"As Thanksgiving weekend drew to a close, two women allege that they were drugged by a bartender at Harlowe MXM in Deep Ellum. “The preliminary investigation determined the victims went to a local hospital after going to a business, consuming beverages, and becoming ill,” a spokesperson for the Dallas Police Department wrote in an email, confirming to Eater Dallas that a police report was filed on November 27. The investigation is ongoing." - Courtney E. Smith

This place was absolutely amazing! Mrs. Rachael was very accommodating for my best friends birthday. I would choose this place 10 times over. The food was great and I have no complaints about this place whatsoever. I would definitely plan on going back, wait let’s not even get on the rooftop. That was so much fun, the vibes were on 10. You will definitely enjoy yourself if you pick this place. Food came out fast, and my waitress was super kind. 15/10 recommendation!

This was a very cool spot for us to have had brunch together today. We definitely enjoyed the rooftop experience. Our food was a eight out of ten. The service and hosting was a 10+ Rachel, Santiago, and Erika were all Phenomenal...we did run Santiago crazy lol...we definitely appreciated his service. When we asked could he wipe down the sofas for us he had no problem with doing so Awesome hospitality. We'll return for sure, Rachel recommended coming back for dinner next time. I sure will. Thanks to the Proprietor and the excellent staff.

This place is a very dynamic all in one venue, with a vibrant diner complete with a full bar and wonderful food. It also has a courtyard with a craft cocktail bar named Trick Pony and a lively patio bar with live DJ performances featuring the best local Dj’s. The staff is wonderful and it has a bit of something to offer everyone.

Went for brunch at 11 on a Saturday and it was not crowded at all. The food was delicious though. I got the chorizo and potato taco. They use homemade cilantro tortillas which were delicious. I'm not the biggest cilantro fan, but I really liked the tortilla. Their hand cut sea salt fries are great too. Reminded me of fries you would get on a boardwalk in New Jersey. They had a mimosa bar which was pretty fun too. They give you a lot of champagne for a "glass". I'd say good enough for two mimosas for the price. The Hawaiian donuts were really good and came with a cinnamon butter that brought them over the top. They were light and fluffy and good on their own too. They also have frozen mules which is a cool idea (no pun intended).

Was a nice place for a party of about 10. Everything was on point from the appetizers to the food, and the drinks were stiff and on point as well. The food was delicious and the waiters and staff was so outstanding with their customer service. The rooftop was off the chain and nice atmosphere

The food had a good look and the recommended drink were horrible. Eye went there for brunch. Hopefully next eye visit eyell do dinner. Seasoning is a persons best friend. The waffle without syrup was good.

Food was really good! Hubs ordered the Chicken & Waffles and I the Salmon Salad. Had the Mimosa Fruit Bar-Proseco. It was a bit tart, but we brightened it up with some fruit. Our waitress Jessica was really helpful with suggestions!.Great job Harlowe!.

Excellent service, the food was good and full of flavor, in good portion sizes, creative drinks as well. The environment is dope. Check them out for brunch, we sure did!

Yelp
This was the starting point of our Halloween bar crawl. There were two separate large seating areas on the first floor with bars, an interior courtyard and a huge rooftop with bars and seating. There is an interesting view of the city from the roof. The ambiance was upscale. Classy, especially downstairs. Bartender was very attentive and made us special holiday drinks, substituting for our dietary restrictions. Drinks were expensive.

Yelp
Stopped at Harlowe MXM before our flight and I'm glad we did. Place was empty so we were seated and taken care of right away. Megan was our server and she was very personable. The Deep Ellum Tots is a must to share but if I was by myself, I would have easily devoured it. We also ordered the Harlowe breakfast, the Cubano and the Lobster Roll .. all were good but nothing stood out like the tots. Wishing Harlowe MXM continued success!!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to this bar after dinner. The music made us go check it out. Atmosphere was fine. Music was good. My boyfriend's drink was fine. I barely had a buzz. I ordered a margarita with casa migos (weak) and an old fashioned for him. I went for round two. This time I ordered a shot of casa migos. . I look at the receipt , wtf??!!! I got charged for two shots of casa migos. Had I known that I wouldn't have ordered the weak margarita I was served. Ontop of that. There was a service charge of $1.14. Automatic gratuity if 20% ($7.80). Which I caught when signing for the bill. I tipped an extra $3. I look at my receipt the next day. I was also charged 25% ($9.50) for a large party. It was literally me and my boyfriend and we ordered at the bar!!! I will never go back- because why all the extra charges. A $59 bill and I left without even a buzz.

