I’m a big fan of a chicken caesar wrap and came to try theirs. Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! And their menu is pretty extensive. I definitely want to come back and try others. Also tried their apple hand pie which was just as incredible as the wrap.

Stopped by Harried & Hungry and got the Old Smokey sandwich wow, it was seriously tasty! The flavors were bold and the ingredients super fresh, though a little extra salt would’ve made it perfect. Super affordable for how good it was, and the service? Top-notch friendly folks who made the vibe welcoming. Can’t wait to swing by again and try more!

Support this business! They are amazing, the food is healthy and good quality, and it's affordable. I used to go here with my partner for work lunch dates when they were downtown on 3rd, the owner and his spouse would take orders. I thought when they moved, they were catering only but I was so, so delighted to discover they still do individual orders! Seriously, I went here almost every workday because it was the best deal. & It is still amazing. My partner and I even got the same exact salad-turned-wrap that we used to split. Except it's even better now because we were greeted by Marcos who was just the friendliest. Great, fresh, healthy food at affordable rates, and kind, enthusiastic service. What more could you ask for?

Wow, wow, wow! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve drove past this place, if I could meet myself a year ago I’d slap him for neglecting to visit such a great lunch spot! I’ve had only three of the menu items but it’s definitely not enough. The pricing for the quality of your meal is off the charts. My favorite is the half sandwich and half salad combo. The chicken Ceasar was scrumptious, nice and bright with the added lemon. On par for what you’d get at a nice restaurant only it’s half the price and just as tasty. I got the Rainier, it was a little spicy with a fresh charred tomato aioli to bring everything together. I walked in for my first time to see around 10 people working through the lunch rush, they handled everything with precision and made no mistakes. It may seem like it’s busy on the outside but the assembly line style kitchen they have kept pushing out orders left and right. If you have been thinking about going here, try the sandwich and salad combo. It’s a great way to get a bit of both and to try the menu without having to shell out $25 for a lunch. I will certainly be coming back, H&H has definitely earned my business.

Google
Wow, this place was delicious! And the staff was very nice. Portions are very generous as well - the half sandwich was so big I didn't eat the salad yet! Chocolate chip cookie was just okay but otherwise really pleased with this place!

Google
Can't beat these sandwich prices! I tried the Havana and the quality and quantity were perfect, but I wasn't a personal fan of the bitter-sour flavor this sandwich ends up targeting (due to a combo of horseradish and pickles). Still, even I could tell through the flavors that it was a solid sandwich- toasted bread, nice slices of meat, and overflowing with stuffing! I dropped in around 8am for breakfast, and for a small cafe, they were POPPIN'! A constant handful of customers in the front, for sure, but the 5 tíos in the back were cooking and packing food non-stop! It's as if they were preparing food for an entire school or something! Is this where their "harried" title describes? It did take about 10min to get my half sandwich. Customers have to order at the one electronic kiosk, and one lady occasionally rotated between cook/prep and front desk- taking questions and serving food. I wish they had a more substantial breakfast drink menu (matcha? coffee/cappuccino?), but can't complain much on the food front! I look forward to trying other menu items in the future here. UPDATE: came back a second time for a croissant sandwich and little raspberry cheesecake from the front display! The croissant sandwich was lovely- crisp bread, fresh (avocados included!) ingredients, and not too dense; it made for a very pleasant breakfast. The cheesecake was dense and its flavor too strong- the liberal layer of raspberry topping made every bite of the thin cake too sour. I wouldn't get this cheesecake again. Happy otherwise! Quick prep work by the army in the back, and still great prices.

