The food and service are truly exceptional! The samosa chaat was simply perfect, and the pani puri is absolutely delicious. Each visit has been consistently wonderful. The staff members are also incredibly kind and attentive.

First things first - great pure vegetarian place to eat if you want home-style, no oil, no excess salt and cream-filled food. 💗👍🏽 We stumbled on this place passing through hillside and we absolutely loved it. We got the samosa, couldn’t find any oil on it and still so flaky. We ordered the large platter between the two of us with Palak Channa, Shahi Paneer and Dal Tadka with 2 layered parathas. The yogurt was fresh and home-made - all so comforting. We couldn’t resist ordering the paneer paratha we saw on all the other tables. It was magnificent - there was generous paneer filling inside and it didn’t feel mostly doughy like other places. The white makhan on top stole the show. No butter, it was proper makhan. We will be back!

I had a wedding in my family. I ordered all jaggo sweets from them. They did a great job with supplying me the sweets. For all of my home events they made great vegetarian food that was delicious. I’m very close with them they’re great people. Sonia always gives me and my family good services when we need it.

We walked in a little after 8 pm and initially were not aware that the place closes at 9 pm. We were greeted very warmly by Ms.Sonia. She was very patient taking our dine-in order. After we mentioned we'd like to order takeout as well, she quickly advised we order it then because #1 they were closing soon and #2 they get busy. This is a small business so I completely understand and appreciate the heads up. We ordered a Bombay sandwich and chole bhature to stay. And got aloo and gobi paratha, it comes with a side of yogurt and pickle. Dal makhani, shahi paneer, chapati and rice to go. This is the most authentic home made fresh punjabi food in the area. Our sweet servers name was Harmann and she was very polite throughout our stay. We will definitely be back soon and anyone looking to have some garam garam ghar ka khana jaia yummy food should def come to Harry Sweets. Fresh food will always take time to come out, if you don't understand that please stick to places that will microwave your food. We love supporting small business from our communities so I will update my review on my next visit.

I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a perfect spot for gatherings. When the staff learned that we were celebrating a birthday luncheon, they kindly paused the music during our cake cutting and even played the "Happy Birthday" song on the big screen. Such a thoughtful touch! The veg platter/thali was delicious, and I highly recommend trying the masala chai as it's a must! Overall, I give this place a well deserved 5 stars!

Harry and his team did an amazing job at our home for a big religious ceremony. They came early, set up everything nicely, and worked hard all day with a smile. The breakfast and lunch were both delicious — so many fresh options and plenty of food for all our guests. They listened to every request and made changes right away when we asked. They even brought their own coffee machine and served fresh coffee, which everyone loved. We felt very taken care of from start to finish. Everything was clean, well organized, and stress free for our family. Highly recommend Hari and his team for any Punjabi event or religious function. Great people and great service.

A very nice & cozy sweet shop tucked away in Bellerose, Queens. They're known for their mithai especially the ladoos. 1lb of mithai is about $12 which is a great fair price. They have a big selection of mithais to choose from. The staff is super nice and sweet like their mithai. The sister behind the counter was so kind and helpful to me. She brought out fresh ladoo's for me from the back. Inside is pretty casual Desi ambiance which I love. This is the type of business that you gladly keep coming back to & spending your hard-earned money with a smile on your face. They also have a full menu of sandwiches & veggie dishes. Try them out, I highly recommend it. Convenient parking lot in the back to park your car in while you eat.

I had ordered 25 samosa for my colleagues the only request I had placed is I have to take public transport so pls pack it well. The gentleman at the counter was so kind enough to pack it wel . And regarding the samosa they are mouthwatering and very affordable at that cost. Go to place for a well deserved deshi food.

Food was amazing. They have the best snacks. The sweets bright me back to my childhood in India. 5 stars. I didn't like their bhature. They make it differently. But everything else was the best we tried. We had about 10 dishes. Some to go because it was so good. Above and beyond hospitality by ALL staff. I felt like I was at home. They have a lot of carry out orders so they are always busy. The seating is limited but that's enough since most people pick up. The price is very reasonable so it makes sense. I will be going there frequently.

What a hidden gem !! Had the best parathas I've had since I was back home. Service was amazing , ladies that brought out and made the parathas were so sweet. Definitely a must try !!

Omg this place really hits the spot! Such tasty North Indian vegetarian food at a great price. They have all the items that remind me of my childhood. Fresh jalebi - so good! You have to try the bun cholay and the Punjabi burger - made with Hakka noodles! We also had paneer, pani puri and dahi puri. All were tasty and fresh. You can even get thumbs up! and limca! Love the staff here as well. Open now with safety measures in place. Please support your local businesses!

