"When you arrive at Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster Company, an attendant will guide you into the wharf’s parking lot like you’re at Disneyland. You can order lobster rolls and clam baskets at the window, and whole steamers at the lobster pound around the building’s corner. The lobster roll here tastes sweet, and even though the bread is on the floppier side, it still has enough structural integrity to support the meat, mayo, and lettuce. The pickle slices might be hidden away at the bottom of your roll’s paper basket, but consider it a little present you get to unwrap while watching the ferry boats head towards Casco Bay." - anne cruz

"A true seafood shack of the red-beadboard-and-old-wooden-tables variety, this Freeport landmark has been operated by the Coffin Family since 1970, and not a lot has changed in that time. The Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster Company is a magnet for boaters pulling up to the dock who are seeking some of the best seafood around. There are absolutely no culinary sound barriers being broken at this restaurant, but what it does, it does extremely well. Some favorites include fried clams and lobster rolls, and the homemade desserts—especially the whoopie pies and blueberry pies—are worth a trip on their own." - Alexandra Hall

Not a bad price, good location and decent food! The lobster rolls are ONLY served cold so be ware if you care about that. Even hot butter, the meat will be cold. The chowder was very good and thick, could use some more clams but overall great! The blueberry pie and ice cream is fun and worth getting. Not too much blueberry flavor but the texture was great and so was the ice cream.

The epitome of Maine! Excellent food, friendly service and a terrific atmosphere, should you choose to stay. Lobster rolls and onion rings to go are our thing and they do it as well or better than anyone in Maine. I’m a slave to their food. So. Free. Me.

We had the lobster roll, fish, and whoopie pie. They were all good. The whoopie pie was huge! Get there before Noon or you will be waiting in line.

I've been stopping at this place for lobsters for over 30 years. I have always enjoyed it. But definitely not a 5 star place. It should be 4.5. It is easy to order and the food comes pretty quickly. In the afternoons, it is always nice to sit on the upper deck and enjoy the view of the water.

Super fresh seafood… caught within feet of the restaurant! Offering lobster, crab, clams, mussels, fish and local faves! We had the classic lobster roll! So good! Not cheap… but very tasty. I saw many other dishes around the place that looked even better! Seafood boil looked impressive. CASH ONLY, but they have an ATM on site!!

First time going. There are plenty of seats outside. Portion sizes are large. This location is cash only, but they do have an ATM inside.

One of our favorite places to get seafood! Prices are reasonable and you get to eat right out on the pier with all the lobster boats. It's not fancy, just delicious! You can BYOB.