Yelp
Sunday funday! I got the Deep Ellum tots and they were really good!!! The tater tots were crispy, pork tender, and queso good lol. Our server Jordan was really cool and took care of us. It was a little hot on the patio but they have plenty of shade and fans. They weren't as packed as I thought they would be so that was even better.

Yelp
This is a comfortable rooftop for a lot of people to partake. I've been here numerous times. From summer evenings with a cigar group meetup to, evenings in winter when the weather is pleasant to pop-in's after brunch on the weekend when it feels like half of Dallas is there or waiting to get in to hear what's normally some good dj action. I'd recommend trying a couple different bar tenders because your drink selection varies widely depending on who's working and/or who takes your order.

Yelp
I can't even figure out where to start. Life has been really hard - like my blood pressure has been so high at times, its "go to an emergency room immediately" high lately. Wednesday I had a long, but good day. On a whim I decided to see if one of my friends was working. I showed up, he was not there. You know who was there? TOM. Tom was so welcoming, so hospitable, so freaking awesome. He made sure I felt welcome and comfortable. I sat on the rooftop with my iPad. I felt the nice breeze and the chill vibes. For the first time in a very long time, I felt a peace I had forgotten existed. I was there with a (redacted) and soda for 2 hours. Sipping slowly, relaxing, casting my cares and fears in to the breeze. Tom came by and took a selfie with me. We chatted for a minute and I left feeling grateful. Feeling like I have another place to go visit when I'm in Deep Ellum, as I like to go and see friends working down there from time to time. I came home, sat at the edge of my bed. 117/75. I haven't seen those numbers in months. I don't know what it was about the experience. I was there for 2 hours, maybe that's what my soul needed. A good hug, AMAZING HOSPITALITY, immediate acceptance, chill location, and above all, kindness. Well done, Harlowe. Tom is an asset.

Yelp
While this place is super cute and has $6 martinis on Fridays I would NOT recommend it. Espresso martinis were very good. Sadly the service was not great, we got seated by a staff member that was"off the clock" so there was some confusion when our actual waiter arrived. We were double charged for our drinks and it took 20 minutes to get it straightened out (we think) even though there was only 1 other table in the place being used. I do not like that they do not disclose the 20% surcharges anywhere on the menu or on signage like most places do so it was an unwelcome surprise.

Yelp
I went to Harlowe MXM Friday night with some of my best friends around 9 PM after walking through Deep Ellum. We did not pay a cover fee to go upstairs to the rooftop area. They had a djay that played a good mix of hip hop, r&b and trending hits that you'd hear on TikTok. I recommend arriving early to grab a seat or table. The servers were kind of scattered throughout, but not really thorough with service as far as checking in on the people in their sections. Because of that, we ordered all of our drinks at the bar. The bartenders were funny and made great drinks. I ordered a few Casamigos margaritas and had shots at the bar nearest the restrooms. I didn't order food because we ate dinner elsewhere before, but my friend ordered the loaded fries for $14.99 and said that they were good. One of the servers was training a new waitress and she attempted to give my friend the wrong credit card after she paid for the loaded fries. About an hour later, my friend realized that there was an extra charge for $50 for something that she didn't order, and we had to find the waitress (who stopped checking in) and the manager to get it resolved. It didn't ruin the experience, but I'd recommend checking your account and saving your receipts or bringing cash to pay for your food and drinks just in case. The restrooms were small with two unisex stalls available and no soap! I was happy to have my own hand sanitizer and recommend that you bring it with you too. Overall, we had fun dancing and singing along with with the music. It was a good time and didn't cost too much! I'd definitely come back when visiting Dallas.

