy. I like the casino. Good vibes. My mom in law didn't realize she left her wallet there until the next day. Thank gosh someone was kind enough to turn it in. We filled out the online lost form and within 15 minutes someone from the casino called saying they had the wallet. So happy for everyone's honesty!

Yelp
This review is based on attending a concert at the Hard Rock Casino Rockford on October 25, 2024. I was excited to learn one of my all time favorite bands would be one of the first to play in the new Hard Rock Casino Rockford. Another concert venue near (75 miles, 90 minutes) me is a positive. Getting here is easy and as this is right off of the interstate, it is a simple place to find for even those with issues on the "nav" or concern about driving to new places. Plenty of parking, well lit. I just happened to get lucky and chose the exterior lot that was near the concert venue part of the casino. (Southeast for those of you coming here for something soon). I was less than enthused with the aggressiveness of the door guy. I am a petite female by every measure and he was coming off way too strong over I don't even know what. I think it was me asking which direction to the concert hall and he snapped something about it being right there. If aggressiveness occurs again I will seek out on site management for sure. As it was 7:15 and the music was due to start I did not take the time this time. It was NOT welcoming and my friend and I were more than embarrassed to be loudly called out for what should be an easy question to answer and to which staff should respond "have fun" or something polite and professional. His negativity is the deduction of one star. Once through concert venue security, the mural was noticeable. And then I noticed another. And another. I won't go into detail here. I will attach one photo of the few I took. Let's just say the hometown hero is represented. It was AWESOME to get my 8th row seat and notice there is so much leg room between the rows! Like you are not breathing down anyone's back, no one is likely to spill beer on yours, and its so open even down front. The light and sound is top notch, massive, and fully loaded with less than two months in since the doors opened. AND the hometown hero came out to see the same concert on this Friday night, getting some acknowledgement and approval and stunned looks from those of us who noticed! Twice! What a fun surprise. So look out for him! The cool kiddies know when the real rock is in town! I do hope some people come from afar to check this out and it is more than just a Rockford crowd. The main talent of the night did have to encourage crowd participation and for people to "don't look at your phones" when a joke and punchline are being delivered. The band was 12/10 on fire so Rockford and the region bring your A game! Be grateful for what you have here! I intend to return. Casino, mind your front door people because they are likely causing people to turn away and there are ALOT of options both for music and gambling in this region. The competition treats people with respect.

Yelp
Tried the newly opened casino's Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. It was not very busy and we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. Luckily it was more like 15 minutes. Pretty sure the wait was due to short staffing. We ordered Fish and Chips and a Pulled Pork sandwich. Both were good. Our server was pleasant, but too many tables for her to serve.

Yelp
Now, the hard rock has moved into its new building, I thought I'd check it out. More room, more slot play, sports book, poker room, and it's also a concert venue. You can tell it's very well managed and organized. The staff is very helpful and attentive. In case you're hungry, they also have many small eating establishments throughout, showcasing a wide array of ethnic dishes. I especially liked checking out their trademark displays of outfits, and guitars used by many of todays and yesterday's rock legends. Plenty of parking, and plenty of security. Very impressive.

Yelp
We really looked forward to the opening of this casino. It was years in the making, so the anticipation was high. First of all, they did a nice job overall. And being that we came on a Saturday night less than a month after it opened, there were a lot of people here. Positives. They have a lot of games here, especially slots. You'd be hard pressed not to find a slot machine to play if that's your thing. They also have all the major table games, which were very popular. On the outskirts there's a large poker room that didn't have a lot of traffic when we peeked in. As for food, they have 3-4 casual dining spots in the front including pizza, Mexican, Asian and pastries. The main bar is in the middle back side of the casino and in back of that is a sit-down style restaurant. Their menu is mostly Americana. In the far back left corner of the casino is a smaller bar, which sits in front of the concert venue and ticket office. They also have a steakhouse, gift shop, and a couple of high stakes rooms. Negatives. Drinks are very hard to get here. They do have waitresses walking around offering and they do their best. But the main bar is where 99% go to get a drink if they aren't in a restaurant, including the wait staff, and the bar was only manned by four people on a busy Saturday night. It took about 20 minutes to get a drink just waiting in line, and those come in a half-seize plastic solo cup filled with ice. Terrible. On the left side of the casino they have a ton of table games that were all closed. Pretty sure they won't get busier than we what we experienced on a Saturday night, why not open them? You needed a crowbar to get into any table on the right side, and several games had folks standing in back of playing patrons just waiting to get in. Two of the three table game areas were completely closed. They have automated roulette and blackjack, but not craps. Definitely a mistake. We've been to other casinos that offer craps and they're wildly popular. Another problem with the automated roulette and blackjack games were that each had a minimum bet of $5. Every other casino we've been to that has these machines offers minimum bets of $2, with some as low as 50 cents. This casino is aesthetically pleasing to look at, but it has a lot of flaws. When two thirds of your table games are closed on a packed Saturday night, you're totally mismanaged. They need to add another bar for patrons and we were surprised they didn't have soft drink stations like most other casino's. If you're looking to play a table game you better have a ton of patience and enjoy watching others play for hours on end before you might get your turn. And do 99% of us a favor and get rid of your two high stakes rooms. A total waste. Both were empty, yet fully staffed. If those folks come out and staff the normal gaming tables, I guarantee each table will be filled in seconds. All in all, I don't see a reason to come back. Go up to Potawatami in Milwaukee and see how a casino is done right. And by the way, my review comes after I won money. A lot of change to be done here. Cheers.