Google
Found this place randomly searching online and decided to give it a try because everything looked so good. It exceeded my expectations! I had the salad/sandwich combo which was an affordable deal that was more than enough for my lunch. The Waldorf salad was refreshing and I loved the vinaigrette + greens used. Everything about the Rainier sandwich was yummy - the bread was fresh (soft & crunchy), sauce and fixings were delicious. The pastrami is house made and much more flavorful than any other sandwich shop pastrami I’ve tried. There was an issue with my order so I reached out to the store and they kindly fixed it within two minutes. I appreciated the prompt customer service. I wish they were open on the weekends, because the only time I can ever eat here is during my lunch hour - and it’s a bit of a drive, but well worth it. I’ll definitely be back to try out more of the menu! Only thing to be mindful of is the tight parking lot, but aside from that, this place is 10/10.

Google
Really good sandwiches and really hard to beat prices. Also very fast service, try the rainier if you don’t believe me.

Yelp
Staff hustles! This place gets busy and is very efficient. Food is great! Love the lunch special of half soup and sandwich, is decent priced, especially for the Greater Seattle area. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Casual industrial feel with some seating. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. I know not sounds silly but the Caesar was the star. Grilled chicken was flavorful snd homemade croutons were chefs kiss. I asked for less dressing and I'm glad I did, it was still a little heavy for my liking, but I finished it regardless. Makes for a filling meal. Havana had well seasoned meat and pickles. Baguette was good too! I want to try something with bacon next time because they make it in house.

Yelp
Consistently good sandwiches and salads. Went there several times and it became a go to place for me

Yelp
Always fast, fresh and delicious! Generous portions, friendly service! This is a staple at our office!

Yelp
It's a fast, efficient lunch place with decent prices, I recommend this place for a quick bite for lunch. PROS: - Great location and reasonable prices - Great online order and delivery experience - mostly poultry options with lots of salads and a highly customizable menu - Nicely flavored and well filled sandwiches and salads, really enjoyed their chicken Sammies and the rainier CONS: - the old Smokey was undersalted - the Caesar salad although generous, the ratio was off: way too much dressing, cheese and croutons overpowered the lettuce

Yelp
I will preface this review by indicating that I have been vegetarian for about as long as I have not, and I've got a bit of experience when it comes to vegetarian and plant-based food. I will also say that usually any food to go, or delivered, just isn't the same as ordering it at the location itself. Agreed? Agreed. With the above being said, this eggplant sandwich I just had delivered was *elite*. This is the second best vegetarian sandwich I've ever had in my life, a very close second to the broccoli melt I had at Homegrown (specifically the one in Seattle). Color Me surprised when I looked this place up and it turned out to be a grab and go storefront. I don't know what they put in the sandwich, but it might've been drug-adjacent because wow. The eggplant did not taste gross or slimy, the kale was soft and not bitter but fresh, and the focaccia it was on was bouncy and a perfect sponge for the delicious spread, but not *too* much bread, ya know? I will definitely order from here again!
google avatar

Courtney L.

Yelp
You order at the counter and find a seat or take it to go. Service was quick and everything was clean. There is a display of all kinds of fresh made pastries as well as house made croutons. I wish I had grabbed a bag. I love a Caesar salad with fresh made croutons and lots of Parmesan which is exactly what this had. The Seattle Native sandwich was filled with eggplant, cheese, greens, and a charred tomato aioli. The only thing that would make it better is to put the tomato aioli on the bread as well as inside the veggies. I forgot to take a picture of the salad, but it as well as the sandwich were a great size for the price.

Yelp
I use to love eating here but recent experiences have not been great. I asked for a salad with dressing on side. No dressing was given and salad was dry. Olympic sandwich was so wet that my bread had become wet. I hope they change the quality of the product.

Yelp
Harried & Hungry is an absolute win! Their food was so delicious, they also have fresh baked goods which are yummy as well. The restaurant is clean and inviting. We will for sure be repeat customers next time we are in the area.

Yelp
Had to update to five stars after ordering here more regularly over the past year. They practically never miss, food is delicious and consistent, with excellent value for price. My only minor complaint is I wish they had nutritional info available for all their menu items online.

