Me and my boyfriend have been wanting to try Harmony out and tonight we did just that! The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was quaint and cozy. They put a lot of effort into make the food delicious and as meat eaters, we were highly impressed! We can’t wait to try more of the menu! 10/10! 😋

Pretty blown away by the food here. There’s a huge menu with a large variety from which to choose. I did have some concerns about what was vegan vs vegetarian (because the name is Harmony Vegetarian), but the lady said everything is vegan. I then saw a print out of the ingredients for their desserts, so I’m assuming they get questioned a LOT. After a good 15 minutes or so, I finally narrowed down my order. CURRY POCKETS I was expecting curry puffs, a popular Thai snack that I love. This wasn’t that and I believe that’s why I was disappointed. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t what I wanted or expected, and it lacked any standout qualities. Would not order again. SCALLION PANCAKES Perfect; crispy and savory FRIED CRUNCHY CHICKEN WITH PEPPER SALT A small appetizer portion was perfect for me. They were tasty little bite sized pieces, peppered with tiny little jalapeño bits. FRIED SHRIMP You get 6 huge pieces of shrimp! They were delicious. I just needed a legit tartar sauce to accompany them. STRING BEAN SZECHUAN STYLE Quite delicious. I froze these for 2 weeks, and when I got back to STL, thawed and cooked them, they were even better than before! The flavors really set in! BASIL FRIED RICE Good but missing something. Maybe garlic? I also froze this dish and it too was better after the seasonings marinated in. I did add some of their chili crisp, and let me tell you: this ain’t no American chili crisp. It is authentic and full of spice! Pour with caution and control! STIR-FRY NOODLE SINGAPORE STYLE It’s fairly good, but I’ve had better. (Veggie Village in Phoenix, AZ has the best Singapore Noodles in the USA.) GENERAL TSO CHICKEN A nice portioned entree served with broccoli. Crunchy chicken coated in a tangy-sweet sauce. This is Chef Kenny level vegan Asian cuisine. 10/10 would order again! CHINESE DONUTS Look - This is the kind of treat that makes vegans like me return and ask, “Are you sure these are vegan??” Because these taste EXACTLY like the non vegan ones I used to eat decades ago. Like, were the OG Chinese donuts accidentally vegan? If not, why not? It taste exactly the same!! I’m questioning my existence at this point! No, but seriously, I was so obsessed with these donuts that I ate half of them in one sitting, in disbelief of eat bite. Even though I didn’t like some dishes, I absolutely loved everything else. Large portions. Fair prices. Lots of space inside to dine in. Restrooms were clean. Employee was patient and helpful. They’re located in a shopping strip mall complex that houses a multitude of other local Asian-owned businesses, so there’s plenty of parking. I’m not familiar with the ATL area, but I think this is about 20 minutes or so from central Atlanta. They’re open for the holidays (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, and New Year’s Day), so be sure to support them and enjoy some of the best vegan food in the A.

Google
This place has the best authentic vegetarian food. Came across restaurant non Tik Tok. About a week ago. It’s only 10 mins from my house. I’ve been a pescatarian for over four years. Since finding restaurant about a week ago I’ve eaten four times! You will not be disappointed . Fresh food every time. Would give 10 stars if I could. My favorite food there so far is sesame chicken,General Tso, Orange chicken and some pepper chicken!

Google
The food was flavorful and had fresh veggies. The sauces were not overpowering. Contactless ordering. The containers were Eco friendly and we eat in paper plates and paper napkins and disposable paper cups for water. It is not fine dining. But wholesome food. Great place for vegans or vegetarians.

The vegetarian food here is top-notch, with generous portions and speedy service. I've been a patron of this restaurant for years, and they consistently deliver. Whether it's the delicious General Tso chicken or one of their other enticing dishes, I'm always impressed with the quality. Plus, parking in the plaza is always convenient.

Always a pleasure eating from Harmony! Strayed from my usual salt and pepper chickn and got the spicy cabbage and eggplant entrees. I was not disappointed at all. My partner got her usual orange chicken and I obviously had to sample it. Crispy, sweet and highly flavorful. Spring rolls were also great as expected. Thank you for years of delicious food!