Yelp
Ok casino, but there are better ones within an hour's drive. The environment in the casino is a little boring (no ceiling fixtures, just one big room). Their selection of slots isn't the best (how many Buffalo slots do they really need?). No buffet. In the positive side, lots of parking and a good restaurant.

Yelp
Thursday night between 8:pm and 10:pm. Well the restaurant Street tacos , taco's were terrible. So bad I couldn't eat them . Avoid the whole experience from the ordering, only card payment and the salt lik tacos. I ordered steak they only had enough meat for one taco. So they give me Two chicken plus the one steak. Shit tacos are shit tacos. Something was very wrong with the tacos they served me. ( so pissed off) They sell Mexican coke American Coke a cola is my preference. Your a casino ! Think ya can afford the real American Coke. The casino In my opinion opinion what I saw from afar Is casino Lower limits blackjack tables full . Asian speaking No elbow room. Four $25 tables Blackjack with maybe one or two players. Casino seat fillers agents(maybe) . I didn't see a open craps table or hear dice calls. Some carnival card games. Only one pit was open . Sorry to say the players rights in Illinois. Have been bent over and told to grab their ankles. What ever happened to the $5 table you greedy bastard o. House only needs a fear advantage . You determine the odds and rules. Manipulating the seating is only manipulating the house out of players. Respect your players or you won't have any. Nothing was inviting . The restaurant Street Taco's should not be allowed to serve humans. The players looked as hungry and ganged up as the employees. Didn't even get a smile from the cocktail server. The most depressing new casino ever. Unfortunately, I have seen worse.

Mandie W.

Yelp
I would give service a 5 if it won't for the people who represent customer service. The people in charge at the Player's Club are a joke. Also, the advertisements are a joke. Don't advertise if you're not going to follow through. The bathroom cleaning crew have better soft skills than the Players Club employees do, Who deal with customers. Also security needs to work on their soft skills not everyone is a threat

Yelp
This is definitely one of the nicest casinos in Illinois. The high limit room is a really nice size and the casino is really nicely done. The restaurant ms are all pretty good too. I recommend this place over rivers.

Yelp
Nice entertainment spot. Good food & drinks. Free admission!!! Live music options on the weekend are nice!

Ana A.

Yelp
It didn't meet my expectation of what a hard rock should be. Lots of slots, nice clean but I'm not sure they're done yet. No shops(1) 4 restaurants no hotel attached. Beautiful place but coming from the city (Chicago) to check it out I think I'm one and done until they add more to it.

Barbara L.

Yelp
Giving it a 4 stars until I win some $ and then I may come back and make it a 5 stars review Atmosphere is bright for a casino and very clean

James J.

