We’re new in town and just walked in one Sunday evening for a beer. Super atmosphere and excellent choice of local beers on tap! Three stars for service because I find it incredibly rude when the server asks, ‘do you want your change ?´ Yo man just give me my change and let me decide without putting me on the spot like that to leave a giant tip ! And in front of my friend too!

This should easily be a five star review any day of the week but unfortunately not on this occasion and being my first visit. Classic dive bar vibe that I will always have an affection for with a no frills approach and lots of clutter on the walls . They had apparently just opened on our early Sunday afternoon visit and the boxes of beer to be put away were all along the bar but who cares about that it’s a dive bar and probably proud of the label. Nice beer selection and I chose an IPA from a local brewery and my wife had a nice sized pour glass of wine. After a while we noticed that it was totally silent and no music was playing losing some of the ambiance. I politely asked our bartender if there was any chance of accommodating us with some tunes of their choice. Her answer of one word was jukebox. As someone who will go out of my way to support local none chain bars I was not in the mood to pay for music and chose to move on down the road for my next beer. I’ll never let one barmaid who may be having a bad day to stop me returning to any establishment but on this particular day it just wasn’t for me .

On arrival, a pretty local crowd, which was refreshing. I felt like like I needed that energy atm. Male bartender was good. (Let me apologize for not leaving a tip, it wasn't you, you were deserving.) Had you closed my tab I would've. Other person was cold and not very welcoming or helpful. I played pool and didn't realize I needed cash(dollar bills to pay) she wasn't helpful when I asked. Other service from her was poor. I travel alot and pull into random spots. I like the local vibe, the location, the people, overall good. Bartender guy, I owe you a tip. I will double up next time. Her face when she realized no tip was left. She showed guy receipt. What would I tip you for lady?????

The most chill bar in town. I love the bartenders and I think they all are great and on point. The drinks are affordable and the people are nice. I always have a great time hanging out and sipping on some drinks. I also like their bloody Mary’s. They’re very delicious.

Fun place and great crowd!! Jukebox, pool table, drinks, what more could you ask for?? They have a nice little patio area set up as well. Will definitely be back.

Rather large guy has a very foul mouth, apparently if you are having a conversation with your friends he butts in with his opinion the gets angry when he's disagreed with and then curses at you!

Always a great time. This is a destination at the end of the night. Great friends, great memories.

Fun legendary est. 1957 dive bar. The bartender Ryan was awesome. Treated our group very well and courteous.

Got hammered here once it was amazing! 5 stars! Bartenders were awesome, just kept feeding me drinks all night. Best place for a good time.

A Palm Beach County staple, Harry's is a must visit if you're into unpretentious dive bars. It's a dive bar without trying to be one. Attentive bartenders, fresh, ice cold brews, and great people abound at this lovable little hole-in-the-wall.

Great bar! The whiskey is served at room Temp! Like a perfect room Temp! Truly amazing. Most beers have just the right amount of Raygroan scrappings, which is a south florida treat. The wide array of Gender Identities between the two Male bartenders is wonderful. With the Older one you get a nice nelly queen butch poly bi curious and the Younger lad is mostly definitely non binary gender fluid fa'afafine. Once we find a new chatter chalk supply the bar couldn't get any better !

they literally charged me 20 bucks for one beer. not sure if there a limit when paying with card. but yeah they charge me $10 for a single beer and I guess they decide to tip themselves $10. yeah I don't recommend this place at all. the staff was low key rude too.

Hardcore professional drinking outpost - especially during the day before hipsters fill it up at night with whatever that's all about. Can smoke and talk to other people who should be 12 stepping it, but forgot to get to a meeting that day...

I've been coming here since the 70's when I got tiired of only drinking beer at "MOTHERS" and came here for a decent liquor drink. This is a true MEETING place (not a MEAT place). I remember when HARRY actually WORKED as a bartender. When the BANANA FARM finally opens again I will be one of the first(if not THE FIRST customer) to order a cold beverage!!!

Cheap strong drinks. But small Smokey and bathrooms are 120 degrees no ventilation. Sketchy people but ok for a dive.

