Our third time staying at this chic, boutique hotel situated perfectly near the square and an easy walk to Quail and Condor in the morning! Quiet! Spacious! Great shower and amenities from Hotel Healdsburg Spa. Nice staff. Currently, they are charging a Destination Fee of 35 dollars a day which includes valet parking and use of the pool, bikes if available and morning coffee and teas in the lobby and a pretty small continental breakfast at their sister hotel 2 doors away. A great rooftop bar and small plate area is open after 3 most days. All in all, a very special 39 room hotel that we will continue to return to…though I think the ‘destination fee’ is a nuisance.

This is my third stay and I’d previously rated it 5 stars. Great staff and location. However, this visit we were disappointed. I requested a balcony room facing the main street so that we could hopefully see the July 4th fireworks. Request granted. That was very nice. We were able to see partial fireworks!! But the balcony “curtains” were basically sheer, you could literally see through them, and the morning sun hit the room like a flood light so wake up call at sunrise. Very loud street noise at night trying to sleep. So I wouldn’t recommend balcony overlooking the main street next time. The complimentary snacks they used to have in the room were no more. They used to have really great chips, nuts, cookies in the service cart in the room and it was a lovely touch. Also the complimentary valet parking is no longer complimentary. The white bedspread had what appeared to have a blood stain on it and there were three throw rugs on the floor that slipped and one had a couple stains on it. The ice machine on our floor and the floor below us were not working. It just didn’t seem like the same classy hotel I remember from past stays and attention to detail wasn’t up to par. One thing I really would appreciate is luggage racks in the room to set your suitcases on. They suggest that you call the front desk to let them know when you need your car brought up, but both times I called, nobody picked up the phone even after several rings. Love the rooftop bar. It’s very convenient and great staff. But I’m not sure we will be back. We live locally so it’s an expensive staycation to not feel 100 percent satisfied.

We stayed at the Harmon Guest House for three nights during a recent trip to Sonoma to celebrate a milestone birthday for my partner. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. We loved the beautiful architecture and thoughtful design of both the property and the rooms, as well as the unbeatable central location in Healdsburg — it made exploring the area effortless. What truly made our stay memorable, though, was the outstanding team at the Harmon Guest House. Sheree, the property manager, was incredibly accommodating, and Edgar at the front desk was always welcoming and helpful. A special thank you to Charmaine, the amazing concierge, who went above and beyond to look after us. She addressed a few room concerns promptly and made fantastic recommendations for restaurants, bars, and wineries that elevated our entire trip. The hospitality here felt genuine and heartfelt, and we’re so grateful to the entire team for making our visit special. I highly recommend the Harmon Guest House — as well as the other H2 properties in Healdsburg — to anyone visiting the area.

Google
This hotel is very nice ! Upon entering the property you're met with lots of natural wood and a very modern vibe. The rooms are bright and uncluttered, with much storage space. Our room had both a mini fridge as well as a wine fridge! Two bathrooms, both with showers and the ensuite had a luxuriously deep stone tub! We visited the roof top restaurant and enjoyed the guacamole and chips with a nice selection of drinks!

Google
I booked HGH because of the location and proximity to the downtown square. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. Check in at the Harmon Guest house was a breeze, and they valet your car for you for $20 a night. Not cheap, but pretty standard for hotel parking these days I think. I booked the least expensive room and it came with a king size bed, window bench seat, seated balcony and Nespresso machine. I loved the modern look and feel of this hotel. It has a rooftop bar, that I am sorry to say, I did not visit. But the menu looked great! If you are travelling with your furry friend, the Harmon Guest house is also dog friendly. The staff was always friendly and greeted me warmly every time I popped back in from my daily adventures. Bonus > There are also 25 wine tasting rooms around the town square that you can easily walk to. Make tasting appointments in advance and plan on an hour and a half at each. Life saving > When I left for the airport at 4:30am, they already had the coffee setup in the lobby! Thank you!!

