Dude! I didn't know this place existed! Seriously amazing burgers here. Not sure how they make their fries but they come out a woman wet mess and the ate absolutely delicious! The hamburger 🍔 bun is a bit weak but no big deal. The service here is super friendly. They serve Boylston soft drinks that are made with real sugar and they are delicious! Way too much sugar and fat here but the perfect place for a treat when you need good fast food!

Unsure of what happened, but our food was delivered burned, cold, and salty. It was inedible after a few bites and we just had to stop eating it. Soon after, our stomachs started hurting. I’m really disappointed and sad that we spent over $50 on just two meals. 😳 The owner needs to be aware of what is being delivered to customers. Please fix this.

This place used to be great but the quality of the food has gone downhill. My burger was dry, bland, and I ordered red onion topping that was cut so thick it was inedible. I was pleasantly surprised that for once I got enough truffle mayo with the fries, the little cup was actually full this time, but the truffle mayo was bland and flavorless. Much less flavor than before- it tasted like straight mayo. Also the fries are too thin which results in fries that are always much too greasy and either underdone or overdone. For the price I expect better quality food and more care with the preparation.

The company burger and chili cheese & jalapeño fries were great. The ricotta zeppoli was not what i expected, I wanted something nice and sweet and that was not it. Ill order a shake next time though.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much when I went here but I must say the wings and the Burger were pretty good. I wish they had actual buffalo wings but their chicken wings were on point and they give you a hot sauce on the side. Not bad at all

This spot all you need when you craving a classic burger. Cool folks, who’ll let you eat and kick it there for as long as you chill. Would go back for sure when I get the burger itch. Only wish is that they’d asked if I wanted it well done or medium, otherwise, no complaints!

The burger was delicious. The fries however was unrecognizable. The fries were packed in a dozen little small bit’s and pieces, some burnt and some not. The cheese was a big block of fuddy-duddy cheese. Not happy with the side orders.

We ducked in for a quick bite. Harlem Burger has a limited menu with options for vegetarians. The beef is humanely sourced without hormones. I got the company burger with everything, which was super tasty. We also shared fries, which was enough for two. Sodas come with free refills, but there is no bathroom so think before you drink... The food was great, the counter service was fine, and food was well-priced for the quality ingredients. I will definitely be coming back.

Burgers are sooooooo good, fries are always amazing and that SAUCE... yall. I could eat it with everything. Cons are that the ambiance is atrocious, the inside feels like it's been thrown together oh and it WILL take them like 30 minutes to make a burger and fries but it WILLLLLL be worth it lol. I'm just there for the food so ‍ Lastly you can't order over the phone for pick up which doesn't make much sense! Still.. I would die for this place

The customer service was sooo bad. It was like she was angry with us for being customers. They were out of white sauce and no soda with the combo for $23. At no point did she state this just angrily mumbled and glared at us. Shout out to the chef for cooking and having a sense of customer service since the woman at the front clearly hates her life. If she is family and you have to deal with her, please don't force her on an innocent public. This place used to be good and inviting but its looking rundown.

The burgers here are solid but they don't come with fries and the meal is very expensive. The prices definitely need to be checked.

After getting our dog groomed by paws country club, my son and I stopped at Harlem Burger for some grub. Burgers were okay and fries were on the burnt side if you know what I mean. The service was and wait time was good not bad

EVERYTHING! This is a MUST GO! The owner/chef greeted us so warmly. He even helped us decide on some great options. Even the customers said hi! I already love Harlem and this is definitely my top 5 places to come while in NYC. Do I have to say the food was seasoned to perfection? Do yourself a favor and check this spot out, you won't be disappointed.

They never answer and online ordering is always closed. Not sure how this place is still in business. It's a shame it used to be really good.

I will not order from Harlem Burger again. The other night. I order a cheeseburger and waited for my order. I walked up to the person who took my order and he rudely told me "your order is not ready!" He was so nasty . His demeanor was disgusting! I wanted to tell him to go to hell! Never again you rude nasty idiot! You will never get an order from me again.