Google
I'll keep this review short and sweet... Local Chinese vegetarian spot serving typical entrees. Standard clean atmosphere and good service. Prices are comparable to other Chinese establishments. Only thing I didn't like was my 1st dish out was super salty. Fortunately, staff did allow me to order a new one which was a lot better.

First time here 9/11/20. The old lady that greeted me was pleasant. I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special and the shrimp and vegetables lunch special. I didn't care for the shrimp but that Mongolian beef was everything. The spring rolls are good as well. They're only doing take outs for now. Mask is required inside. I didn't wait long for my food. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Yelp
I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here. I ordered the hunan lamb and my friend got the Szechuan chicken with a side of egg rolls. I personally would recommend the lamb just because they use mushroom as the meat substitute and for some of the dishes they use flour as a the meat substitute. The spices were on point and everything tasted fresh. It is clean in the restaurant, but it supposed to give a quick "in and out" eating situation so everything is served on plastic and paper bowls.

Yelp
One of the best Chinese vegetarian- authentic and yummy as things Ive had in Asia! I love the vegetarian imitation seafoods!! Those are hard to find and make!

Yelp
I enjoyed my first eating experience at Harmony. It's a super casual environment and wasn't busy on a Thursday evening. We ordered the sesame "chicken", "beef" and broccoli, and vegetable lo mein. The price for food was very reasonable ( we spent about $33 for two people). We didn't wait long for the food to be served. Highlights: vegetable lo mein and sesame chicken was spot on with flavor/texture. The "beef" in the beef and broccoli dish has more of an egg-like texture rather than beef and it wasn't my favorite. Overall, I truly enjoyed the food and will definitely order again.

Yelp
Amazing place the food is so amazing!!! Every time we come to Georgia we come here, and the staff here are very nice, and bring your food, very quick! Overall it's an amazing experience.

Yelp
All of our dishes were delicious! We got the sesame chicken, pepper beef, and vegetarian fish. Service was quick and staff were friendly. The restaurant was also decorated nicely for LNY. Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Vegetarian Chinese heaven delivered straight to your door, Harmony is my new obsession. I find myself craving basic NYC-style Chinese quite often and have struggled finding good vegetarian options. Look no more, because Harmony has it all. I had basically given up on finding good vegetarian Chinese soups, but this spot's huge portion of delicious wonton filled that void. Their sesame tofu, salt and pepper tofu, and Szechuan string beans are to die for, but their curry vegetables really take the cake for me. A perfect and accessible delivery option, Harmony is now on the top of my go-to list.

Yelp
Fresh Chinese food with general Tso hitting the mark and somehow this food tastes homemade.

Yelp
We ordered the food at home, the presentation of the food was good. We got Fried Tofu Skin Seaweed Rolls - it was ok, very oily and tasteless Chicken with curry sauce- where is the chicken? The only thing I see is potatoes and some other veggie. Szechuan beef - this was good in taste but again very less meat. Overall okay taste.

Yelp

Yelp
Mom and pop. My favorite kind of place. Some people have princess dinners at the fancy steak place, my favorite dinners are here. No frills, it's all about the food. The ambience is solid, it's quiet and has all the basics. We ordered the dumplings, string beans, Hunan lamb, and chicken with mixed Vegetables. The dumplings were nice and warm though small and a bit disappointing. Though can't say I've had any dumplings that have been good in ATL. Let's talk about the main courses: the string beans are classic and can do no wrong, the lamb and chicken had interesting meat substitutes. Regardless of what meat word you use the food is all vegetarian. Then we start talking about value. I think that's where it gets a bit tricky as the prices are like you have meat, though the dishes do not. I appreciate supporting a mom/pop business, though I think there are some areas for improvement, specifically feeling like it's the best value. Though definitely worth it to check out at least once.