Ended up at Harmon House rooftop bar, a spot highly recommended by some locals with taste. As content creators, we were eager to check out this gem and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is chic and inviting, perfect for both casual hangouts and more formal gatherings. We were there on a Monday and Taylor's recommendation of the $1.00 oysters was a needed and delightful bonus. Don’t even get us started on service and drinks, made us want to frequent more often. The combination of excellent service, delicious drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Given our fantastic experience, we plan to return often and will be recommending this bar and its menu to all our friends, family, and colleagues who appreciate the H-Town vibe. The Harmon Guest House Rooftop Bar is a top spot on our list!

Google
The location is right off the Healdsburg Square, making walking to everything extra easy. They also have bikes on site to take out. The staff was kind and thoughtful. The room was clean, spacious, and had modern decor. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch as well. The hotel is dog-friendly, and my dog enjoyed the little sun porch off of the room. Because the hotel is part of the h2hotel, you’re able to use both pools and amenities. Both pools were small, private in nature, and clean. The rooftop restaurant/bar was great; there were decent views and the food was fresh and tasty. I’d def stay here again!

Google
I wholeheartedly agree with a previous reviewer; the rooms are WAY OVERPRICED for what you get!! (and that's on a weekday) While the service was very good, room design has been prioritized over function (nowhere to set our luggage, no privacy in the bathroom, noise from neighboring rooms) It looks way more plush and inviting on the website. A couple hundred less a night and Harmon House would be solid good.

Yelp
Rented a "Founder's Suite" with a bedroom and a hide-a-bed. Everything started great until we got back after dinner and tried to go to bed. In-laws stayed in the bedroom and we were staying on the hide-a-bed... but no bedding. Called to the front desk for bedding. Call got transferred to a different property. They transferred my call back to our hotel which instead hung up on me. Fine. Went down to the front desk to find a very sketchy host. He said he understood and headed off to find bedding. Not sure if he was coming back I stayed in the lobby. Find out from my wife he had gone up to the room and kind of just barged in without saying anything. Not ok. Bedding ends up being sheets, pillows (ok) and some cobbled together blankets that don't fit the bed. Tried to sleep on the bed but it is a 1970-80 style hide-a-bed with a super thin mattress and a metal bar going across that hyper-extends your back. I write this review now sleeping on the couch cushion on the floor because the hide-a-bed is unbearable. Also, cannot adjust the thermostat to make the room comfortable. Do NOT recommend staying here.

Yelp
Harmon Rooftop at Harmon Guest House is a fun spot for drinks and bites! Enter through the hotel lobby and take the elevator or stairs up a few flights to the roof. They don't take reservations so go early or go with a backup plan. Went with a few girlfriends and we enjoyed different versions of their spicy margarita. They were willing to customize, which was very much appreciated. We shared shishitos, tuna tartar, and the slider with fries. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced (cheaper than our last night out at The Montage!). I really like this spot!

Yelp
Amazing view!!! Great bites and cocktails was delicious. server forgot her name maybe ashley? Top notch service. will be back for sure!

Yelp
*This review is for the hotel's services and offerings, NOT the hotel itself* After seeing on their website (see picture) that I could book a private yoga session at their hotel, I jumped on it. That is where my trouble began. No one at the hotel knew much about it. Then, come to find out that the info on their website is old and hasn't been updated for years. The yoga instructor they have listed hasn't worked there since 2020. After going back and forth for days, I finally got ahold of the current yoga instructor and booked a private class. I was told by the hotel that there would be a room where we could hold the session. I confirmed with the guests and sent out a final itinerary. Then TODAY, (class is scheduled for tomorrow) I get a call from the hotel saying that I would have to pay a rental fee to use the room. The fee is $300! That is on top of what I already paid to the yoga instructor which was $250. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE and goes against what they advertise on their website! That being said, the concierge Charmaine was helpful and I know she tried to have the fee waived. I don't know who has the authority to waive the fee but SHAME ON YOU!