Its been a while since I was at Harry's on a weekend night and now I remember why. The place is cool enough if you have never been in a dive bar before and it was reeking of newbies thanks to being named one of the Top Dive Bars in S FLA by Yelp. It was too crowded for my taste and I had to stand. All the funny banners, funky décor and smoke does indeed ooze of a low class (isn't that what a dive is) establishment and if thats what floats your boat your in luck. But since going to dive bars is now a destination for otherwise curious respectable folks who want to "sample the slums" for a few hours it has slightly lost its appeal to me. See I respect that when your part of the furniture at a dive bar than to you its not a dive bar its just your bar. To feel that if your looking for authenticity, you need to come on a weekday afternoon when "normal " people are generally working and not drinking. Kind of like if you want to sing the blues you got to pay your dues and it dont came easy.. The best craft draft I saw was Sierra Nevada which is served in a 12 oz glass. Easy to drink 4 or more before you know it especially if your thirsty as I usually am. And the price is right. The two of us drank our fill and it was only a 32 dollar bill. I dont really do booze much anymore and might be concerned about getting what your paying for here as at some point one may not know the difference between say Gray Goose and Popov. In dive bars I would say stick to the well. Talking to regulars here is well talking to mostly half crazy people it seems to me. But since I consider myself half crazy that makes for a fully crazy engagement. Ex First guy I said hello to just stared at me as if I called his mom an Asshole. His glare was scary. Second guy wanted to know if I had any coke or wanted to go get some with him and carried on about the old days here when there were more fights and more hookers than todays smattering. And on and on.. Therefore the next time I come it will be on a weekday afternoon when I can really get down n dirty probably buy myself sit at he bar and mumble some incoherent shit while playing whatever I want on the juke box.

Just a fun place. Total "dive" is what we were looking for and it didn't disappoint Bartender was very nice. Filled with locals which is why we want to be there Great drinks, good prices, friendly people and good stories to take home with us. Good times

I am a fan of dive bars. First time here quiet, the breeze is amazing. Drinks are great. Unusal decor right up my ally. Diverse crowd, love that. Had my boyfriend not brought me here I would have not discovered this lil gem. Try it out. I'm sure you will enjoy.

Harry's is one of those amazing finds that only adventurous dive-bar people daring enough to walk into potentially unsavory establishments find. That said, once I found it, I did not stop coming. The primary thing one should know is that drinks are CHEAP! Harry's prices pay homage to the days when poor beach bums who were headed to the Keys stopped and settled in Lake Worth and drank their lives away with little cash. We now get to benefit from history! The atmosphere is also extremely divey, which to me means that one can smoke, speak to friends unmolested by others, and enjoy the stereotypical Florida kitsch that adorns the walls. It is only fair to warn people that all of these elements combine to provide Harry's with a unique fragrance, but the smell becomes a test to see if you are a true dive bar aficionado! There is no room for imitators!

There's a large black awesome cat on the bar. There's smoke everywhere, and I just quit smoking in December, so that made it tough to sit around in. The bar tender was wasted though, and didn't bring us another round of drinks. Had to sit there for 15 minutes to get her attention and get a refill, but by the time she came around I'd decided to just leave. This is a degenerate dive bar, I like it. Drinks are cheap, service is shoddy, and the cat makes up for all of it. I should give it a shittier review considering the service, but, it's a freaking awesome dive bar. So I can't really hate on it. Tell the bar tender to drink a water between her booze.

Okay, so this is one of the more difficult places to review. It is certainly a dive bar, borderline biker bar. We saw it on Yelp and it had a 5 star rating with a good number of reviews under its belt; however, the pictures made the place appear less than desirable. That being said, we threw caution to the wind and decided to stop in anyway, because hey it's a Banana Farm bar, whatever the hell that means. The bartender was nice, I only ordered a draft beer. The beer was fine, but the place was pretty crowded and they allow you to smoke inside, which 90% of the patrons took advantage of. They had a Golden Tee Machine, pool table, and a number of TVs. Again, this one is difficult to rate, I can see some people rating this a 5 star and others a 1 star, so I decided to split the difference. It's a bar for a specific type of clientele and just wasn't my thing. Overall, I would just caution you to not get tricked into going just because it's called a Banana Farm haha. Also, be careful didn't seem like the safest area, and the bar itself did nothing to make me feel more safe/comfortable.

