Bought sausages and charged different to label - £16.95 per kilo instead of £12.95 on label - great sausages, but not worth £16.75, and I like to know what I'm paying for. Plus even the person serving me coukdnt identify which was what sausage type due to poor labling.
Potatoes with roast chicken - £3.95, again shows container full of potatoes, which it is, but the potatoes are small, so instead of getting enough for two or dare i say, the size of the chicken you get a portion for one person.
Gravy or Jus - £2.95 for something that should be free - its a by product of the cooking process and i've always had it included for free, and in greater quantity.
Lastly the chicken - reassuringly expensive and given what i've said above, good value. Like others have said, red and "blood" near bone - hopefully this is the colour and it was probed properly.
Its a large chicken which with adequate potatoes and a salad will feed 4 people.
I would certainly return for the chicken, and might be forced to buy jus.
How about £30, chicken, jus and a decent amount of potatoes?