Yelp
Found our way into this establishment for the express purpose of enjoying some cocktails. They have $7 Martini variations on Fridays and a good selection of other cocktails. Nothing flashy about the place but served it's purpose to kill a couple hours.

Jordan G.

Yelp
Food was fine, but the server couldn't care less about being there. She complained to us the whole time, and then we never saw her again. Maybe this was a one off, but for sure not the vibe for Sunday brunch.

Allaina F.

Yelp
I really like the laid back atmosphere on the rooftop at Harlowe. The DJ keeps the music rolling and the food was good to me. If you get any drink...get the watermelon margarita!

Amy R.

Yelp
The review is more 3.5 star review appropriate, the food was excellent, it was the service and ambiance that could've been a bit better. When we arrived we decided to sit in the rooftop, directions on how to get there and what to do were very vague. You wait to be seated inside, but apparently it's open seating at the rooftop..or we assumed because there was not any signage or someone to help us out. We had to wait forever to have menus brought and to be waited on. Apparently there was a "mixup and misunderstanding" on who had what section. The music at the rooftop you couldn't have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. I understand the place has a "vibe" but it would be nice to have a conversation without yelling at someone sitting 6 inches away from you. We were there for Sunday brunch and the drink and food selection was decent. There was something for most to try, from sweets to savory and small bites to share. The drinks were small, given the price in my opinion. The mimosas were good but the sangria was sub par. We had to wait quite a bit for our food to come out but it was all tasty and fairly good sized portions. We had the pigs in a blanket, biscuits and gravy, Harlowe breakfast, and French toast soufflé. My one complaint is the gravy for the biscuits was on the edge of breaking and looked like it was beginning to separate. I would give this place another chance but there's also so many other places in the neighborhood, I would t be rushing back either.

Cory H.

Yelp
Spent some time here on the rooftop and had a good time. Loved the view up here and the dj was playing great music. Drinks were really good and this place had a very nice vibe. Next time I come I will definitely have to try the food out.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Great music by the DJ is what drew me in. Overpriced small drinks is what drew me out.$12 WELL LIQUOR for a tiny plastic cup and then an auto gratuity added without being told is poor business. I would not recommend based on this.

Meagan C.

Yelp
My husband & I came to Harlow for my 30th birthday. Katie was our waitress. She was FANTASTIC. She was attentive, kind, funny, & quick. Previous reviews made me hesitant about what the service would be like, but we had a 10/10 experience. For drinks we had the summer old fashioned & a dirty martini. They were great. We shared fried calamari, & we were so impressed! I ordered the lobster roll & my husband ordered the shrimp & chips. The food was wonderful. The lobster roll was generous & the shrimp were large & thinly breaded. Everything was piping hot & fresh. We will absolutely be back to have the $1 oysters on Wednesdays & the $6 martinis on Fridays!

Tenneil M.

Yelp
Delicious brunch, grease service and neat building. Enjoyed the lobster roll, fried chicken with biscuits & gravy, and deviled eggs!

Ben L.

Yelp
Mandatory gratuity and other service fees must be posted and are not. We aren't allowed to decide how much to tip. Service can be terrible or it can be great. The food can be lousy or amazing. Do we get to choose what we want to tip? No I realize this is the new way restaurants would love to do business but there's no reason consumers have to support it. Staff was actually friendly and the food was good. But this establishment still gets only 1 star from me

Roma B.

Yelp
The place was empty on a Thursday evening. Parking was also really hard to find in Deep Ellum. I was not impressed by the quality of food, very subpar. Not enough marinara sauce on the pizza, it was very bland. The hummus had a weird texture and taste to it. The only redeeming factor was the cheesecake. We ordered cappuccinos, but they didn't have milk for it.

Leigh S.