Yelp
I am beyond GRATEFUL for Harried & Hungry as I was able to provide a boxed lunch assortment for a very important customer today. Most catering delivery companies require 48hr business day notice, which is what placed me in a bind. I'm so happy I was relentless this weekend in searching for local catering companies because now I have found Harried & Hungry and will definitely utilize again. The catered box assortments was filled with variety, quality ingredients, delivered on time, reasonable pricing, and a really filling yet wholesome lunch. I highly recommend!!

Yelp
So got the Old Smokey today (I should have gotten my normal which is the fried chicken sandwich) and got my husband one of the vegetarian sandwiches. And chips. Overall, a pretty decent lunch. And we'll have leftovers.

Yelp
Ordered the Mediterranean salad for lunch and it was delicious. Will definitely try their other menu offerings. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Hands down THE best Fried Chicken Caesar wrap! It is so insanely good. Great crunch from the fried chicken and for the croutons. I encourage you to try this place out! Their facility in the Sodo area is a huge production with a bunch of people making it happen! I have also tried the Buffalo Blue sandwich and it was delicious, but nothing compares to the fried Caesar! LOVE this place!

Yelp
Ughh, I really wanted to love Harried & Hungry. I can't say enough about the lady working the cashier, she was very nice and even helped me out to my car as I was on crutches. For food, I ordered the breakfast croissant and sausage burrito. I expected the sandwich snd burrito to be killer, especially since everything is made in house and to order but honestly they were both just okay. The bacon on the croissant was over cooked for my liking. The burrito tasted a bit bland, even after lathering it with their homemade hot sauce. The burrito was huge, however, which is made it a great value for the money. My only complaint was the wait time. I went inside to order on a Wednesday morning, there were 2 customer waiting for their 2 sausage biscuit sandwiches and no no other customers inside. Not sure how long those guys has been waiting but it was about 5-7 minutes after I arrived amen for me it took 35 minutes to make my food. Not the end of the world but 35 minutes for a croissant sandwich and a burrito was unexpected. In any case, I enjoyed seeing everyone in the open kitchen turn out lots of food and appreciate the kind person working the register. Maybe their sandwiches, salads, and soup are better. I would certainly give H&H another shot to find out.

Yelp
My party ordered the Mediterranean salad and the Caesar salad. Both salads were completely devoured! I also purchased a bag of granola. $4 is a great deal for the bag size. We arrived about a half hour before closing time but assured them that we were taking it to go. One salad came out right away and then we had to wait for 10 minutes before the other salad came out. Meanwhile, I saw many delivery orders completed.

Leslie R.

Yelp
The friedChicken sandwich is excellent! I have only eaten here twice, but each time the food and the service are unsurpassed in quality. The sandwiches are large enough to feed two people with average appetites, or one very hungry person with a large appetite.

Yelp
Excellent place to eat. Everything done fresh everyday. Great prices, nice place to eat lunch

Liz T.

Yelp
Wow! I've been stopping by for lunch the last couple of weeks and have been able to try a couple of items. The Rainier is soooo good, that pastrami and pepper relish combo will do it for me every time. My favorite sandwich there so far. I've also tried their BLT which is just ok and the Havana, also just ok (the pork was very under seasoned IMO needs more Adobo, garlic, salt or something.) However, the their chicken caesar wrap is the best I ever had!! I was surprised it was warm which I loved, all ingredients inside were super fresh and perfectly dressed. Chicken was tender and delicious, caesar dressing very flavorful and those homemade croutons give the wrap the texture it needs. I feel I can eat that wrap everyday and not get tired of it. I feel a food fixation is in progress. Food is also reasonably priced, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Yelp
The fried chicken biscuit!!!! Omg fresh, tastes great! Highly recommend. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable :)

Yelp
This is THE BEST LUNCH in the area! I had the taqueria salad. It was delicious! Having never been there before I had no idea what to expect. I opened the container, and was surprised by how much food there was! It was tasty and flavorful. I'd order it again and again, it was that great! I'm excited to go back and try other things. They have a diverse menu too. Prices are fair too, not insane high! A definite must try if you haven't! It's a huge operation too and they were busy! So glad to see restaurants flourishing in Seattle!!
google avatar

Carol Hartman D.