Yelp
Great food! Love that it's all vegetarian and I don't have to pick from a limited menu. They have all Chinese dishes. Their poultry imitation fishes are nice and crispy with great sauces. All entrees come with white or brown rice. Their soups are amazing too. It's inside a strip mall and can't be seen from traffic. It has indoor seating. They offer dine in, take out and delivery through door dash/grub hub and Uber eats. They're closed Sun and Mon. There is ample of free parking in the plaza. Highly recommend for Chinese cuisine lovers and vegetarians. Kudos to staff and chef!

Yelp
This place really missed the mark. So i came here for lunch today and left extremely disappointed. I order the curry pies, fried chicken wings, general tso chicken chicken, and sesame chicken. The curry pies were great (reason for the 2 stars) everything else, no good. The wings came with some sauce that was salty. No favor to the wings. Ive had wings just like that from other places and they were great but i dont know that happen here. The general tso and sesame chicken had no meat inside. Just breading. And not like it was one or two pieces, literally every piece. From big pieces to small pieces. I was soooo disappointed. Smh. It was literally fried breading. Smh. I wont be back. I wanted to like this place but no :(

Yelp
This was my first time coming to Harmony Vegetarian. On the inside it looks like any typical Chinese takeout place. They offer seating and restrooms. We "dined in." We got two entrees to share: General Tso's Chicken ($12.50) and Mongolian Beef ($13.50). Both came with rice. We also got an order of the Steamed Shanghai Dumplings ($6.95). The star of the show was definitely the General Tso. It had such a satisfying crunch and the sauce was perfectly balances with sweet and tangy flavors. The Mongolian Beef was also very good but the texture of the General Tso was much better. The dumplings were a major disappointment. Just all a mushy mess with no real flavor. I would definitely return to try other entrees!

Cailey A.

Yelp
The garlic eggplant is the best I've ever had. This is my go-to dish wherever I go so I've tried a ton of them and this blew all the others out of the water. Incredible sauce, the eggplant texture was perfection and lots of thin sliced onions and green onions were the cherry on top. The braised tofu was also really good with fresh, perfectly cooked veggies and a yummy sauce. One of those meals that's so good that all you can say while you're eating it is how good it is over and over again. Amazing portion size especially for the price! My partner and I were starving, got 2 entrees to share and left absolutely stuffed and with almost half of each as leftovers. The cheapest really great meal I've had in years. Overall this place is a 10/10 on food, price, portions and service!

Yelp
This place on Buford Highway is a hidden gem. Tucked in a small complex, It's a small store but quite spacious inside. We went here at 8:30 PM on a Friday night. it's quite difficult to find Chinese food that can offer imitation meat or vegan options for very common dishes. This place is amazing. We ordered the fried tofu with seaweed which was quite tasty but not sure if I would order it again. Perhaps opting for dumplings or something else a bit more flavorful. I ordered the sesame tofu which was very saucy and well seasoned. Each dish came with a bowl of rice. The sesame tofu also came with some broccoli. My boyfriend ordered the kung pao chicken. This dish was definitely spicier than the others and quite delicious. There were whole peanuts on the top so keep this in mind if you have an allergy or sharing with someone who has an allergy. The interesting thing about this dish was that the chicken was quite shredded and all of the vegetables were chopped up smaller than I would have imagined (no whole vegetables). Now onto the orange chicken. This was definitely sweet and the chicken was quite crispy. It also came with broccoli. Since we were one of the only people in the restaurant there were no wait times and food was delivered quite quickly. Service was great. Parking is an abundance and the price is quite well determine for the portion sizes and taste. I would recommend this place for anyone craving good Chinese food that is vegetarian or vegan.

Yelp
I'm not vegan, but I enjoy the food when it's flavorful. We had shrimp fried rice, curry chicken fried rice, spring rolls and the calamari. The appetizers did not disappoint at all. Both were crispy and tasted great. The calamari tested more like a chicken ring, but it was really good. The dipping sauce for it was wonderful too! The rice dishes were full of flavor but the shrimp dish tasted old. We did come at the end of the day so that may have played a factor. Bottom line, I would come again to try another dish. Flavorful vegan food, clean atmosphere, and lots of selections to choose from. I also like that they stay open later than other restaurants in the area.