If you like to drink inside an ashtray, this is your kinda place, down and dirty, with the emphasis on the latter. Instead of the jokey one liners on the marquee, Harry's might inform the unknowing that smoking is permitted [as it is in all Florida bars, research reveals the morning after... thank you for your legislative wisdom, Tallahassee!]. There are Yelpers aplenty with the good news about Harry's. [$4.75 for a Crown Royal on the rocks.]

I am certain that my bartender has torrets. But he was amazing. I believe they call him Ray.

I'm not the drinking type, but if anyone asked where I wanted to go for a drink, it would be Harry's. Although it's rather small, the crowd tends to be friendly and I'm always greeted with one drink after the other without waiting. Ray is one of my all-time favorite bartenders, and I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. They've got a pool table, an iTunes and a black cat who likes to keep you company. This is THE go-to dive bar. Absolutely love it! Keep up the good work!

I have been coming to Harry's for over ten years. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw the short stick! I have laughed here. I have cried here. I have embarrassed myself here. I don't care and neither does anyone else. I don't make it in often enough.

Our entourage hit up like seven or eight places last Saturday night, and this place stood out through murky memories as the gem of the evening. Just grimy and lively enough to make a girl consider that redneck marriage proposal, so long as the wedding's held there at Harry's Banana Farm.

Amazing dive that you don't across very often. Loved the bartenders. Loved the beer prices. Fun place to hang out as long as you're not afraid of sarcastic people. We live about an hour from this place but look forward to coming back whenever we're in the area.

Went in on a quiet Wednesday evening with a girlfriend for a casual night's conversation and a pitcher of beer and proceeded to have a really negative experience. Almost immediately upon entering the space, I was harassed and touched by a male patron in erogenous zones (back of my leg, etc.). Fifteen minutes later, my friend and I stood up together and headed for the jukebox to pick out some tunes. For some reason, we immediately became the topic of discussion and the ENTIRE BAR (12- 15 adult people) ended up berating us. Surprisingly (or not, to some),one of the very inebriated and very aggressive bar tenders was the ring leader in this circumstance, being the one who brought us to everyone's attention. Let me stress that we didn't talk to anyone, had little to no interaction with the other patrons in the bar, kept a low profile and entirely to ourselves, etc. It was only when a slew of incredibly drunk men approached us AT OUR TABLE and touched our bodies and kissed our hands did we interact with anyone besides ourselves. John, the not-so-wasted other bar tender, did nothing to check his co-worker's words or actions. He sat on the other side of the bar smoking a cigarette watching all of this go down. He sat in passivity, immobilized for some reason unbeknownst to me. John totally didn't stop his co-worker from creating a terrible atmosphere and berating his two paying, sober, polite customers. The neighborhood bar where I decided to spend my money was instantaneously turned into a really unsafe space, a space where I kept my mace in my hand the whole time. All in all, it is my personal suggestion that people who are perceived as women DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR in a group of only women or alone. Don't go to this bar, period. If you must, go with a man. I'm not one for telling people (whomever they may be) where to go or how to behave, but take heed. Be ready to be touched, kissed on the hand, pet, approached by people who are incredibly, incredibly wasted, etc. Be ready to have your body up for grabs and to be ogled and gawked at. And when you don't respond positively to these come-on's, be ready to be perceived as bad people who deserve name calling. It is not a quaint and charming dive bar to me; to me, it was a space where sexist and hateful things are okay to say to complete strangers/paying customers, disrespect is the standard, and kindness is out of the question. I left feeling terrible, the service was terrible, the pitchers of weak domestic beer cost way too much, and I will never go back there. I want my two hours and my $10 back.

A local dive bar with some fun stuff inside...a trip down memory lane! It has a plethora of Knick-knacks! It's an "old man's bar" with local flavor. Harry's is a fine place to stop in after a hard day of work for a shot and a beer. You cam get a can of PBR or a bottle of Bud is about Harry's speed -- and that's ok!!