Yelp
Very fresh and abundant salad and a solid BLT, recommend adding avocado and more lettuce. Cobb Salad loaded with fresh grilled tasty chicken crunchy lettuce and great price at $10-Huge!
google avatar

Kathie S.

Yelp
Food was good. Online ordering for Yelp needs to be updated. Ordered two combo sando, received one. Could be communication error between site and store. First time trying them, I liked they had some grocery items available (bought some pastrami) and food was tasty and fresh.

Yelp
I really like Harried & Hungry and I go there often for lunch during the work week. They put out a lot of food quickly, and it's usually good quality. I am finding there are cross contamination issues lately, however. I am a vegetarian, as are others I work with, and some of us find bacon in our "vegetarian" sandwiches, wraps and salads. I didn't want to post this complaint, but I am hoping they will adjust their practices once they hear this on a social platform. I have mentioned it in person, but nothing changes. Even though, I still give them a thumbs up and a recommendation!
google avatar

Nicole Q.

Yelp
I'm a meat eater but this is one place where I prefer the vegetarian option! The Seattle Native is a satisfying hunk of a sandwich. Eggplant and aioli on thick foccacia - great flavors and textures with just the right kick.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
I would order lunch here every single day if that wouldn't be completely irrational. I always get the combo of sandwich and salad with the special of each for the day and I've never once not enjoyed it thoroughly. Today is a spring salad with chicken, asparagus, feta, etc, and it's amazing. My spouse gets the breakfast burrito and potato hash every time we order because it's so good. Some day my credit card company is going to start questioning how often we order lunch here. It's the best.
google avatar

Isaac W.

Yelp
Great food, super convenient online ordering. The salads can sometimes be hit or miss with their orders. Dressing separated or mixed seemingly at random. Chicken Caesar without chicken? Everything else ordered has been great!

Matt E.

Yelp
How they only charge $10 for a sandwich and salad I'll never understand. The food was good and the place was packed with people.

Yelp
When you're HARRIED & HUNGRY, these sandwiches should be your first choice. After waking up post-flight from HNL, my uncle and his family took my family and I to nearby Harried & Hungry near closing time. Even at this time; they were jolly. They walked us through the menu and talked story with us, then they invited us to dine in in their dining room area. My family and I got: *old Smokey ($10): slow smoked brisket, chimichurri, confit onions, Swiss cheese, and romaine lettuce on toasted sourdough- meaty and satisfying :) *BLT ($9): house bacon, Roma tomato, and romaine lettuce with rosemary aioli and toasted wheat- NOT your ordinary BLT. So much better. The house bacon and the rosemary is what sets it apart from others. *Seattle native ($9): roasted eggplant, Parmesan, and mixed greens with charred tomato aioli and toasted focaccia- probably my favorite sandwich of the three :D Overall, the sandwiches from here are some of the best I've ever had. One wouldn't look pretty eating these, but that's what makes them so good! Be back again to pick up some for a picnic sometime this summer :)

Yelp
I really don't know what happened but I called and ordered 30 minutes before they closed. The person who answered took my order but then when I got in... they said they can make it but they never got the order... I was all sorts of confused . The guy was very kind and said he can still make it.... I didn't really think it was anything special unfortunately and that is why the low rating.

Yelp
I ordered 16 boxed lunches for a 'Lunch & Learn' meeting with a local architect group. One of the reasons I chose them is they were accommodating to our sustainability policies. They have a big selection, but I left it to them to come up with the selection, including a couple of vegan options. They did not disappoint. It was delicious. I'm sure 90% of their lunch deliveries are for noon. The food arrived 20 minutes early, which was perfect. Seamless online ordering and emailed notifications of receipt, processing, and delivery. It was a great experience and I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Norina R.

Yelp
Their parking is VERY limited.....BUT if you are lucky to snag a parking space, the food is delicious. My favorite is their breakfast burritos. It is a little on the spicy side...just to warn you. And their salads are sooo good. I am partial to the Caesar salads. They are only open during the work week, so if you work close by it is a great breakfast, and/or lunch option.