Yelp
Lifesavera tonight. for the short version. fantastic service, amazing food, great prices, fun ambiance Longer version... OMG these guys saved our business meeting tonight. Our reserved restairs the for a 14 person dinner lost power, and we didn't find out until we got there! Imagine trying to find a decent place for a 14 person biz dinner, last minute, on a Saturday night in vibe central. We went to the place we found on open table. omg NOPE not a biz dinner environment. Two of us are walking and going in amd out of various establishments, trying to find somewhere even remotely acceptable to no avail. Until we stumbled on Harlowe MXM. Cute vibe. We peeped the amazing menu and quickly sought the manager who calmly said "sure we can handle it, give me a sec." Within 5 minutes they had a table for 14, appetizers and wine on the way, and took all in stride. The clients arrived, and within minutes the huge order of really delicious appetizers was already being brought out, along with wine and specialty drinks. Food and service were AMAZING. And to top it all off? Gabriel waited on us calmly, without writing A SINGLE THING DOWN. Legit. he didn't miss a beat all evening long. best service and food we've had in AGES. it was truly flawless and we're truly grateful! For what it's worth, it clearly has grest night life too. We left a biz-30 just as the night scene started showing up. By the look of the gorgeous ppl strolling in, Harlowe clearly has a great night scene too! thank you mr tall bearded hottie manager guy and super amazing Gabriel!!!!! And phenom kitchen crew!

Yelp
The make your own sparkling bar was a win. It's like two drinks for the price of one. There were so many options to choose from to make your own cocktail. The restaurant itself is nice as far as decor and ambience. The bartender was cool and provided good recommendations. There is also an upstairs area.

Terrance G.

Yelp
The only reason for the 3 stars i the service. Outside of the service, which is very impactful, this place is cool. It's got an inside and rooftop area where they will have love dis and do a great bottomless mimosa brunch. Definitely a nice spot to people watch or vibe out or dance so plenty of choices on what you want to do. Also despite the poor service the chicken sandwich i had on the brioche bun was very good. They definitely didn't skimp on the chicken or fries at all.

LeShea B.

Yelp
Thursday 4pm right at open time Upstairs is a different vibe than downstairs. Music up, silent down. People started showing up around 5. There weren't many at the bar. I tried the loaded fries (I believe that's the name). They were alright. Cheese was good. I'll return. Nothing much to review--. Nice location. Will update when I return.

J Y.

Yelp
i been to this place one time and was escorted out due to discrimination !!! aslo i bout a $18 drink but now my updated charge is now $38 and mind u im broke so i put 0 for the tip the drink already high !!! i dont promote this bad business at all !!!!!

Dominique K.

Yelp
Poor service. Walked out before we even ordered. I went with my wife and I was very disappointed in our experience.

Jena C.

Yelp
Nice music. That's where it ends. Getting $12 worth of food and paying $20 is ridiculous. I'll take that fault because the waiter never showed me my bill and I didn't realize gratuity was already added. Sneaky but still my fault. What wasn't my fault is how nasty the food was. That 20 would've not been so important had the food been good. Disappointed.

Cass J.

Yelp
This was my first time here. We sat on the rooftop. There was nice ambiance and an ok view. In the section we were in there was lots of seating. The DJ was great. The drinks were nice a strong. I had the Buffalo chicken egg rolls. Wow! Lots of flavor which might be somewhat overwhelming for some people. It wasn't too spicy like you might think with a Buffalo anything. The sad part was they charged 20% gratuity and I definitely wouldn't have given our waitress that. She was nice, but not worth 20%. The 20% added gratuity was isn't even printed or advertised any place and she didn't tell us before she charged us the gratuity. She lost my receipt that showed she charged me 20% gratuity and took forever to bring it back. I had to go to the bar area for my receipt and my card. Other than the waitress and surprise gratuity it was a fun experience.

Valerie V.