Yelp
my friend and i work in the plaza and have gone here 3x in the last month! so far we've had no bad food, except the dumplings which were just okay things to definitely try: - curry pockets - mongolian beef - hunan lamb (if you like a lil spice) we've also had the singapore style noodles, which were yummy. the portion sizes are pretty big and cheap! a must visit

Yelp
Harmony is hands down one of our favorite places to pick up dinner. I can appreciate the friendly service and the many options the menu offers. I have tried many of the dishes on the menu but our favorites are the Mongolian beef, the spring rolls, fried shrimp, and mixed veggies! We usually order ahead and eat at home but the restaurant itself is very welcoming! If you are looking for great vegetarian Chinese food, Harmony is your place!

Yelp
Whenever we are looking for a clutch Chinese food that is 100% vegan this is the place that we visit. For some people they think veganism consist of eating a bunch of salads, hugging trees, walking barefoot, wearing hipster clothing, etc. We are so unlike that. This is a really good option in north east Atlanta for folks that want to eat classic Chinese food that is 100% plant-based. The inside is very unassuming and very much café style. The servers are all very attentive and they have ALOT Of items on the menu. We recommend you try one of the appetizers if it's your first time there all of them are good. I normally get the vegan sweet-and-sour or sesame chicken which I believe is made from soy products. It's entrée item comes with a bowl of rice and they do offer vegan soy sauce. One of the things I love about this place which is why it gets five stars is because they give you huge portions of food and the cost is not bad at all especially for a vegan spot where some restaurants overcharge for vegan food

Redell B.

Yelp
This is always my first stop when I'm visiting Atlanta love the food! Just to let everyone know I'm not vegetarian.

Yelp
The food is GREAT! I'm from NYC and it tastes just like what it does back home. The only problem I have with them is the small 3 wings for $6.50. They're really small to be paying 6.50 for just 3 prices but they're very very good! Also I don't like the chicken they use for the szechuan or the chicken fried rice- it looks and feels like mushrooms to me. Aside from that I'm obsessed with the wings (not the size and cost), Chinese donuts and sesame chicken! I'll definitely be going back for some more food, totally worth the drive!

Yelp
I have actually been eating here for a couple years now and I can't remember why I have never left a review. The Harmony staff has become family to ours. It's been a pleasure supporting them over the years. The perfect vegan cuisine to fulfill my Chinese food cravings. Some of my absolute favorites on the menu are the General Tao's And Sesame chicken dishes, nearly all of the appetizers (especially the steamed dumplings and spring rolls) and their vegetable fried rice. It can be difficult to find consistency in the vegan world in Atlanta, but Harmony never disappoints! Since Covid, Harmony has closed indoor dining (not sure if this has recently changed), so we get it for carry-out! The service is always superb and it's warming to call and before stating who it even is, they address me by first name and ask how my family and I are doing. If you are in the Chamblee area, it is a MUST you pay this gem a visit
google avatar

Maddy D.

Yelp
Always and forever the sesame "chicken," and I say that as a carnivore. Literally everything on the menu is meatless, but it's understandable to feel deceived. A true Atlanta staple for veggie/meat couples. - generous portions - consistent quality, especially for takeout - tons to try - strongly recommend sesame chicken, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef

Yelp
A vegan/vegetarian Chinese restaurant? Is this for real? That is exactly what you'll ask yourself when you walk in and stare at the menu. My sister and cousin invited me for lunch here yesterday. I've decided to change up my diet and go more plant based this year (2 months strong now of no red meat, and only chicken and fish), so this seemed like a great idea. It sits in a shopping center off Buford Hwy, and plenty of parking (although fairly packed). I realize there are tons of shopping centers off Buford Hwy, so this one is in Orient Shopping Plaza. Not sure why they call it shopping, bc 90% of the businesses on Buford Hwy are places to eat tons of different Asian cuisine. It's a one room restaurant with about 20 tables. There is no atmosphere here ... period. You'll notice on the menu typical entrees you'll find at a Chinese restaurant. Keep in mind that if it says chicken or beef or shrimp or seafood, it is vegan and not actually meat. I was a little confused on how they would pull this off. I ordered wonton soup and Mongolian Beef (Lord, I just wanted to have that taste of beef without eating it). My sister got dumplings for the table (Fried and steamed). I had a steamed dumpling with sauce on it. It was close to taste of an actual dumpling. The wonton soup I didn't like at all. My Mongolian Beef was ehhh. The taste wasn't there and it had an odd taste ... I tried explaining it and just couldn't. Like a mix of earthy and animal farm. Manured soil maybe? The fake beef didn't taste at all like the beef you'd get. In fact, I'd give it a 1 star. However, my sister's spicy hunan chicken was amazing and actually tasted a little bit like the beef you'd have in Mongolian Beef. I also had some of my niece's sweet and sour chicken, which was pretty on par with taste of the actual dish. I was not much a fan of the brown rice I ordered with it (tasted more like quinoa). My son ate his vegetable fried rice and liked it. That was a win. Our service was great and the pricing was too bad at all for the amount of food we got. I'd certainly recommend the hunan chicken and sweet/sour chicken. I love that this place is here, and might try it again as I adjust more to my new diet. Certainly perfect for vegans!

Yelp
In an Asian enclave of Atlanta's suburbs lies this Buddhist restaurant, which offers cheap, all-vegetarian Chinese cuisine. Their lunch special included a choice of soup, spring rolls or curry puffs, and a small entree, for which I chose braised tofu. Braising is generally delicious. There were only a couple of wontons in the wonton soup, and I was a bit peeved in picking broccoli out of my tofu dish, but the curry puff, soup, and tofu were all tasty, if simple, and I can certainly not complain given that the price was sufficiently low that I would have struggled to cook the same dish at home for less. They offer a variety of fake meat type dishes, as well as a fairly philosophical explanation of why they do so, which is interesting.

Yelp
Used to love this place when I lived in Atlanta. It was a vegan staple for me. Hadn't been since 2019. Ordered the sesame chicken, it was extra chewy and unpleasant. The curry pockets were still good tho. Disappointed, but will possibly still visit again in the future.

Yelp
Wowowowow! I've been craving dumplings and vegan Chinese food and found this restaurant in an article on best places for dumplings in Atlanta. I was confused by the menu at first because it says "chicken" etc but everything is meat free. The dumplings were the best I've had in a looooooooong time. I ordered the fried chicken and rice and that was amazing as well. Can't wait to come back and order more. So happy this place exists! Chicken Fried Rice

Yelp
Made a special stop during my road trip, put my faith in my fellow Yelpers, went in optimistic. Alas, this food was mediocre and not better than what I can whip up in my own vegan kitchen at home. Ordered Singapore [rice] noodles, coconut shrimp w broccoli, steamed Shanghai dumplings, and fried eggplant. Came to over $40. Although I was ravenously hungry for vegan Chinese food when I stopped here, my dissatisfaction levels were such I felt I could have done better vegenaising an order at any hole in the wall Chinese takeout place. Everything was bland, and I'm no spice fiend. The broccoli was crunchy. The eggplant fritters were so unimpressive I couldn't force myself to finish them. Come on Atlanta, you can offer better to your vegan friends!
google avatar

Yelp
Soooooooooooo good!! Service: was quick and very responsive Atmosphere: pleasant. It's not a huge place. No TVs or anything so that limits distractions. Food: It was my first time trying steamed buns and honestly they were pretty good. Filling. The flavor was kinda one note though. The general Tsos chicken though...... everything was spot on. The texture, the flavor, that sauce!!!!! I've missed Chinese food since giving up meat and dairy and this did not disappoint at all. Pricing: GREAT for the portions and the quality. Will be back for sure to try more things!