Yelp
Underrated 3 star hotel that is definitely punching above its weight. Sizable rooms, newly remodeled in very modern brutality architecture. Extremely new and clean. It's really great that they separate out the toilet from the sleeping areas. The sofa has a pull out bed for the kids. Our room was super quiet and the sliding doors were remarkably effective at blocking street noise. The walls here are thick and that's a plus. The AC is indeed confusing. The room was very hot when we arrived. We fiddled with it for a good while and ultimately discovered that adjusting down the temperature on the thermostat was insufficient. You have to also switch the mode from hot to cool.

Yelp
A delightful end to an even more extravagant, luxurious and family fun filled holiday season in Healdsburg. It will be missed you doing Browne in LA at our home forever in our hearts, are the shrimp, tostadas and unforgettable Bonnie sliders.

Yelp
Modern hotel in a central location BUT they don't let you lower the temperature below 68. They offer snacks and sparkling water on tap but so why not let guests choose the temperature of their room? We didn't sleep the first night. They said maintenance could possibly adjust it in the morning. But the next day the staff was unhelpful as the other reviews state. Brendon was outright rude. The second night we had to open the door which brought in light and noise. No hot tub. Pool is tiny and cold, but was not crowded. They offer free continental breakfast at their sister hotel where the staff was super nice. Their Rooftop restaurant was dead, and open 1-8 and 3-8 so weird hours. This same group is buying up alot of properties on the square. They own Hotel Healdsburg and H2H, Dry Creek Kitchen and a pizza spot. Concierge didn't answer my multiple calls, so I left a message. She got back to us call at the end of the day after we already made plans. Given the high cost, service should be better. Did love the hotel style and complimentary bikes!

Yelp
Having stayed at one of their Sister properties in San Luis Obispo, I was looking forward to my stay here, while in Healdsburg. Overall, the stay was very hit or miss. Location is great as it is in the middle of Healdsburg next to the center square. They have complimentary valet check-in, which was nice and offer turndown service where they give some chocolate that's a nice touch. The room was quite spacious and I liked that they had both an indoor and outdoor seating area. Like others have mentioned, there really isn't any privacy between the shower and the rest of the room so keep that in mind depending on who you will be staying with. Our room 437, didn't have a view, but was private and I much prefer it compared to some facing the inner courtyard as anyone walking in the hallways can see inside to the room. They did have a nespresso machine with some complimentary cookies and chips as well as a sparkling and still water station on each floor. Room also had a smart TV where you can access Netflix, etc. I LOVE their bathrobes and they are probably the softest that I've ever used. Layout of the hotel leaves a lot to desire. For example, they have directions to the pool on each floor, which is confusing since it's actually on the first floor. The walk to the pool is also not aesthetically pleasing as you pass by the water heaters that should be hidden. The pool is much smaller than in the photos and I wouldn't say it has a relaxing atmosphere. Pool was also not warm at all. No fitness center access. Complimentary breakfast is truly "continental" next door at H2H composed of some pastries, yogurt, granola, fruit and hard boiled eggs.

Yelp
I worked with this hotel to accommodate champagne, flowers, and various gifts for some guests. The staff are incredible, detail oriented, and are a genuine pleasure to work with. Our order requests are highly detailed and they were wonderful about communicating and ensuring our requests were fulfilled correctly. The staff are all exceedingly kind, professional, and accommodating!

Yelp
We stayed here for a couple of nights and the location is awesome.our room was lovely, too with a balcony overlooking the main street. We enjoyed how they gave complimentary high quality snacks as well as bottled regular and sparkling water in the room. There are also refill stations on each floor for the regular or sparkling water. They have a turndown service where they tidy up the room and give chocolate. The chocolates were lovely. Finally, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast included with our room. It was right next door at H2's Spoon Bar and we could enjoy the continental breakfast spread with fruit, pastries, granola, tea and coffee and each get an entree from the regular menu. Super fresh food. Highly recommend Harmon Guest House! It was a quiet couple of days so we didn't hear any loud music or anything during our stay.

Yelp
My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend here. Beautiful room with a private porch just down the hall was the rooftop bar. Staff was nice, easy casual ambiance. Great location in the center of town. Walking distance to restaurants and tasting rooms.

