I wish I could give them more than five stars. Harley’s is by far the best butchery I’ve ever been to. James and the team are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. They have such a wide variety of beef, poultry, pork, and charcuterie, specializing in exceptional quality cuts including Galician Blonde beef which to me is the best beef period. Their rotisserie chicken is also the best I’ve ever had—truly top-tier. Definitely order ahead to secure one. I was lucky enough to try one of their burgers on Saturday, and it was outstanding quality too. Get a basque cheesecake and/or chocolate mousse for dessert—trust me. I rarely review places but Harley’s was just that exceptional. This place makes me want to move to London. Cheers to James and the team for what they’ve built here.

Decent rotiserrie chicken but not sure how I feel about the cooking temp (see photo). Roast potatoes some of the best I’ve ever had though!

Harley’s ! What can I say - Chicken unbelievable. Tasty, tender, delicious. Roast potatoes and gravy a perfect match. Service was great, James was very helpful. We were lucky to get one of the 4 tables and sit outside . I also couldn’t resist the basque cheesecake which was as good as those I had in Donostia. We will be back.

Popped in on opening weekend and was seriously impressed. The shop looks amazing - really clean, beautifully laid out, and full of top-quality meats. You can tell from the moment you walk in that this isn’t just another butcher. I was served by Mr Harley Himself and he couldn’t have been more help! He explained how to cook everything so that I could get the best out of my steak and his instruction was spot on!! I picked up a couple of ribeye steaks and some of their homemade sausages - both were absolutely delicious you have to try the cheesy sausage! I was blown away. The meat is clearly a cut above the rest, but what really stood out was the service. The team were so welcoming and clearly passionate about what they’re doing. They took time to chat, gave great advice, and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. It already feels like one of those local gems you’re lucky to have nearby. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

Amazing addition to Hampstead. The meat selection is unreal, we’ve had the steaks last week & I’m still talking about them. Rotisserie chicken is certainly worth the wait! We got one for dinner last night and it was so so good I will be back again for more. Potatoes are delicious too 😍 Keep up the good work guys 👏🏼

Excellent chicken, great cheesecake, and really lovely owners! We came back twice today - once for the burger and cheesecake, and once for the chicken and potatoes. The chicken was really the standout, but everything was delicious! Will be coming back again soon!

Tried to contact to discuss before leaving a review, but there is no contact number. Bought sausages and charged different to label - £16.95 per kilo instead of £12.95 on label - great sausages, but not worth £16.75, and I like to know what I'm paying for. Plus even the person serving me coukdnt identify which was what sausage type due to poor labling. Potatoes with roast chicken - £3.95, again shows container full of potatoes, which it is, but the potatoes are small, so instead of getting enough for two or dare i say, the size of the chicken you get a portion for one person. Gravy or Jus - £2.95 for something that should be free - its a by product of the cooking process and i've always had it included for free, and in greater quantity. Lastly the chicken - reassuringly expensive and given what i've said above, good value. Like others have said, red and "blood" near bone - hopefully this is the colour and it was probed properly. Its a large chicken which with adequate potatoes and a salad will feed 4 people. I would certainly return for the chicken, and might be forced to buy jus. How about £30, chicken, jus and a decent amount of potatoes?