Yelp
This may have been theee worst casino I have ever gone into. I understand it is new and black Jack is a first for the dealers. I was appalled because of the 5 dealers I was dealt by, none of them could add the cards. If the dealer had a 9 and 5, you would hear them out loud say 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14....as if counting the spots on the second card. Every hand played was met with the same issue. Consistency is not here either. All black jack tables are 6/5 black jack with automatic shufflers. Something you just have to deal with. Supposedly there's 3/2 blackjack but those tables are never open. Adding to the problem, the dealers taking the cards back into the shuffler. Some go one hand, some three hands, some a deck, some a deck and a half. I'm sure there has to be some protocol as this variance is too great. The talent of player is horrific at this casino. I know it's not the casinos fault but the pit bosses and dealers could speed the game up by not allowing the players to keep trying to slow the game down. I met one pit boss who was attentive to this dragging down of play and tried to speed it up but others said it is what it is. Playing one hand every 3-5 minutes does not make for a fun game. Overall someone in management needs to come down from their ivory tower and START MANAGING! You have scared me away and others who I know. Numerous people have had the same issues. I cannot wait until the WI casino is open and at least I'll have a second option on my way to my weekend home. Until then I'll continue to play at home casinos and not even look right on 90. Not a good thing for a casino built off the highway. I'm sure soon enough more will catch on with all the travel FIBS do going to WI. LOST REVENUE! Good luck!

Wendy B.

Yelp
Clean and new but bartenders are awful They stand around while you sit there and wait One of them passed us at least 7 times and did not even acknowledge that we were there and he would be right back Need to teach the bartenders some customer service

Kathie R.

Yelp
You pay for up front seats at Live and they let the people from the back stand in front!!!!! BS!!!!

Carol C.

Yelp
I went on a wait list for the cafe. (50 MINUTES). There are at least 5 waitresses. Tables are empty. Maybe they need more chefs I ordered the steak salad the steak was supposed to be cooked medium rare and came back well done. The waitress said they would redo the steak but I refused because the salad itself had brown lettuce and a rubbery hard boiled egg. It was not fresh. Also, the Italian restaurant has pizza and a salad the restaurant in Florida has a great variety of pastas etc. The Mexican restaurant had tacos I would be better off eating a sandwich in the car.

Yelp
Jessica W was one of the best servers I've had anywhere or any other restaurant in the area. Very friendly, knowledgeable and just a great person. Our food was great and just added to an overall great experience! Also went to do some gaming after our meal and had one of the best game worker that I've ever had at any area casino. Chris kept the game moving at a good pace, didn't feel rush and answered and questions and made sure I understood- playing craps- Overall it was one of the best nights I've had at any casino. Thank you

Hayden P.

Yelp
comical experience. im 24 years old and tbey claimed my 3 forms of identification was fake (CC,Foid,DL). the enterence clerk was professional but the manager is mediocre, lost an extremely valuable customer 01/12/25

Yelp
Very clean however it was opening weekend. They were giving away T-shirts if you signed up for unity club ... go to back of casino for additional table and a short line however attendants were not on their game as they made me add a pin but husband wasn't instructed to do so ... it is needed.

Carl B.

Yelp
I really like playing there. It's very nice. I would rather have the kiosks removed and replaced with waiters. I do not like that concept. Seniors are not happy with that idea. Seniors are a large portion of your patrons. I really like playing SUPER HOT ROLL POKER you only have 4 machines and always busy. Any chance to have more in future? Carl Bufalo Rockford

Yelp
Just went to the new casino on the day after the grand opening. This place was amazing. Parking is easy. It's all one level so it's easy to walk around. The had great video and slot machines. The sports book was simple, but just right. They had a lot of out of town staff that were really friendly if you had a question. Next is the food... They have like a small food court which has different spots where you can have tacos or Italian Food (pizza and sandwiches.) If you eat there, you have to to order on the touch screens (credit / debit card only) and you pick it up at the counter after they send you a text message when it's ready. Next to that, there's a small Chinese restaurant where you have a server. Then, there's the Hard Rock Cafe. The bar was very spacious and you can sit downstairs in front of the stage or where the DJ is. The food was amazing. You can buy t-shirts at the souvenir shop. Overall, this place is really impressive atmosphere with ambiance (portraits of singers, memorabilia , etc.), Definitely recommend visiting Hard Rock in Rockford.

Charles H.

Yelp
Clean, staff is nice and we have won 3-4 times. Enjoy Texas Holdem cash game. Wish they did tournaments.

george s.