Yelp
So disappointed. Love Healdsburg, love to stay downtown even though expensive ~ usually stay at their sister property H2, was hoping for similar experience. Should have read Yelp reviews as they are similar to our experience. Issues everyday, did get a reduction for 2 of the 3 days, but still paid over $900 a night for a suite (!) room was sparse, dated, amenities advertised were not provided without asking for more then 3x. I'm not much of a complainer, am very aware of employee shortages/etc in this day and age, happy things are open again. They shouldn't charge the prices for lack of service and for really uncomfortable situations caused by employee (like we experienced)

Yelp
We enjoyed a wonderful evening at the rooftop bar. The space is lovely and modern and WARM! (Lots of well-positioned heaters made it easy to linger despite a chilly night) The staff are very hospitable and efficient. The food and drinks are well prepared and delicious, especially the tomato soup, ceviche, and warm Dungeness crab roll. The selection satisfied everyone. We hope to return soon!

Yelp
I think if this were priced lower I'd have a higher score, but as it is, it fell short of expectations for being in the price range it is. I know Healdsburg is expensive, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't deliver when you charge those rates. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but there were too many quirks. The room layout had me baffled. Glass shower in full view between the front door and the main room. So you're walking around naked, which is fine if you're an intimate couple, but awkward if you're just staying with a friend, or your kids, etc. Also, if you're an early riser and want to get ready you need to turn lights on which disturb someone that wants to sleep in. The interior balconies all face each other, which makes having a private conversation impossible. The continental breakfast is actually down the block at their sister hotel. Nobody checks your room keys or ID or anything, so I'd imagine you could eat for free every day if you're a hobo, so they've got that going for them.

Anne J.

Yelp
my friend and I liked the room, however, we were unable to go to sleep three nights out of our four nights there. The noise from above sounded like a herd of elephants. We complained, were told they had other complaints, and for a while the noise abated and then restarted at 1am. There were eight young women in two rooms above us for two nights and the floors are mostly wood with a few scatter throw rugs. The hotel did offer to move us at midnight, however, we are two very elderly women and the thought of having to get up and pack in the middle of the night was too much for us, We were informed the women were leaving and it would be fine on the fourth night, it was not, we were woken up again by stamping above. We spoke to the manager and the response was startling. "THE HOTEL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BEHAVIOR OF OUR GUESTS " one would have thought they would be responsible to see that the majority of guests who had paid to sleep there were able to do so..Anne A

Yelp
My kryptonite: rooftop bars and restaurants. Something about growing up in the Big Apple that gets me drawn to such high places. Whether it's the view, the ambience, the sheer exclusivity of it, I've had my fair share of great moments in rooftops. So, imagine my heart's delight when a Yelp friend brought us out for an after-party gathering to Harmon Guest House, a boutique hotel, for some food and drinks. Walking into the modern, chic restaurant situated above the hotel instantly made me feel as if I'd been transported back East. Opting to sit outside on a balmy January evening, the clear skies and cool breeze was simply divine. And as if mother nature wanted to put on a show for the evening, the moon rose in all its majestic glory over the mountains down yonder. What a view indeed! Our group enjoyed the setting, accentuated by the warm glow of the fire pit, as we dined on delicious--and reasonably priced--dishes. I opted for the fish and chips, which arrived in all it's glory with fries, pickles, and salad. The batter was just the perfect amount, the fish and French fries done right, and the pickles and salad rounded it out with some much-needed acidity. I couldn't have been any more pleased. If anything, a visit to Harmon Guest House's restaurant is enough to draw people in, but I suspect that the hotel might be the reason they stay.

Yelp
This review is for the hotel only. What a cool and modern space I am at tonight. First I want to shout out to Lydia who was concierge extraordinaire !!! She has so many great suggestions for food and wine! The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful. The sheets were like butter! The soaps and lotions were delicious! Ice, and water, both still and bubs in the hall. Attached patio, black out electric curtains, adorable little moleskin notebook to keep, large shower with a rain shower or hand held shower, lots of puffy pillows! What a great room!