Definitely WORTH the visit in this sweets and snacks shop. One day I decided to browse YELP to find a different kind of snack that is just in my neighborhood and found this spot. Read all the reviews and seems there is a common denominator that this shop excels in, their sweet treats but most specially the "Bun Choley" sandwich that they are famous in. I really got curious and started to ask all my friends and acquaintances (without mentioning Harry's) in Queens, NY (who lives as far as flushing and middle village) on what Bun Choley sandwich is, they explained it to me and I was surprised that ALL of them suggested this sweets and snacks place. So, after work, I ventured out to this place with one specific goal, to try their Bun Choley. It was easy to find a parking in this area, they have a parking space at the back. As soon as I got in I immediately noticed on how clean they are keeping the place, I had a very warm welcome from the guy behind the counter (who I later found out was Harry) who was extremely accommodating, ordered two Bun Choley, one medium and one spicy ( it comes in mild, medium and spicy), I ordered it to-go. While waiting, I had a short conversation with the owner and he explained to me all the sweets and snacks that they are offering (I am telling you, everything looks really good and yummy). My order came in no time, I paid and it was affordable. I ate the sandwich at home and I find it really good and healthy, the bun has chickpeas, potatoes and onions in it, came with a red and green sauce on the side. I enjoyed the spicy one and I saved the medium for later. It was definitely worth my visit, it was something different, it was healthy, it taste delicious, a great sandwich for vegetarians, and a must for those who loves spicy foods (but again, it comes in mild , medium and spicy). This spot is just in my neighborhood and I will definitely be back to try out the sweets and snacks they are offering.

The pani puri at this place is a standout. I find myself daydreaming about it - it's just that good. The Choley Bhaturey are a 10/10. The paneer pakoras are tasty as well. This has quickly become my new favorite spot.

This place never misses. It hits all the flavors for authentic Punjabi food. I've tried many different things on their menu and never have been disappointed. My most favorite thing on their menu must be their aloo tiki burger ( reminds me of what is found in india from street vendors ). The bun sholay is their speciality item, must try item. The only thing I would recommend is to not order ahead as it is never ready when you get there. They start preparing the meals when you enter the establishment which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. When you're told 20-25 mins on the phone but when you get there you have to wait an additional 20-25 mins. I would suggest they change their business model regarding this.

Ordered a few samosas to go. Took some time (about 10 minutes) but were delicious! Packed enough chutneys as well!

I love punjabi food! Harry Sweets and Snacks is the real deal! The waiters are lovely, staff is so welcoming, and the food speaks for itself. Since my husband and I are Indian as well, every time we come to Harrys, we like trying the chaat, katti rolls, and specials!! Highly recommend the bun chole, aloo tikki Punjabi burger, aloo tikki chaat, bhalla papri chaat, and the achari paneer masala roll. We get the food to go usually since we live in Westchester...but if you are able to eat at the restaurant itself, I would highly recommend eating the food while its fresh and hot! I believe they cater for parties as well. Harrys also has a delicious assortment of indian sweets and snacks as well to try from! Highly recommend coming here to try their food.

I tried a lot of different items from here and chole bathura was my favorite. I tried the samosa and it is greasy. The kids liked their noodles from here. Overall it is nice place.

Heard about the place from one of my coworker who indicated that their Samosas are really good. We ordered via Uber eats for pick up and ended up ordering a lot more food. When we went there started chatting with the owner who was down to earth and very friendly and gave sweets (Mithai) to try. We took home Choley Bhaturey, Pav Bhaji, Bhalla Papri Chat, Samosa Chat and Shahi Paneer. We were stuffed beyond belief.

What an amazing discovery! We only visited this place twice so far and we loved everything we got. The sweets are amazing and so addicting! The brown sugar barfi is a huge hit. We ordered the bun chole which tasted as if we were eating the street food of Punjab. I don't know how they do it but they're food is amazing! Looking forward to returning for more.

I've had samosas and jalebi from places all over and the stuff here is hands down the best samosas and jalebi I've had.