Yelp
They're still working through many re-opening issues. (If only there had been previous Hard Rock Casinos they could learn from.) Late openings, slow service, and lots of confusion by staff. An hour and a half wait for a table in the cafe turns into a two hour wait plus another hour to get food. The 8pm drawing leaves a hundred seniors standing for an hour while they figure out how to lower the loud music and work the microphone... rather than just reading the winner's names out loud and letting us get back to our meals and gaming. (Winners have 2 minutes to claim their prize!!!) The casino is big and bright and loaded with games (like advertised penny slots that require a minimum $1.25 bet and tables with a minimum a $100 buy-in.) It has several restaurants ranging from steak to taco, depending on your budget, but no Vegas style buffets or really cheap meals... not even free drinks on the floor. (A mostly ice cola costs $3.) Though players can get a 50% discount in the cafe on Wednesdays. The casino was packed on the Wednesday night i was there. Most the table games were full, though there were table rooms not open, and still plenty of open slots. Tons of memorabilia on the walls. I'm hopeful one day i can afford to see a stage show there.

Yelp
My mom went and had an amazing time with her friends and the food was good. And they were laughing all night and it is big

Bob ..

Yelp
There is nothing on the website that says kids are allowed at the Hard Rock Cafe. We drove nearly 50 miles just to find out our 14 year old granddaughter couldn't even walk through the door! It doesn't make sense that they don't have a separate entrance to the Cafe.

Yelp
We were in town for a couple days and decided to go to the casino. While it was new and still nice inside, but it was a tight casino. The slots were ridiculously tight. Neither of us saw any decent payouts even though the place was pretty full. They had just opened a blackjack table and all the seats were taken. $15 minimum and 6 to 5 on blackjacks. No way we'd play 6 to 5. We did Happy Hour at Midway. Nice bartender and good pizza but the windows were open on a 85° day so it was warm at the bar.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Nice and new. Great staff. Very welcoming. STEPH, CASSIE AND BETH at the bar are so inviting and genuine. Love the atmosphere. I wish for a baccarat table and another 3 card. As a sportsbook bettor I find the sportsbook underwhelming. I understand growing pains but it's small and lines form on Saturday and Sunday. 12 noon on week days? I hate to go to Victoria in Elgin on weekends but where I live it's a toss up. Rather go to Hard Rock. Want try the steak house. The food at the bar was good. Pricey. Beers $8 . Tab adds quickly. Otherwise work out kinks. Great addition to Rockford

Yelp
I have frequented this place multiple times since it's opening ..... Dropped hundreds every visit, and never won a damn thing. If you want to have real odds and play at a real casino, do t bother here or anywhere else in Illinois. There's bad luck....and there's rigged games. These sure play like they're rigged to me. There's virtually zero play back, bonus games dont pay, overall a terrible unexciting experience every time you will visit.

Chitiwn S.

Yelp
Very nice casino. After dropping $500 I was kicked out of the parking lot with my RV after spending 3 hours there. Told me I couldn't park there it wouldn't have to park at the truck stop across the street. I will never go back. Kicked a bunch of other people out too that we're an RVs these are half million dollar RVs people will never go back. Very rude. They don't care and there's very stupid.

Paul G.

Yelp
The casino has all the lights and glitter a casino should have but the slots are really really tight. I came with 5 other people, all were broke within less than an hour. I walked around for another 30 minutes just watching people play slots and no one was winning. Casino is way too greedy. Players shouldn't expect to win in a casino but they should expect to play for more than an hour. Will not go there again.

Michelle S.

Yelp
Shannon in the cage was one of the nicest most professional people i have came across in the casino! She makes my experience such a pleasure and she's very good at her job. Such a blessing to have people like this in our world still! Thanks Shannon!

Wendy G.

Yelp
Their beverage prices. Price gouging. $13.00 for a glass of Pinot. Plus, no wins. Spent 1000.00. Won't go back.

Charlie

Yelp
Why is this casino so different than other casinos I have played at in Vegas, Colorado, and Scottsdale? I can't believe you have to pay for drinks. I have never been to a casino that did not give you free drinks. Also, the payouts on video poker are a joke! They are about 75% less than other casinos when you hit a high hand, such as four aces with a 2,3, or 4 kicker.
google avatar

Myrah B.

Yelp
The Ribeye and lobster tails is amazing!! And Cesar our waiter was very attentive and helpful. I can't wait to come back for steak and potatoes.

Kris K.

Yelp
Good payouts and nice selection of slot machines. We signed up for player's club and got free t-shirts.

Yelp
Melissa was awesome and helpful! She directed me to get a player's card, which I did. And suggested the Prime rib.

