I’d heard lots of buzz about Harlem Coffee, and let me tell you, those reviews weren’t exaggerating. I found them at their pop-up inside Sauvage Wine Bar in the Willo District, and it was just what the caffeine doctor ordered. Walking into Sauvage (a cozy wine bar known for natural & biodynamic wines) , Harlem Coffee transforms the space into a morning haven of coffee smells, mellow vibes, and welcoming energy. Harlem positions itself as more than just a coffee stand; as a mobile, intentional experience that brings people together over well-crafted drinks. The staff? Friendly, skilled, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their barista game is strong. The coffee? Beautifully brewed. I tried “The Louis” and it absolutely hit the spot, exactly that perfect balance of bold, smooth, and soul-warming. Atmosphere + staff + coffee = one winning combo. I’ll definitely be back. If you ever see Harlem Coffee pop-up in town (especially at Sauvage), go. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Such a cozy spot! Very warm and inviting with plenty of comfortable seating. I tried the Kinfolk coffee and highly recommend it!!smooth, flavorful, and just what I needed. We sat, chatted, and felt totally relaxed. Definitely can’t wait to come back for happy hour!

Always classy. The signature Louis latte👌🏼 Always vibes and great music. FYI Sauvage has like 5 different corners inside you can hang with a party of 4 and plenty of seats outside.

Harlem has the BEST matcha in Phoenix. Hands down. I am matcha obsessed and they don’t skimp ever. Kendrick the owner is one of the most kind hearted and customer centric people I’ve met. The atmosphere is different from any coffee shop in the valley. I love supporting them and highly suggest you do as well 🤍🫶🏼

Harlem is easily one of my favorite places to get coffee in Phoenix. The drinks (whether it’s coffee or matcha) are always excellent, and the quality is consistent every time. What really makes this place stand out is the staff: kind, welcoming, and genuinely warm to everyone who walks in. I recommend Harlem to anyone looking for great coffee and an even better atmosphere. It’s a true local gem.

If you love sitting and staying a while with a good cup of coffee, this is the place to be. The baristas are so warm and welcoming, and you can tell the drinks are made with love!

Love this small local coffee shop. It’s the kind of place you can tell thought and care went into every detail. Customer service is great as everyone has been super friendly and helpful. Like I bet if your coffee is generously filled to the top and grabbing a lid is slightly inconvenient, they would offer to hold it for you while you get one or pour some off the top if you just managed to communicate it. I love small supporting local businesses and giving them a chance to shine! 5 stars all the way. Not a chip in anyone’s shoulder, just people that are into coffee! Additionally the ambience of Sauvage, in which it’s located, makes it a really nice place to sit and just hang out for a bit. Parking can be tight but there is street parking at a reasonable distance.

Some of my favorite local baristas recommended Harlem Coffee Co. to me this week. It's located inside a Sauvage Wine Bar. I'm usually a macchiato drinker, but I went for the Louis, a special with a bourbon reduction. I had it over ice, and it had a hint of sweetness without overpowering the espresso. My wife had a strawberry espresso tonic seasonal, which was also excellent. I also had a peanut butter-oatmeal-chocolate chip cookie which was as good as it sounds. Parking is a bit tricky, but Harlem Coffee is worth the effort.
