Harriet's Rooftop at the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood offers stunning skyline views and an energetic vibe, making it the perfect spot for cocktails and ambiance.
"Points awarded to Harriett’s for being on a rooftop—and for sporting lovely views of La Cienega’s traffic—but otherwise, this Sunset Strip hotel restaurant is extremely boring. Outside of peak hours when groups of dudes in Costco button-downs show up for bottle service, this patio is shockingly sleepy. Not to mention that spending $18 on a crudité you could make at home in the dark isn’t exactly the mark of an exciting night out. Instead, come here for brunch. The food is far more edible, the crowd is actually into it, and the sunshine will help distract from the inexplicable Dave Chappelle shrine in the corner." - brant cox
"What It Is: Located on the 9th floor of the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood, Harriett’s is one of several impressive rooftops to open on the Sunset Strip over the last few years. But unlike surrounding spots that keep things more low-key, Harriett’s is desperately trying to be a club: Bottle service, DJs, and an all-female wait staff wearing uniforms that’d make some adult film stars blush. Verdict: Points awarded to Harriett’s for being on a roof—and for sporting lovely views of La Cienega’s traffic—but otherwise, it’s unclear what really goes on here. Outside of peak hours when groups of dudes in Costco button-downs show up for bottle service, this place is shockingly sleepy. Not to mention that spending $22 on a California roll you could find at Ralph’s isn’t exactly the makings of an exciting night out. Instead, come here for brunch. The food is far more edible, the crowd is actually into it, and the sunshine will help blind your vision from the inexplicable Dave Chappelle shrine in the corner. " - brant cox
"If you miss those rowdy LA brunches fueled by people-watching, optional bottle service, and great views, Harriet’s is your spot. Located on top of the 1 Hotel, this place is a complete scene, but as long as you know what you’re getting yourself into (big floppy hats and the occasional, unironic fist bump), it can be pretty fun. The solid menu has everything from smoked fish platters and breakfast pizza to more lunch-y options like steak and fries. " - brant cox, sylvio martins, nikko duren
"Harriet’s in the 1 Hotel West Hollywood has one of LA’s most stunning views. This Sunset Strip lounge is open late, where cocktails are paired with snacks for those seeking cocktails or a meal under the SoCal sky, including charcuterie, salmon flatbreads, a short rib French dip, and a Maine lobster roll." - Mona Holmes, Rebecca Roland
"Harriet’s is ideally located at 1 Hotel West Hollywood in the heart of the famous Sunset Strip with sweeping views of the city below. Snacks and large plates pair well with cocktailing including mac and cheese, a lobster roll, or vegetable crudites." - Eater Staff, Mona Holmes