I recently visited Harlem Burger and it was truly not what I expected. The location was not well maintained, and the presence of homeless people coming in and out of the place was unsettling. Unfortunately, my experience was not a pleasant one. We waited about 20-25 minutes the beef sliders were done mediocre and the fries where burned and oily. I would not attempt a second chance.

My family and I have bypassed this joint for years because we are snobs lol. Have to admit that the 3 star rating on here gave us pause. But when we took the time to read the reviews we realised most of the criticism is for the slow service, but all we were really interested in at this particular time were the burgers themselves. We were just really craving a good Burger on this day and didn't want to spend a lot of $. So we gave it a try. The burgers exceeded our expectations. One bite and I was sold. The patty was solid and was cooked just right... I like mine medium. It was charred on the outside and pink on the inside. It was juicy and seasoned very well, which I very infrequently find when dining out. I got mine with bacon, which was a high-quality cut and cooked to a perfect balance of supple and crisp. It was loaded with pickles and fresh, crisp lettuce and tomatoes. Maybe a thicker slice of cheese would have made it even better, but I hardly noticed because it was so good. We shared an order of fries, which was plenty. We even had left overs. They are shoestring fries but cooked on a high heat setting like steak fries, so they are brown and crisp on the outside but creamy on the inside. The truffle mayo is a bonus. As far as service goes, we had no problems. We ordered online, and while the ETA they gave us was longer than we would have preferred, the food was ready sooner than they said. It was packaged neatly and still hot when we picked it up and took it home. Glad to have a reliable and convenient option for a delicious Burger at a decent price.

Really good meal. Long wait though, like 25 minutes. Fresh burger and egg. The wasabi aioli was delectable. Had those with my fries too. Tons of sauce. Really good burger. Messy good time. Nice staff. Only complaint was the wait time.

Shocked by the low reviews! Had a late lunch here this past weekend without looking at any reviews ahead of time and I would have assumed that this spot would have had high praise. The burgers are delicious, the fries are fresh and hot, the space is central to Harlem and there are options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. We ate in the outdoor space, so we didn't mind waiting 5 -10 minutes for our food, and when we ate our meals they were hot and flavorful. I would recommend trying these burgers and fries, and I wish I'd tried a shake, too!

I do not understand the low ratings for this place? I was starving and really craving a burger so decided to come in despite the low stars, however I was so so pleasantly surprised. They fried were delicious and came with a really good aioli and the burger was so fresh and flavorful. I really enjoyed everything and I thought the service + time to make the food was great! I've been craving it since last coming and will definitely be stopping by again!

Ordered two burgers with fries, drink and a vanilla shake. Got no fries and a strawberry shake. They don't care.

Went to this burger joint randomly during my community nutrition rotation and I wish I knew about this cute little spot earlier! It was clean, airy, bright, and inviting inside. Staff was super friendly too. I already had lunch, but was craving fries so I tagged along. I was on the line and couldn't resist ordering a slider too. I mean I was already there right? Well, I'm glad I went with my gut instinct because the slider was delicious (I wish I didn't eat lunch earlier)! Their fries were a bit too salty, but tasty. I got a cup to get soda from the fountain and there were so many specialty sodas to choose from. Cups are refillable too! If I am ever in the area again, I'd definitely stop by for a regular sized burger this time.

I'm very impressed with their delivery time, and I received my food within 15 minutes from a very friendly delivery person. I ordered the company burger ( lettuce, tomato & co. Sauce) with an extra patty of $4 and hand-cut fries. The burger was delicious, with charred on the edges of the patty full of flavor. The only downside is the juices seeping into the bottom bun; luckily, they delivered fast enough, so it's not entirely soaked. Maybe I'm too picky? Hand-cut fries were fresh comes with a side of truffle mayo, just a bit too thin for my taste. If you are a burger lover, it's worth giving it a try.