The last few months, I have been checking out various joints from Hicksville, Ozone Park and Jackson Heights for the perfect Parathas. Then I discovered Harry's Sweets, a Vegetarian Indian restaurant, right in my backyard across the Nassau border in Bellerose. Their Gobi, Aloo and Mixed Parathas combine the right size, fillings, crispiness and taste topped with a dollop of white butter, served with yogurt and pickled onions. Owners and hosts, Harry & Manpreet accommodate your request for customized Parathas with ingredients such as ajwain, mooli (radish) etc even it's not on the menu. Other items worth making the trip are Bun Chole, essentially a toasted bun stuffed with Chole (spicy chick peas and potatoes) topped with tamarind chutney; salted masala lassi with fenugreek leaves: masala chai and fresh Gur Barfi (Indian sweet made with Jaggery). Also tried the Paneer Bhurji from their daily specials. Ranks as the best one I have had in NY. The restaurant is small, clean 15-16 seater decorated with artifacts from Harry's native place - Punjab. The ambience reminded me of the restaurants in Mississauga, Ontario, the cradle of Punjabi food outside of India and UK. Since everything is made fresh on order, recommend patience and enjoy the chai while you wait for your delicious food.

Tried 25% of the menu last night and everything was tasty and true to its taste. Our order was matthi, pinni, masala kaju, masala peanuts, bun choley, dahi bhalla, saag, samosa, makki roti and masala fries. My wholenfamily enjoyed every bit of it. Try this place for authentic punjabi food and you won't be disappointed. They have parking in the back and take cards. Not food related: my car battery started acted up and they helped me jumpstart n I was home in no time. Thank you so much again.

Read about this hidden gem on Eater and had to pay a visit right away. Harry himself helped us pick out some dishes that I'm familiar with but also recommended a few others that I was excited to try. A multitude of barfis, chaats, and snacks that I cannot wait to try when I return. You can tell when small business owners pour themselves into the food that they proudly serve and this place is no exception!

So this is one of my favorite spots for food vegetarian and the price is you could not beat it is extraordinary excellent

I was in the area and had the biggest craving for a hot cup of chai. I called at 9:55 to see if they were still open and was told to come in. Their official closing time was 10. But they waited for me to come in. When I walked in there were two hot cups of chai waiting at the register. I decided to try some of the sweets since they looked so yummy. The gentleman at the register (who might the be owner) happily let me sample some that he didn't even have in the display. I ended up leaving with two boxes of sweets and some yummy cashews in addition to my chai (which hit the spot!) Everyone in there was so pleasant and kind! That kind of service in Queens at the end of a work day is top notch. Highly highly recommend them! I'll definitely be back to try their vegetarian food!

This place is amazing! My husband and I discovered it as we stoped by a venue this evening and went inside. The owners were super friendly, customer service was fantastic! And the experience was very memorable. We decided to get the vegetable mini platter with rice. Omg it was so satisfying! Everything taste like it was made with love! We also got some sweets. We decided onGulab Jamun and Gajar Halwa. When I say I felt like I was in heaven, I mean it. Both sweet treats were a perfect combo to top off the mini platter. It taste fresh and just right. It's a must try and a perfect bite to top off the night!

Had them bookmarked recently after seeing them featured in two Eater NY articles within days of each other. Harry himself was manning the counter and was kind enough to answer any questions and offer suggestions about the menu. I had the chance to try the Bun Choley, Papri Chat, Mix Parantha, Aloo Tikki Punjabi Burger, Mango Lassi, and a few sweets such as the Almond and Brown Sugar Burfi. It was all delicious and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend checking out Harry Sweets & Snacks. I can't wait to go back again!

bought mixed vegetable. had to wait for 30 mins despite placing the order earlier. the mixed vegetable had stale and smelling veggies. threw out everything.

Ordered delivery from Harry tonight - didn't know what to expect given it's a newer place with few reviews online, but once the food arrived, we were very impressed! We ordered the Bun Chole, Aloo Tikki Punjabi Burger, Pakora / Samosa Platter, Paneer Paratha, Chole Bhature, Masala Fries, Achari Paneer Masala Roll, and Shahi Paneer. All of the items were very tasty; the Aloo Tikki burger was particularly clever (using a very thinly sliced strip of paneer as a parallel to the cheese slice in a burger), and even the masala fries were perfectly desi-seasoned curly fries. Great food if you're looking for snacky Punjabi cuisine, and even better value - will definitely order again!

I really wanted authentic North Indian Punjabi food. This place was amazing. Real homemade cooking! Food was SO fresh! They catered to dairy allergies with no problem. Excellent customer service! Can't wait to go back!

Wow. Superb sweets and nice home-style food. We also spoke with someone who I think was Harry and he was very pleasant. I wish that I lived closer so that I could come here more often. As is, I am driving out of my way to get some more kaju ki barfi.

Earlier this week a few of us visited Harry Sweets and Snacks - we truly loved the food and the price. The food was extremely freshly prepared and with the four of us eating the service was amazing.