Yelp
It's Christmas and thought we would give the new place a try. Let me start by saying we are not big gamblers. So we are sitting at a slot machine and tried a few times. I did not understand how it worked as far as what it takes to win. So I pressed the service button to ask for some help. The lady comes over and ask how she can help. I explain to her we are new at this can you explain how it works. Like where are the lines are for where you want it to line up. She said i have no idea how it works other then put the money in here and push this button. The machine does the rest. Well that was the start. Then we go over to the cafe and told 45 min to 1 hour wait. There is a lot of empty tables so figured it was there way to get you to play more. Me and my wife sat at a slot machine for over an hour and no one even asked if we wanted a drink. So wanting something to drink we went into the shop and paid $8 for a coke and a water. Well a few min. later we are called that our table is ready. We sit down and order a coke and a dr. Pepper. The coke is so bad I asked if she could replace it from another area. She tells me it probably needs to be replaced with new syrup not sure she can get it done. About 5 min go by and she comes back with my coke. It is so flat that i ask for lemon aid. Taste like water with a lemon slice. My wife said the Dr.Pepper taste lile Rootbeer but was good. The waitress ask my wife if she would like a refill. She said yes thank you. A few min later she said they where out of Dr.Pepper. now we order our meal. I looked at the menu and they had a real nice burger and fries. So I order that. Was asked if I wanted an egg added I said no thank you. My wife asked for pulled pork on a Gluten Free bun with mash potato. The fries are seasoned so she can not have it. I get my burger that looked like it was thrown on the plate and nothing like the picture with an egg. Fries that were so soggy they taste like grease. The egg that was not ordered was way over cooked. Wife got fries and a bun that looked way to good to be gluten free. I told the waitress and she took it back. Looked like they dumped the fries and put on mashed potatoes. When she dropped it off i asked again is this a gluten free bun. She said yes. I asked how do you know because my wife gets real sick if she has wheat. She said the chef knows it needs to be gluten free so it is. Well my wife got super sick in less then a half hour after eating. Was it the bun or from the fries touching the sandwich don't know. But there is no quality control and the foid was awful will not be back for sure.

Yelp
Had dinner at Rock River Bar and Grill. Our server Jess D was the best. She was totally on top of it and made our experience the best I highly recommend her.

Yelp
My favorite place to have lunch and play some slots! Midway Bar has a relaxed atmosphere and good food! And of course full bar! The servers are always friendly. And when the weather is nice they open the wall of windows behind the bar stools! That's the best! There are several tables and high tops if you don't like sitting at the bar.

Yelp
I was one of the first 30 through the door on the Grand Opening day. I consider the long wait worthwhile. Beyond the scheduled opening time at 3 PM, casino girls circulated through the crowd and offered up bottles of cold water. Once inside, I was impressed with everything: associates, machine visuals and accessibility, Hard Rock Cafe entertainment, and an excellent and tasty meal at the Asian restaurant, which provided enough for a takeout container. Won a small amount. Going back.

Yelp
The casino was very clean. The dealers were friendly and approachable. If I am losing my money I at least I enjoy chatting with the dealers, that is one of the basic things I look for. That's it for now!

Yelp
Finally happy that Rockford has a casino! My fiancée and I spent the weekend at the Red Roof Inn and decided to walk over there one night. The machines were ehh... of course we didn't win anything, however they did give us tshirts for the "grand opening" months after they legit opened. We went to the bar to grab a beer, where we both were instantly swarmed and hit on by a collection of dudes. (We're both female...). Not one guy, but probably 4 guys at the bar all offered to buy us drinks. Kind of appalled, however we kept to ourselves. The food was okay. We went to Midway Bar and ordered a pizza. It was okay, I would recommend Jerry's Pizza on the other side of Red Roof Inn. Atleast you're not gonna get booty called and hit on by nasty older men there. I would go again, as long as there isn't another shooting in the parking lot.

Yelp
I love this place! It's an exciting atmosphere with wonderful dining. The bars are well-stocked with beverage concoctions. The live music is always a treat. It's a fun place to meet friends, play, relax, and enjoy the festivities! The giveaways nights are so energetic. I also adore the staff and management team. They support local charities with donations and employees who volunteer on their own time at community events. Welcome to Rockford! Hard Rock is not only boosting our employment rates but they brought new tourism in our economy from outside this community. Just one more exciting thing to make our great town have a place on the Illinois map!