Yelp
One of the best sandwich shops in town!! Located somewhat near Katsu burger and Cake Of Paradise area, this sandwich shop is a must to check out!! Service was just amazing!! Super friendly and patience staff. They menu is always interesting because of they have the special menu to try in addition their standard menu. Love the half sandwich and soup option. Soooo good. Veggies are fresh and high quality, not the cheap iceberg lettuce but the actual kale and yummy arugula. The sandwiches are not overly greasy. Bread is warmed and crispy to perfection, just the right amount of sauce and slight hint of spice to make the flavor interesting. Felt refreshing super refreshing to eat on a hot summer day. We were still craving their food and super excited to try their other sandwiches.

Yelp
I haven't at Harried & Hungry's brick and mortar. However, the company I work for has purchased from them a number of times for lunch meetings. We've done box lunches and also a platter of sandwiches and a large salad. The ingredients are always fresh. Salads are packed with lots of goodies. I'm a big fan of lots of stuff in salads. Their boxed lunches come with the entree if a salad it comes with a piece if bread and butter, sandwiches come with Tims or Maui Chips. All boxes come with a can of Izzie and their cookies. Guilty as charged one of the main reasons I keep ordering from them is for the cookies. If you order catering and select what cookies you want make sure to get the lemon white chocolate ones. I don't usually like white chocolate but these cookies are so good! It has coconut I think, lemon, white chocolate and macadamia nuts. They have a great variety of options for sandwiches and salads. Everyone enjoys their lunches when I order from here.

Yelp
I'm a meat enthusiast, but there's something about the vegetarian option at this place that I absolutely love! The Seattle Native is a delightful sandwich, a satisfying combination of eggplant and aioli on thick focaccia. It brings together great flavors and textures with just the right amount of kick.

Yelp
I had a very nice breakfast here, well actually two breakfasts lol, on my way from an early flight to a conference downtown. I got there right when they opened and it sure got busy by the time I left. The prices really surprised me for this weird year. I got their breakfast burrito and it was bigger than I expected. I almost ordered minus the jalapenos, but the gal told me they didn't overpower the flavors. She was right and it was delicious. I could only finish half, so the other half wound up being my next mornings brekkie. What a bargain!

Jon T.

Yelp
Place was delicious. Got the breakfast burrito. Very impressed. Quick, good music. Shocked on prices

Yelp
Great place for breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The selection service and selection is fantastic. Love their selection of delicious sandwiches.

Yelp
Great lunch time option for a quick sandwich and soup! Finally tried this place out which seems to also cater box lunch meals. Far better than any of the standard office box lunches! Stuff tried: Tomato soup with toasted cheese: i had no idea that when you asked for toasted cheese it meant a whole other toasted cheese sandwich!. Seriously this was actually bigger than the sandwich I ordered. Great for dipping in the soup! Mediterranean salad: generous portion, definitely big enough for a main course with falafel balls on top. I like my falafel really crispy but these got a little less crispy likely from sitting in a to go container. Probably better when dining in. The Seattle Native: grilled eggplant, parmesan cheese on thick focaccia bread. Foccacia is nice and thick but not too heavy or dense. Good flavors. On line ordering is very fast and efficient! Perfect again for the "need for speed" lunchtime crowd! You just pick up your brown bag order to the left of the cashier!

Yelp
The staff is always friendly and welcoming. You can tell everyone works so hard here to get orders done quickly and correctly.