Last night we decided to stop by Harlem Burger co for dinner after having passed it a million times before. They have a little bit of covered out door seating and two individual igloos as well. Ordering was easy and straightforward. We both got the company burger, I swapped the beef for Turkey. Loved the company sauce , truffle Mayo and fries. I'm a very picky fry eater and theirs are crunchy and hold up well. The burgers were amazing. They both were so well seasoned and juicy, which is often not the case with a Turkey burger. Will definitely be back in the future! Highly recommended if you are looking for a good, quality burger at a great price point.

burger was horrible over cooked bacon was black over easy egg was fully cooked had a piece of sauce on one side of a corner of a bun big old leaf of lettuce no Swiss cheese which was requested as per the burger and my fries were marinated in salt before they gave it to me. i called the store and they offered a refund so that was cool but im not walking back in the rain to get it. i used to come here prior to the new staff and they cooked everything perfectly. everybody shouldnt cook. everything isn't for everybody. still looks the same so not much has changed aesthetically.

I'm going to give this place five stars simply because the young lady let us in at close! She was cleaning her grill and decided to fire it up real quick for our orders.The B Lo hot chicken sandwich was good. The Harlem fresh chicken sandwich was great also. I will be back to try more of the menu. Make sure to tip your cook!

Amazing place , I am very glad they have available green houses. The burger tasted so good and the cheese fries. This place is good for an after work day middle of the week or even weekends. I will like to come back try other burgers and more beers. Great costumer service and amazing staff.

Turkey burger was so good and the option to add a fried egg is what sold me. I feel bad for the employees bc they seem to always be swamped but I'm so glad they still manage to pull through with amazing food. Craving: Satisfied

I usually come here sometimes and it's typically good, But I just spent 26$ for French fries basically.. cause how the fuck are these turkey burgers!!! So fucking pissed off

A neighborhood gem. Passed by frequently, but finally gave it a try and happy I did. This place has great food and friendly staff but it's the little details that really make it special. The experience was the fast casual burger equivalent of when you eat at a Danny Meyer restaurant and you don't know how the server anticipated your needs before you even knew yourself. First, I ordered a shake, but then had a fleeting thought "oh wait, this is going to melt into soup while my order is cooking and I don't really want to drink it all now." No worries, they anticipated this. The cashier mixed it up and put it directly in the freezer while my food cooked. Also, I didn't even think, "oh shoot, this is going to get all over this handsome new shirt." But they did. Wrapped it in cellophane. Made it home perfectly intact. Second (chronologically) but perhaps even more significant, the grill man took the slices of cheese for the burgers and warmed them on the griddle for a few seconds before placing on the patties. Cheese melted perfectly and the burgers kept their crust. Third, I was watching one of the cooks butcher fresh chicken breasts while I was waiting for my food. No Sysco pre-breaded frozen chicken breast here. And the freshness showed through into the sandwich, with the nicely seasoned, crisp breading. Finally, do you have any Grey Poupon? Yes! Dijon mustard packets. We tried the Company Burger and Harlem Fresh Chicken sandwich. They were both great and made to order. Also ordered the regular and sweet potato fries, generous portions and well seasoned. Also, the chocolate shake. Cheat day? It probably took about 10-15 mins for my food from when I ordered to when I walked out. A special note on the Company sauce, try it! Don't be a fool like yours truly and assume it was going to be another Special Sauce/Thousand Island facsimile. I pity the fool. It's a truffle mayo (which is subtle and does not have that overpowering artificial truffle oil smell.)

Sometimes all you need is a good burger and fry combo to cure your soul after a long day. That was me last week Thursday. So we stopped by Harlem Burger Co and ordered the westide cowgirl and it was delicious! The bun was soft and fluffy, the meat was tender and juicy and the sauce was the perfect sweet addition to bacon cheese burger. We also ordered the macaroni and cheese and sweet potato fries which were both amazing additions! The food does take awhile to cook, so be prepared to wait but I definitely think it was worth it!

