Hardeeville chicken lickn

We were on a road trip, and had to stop somewhere to get gas. When we looked, this place was right next to the gas station. We wanted to give it a try and see how the food was. We were NOT disappointed! Their food was delicious, and their BBQ sauce was one of the best sauces I’ve ever had. They were very kind and explained every that was on the menu, and it was all very delicious. It’s in a very convenient location since a lot of people traveling can stop to both get gas and something to eat. Very good!

Five stars to the food! We loved every protein we had. The sides we are also good (portioned in the smaller side), specially the beak beans! So good! Mashed potatoes were a little dry. The place: you can only eat outside, very hot. But in a way, it’s part of the experience. Prices are reasonable and there’s plenty of parking around. The wait time: yeah, long. But worth it

We found this gem on our way home from vacation. I got the oxtail meal with collard greens, yams and baked mac n cheese. I also got a slice of pound cake (delicious!) and banana pudding (I didn't care for it). My meal was amazing!!! 😋

I'm visiting and happened upon Chicken Lickin and it was the bomb. Seating is outside and it was full when I got there. The chicken was hot and tasty and the fries were seasoned right. Don't make my mistake and forget to get a slice of pound cake. Lol

We stopped here on a whim after leaving the gas station next door. I love a good non pretentious meal. I first had to see who was in the kitchen and when I saw it was my play aunty I knew we were eating there. Ordered the family combo meal with fried chicken, smoked chicken quarter, mac n cheese, and collards with a piece of pound cake. Ms.Patricia (maybe the owner?) was so pleasant and seemed like she knew her way around the kitchen ! The food was fresh and delicious. We did not have to wait as it wasn’t a busy time. There’s no indoor seating but some tables outside. I don’t like smoked chicken typically and I don’t prefer thighs, YALL!!!!!!! I added some of that delicious BBQ sauce and was in hog heaven! You know someone who been making the greens and mac n cheese over 20 years. Really phenomenal spot. Don’t think twice!

We're on our way to FL and stopped in. Food was really good. I recommend it. Brisket was especially good, nice thick smoke ring and plastic fork tender.

Amazing place right off the highway - some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had!!! Takeout only with picnic tables, expect to wait about 15 minutes for your cooked to order meal. Well worth the stop and time.

We come here every year on our way to Florida because the food is so good! We ordered fried chicken and I was moist and crispy and seasoned so well! Their Mac n cheese was perfect! Fried okra, YEP!! And you have to get the hush puppies!!! Sooooo good! We’ll def be back!!