Yelp
Coolest bar in the city! The music brought me here and I was determined to find how to get access to rooftop bar. There is a flight of stairs behind trick pony and also an elevator behind the first floor of Harlow's. The music was a throw back of 90s/00s hip hop, R&B and Jazz mixed by DJ Phyee and a musician playing the Saxophone hitting high notes in sync with the mix. The rooftop is cigar friendly. They had a table of hand rolled cigars all sizes offered by Mo'smoke cigars. I was sad that they closed at midnight on Wednesday and would of stayed longer. Drinks are fair priced. Look for Garrett behind the bar he's friendly, down to earth and makes drinks strong. They also have an impressive food menu. If you decide to make one stop in Deep Ellum choose them!

Ashley O.

Yelp
My family and I went here for a 21st birthday celebration, and we really wished we didn't. Everyone ordered something different and we all felt the same. The food was overly salty, and didn't seem fresh. The menu was overpriced and the service was terrible. Gratuity was added for the large party but that wasn't displayed on the receipt. This place is purely for the aesthetics of the rooftop. I'd imagine going there for some drinks would be fine, but eating there wouldn't be considered again.

Shayla H.

Yelp
This experience is from April 1st. Upstairs was not it. The security guards let in who they were attracted to and held up the line. The wait to get upstairs is ridiculous and the line is long. I wouldn't have to see that rooftop again.

Jai H.

Yelp
Food was delicious, service was excellent and the rooftop brunch was definitely a vibe.

Fatima C.

Yelp
Only experienced the rooftop for drinks on Sunday not the actual restaurant. The drinks were disgusting. Their frozen watermelon marg wasn't working but the bartender was still going to serve me that marg on the rocks that wasn't mixed well and watery. This should've been my que to go. Then I asked if she could at least put a shot in it and she laughed and declined. I then order a regular margarita and couldn't even drink it. I had to ask her twice to put sugar/simple syrup and that still didn't even help. It was probably the worst drink I ever had. Nothing worse than your money going down the drain.

Sarah A.

Yelp
Great vibes, great food, great music, great service, great drinks. We went for Sunday brunch and ordered the deep ellum (loaded) tots, lobster roll, and fajita steak tacos - everything was so good! our drinks were great (bloody mary's) and our server Neysa was so nice and helpful!!!!

Malia F.

Yelp
Honestly disappointed. We were visiting from Cali and was recommended this spot. Made a reservation for 8:45pm and when we got there we were definitely feeling the vibes! Got seated and were told someone would be with us shortly. Our server came by 15 minutes later just to tell us she'll be with us shortly. Then 9:15pm came around (30 minutes) where she finally was ready to help get our drinks. We just told her we were ready to order so that we didn't have to keep waiting. We proceeded to order only for her to tell us that the kitchen only serves certain things after a certain time..... At this point we're confused because when we looked up the restaurant we didn't see anything mentioning that and out of the entire menu the waitress only mentioned 4 items that were available... by that point we're annoyed because we waited 30 minutes for someone to tell us that we can't have the food we wanted because they stopped serving it at a certain time. This has got to be a joke. We just told her we're okay and that we were better off leaving if it's only chicken wings they'll be serving. From 8:45pm - 9:15pm it really took the server that long to finally see us. That's ridiculous and a disappointment smh. Thank goodness we ran into Postino's up the road because we ended up having a better time there.

Netta F.