Yelp
We recently spent another amazing weekend in Healdsburg and stayed at our favorite place, Harmon Guest House. The weekend we were planning on going was completely booked, so one of the amazing team members at the hotel, Mason, got us booked at their sister property, H2. A week before our trip, a room opened up at Harmon Guest House, and Mason was able to move us. The service and care that Mason and the staff showed us was top-notch as they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. If you're ever in Healdsburg and need a place to stay, look no further than Harmon Guest House.

Yelp
This was our 2nd time staying here and we absolutely love this hotel. It's smaller and newer than their sister hotel h2h (located next door) and has a more boutique-Sonoma charm. The rooms are spacious, modern, and CLEAN. Yea, the hotel itself is great but what really deserves the review is the front desk staff, Darwin and Marcus. They always had a smile on their face, were incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you for your hospitality :)

Yelp
This cute boutique hotel has not been opened all that long. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice amenities, dog friendly, and a wonderful breakfast buffet greeted us in the morning. Can't wait to go back, and check out Healdsburg and all that is has to offer again in the near future.

D J.

Yelp
Amazing hotel, beautiful rooms and views, and the restaurant and bar have amazing food. Don't miss the cocktails either, it's wine country, but their bartenders are just amazing!

Carly S.

Yelp
A huge disappointment. We really enjoyed coming to Harmon for a night away. Unfortunately we had our brand new car damaged by their valet. We brought the problem to their attention and instead of apologizing and handling it in a professional way they didn't address it at all. I was extremely patient, I even choose not to drive the car so there would no confusion. They would tell me I would be contacted by a manager, then HR and I never was. Multiple times, after multiple emails and phone calls and I was never contacted or even apologized to! It might not feel like a huge deal to some but this was my first brand new car. Weeks after getting it to have someone else crunch the rims I paid a lot for, and took really good care of, was a huge disappointment.

Yelp
Fab happy hour! And best outdoor rooftop deck around for miles, located on hotel's 4th floor. Kind, attentive service from the wait staff and happy hour bites include $1.50 freshly shucked oysters and a nice menu of other delights affordably priced at $10 or less: truffle fries, ceviche tostadas and more. $7 Drinks are great too! Great place. Will return.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant and fantastic roof top bar! The food was delicious and cocktails were great! It was an amazing view to see this cute little downtown NorCal city!

Yelp
Great hotel in a perfect location. Breakfast is huge with a lot of options. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We booked this place hoping to relax. We were disappointed: the pool is extremely small, located right next to the garage, with no sun light. Our room was facing a busy street (other rooms face the courtyard). We managed to get a table on the rooftop, after over an hour of waiting. Everything was overpriced. If you're looking for solitude, stay somewhere else.

Jonathan H.

Yelp
I just stayed here last weekend and it was an incredible experience. The service was incredible, the hotel room itself was fantastic and pristine. The check in process and the turn down process was easy and responsible, and I have nothing but positive things to say. The complimentary breakfast offered was delicious and they even have espresso downstairs which they offered us in the mornings on the way out. The next time I find myself in Healdsburg - 100% I will be staying here again.

Jennifer d.

Yelp
Rooms were very modern and nice. Staff was friendly. Complimentary champagne was in our room for our anniversary (nice touch). When we arrived we went to the balcony and it was filthy with an eaten corn on the cob on it. My husband found a cleaning lady in the hall who apologized and cleaned the balcony. Bed was super soft. I thought room was over the square but it's over a very busy and loud road with a parking lot across the street. The noise from the cars kept me up most of the night. I think they should leave earplugs on the nightstands for rooms over the road. I wish I had chosen an interior room over the garden. For $500/night I will look to stay somewhere else next time I'm in Healdsburg.

Scot G.