Yelp
You can find Harmony Vegetarian Restaurant at 4897 Buford Hwy Ste 109, Atlanta, GA 30341 in a shopping center just south of the crux of Buford Highway and Chamblee Tucker Rd, Southeastern quadrant. This shopping center is anchored by the venerable Hoa Binh Supermarket that contains a handful of restaurants worth trying, including Pho Bac, Penang and J's Mini Hot Pot. There's quite a bit of available parking, but these restaurants (and the market) do get quite busy so you may have to walk a bit. Harmony is a vegan Chinese restaurant that features flavors that are a bit more authentic than you typical swag Amer-Chinese Panda Express - what makes it interesting is that most of the dishes are made using flavored tofu with beef, chicken and fish options. The food here is pretty good and offers up an alternative to eating meat-filled dishes so you don't feel so bad bringing your vegan friends and finding out there's not much on the menu they can eat. At Harmony it's all at least vegetarian and mostly vegan. As for why your vegan friends would want dishes that taste like meat, that's more a question around why they are vegan. For instance, I have many friends that are culturally vegetarian where meat just isn't part of their diet - these meat-flavored tofu dishes for the most part just don't taste good to them. I always find it interesting when I come here with American vegans who just rave about the flavors and wolf down Harmony's dishes - seems a bit hypocritical, but who am I to judge? Eat what you like, I say. On this occasion I showed up with friends from my weekly Buford Highway Crawl group - quite a few who don't normally attend showed up (several vegans in the group) so this was a treat for them. Some of the dishes we tried: * Curry Pockets - these are fried dumplings that approximate samosas * Steamed Shanghai Dumplings - these are a veggie version of a soup dumpling * Beef with Broccoli - we ordered this spiced up which helped a lot * Sliced Pork Szechuan Style - the flavors were good but the texture didn't quite make it for me. * Ma Po Tofu - I ordered this dish extra spicy - it was hot but not super hot. I liked it quite a bit. * Beef with Mixed Veggies - this was one of my favorite dishes and approximated beef the most * Sesame Chicken - others liked this quite a bit but I thought it too sweet. Service is very good here - it's obvious the restaurant has been open a long time and the owners really care about the dining experience. Everyone for the most part enjoyed the food and had a good time. (also posted to my food blog)

Yelp
We order from Harmony fairly often. We would visit more if we lived closer. Their food is always delicious and their service is fast and friendly. I've been eating here for many years and it's always so delicious. We always get the Fried Crunchy Chicken with Pepper & Spicy Sauce, probably the best thing on the menu. It's on the appetizer menu but we'll eat it as a main. The General Tao's Chicken is soooo good. We often share it. I've tried a lot of things on their menu but I keep coming back to this one.

Yelp
Fried. Crunchy. Chicken. It's soooo delicious. Highly recommend. The fried stuff is especially outstanding. A must if you're a vegan/vegetarian in ATL.

Yelp
THE BEST MEAT ALTERNATIVES I HAVE EVER TRIED. I have been vegan for 6 years now, and I have tried some hit or miss vegan food. I got the Mongolian beef (one of my fav entrees that I haven't had since I gave up meat). It was so delicious, and I don't even think meat-eaters would be able to tell the difference from real beef. That being said, this place is a great spot for non-vegetarians too!

Yelp
Worst sesame chicken I have ever been served, tasted like frozen crap you would buy commercially, spring roll was ok, mushroom asparagus soup was just water and veggies in my opinion. Very disappointing!

Yelp
We came here with the mindset that it's not going to be chinese Chinese place you know, it's more like nice little American Chinese place. But their imitation is fantastic. I had those back in China, I'm surprised they have it here in Atlanta, and I thought I'd go for giving some support. We ordered coconut shrimp, and Shanghai dumplings. I would say the shrimp is pretty good! That's the only reason I'm writing this cuz the texture is spot on amazing. Coconut sauce is also sweet and milky. The dumplings were let downs. I didn't enjoy those that much, the skin was too thick and doughy, the stuffing was mushy. But I'm sure someone would like those! Come if you want to explore the new world of veggies imitation meat!

Yelp
Located on the amazing Buford Highway in Doraville, GA this place is one of many great Chinese restaurants. However--a Chinese restaurant with the standard dishes, but all VEGETARIAN, that's what sets this place apart. The inside is nothing spectacular. Standard decor. Drab furnishings, etc. We were greeted and seated quickly. Once we put in our orders, it didn't take long for everything to come out. In addition to the meals being vegetarian, the prices really makes this place a winner. The lunch special meals come with soup, 2 curry patties, a large helping of rice and whatever "meat" you choose for $5.50-$6.50! You can't beat that. The food is very good. The dishes taste very much like the original meat dish. I'm sure if you took a carnivorous person there, and didn't tell them it was a vegetarian place, they wouldn't know. They really get the flavor and texture down. I'll be back! Check it out.