Yelp
reserved a party for Sunday, July 17th for my best friend's 50th birthday. We had a party of 19. Your hostesses and the waiter were very professional and treated us great! Your "chef" left us with a horrible taste in our mouths. Let me preface this by saying we saw on several social media sites where your restaurant was very trendy, and had a great vibe, food, and drinks. We were all looking forward to attending. Upon arrival, our tables were prepared and there was cool water on the table. It was a hot day Sunday, so this was very appreciated! The waiter explained how he wanted to manage the ordering process and we all complied. It was very smooth! Someone ordered the BBQ chicken spring rolls/eggrolls. When they arrived at the table, she thought they were dark and burnt. She sent them back to the kitchen. The "chef" came out to the table, his energy was very negative. He asked her what was wrong with the food. She started to explain and he cut her off mid-sentence. She tried to explain again and he cut off again and said in a very condensing tone "well I don't know if you've ever had a spring roll." She tried to talk again and he cut her off AGAIN, saying "I will remove them from your tab". Then walked away as she was still trying to explain herself. This was witnessed by the entire party as well as other patrons of the restaurant. We asked for a manager. He returned to the table and said "i'm the manager" and smirked in her face. She tried to talk to him again about the food he presented, and he began to cut her AGAIN!!! I intervened and said "never mind, we will leave" By this time, an assistant manager came by and tried to resolve the issue. We informed him that we didn't feel comfortable with that "chef" preparing our food. We paid our bill and left. Mind you, some of the party STILL had not received their food at all. My friend was devastated because she was looking forward to the experience that so many had bragged about online. We received the total opposite. We paid for our drinks and some of the food that was discounted by the other manager. That bill was $228.00. We left there and went to Stir down the sidewalk and spent an additional $1200.00. We were prepared to really spend some money in your place. This experience was definitely one to remember but in a horrible way. He ruined my friend's birthday. Nineteen people now have the memory of your restaurant being just a horrible place to attend, including the other individuals that were around us that witnessed the treatment we received. Finally, if this man is representing your brand, he's doing a horrible job. His customer service was HORRIBLE. He never apologized for being rude, condescending, and overtalking your customers. In conclusion, the amount of time he spent trying to overtalk and be rude to us, he could have just said, "I apologize, let us try this again". That was it.

Brandi B.

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place has so much potential but they staff literally has made it so bad. Our waitress had the worst attitude, I don't know what happened to her for her morning to be ruined. She gave us waters and didn't return for a while, we had to have someone to go get her. Anything we asked about the menu she acted like we were bothering her so we all just stopped asking. The food came out, no seasoning at all. My friend bacon was burned to a crisp and so we let the waitress know and the "chef" came out who we later found out was the manager and was like this is how we cook our bacon (no one else's looked like that) and asked "what you want me to do about it?". Between the waitress and the chef/manager I don't know whose attitude was worst. 0/10. Would not recommend at all.

PW B.

Yelp
You will not find a finer bartender than John. I witnessed him tell a 27 year old woman she's too old to be ordering green tea shots. What a breath of fresh air. John is an excellent bartender and better company. No BS, straight to the point. The diamond in the rough of these four square blocks. Come here simply to drink with John, you'll learn a thing or two. 10/10 guy.

Je'Tara J.

Yelp
Eh. The food here isn't terrible but it's not mouthwatering either. When my first drink came, it was wrong but it also came in a dirty glass (lipstick that wasn't mine was on the rim) . We let that slide because crap happens. Then they brought the right drink out which was a Pineapple Upside Down cocktail - they put it in a plastic cup, it was good. Then for brunch I had the Deep Ellum Tots, they were good. This was probably the best thing I had there. The Pastor Taco was okay. The Cookies (shrimp and pork dumplings) were cold and I didn't eat them at all. The Rockefeller Oysters has a lot of salt on them. Overall the food was, EH - the last bite of my meal i did find a hair (not mine, it was blonde). But the staff was amazing!! They have an amazing group working there for sure.

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Ughhh.. when you go on TX/OU night and only six people in the dining room, it should have been a dead giveaway to run! Wine was good.. oysters were good. Now the steak was disgusting, salad had no flavor, just overall disappointing meal. Won't have to be back!

Zhekaren W.

Yelp
Definitely a vibe! I will be returning. It's a rooftop setting so wear weather appropriate clothing.

Taneesha H.

Yelp
I recently came here for brunch/the Day party . The food was really good I ordered the loaded breakfast tater tots and to drink my friends and I ordered a bottle of champagne. I didn't like that they gave us one small cup of orange juice to split amongst 4 people and we had to pay extra for the juice. Normally when you order a bottle the juice is free so I thought that was really cheap of them and my waitress even agreed. Overall, I would be back. I sat on the rooftop which was nice, the music was cool but it was hot so my suggestion is to invest in more fans.