Yelp
My wife and I just stayed there for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary and wanted to pass along feedback from our stay: 1) The staff were friendly and great the entire time. 2) The hotel is beautifully designed and in a great location near the square. 3) We didn't sleep AT ALL the first night we were there. For one, we had a 1st level room facing the street and there was a TON of road noise coming through (this hotel doesn't have much sound insulation from outside). Additionally, the bed in the first room was incredibly soft and not supportive at all. We complained the next morning and luckily were switched into an internally-facing room that had a better bed and quieter evenings (after the rooftop bar closed). Still losing a night of sleep for $600 a night will never cut it in my book. 4) The hotel advertises free breakfast + there's quite a bit of dated literature about it, even in the current rooms that had us expecting something more substantial. The coffee was consistently weak and luke warm and the included "continental" was so sparse that it didn't even compare to the Best Western down the road (which at less than half the price includes juice, bread/toast/bagels/cream cheese, better fruit, etc.). The continental here ONLY had sweet pastries and coffee. No juice included. The regular menu had decent food at least, but we ended up feeling cheated each and every morning based on the expectations set and overall cost. 5) Their 'heated' pool was quite chilly and not comfy. 6) At checkout we passed along all of the above feedback to the front desk attendant in the hopes of some consideration. He offered no apologies, no accommodations and just settled our bill in full. While we'll definitely be returning to Healdsburg, we won't be returning to this hotel.

Daphna T.

Yelp
We stayed here the weekend of our wedding in Healdsburg. Of course getting married is stressful in and of itself, but the Harmon Guest House made it even MORE stressful than it should have been. A valet hit my now-husband's car. The General Manager AND the valet both admitted fault, and took my husband's information to pay for the damage. Fast-forward 3 months - and of course they are admitting "no fault." We spent $1600 on the hotel room, and now have to pay $1500 on top of that to repair our car. The management at this hotel needs to stop scamming their customers. We'll never stay here again after our experience dealing with the Harmon Guest House staff.

Jeankaylyn E.

Yelp
I love how they have complimentary valet because street parking is only 3 hours. As soon as we walked out of the elevator, we already liked how the hallways looked. Really wide hallways, and lots of windows with bamboos growing in the outside. Makes you feel like your somewhere else than Healdsburg. Going into our room was super GORGEOUS!!! My boyfriend and I were in awe. The bed felt like we were sleeping in heaven and it was so hard to get out of bed. Make sure you guys book your room with complimentary breakfast because that was also amazing! You'll have to walk down to Spoonbar which is next door, and they have a menu for you to choose from. We wanted to stay another night but I had to go to work the next day. Check out time is at 12pm which is nice from a night of drinking, you obviously need the time to recover. They were also nice enough to leave our car in their garage while we roam around Healdsburg until we leave. This place is great place to stay in because it's walking distance to every restaurant, boutique, or grocery store you need to go to. They also have complimentary bikes that you can use as well. I just wish I had cash to leave everyone tip because the staff were amazing. NOTE TO SELF & ANYONE READING THIS: make sure to bring cash to leave tip if you love good service because this place will definitely give you the best stay that you ever had. I definitely recommend staying here again.

Amazing ambiance and service at the Rooftop Bar! Danny, our server, was so accommodating and kind...I will definitely be a repeat patron! Thank you Danny!! Your drink recommendation was on point! Lap blankets provided was the little added comfort that made the evening! . Perfect for a group outing! Make this a stop during the holiday season! Great shopping in Healdsburg! I'm looking forward to trying new and fun cocktails next visit! Private parties available and would be a unique way to celebrate any occasion.

Yelp
A beautiful view in any season, excellent cocktails, and always an interesting view. Cocktails are refreshing and change, staff always attentive. This beautiful venue makes visitors and residents alike stab"there's no place like Healdsburg"

Yelp
Great rooms and lots of little extras like a WONDERFUL free breakfast at Spoonbar make this place special. Top notch staff that jumps into action anytime you need something.