Yelp
Holy mama moly. I've hit the jackpot. In the past few years, I've turn pescatarian. This is also a new city for me so I was in search of a go to spot. But when it comes to vegetarian foods, I've never had one where it was Chinese style. I went to one in Duluth, but Harmony cannot compare. It was on another level. The menu is so authentic to a Chinese restaurant as well. We ordered curry pockets as appetizers and sesame chicken. The names on the menu appear as regular items on a Chinese menu, but I swear that it's all vegetarian friendly! The curry pockets were amazing. The crust was not deep fried tasting. It was light and crisp. It tasted almost like a pie crust. Then, the curry inside was bomb, needless to say. It had a slight turmeric taste but not over bearing. The sesame chicken, lord. It was nice and crispy, and the sauce just completed it. I mean, it was difficult to tell that what I was eating wasn't meat. Even my meat-eater bf was shocked. Their lunch menu/price during the weekdays are unbeatable. It was like $5-$7 for a bunch of food because appetizer comes with your meal. I'm heartbroken that I'll never get to come for lunch since I'll be at work. But glad they have it affordable for people who are curious what it's like!!

Yelp
Harmony Vegetarian has the charm of having best classic Chinese food but all vegetarian. The chicken and duck are impossible to tell from real meat and the flavors were so unique. The basil fried rice needs an honorable mention, loved it!

Yelp
I have been looking for a nice vegetation chinese restaurant to add my pescatrian lifestyle. And I find it in Harmony Chinese Restaurant. From the customer service to the delicious food. I would give this place a 5-star! I looooove the food. I want feeling well and wanted some soup. So I decided to get some wonton soup. I was "yrlping" and came across the restaurant that was 15 min from my job. So I said let's try it out. The Wonton Soup was what I was going there for but I came out with that and...Vegetarian Shrimp Low Mein. When I say delicious...I truly mean it! I never had vegetarian shrimp that taste like shrimp. Even to the texture of the vegetarian shrimp, it was just like the real thing. I normally don't order low mein because the sauce is so thick and rich. Many chinese restaurants I feel add to much sauce in which you can't taste the food. But, this meal had a delicate balance of sweetness and crunch. The noodles didn't taste over cooked and the veggies weren't fried to limpness. They were crisp and well cooked. The sauce portion was just right for the meal. The location is very quaint within a shopping plaza on Buford Hwy. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot for chinese food.

Yelp
Vegan Friendly Review: I have had Harmony Vegetarian Restaurant on my radar since being back in Atlanta for almost the last year. The wife and son are out of town for the weekend so I decided to come solo for Sunday lunch. I know that the reviews vary but I had an outstanding lunch here. I was in the mood for Mock Vegan meat and this place delivered beyond even what I had in mind. I started out with the fried shrimp for an appetizer. The shrimp tasted and had the same texture of real shrimp with an excellent sweet sauce that had came with it. I almost could have eaten the shrimp and been full haha but had already ordered the lemon chicken with a side of brown rice. The lemon chicken was plentiful and I enjoyed the sweet lemon sauce. I really enjoyed this meal and am ready to return to try some more Vegetarian/Vegan Chinese cuisine!

Yelp
Enjoyed all the dishes we ordered today. The fried tofu skin seaweed roll was crispy and very light. Super delicious. All of the dishes had so much flavor! We will be back to try the other dishes on the menu.

Yelp
This is amazing, and a nice little gem for vegan Chinese food! The meat options are fresh and tasty. Portion sizes are also nice for the lunch special which was under $8. I'll definitely be back once I'm in the area!!

Yelp
Wow, I really really liked my meal here! They have wonderful vegetarian proteins, fresh vegetables that are cooked well, great price points, and large portions. I appreciated that they were willing to steam my protein (chicken) when the menu called for it to be fried. Definitely will be back.
