Harold's Meat Market

Meat looks so clean and fresh, several homemade cakes for $22.00, German Choc, Italian Creme, Red Velvet...pies too. The tenderest, most juicy ham I've ever had.

I have been coming here for over 50 years let that sink in. I started as a small child in kindergarten my parents knew the best place to buy Meats at a good price but at that time I was more interested in getting a candy necklace from the candy section which is still in the exact same spot it was in my day is a small child. A great place to get meats. You can go to Publix and get something on sale but I almost guarantee that the regular everyday price here at Harold's would be better. They also have an excellent selection of fresh produce and General Store type things. It's much more convenient nine times out of 10 then going down to Publix.

I come here often it's a great clean meat market that doesn't accept food stamps which i do respect because they'd probably never have meat there since the prices are fair lol

They are doing much better in keeping the freezers clean and defrosted. But it still smells of either rotting veggies and or that horrid fabulosso cleaner that I end up having to walk right out if they have just used it The meat is good by today's standards though glad I still can get meat somewhere vs chain groceries who don't use good sourced meat

Convenient store with a great selection of meats and produce as well as a good variety of frozen and dry groceries. Thank you for always carrying banana now or laters

Prices are great! Its a hit or miss when wanting certain meats or fish, but thats fine. I keep coming!

Y'all please watch their meats. This is not the first time I have ran into an issue with their meat. They're changing dates. Selling bad meat. I bought these wings just for clarification about them. I went back in and ask why the sell by date read "11/24. Keep in mind this is Feb. We know good and damn well chicken will not last longer than 3-4 days refrigerated. I proceeded too ask about the date. The girl said that meant if you freeze them you should use them by this date. Sell by & use by! Two different meanings in the food world. KEEP YOUR EYES & NOSE CLEAR FOR ANY MEATS YOU BUY HERE!

Is convenient their stuff is fresh their vegetables or meat I love them they're reasonable prices

Drove by this place numerous times, never gave it much thought. Couple of weeks ago sent my husband in to check it out, then last week went back with him. I love this place!!! Food is always fresh, butchers are happy to get you whatever you want, the produce is super fresh and plentiful. Completely recommend visiting and getting acquainted with Harold's Meat Market!!

Great place for your fresh meat, fruit vegetables and other items, I picked up some goat to make some Curry Goat and the meat was the freshest I could find in the area, not freshly cut but could tell it wasn't in the freezer for a year. I would recommend calling ahead to make sure they have certain items if you live far away.

I was looking for rib eye steaks for a dinner gathering and was really hoping for some really great steaks. I went to Harold's and I was so satisfied. The cuts were amazing and the butcher was very helpful. It is a small place but they do an amazing job. I would definitely come back and purchase more from this great small business.

Best place to get meat in the area. The store has a wide array of other products as well. Today, I went and bought two steaks (pictured below) for dinner. The prices of meat are normally cheaper than any of the supermarkets nearby. I like to store because I can go in, get what I want and leave without walking through an entire supermarket.

First let me just say though I share the same first name as this establishment. I am in no way related or under the influence of the business owners and my review is purely 100% based on my first impression and interaction with the staff, so let's begin. I stopped in, in hopes of finding some quail and it's eggs. To my surprise in their meat department they had elk, bison, gator, goat, venison, beef ox tail and quail, then they also had your standard meats like pork, beef, chicken and turkey. They carry Fish, shrimp and various shelled fish also. Even more impressive is there farmers goods. The vegetables and fruits were in premium condition. I would expect to see this type of quality in a Publix supermarket or roadside right in front of the actual farm. Due to the pandemic (virus) that is currently going on at the time of me writing this review the staff informed me that the shelves were at half capacity because they are unable to restock due to high demand created a shortage. The staff was very nice and informative. The cashier actually would leave her post and find a item that you were searching for. Nice The staff service and the atmosphere is five star. Four-star was a shelves capacity at the time of this review. I will return. ( I forgot to check for eggs. Lol..)