Great food and the owner is a great addition to the neighborhood. Take your children for a burger, they will thank you.

Alpner owns Harlem Burger, Harlem Pizza and sliced! He is a phenomenal guy with a great personality and an eye for great food If you visit Harlem burger, Muhammad and Mata do a great job on the grill. Be sure to thank them for your meal! Monsour mans the register and delivers the food. He's so sweet. About he food, I usually come here just for hand cut fries. It's amazing and fresh. However they encouraged me to try the miso friend cod and I was in heaven! The sauce in the sandwich was amazing. You must order!

This place used to be good, but they're not reliable anymore. The past few orders I've placed have either been VERY late, or completely cancelled by the restaurant. Tonight, they called several hours after placing the order saying they don't have any delivery people to send it. I could understand if they called within 30 min, but 3 hours is ridiculous. I'm officially giving up on them. There are comparable (and better) burgers from other places that offer much better service.

I haven't eaten all day and was tired of ordering the same thing on door dash, so I tried something new. I ordered the impossible burger with fries and a uptown drink. This place is 7 min away from me so idk why my order took 40 min...iguess that's why my fries and burger was cold. Not only was it cold, half of the bun from my burger was missing. Completely gone and all I could think of was that a rat nibbles on this half because ain't no way...oh yeah, and they forget my uptown drink. Kill me mow.

Best best best burger in Harlem! Real beef. Home made fries. It is simply the best. I strongly recommend this place for a great meal.

I went to Harlem burger today 8/2. It was abysmal for the reasons listed below: 1) The French (I'm assuming) woman who took my order was incredibly rude. I could not understand part of what she was saying due to her accent. I was being patient and kept repeating what I thought she said, so I could make sure I understood. All of a sudden she became very nasty and began to raise her voice. 2) I requested my burger medium. It was well. Well as in overcooked actually. It was completely dry. In addition to being overcooked, the burger had no flavor. The patty could not have been seasoned. It was so incredibly bland. 3) The fries, decent. But I had to ask for the truffle mayo because they forgot it. The rude woman who took my order threw it across the counter. I like to be accurate in my recount of events - by threw it was not airborne it remained on the counter. It was not placed in front of me, it was not handed to me, it was thrown across the counter. Between the awful service, incorrect order, and flavorless patty, I won't be returning. Abysmal.

First time I ordered from Harlem food. Tried tge fish sandwich, great food and fast service.

If this business really wants to get return busy, the service really needs to be improved. If I'm the only person in the store making an order, it shouldn't take 20+ minutes to get my order. I understand online orders are coming in but it happens again and again. Might have to take my business elsewhere

Love this place and the high quality beef. No other burger places offer Niman Ranch beef. Not sure those criticizing prices understand the health benefits of truly natural beef. Other notes: company sauce is to die for and the Zeppolis are incredible if you have room. Three cheers for the aioli that comes with fries!! Also I found the staff nice but busy. This place is new and they are getting their groove on. Update: just had the tastiest most satisfying burger!! There had been slowness in there credit card processing but they've fixed it. Thanks for listening HBC!

Man, the one thing that I wanted (the burger with pizza dough), the restaurant did not have. Unfortunately, I did not feel like waiting 30 minutes for one of the workers to get some pizza dough from the nearby pizza place. No worries, I opted to have the Westside Cowgirl burger, which was pretty darn tasty. Also, I went for the chili cheese jalapeno fries, because YOLO. Unfortunately (again), the fries were not as amazing as the burger. The fries were kinda cold and the cheese was not melted. Although the burgers were good, it took the folks about 35 minutes to make them. We did visit on a late Saturday afternoon, and it looked like the restaurant was short-staffed. It's a decent place to visit if you are in the neighborhood, but I probably would not travel more than three avenues to dine here.