Yelp
Small business for the win! The price is amazing and the online ordering is super easy. There is a small parking lot, but fills up quickly just as quickly it gets emptied- a lot of grab and go for lunch. Online ordering is super easy with customizations and you can set a pick up time. Super hungry? Get a whole sandwich. Hungry? Get the combo, such a good deal. Half sandwich + half salad. Just need to eat? Get a half sandwich. There is also a rotating special every week to keep things exciting. Cobb Salad - Nothing much to say here. It was a solid salad, compliments well with the sandwiches. Blue Buffalo Chicken - I got this without the bleu, but the flavoring is spot on! Fried chicken, but it was not crispy, perhaps it should be eaten right on the spot. Rainier - All the pastrami, has a spicy relish that makes it interesting BLT - Basic and light. Generous on the bacon pieces Special - My favorite after trying all 4 of these at the same time. I can't even tell you what it was exactly. Something with chicken and an aioli hah. Try their special it's all part of the fun! Breads were all well toasted and kept well in a 20 minute drive.

Yelp
Everybody in the neighborhood knows this gem. It's always crowded, and between ppl coming in to dine, or pick up their orders, the catering, and the meal delivery drivers, it is constantly hopping. I wish they had espresso (or even non-dairy milk), but honestly I don't know how they'd manage it. I continually am served by the same two lovely people and they are so informative and gracious. They are really together and so.nice! On to the grub... H & H has breakfast sammiches, burritos, pastries, plus a full menu of lunches of soups, salads, sandwiches (and combos of each) plus cookies and beverages. On top of which, you can buy deli meats & cheeses by the half pound, and jars of pickled things and home made spaghetti sauce. So far, I've purchased a 1/2 lb of their brisket and fontina cheese, plus their chili and tomato basil soups, cobb salad, and various pastries. I've enjoyed everything, but their cinnamon rolls were dry like day old (I think they get them from an outside source) and I could taste the baking soda in their snickerdoodles (I hate that, but it's fairly common in places). The salad was fabulous! As is the chili, tomato soup, and their hand held pies. I look forward to eating my way thru their menu.

Yelp
great place, good prices, good atmosphere. you can get sandwich and soup for $11, wish they had smoothies and better selection of tea/coffee and juice. for juice they only have orange juice in a bottle and for tea its a hot water dispenser, would be better to have a basic tea/coffee machine with really hot water after all its Seattle!!!
google avatar

Tamara B.

Yelp
I am sick as a dog and they helped me. I got eggs and sausage for my kid and grilled cheese x2 with tomato bisque. It was perfect but also was the lady that helped me. Thank you guys!! I totally recommend. The food was pretty perfect! PS also got the homemade pickles. Pretty good. I've made pickles my whole life. They go a little sweet and I enjoy them regardless. It is just that my choice is a spicy dilly pickle so I am complementing not saying they where bad. Solid solid. I'll definitely order again and happy I tried them. Thanks you guys!

Yelp
We got an office party food order from them. Food was good and fresh. They have a wide variety of meats.

Yelp
Cute spot - wanted something near SeaTac but not fast food/drive thru and found this on Yelp!! Husband got the breakfast burrito with bacon and enjoyed it. The bacon was really good and the size was perfect to fill him up. I got the Mozzarella Sandwich on a toasted baguette - it was exactly what I was hoping for - toasty bread outer but soft inner. I also got a cup of broccoli cheddar soup which was tasty. We both grabbed a homemade sweet treat and the only feedback is my husband wanted more filling in his berry hand pie. We will add it to our Seattle must stop place You order at the counter and then they bring to your table. The staff were busy and provided great customer service. This place does catering and if I had an event near them I'd order their food for sure!

Phyllis E.

Yelp
I reviewed this company 3 years ago and today they went above and beyond AGAIN!! Last minute addition to a meeting and in a panic for a lunch...they were able to very quickly (2 hours prior) make an additional lunch and get it on the delivery truck on its way to us! Thank you to the whole crew for making me the hero today (even though it was all YOU!!). You've got a customer for life in me!

Yelp
I am literally angry at myself for not trying these sandwiches sooner. I've been driving by this place a few times a month for the last year or two and never stopped. Today I finally pulled over and grabbed a sandwich and I was not disappointed. I didn't even know I could get a gourmet delicious sandwich for $10 anywhere anymore - let alone Within Seattle proper. Highly recommend trying this it out! I will definitely be back.