Yelp
One of the worst hotel experiences I have had in my travels. This hotel has a chic vibe and gorgeous roof top bar, but the rooms are very noisy and the manager disinterested. My girlfriend and I stayed here over a weekend on the third floor, and could not get any sleep because of the noise from the rooftop restaurant and the footsteps on hardwood floors from rooms above. We called the front desk at 2 AM, 4 AM, and again at 6 AM to ask if there was something they could do. The response we were given is that the manager was off and would call us in the morning. We saw him on our way out and he promised to call us with some sort of credit. He never called us back, when I contacted him one week later he told me that he thought he had told me there was nothing he could do because we booked the room through Expedia, but to just give him a call next time we were in town and there would be some thing he could do to give us a discount on a future room . Why would we do that? We should have read all these negative reviews before booking this hotel. It's also notable that negative reviews have no response from the hotel manager

Yelp
I'm so sorry, I really wanted to love this rooftop bar. However, I was willing to just like this rooftop bar. I tried, on two separate occasions, to like it. Not happening. This local says: don't go. Don't. Healdsburg has so many great places. Whether you are after wine or spirits, busy or quiet, gourmet food or bar snacks, there is a place in town that is a custom fit for you. This place is a custom fit for no one. The food drinks and service are bizarrely bad, you walk in and it feels like the place is going to have an "it" vibe. Once you are seated, the illusion that this place is cool, good, capable, worthy, and not a mistake goes poof. Dear management: maybe the goal is just to appeal to your guests whom are likely to try their "in the hotel" bar once. If so, change nothing. But if you want regular and repeat patronage from the rest of us, please. You will need: good drinks good service good food. You have precisely none of those. There's a pony here somewhere, I can't find it. No one in the place even looks happy. Please look around and take your lumps. Your rooftop bar is a sub par disaster.

Yelp
Very cool place, but food was just ok. The shrimp and grits were not that good, shrimp was very fishy tasting. But the prawn cocktail was very good. Didn't like that the olives were warm but they were good olives. The worst part was the service! We were never greeted and finally after 15 minutes had to ask for a server. It took forever and the waiter never checked on us or came back to see if we wanted anything else.

Yelp
This place used to be really good! Don't know what happened but the food has gone downhill fast. The Caesar salad is half the size it was 3 months ago and not even dressed, hardly any dressing. The fish tacos were so salty and the bar drinks have gone downhill as well. What happened???? This used to be a great place for locals.

Yelp
Inspiring architecture-thoughtfully designed rooms-rooftop bar a hit with delicious small food choices and creative cocktails and a view as well.

Yelp
We hosted a two-day work offsite at the Harmon Guest House (HGH) for 20 people. I highly recommend any company/organization considering an offsite in Healdsburg/wine country to check it out. The meeting room is on the 4th floor next to the rooftop bar/outdoor seating area, where our group ate a scrumptious catered lunch each day. All the attendees loved the venue (modern rooms, amazingly comfortable beds, valet parking, steps from numerous restaurants, shops and wine tasting rooms, etc.) and have mentioned they will be heading back on their own for some spa time and R&R. Catering Director Lindsay Rudell made exceptional recommendations for all meals, including our team dinner at Spoonbar in the private Green Room. We started with a happy hour in the garden that included yummy specialty drinks, followed by a family style dinner with a variety of top-notch dishes. The HGH Director of Sales Jason Farmer was a delight to work with when planning our team meeting and went above and beyond to meet all our requirements for a successful, productive event.

Yelp
Heard about the Harmon House Rooftop bar from friends, and as a local always like to support new endeavors in our community, of which there are many. Restaurants come and go regularly. The uniqueness of a rooftop bar was a new novelty to our community, even though it's just a non-dizzying height of 4 floors up. Unfortunately, I found this to be just another hugely overpriced snooty Healdsburg "flavor-of-the-month" watering hole. We arrived and were seated at the out-lying counter, in the sun. The counter had not been wiped off from the previous guests and a used plate of food greeted us. The person seating us didn't even look at our environment. We pushed the dirty dish down the bar and wiped off the counter ourselves. We then sat for 25 minutes waiting for a waiter. No one came, so we flagged down the person who seated us and asked if she could find someone. The waited showed up a couple minutes later. I ordered the oysters with mignonette. The oysters were good but the mignonette was just vinegar. Straight vinegar with oysters was a shame. The best mignonette I've ever had was at John Ash. Maybe the chef should take a road trip. We've had enough and want to leave, again, no one to help and wait another 30 minutes with no water...no one. Finally I held my credit card in the air and got someone to notice. We're obviously not coming back. Too bad.... Next...