I went to this place for the first time. Some of the meat was very good prices and not expensive but the cans all were 1.99 each which is extremely overpriced. I recommend this place mainly just for meats and maybe some vegetables.

Great meat selection. Very knowledgeable butcher. I'm going back to try the bacon sausage he recommended.

We stop in every couple of weeks to fill our freezer with meats from Harolds. We usually pick up a few porterhouse steaks, ribeyes and filets. They have good sized chicken wings so those are a must as well. We usually throw in a couple of different types of sausage as well. It's unexpected, but the tater tots they carry in their freezer section are awesome. Everyone at Harold's is super friendly and makes the experience that much better. It's kind of a drive for people who live on our side of town (Mandarin) but it's a. 100% worth it and b. why we stock up on our trips.

The selection is lacking and the prices are through the roof. I'm not going to be a customer because it's way too expensive.

Harolds will now be my Go-to Meat Market. Nice people. Great selection of meats and produce, with lower prices than most. I also like that they are open 7 days a week. It's a one stop shop on a Sunday for me. I'm glad I found this little hidden gem.

Oh my!!! Shame on me, I haven't been here in about 5 years. My loss! Thanks to Richard for getting my special order of Sirloin Cap & Skirt Steaks. Great corner location, NOT ONLY meat market, but groceries, and beautiful veggies pre packaged. Can't wait to try the hot breakfast sausage. Clean and very helpful & kind staff and a nice customer to help me to the car. Great to be back.

Came here while I was waiting for my food. I walked in expecting dusty cans, so-so meat, old veggies and an "old groceries" smell...surprisingly, it was not. ALL the veggies were fresh (no bugs flying around), sorted neatly, and huge! Especially the carrots. The meat looked fresh and VERY reasonably priced. They had everything from breakfast meats, to steaks. Plus, the store is VERY clean, and the workers are helpful. You can tell they take pride in this store. This will be my go-to spot for meats when I can't make it on the south-side!!

friendly people they will cut the meat you want if you ask I drive cross town to get there so I normally take my freezer bag and get ten t bone and some ribeye in one tripp

Nice people, fair prices. And just had to represent for the"hood" stores even though it's not technically in the hood. It's definitely a hood store though. And naw they don't have choice or prime grade meats. Just select playa, lol.

Love this store. Old country feel to it. Very clean. Workers are very courteous. Meats reasonably priced and vegetables are fresh.

really nice spot, but the only time i will shop there is when the blonde hair lady is working maybe the owners wife . she is the best will have you laughing my who family shops with her keep up the good work and the prices are great too good food and great service.

Good quality, Good $$ I love the fresh meat, freshly ground meat, fresh homemade sausage which is also very lean! I only wish they would start to do ground chicken or turkey and chicken/turkey sausage. But I drive 15 miles so I don't have to buy from chain grocery stores who add color to meat to make it look fresh. And you can ask then for anything if you dont see it, they'll get it! I bought the most delicious and tender Standing rib roast there- Best price in town!!

Only place besides Publix Market that I will buy meat from. Great prices, great cuts. Chicken taste like chicken!!!! Also get 2 lb. frozen Argentinian shrimp here. Unbeatable prices. They have a great selection of wrapped produce. located corner of Dunn and Lem Turner Road.

In search of pork bellies and the search continues. I have eaten their meat a couple of times and it's pretty good. But, on this trip I'm looking for bellies. I'm out of bacon and that's not good for this former fat kid. They say they can get some maybe next week. This is an old-time butcher who can cut you whatever you want. Now not go see if we can do that or find something close to what you want. It's a I want this, this thick and they will cut it. not many of theses around theses days.

Fresh and inexpensive meat! I get all of my chicken/steak/beef from there. I literally spend $30 on a week of food in here, eating ny strips, lean ground, chicken breast etc. customer service is amazing and you will most likely be remembered after your first visit.

I have been shopping here for years. They have the best meat selection in town. The staff is friendly and it is locally owned.Great prices. Only set back is the store is tiny and very old.