Yelp
Stopped here for a drink with friends at the upstairs bar yesterday. The tall white guy working the bar was so rude right off the bat that we cancelled our order and immediately left. There are too many cool bars with too many friendly bartenders in this area to put up with that. Won't be back!

Yelp
This is based on food only! Awful awful awful. Did not have the stomach to take pictures. Went here with some girlfriends and every plate was terrible!! Appetizers- dumplings Pork was RAW uncooked and pink Ordered Wings well done lemon pepper DON'T be fooled!! How can you mess up wings?? Chicken had feathers and was a poor quality of chicken had to be from a discount butcher. Disgusting Calamari more dough than calamari my friend loves calamari she ate one!! They order tacos which are actually "fajitas". She said they were "ok" also they ordered a burger she said it was cooked well which means it was prepared how she ordered but said there wasn't any seasoning!! Ordered a sprite came in a CAN flattest Sprite lol It's funny how everything we ordered was awful! But but but THE BACON on the burger was very good. I ordered a side just feel that I had eaten. $5 for one slice but hey at least it was good. And the best part of the night was DARIUS awesome waiter! We didn't tip based on the meal but based on his service. He was very good it wasn't his fault the kitchen and the quality of food sucked!!! The manager did rectify by taking most of the items off that were uneaten. So he did listen to our complaints and concerns. If you have to go here order FRIES and BACON and request Darius other than that eat at your own risk!!!!!

Yelp
Great brunch, lit vibes with the LIVE DJ, & great customer service. The only thing I wasn't happy with were the dirty plates. Even our plastic cups were dirty Other than that, it's a pretty dope spot. Would return, but with my own dishes.

Yelp
The location was beautiful especially with the rooftop seating. However nothing else was satisfying enough to rate this higher. Our waiter was overworked and not very attentive. He brought us a water carafe that had residue of food on the inside. The diet cokes we ordered that we're supposedly from a can were flat and tasted odd. He did remove those from our bill. Food was not memorable. The "fondue" was just a combination of barely melted cheeses. The veggie taco was good but there was too much filling for the tiny tortilla. The view was nice but you have to do better in Deep Ellum.

Yelp
Don't trust that you will get happy hour pricing even though it's happy hour. Had 2 of the froze drinks that are supposed to be $5 each on Thursday before 7:00pm .... guess you have to be blunt and request that. Little shitty since signs were posted everywhere saying $5 and once they run your card that's that. Not the best experience at the first bar we visited from out of town. Wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Love the vibes of this spot. Music was good, drinks were good too. Predominately a black social scene and it made my group and I feel way more comfortable than some of the other spots. I loved how it was an extended two side rooftop so you had space to walk around with so many people and still had enough room to chill with your group without being pushed or shoved. Reminded me of some Brooklyn rooftops I used to be at back in NY. I definitely plan on coming back, I hope they have a Caribbean night for music one day.

Yelp
Food was great. Service not good! Plus I didn't receive my steak taco. Waitress apologized, but was inattentive and made us feel like we were bothersome.

Yelp
I went on a Thursday night with a party of 4. I will say the wait staff was pretty attentive and no real complaints there. However, I was very disappointed in the food and my French 75. We only order the Rockefeller oysters that's about where it stopped. The taste was tasteless and only came with 4 small oysters and for the price the Quantity, and quality was not there. My French 75 was severed warm and chilled and the glass had lip prints and fingerprints on it. Needless to say I sent that back. However, I did try the Golden Fleece and it was great. Ultimately, we ended up eating dinner elsewhere.

Yelp
Bacon. The thick cut bacon was phenomenal. I know it's just bacon, but it was delicious. The drinks were also great. I enjoyed everything here -the roof top, drinks, food, and service. I had the chicken and waffles and it was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the amount of white gravy mixed with the syrup that was all over the chicken and waffles and next time I will ask them to put it on the side. They have a decent brunch list, live music, good drinks (but no drink specials), and a nice rooftop. I really appreciated that they have space heaters so that you can enjoy the roof when the weather is a bit chilly.