Great stop to grub up after getting your drank on nearby! Maybe it's the five drinks I had beforehand, but the burger I got here was great. The Classic was a thick, juicy patty with fresh toppings and perfectly-melty cheese. I'd get it again even without alcohol in my system, or opt for one of their fusion-ized options like the Lamb-burgh with tzatziki, roasted red peppers, and feta.

You get 1/5 for making my son sick. Period. 1/5 for your shoddy service and attitude. 1/5 for overcooking my fries. 1/5 for giving me the same batch of hard shoestring fries instead of turning down your temp and making me a new batch. 1/5 for hanging a picture of Biggie's right eye, Nas' left and Jay-Z lipstick covered lips. Anyone knows that when fries come out brown, they will be hard before they sizzle out in your mouth. Been here 5 or 6 times bc it's convenient when grocery shopping at Best Market. Staff don't even like the owners. Everybody got attitude except brother w his eye on keeping the joint clean. And, Abby...girl...they must've cut you some large, fresh fries just for that GLARING review. Hell, I want your fries!!! Do not support this business. They make great shakes, a pretty tasty mac/cheese and basic fries. But for the love of God, get rid of those thick and dry burger buns! Please search for a softer brioche roll bakery. Then your burger will make everything about you better than that other Harlem burger joint.

This place used to make one of the tasiest turkey burgers and some cris and amazing sweet potato fries. Not any more! The last few times I went they've been less tasty. soggy oily fries and burger not even close to the juicy flavory ones the used to make. Couldnt even distinguish Cheedar cheese from american. Dissapointing. Will ony eat here again in an EXTREME emergency.

Ordered from here several times to dine in, takeout and delivery. Decent food but on my last visit the restaurant was disgusting. Nothing had been cleaned with dried ketchup everywhere. Writing this review as I'm waiting for over 20 minutes for my order as they had a mixup, needed to charge cash only and whatever other excuse they had. This area needs a casual burger joint. They could be better but unfortunately they aren't.

Great little burger joint on frederick douglass boulevard serving an assortment of burger classics. The shop has an awesome personality of crowd favorites include shakes, sliders, fries, sandwiches and sides. Not the largest restaurant on the block, but was still perfect for me and my gf to grab dinner. We split the el barrio and chili cheese jalapeno fries, which was perfectly sized for both of us. Food only took about 10 minutes to cook, which we promptly finished 10 minutes later. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium for me and the fries came super loaded with chili and cheese. I wished I had the opportunity to try the shakes which I hear are delicious. Whether you want delivery, takeout, or dine in, this is a great addition to the neighborhood!

McDonald's af. The burger and fries were a choking hazard. I was starving and scarfed it down and hated myself, which is typically something I would reserve for 2 dollar hamburgers from McDonald's. I got the Harlem burger (burger, potato bun, and secret sauce) and truffle fries. The burger was about what I'd expect out of McDonald's, minus the great sauce. The fries were a disaster: dry like dirt, no salt, the cheapest truffle oil I've ever tasted, no actual truffles involved. I want to love you guys, but please: go eat somewhere that charges the prices you do and see where quality meets money. I'm sorry, again. I want you to see this and realize people know how bad it is and change. It's not personal

Maybe it's my fault for ordering a chicken sandwich at a burger joint but the sandwich was just quite tasteless and dry. It could have used spice, a sauce or mayo, perhaps salt in the batter? What a bummer!

This place is quite expensive for having such an average burger and minimal vibe/aesthetic. Takes A LONG TIME to get your food, a long time, every time. As far as the burger goes, it is average at very best. Five guys or shake shack is waayy better. Also, you can't get a black and white shake here, WTF!?, its a burger place, how do you not makes B&Ws?

I've been waiting to try this place out for sometime. While I have been trying to find the next Harlem gem to recommend to my hungry friends, Harlem burger falls a little short of that recommendation. Lets begin! 1. Decor: From the graffiti art walls, chalkboard writing and wooden countertops. harlem burger does a great job in inviting the consumer into thinking they are going to have something they have never tried before. i'm not sure how the granite tables and the replica public school chairs mix but it doesn't. no offense. (i went to public school too) 2. food: i kinda expected to be wowed by their house burger. i was expecting to taste the flavors of harlem all in one bite. let's say i would still go to my local deli to pick up the lunch special cheeseburger with fries and a can of coke for $4.25. waiting 10-12 mins for the food doesn't help. Fries? not bad. 3. price : average check is about $30 just for two people. i cant imagine having 5-6 friends here as seats are also limited depending on time of day. everything seems to be a la carte. so please watch what you order as it seems to add up right in front of you. in conclusion, i would come here to show some friends from out of town.. hey there's this burger joint close by. lets grab a bite. it wouldn't be a place i'd jump for joy for.

I've never given a burger joint 1 star! Never... how can you go wrong with a burger slider? No pickles. No lettuce. No diced onions. No tomatoes. I clearly understand that most silders only come with a few burger staples. However there was nanda-zilch- nothing! We should have hinted how disappointing it was going to be when the cashier asked cheese??? Yes why not. Swiss Cheese please! When we received our order. I wonder where were all the toppings? So I opened my slider and there it was cheese and a bit of a version of a thousand island sauce dabbed on. I am open to patronizing this place again. I will offer them another chance. Seating is really tight! I had to get up to let the person behind me through.

Ok, I'm giving 4 stars because the credit card machine takes FOREVERRRRR and something needs to be done about that soon. BUT Aside from that, I'm going to review the things I've tried here. The turkey burger: I've had two types - the regular one (I've had it twice and it has a name, but for the life of me I cannot remember because it's finals week and the taste matters more than the name) - with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and some sauce that tastes pretty good. And then the spinach and tomatoes (I held the chipotle on this because I'm not a fan of chipotle). The patty has been consistently seasoned well and the burger is cooked well (it's not dry at all). The spicy truffle mac and cheese: so good, so cheesy, medium spicy (but my tongue is not yours so don't take my word for it) - they use bow-tie pasta and the put breadcrumbs or panic on top - not sure which but it adds a nice little crunch. The French fries: they're almost like shoestring, and they're fresh. I shared them with a stranger today at my school (IDEK how these things happen) and she was impressed.

The good: Solid burger. Got the Western Cowgirl. I found it flavorful and packed with ingredients and textures to make it a very satisfying eat. The garlic fries with aioli are delicious. I wish they were a little crisper, but the bag they put them in seems to trap steam and contributes to the loss of crispiness. The bad: The one dude taking my order seemed distracted and couldn't be bothered to crack a smile. He looked like he may have been the manager because he was dressed differently from the others working there, but I could be wrong. It's okay, I got plenty of smiles from the coworker working the other register. The dude didn't give me a soda cup either. I asked the other cashier for it. No problem. Lighten up dude and follow your true life's calling. This isn't it. The price point is ridiculous. Total sticker shock. $21 and change for a burger, fries, and a soda. I understand that the ingredients are premium, they are good, I actually don't mind the price of the burger but fries and soda alone are $7. Wha? If they would have even knocked off $1 from each menu item, I might be more inclined to go back. As it is now, I may go back but skip the fries or the soda. Speaking of soda, they just opened for the day (5pm) yet the machine was completely out of all the no-calorie options and really had only full sugar Coke and Dr. Pepper. Definitely, not worth the $3 or the calories since I don't drink the fully leaded stuff and of course, they couldn't be bothered to refill it with syrups. Whatevs.

Garbage. To think, I could have gone to Burger King. To wait 20 minutes for a burger the size of a drink coaster and then pay $13.50 for that and a drink. I was furious. A cheeseburger is $9.50, a drink is $3 and an order of fries is $3.50. After the 20 minutes I waited, I spent the rest of my time wondering where I would get my next meal when I was hungry in 2 hours. Pure robbery. Never go here, not even once.
