This place saved us. We are traveling and stumbled upon this place. Amazing customer service, prices, and GOOD FOOD! Definitely stop here if you’re looking for some good food in the area.

Amazing prices for the portion. They are super fast and give great service in the drive thru and dine in. The food is delicious no matter what you get. The grilled items have the tastiest char flavor. This place is a gem. It is a packed diner but i have never had to wait for a table.

There was a new girl she over charged me $7.00 I was there with my family and I was being cheap because I don't have a lot of money. I took out my phone calculator even added the taxes it didn't add up. I've always like Harry's there food is great but the employees not all are good. I'm broke I don't need people to steal from me. Fix the problem with your new employees or I'm never coming back. This is very missed up Harry's.

Grabbed a bacon burrito here for breakfast. Nice and friendly service. Opened up another register to take care of the line forming. The bacon was crispy and a healthy portion. Hash browns were well seasoned and also had a bit of crunch. Salsa was tasty and added to the flavor. Great price overall. It's hard to find a really good breakfast burrito that isn't overpriced nowadays.

Walked in here about 12 minutes to closing and we were starving. My best friends birthday and I promised her some food. Staff were so polite, no one complained and cashier was gracious and kind to us. Excellent hot food and everything was cooked perfectly. Will be back again to try out other items on their vast menu! Highly recommend....

This place is a couple minutes away from my job so I popped in. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. There are a lot of homeless near where I work and throughout much of Stanton - not judging, just want you to know so you aren't surprised. Life can be unforgiving and there are people in desperate need everywhere you turn. Back to Harrys. It is a solid diner. I've tried the burger, patty melt, club sandwich and gyro so far. They have a spread of stuff like that, and Mexican stuff so you have a lot to pick from. They do breakfast as well. I see a lot of older folk and workers. They serve you very well, and if you are like me you won't be able to eat the pile of fries they serve with your meal, it's enough for 2 or 3 people to share. The lady's are awesome, always cleaning up, now and then they'll ask if you want fruit and give you a little bowl of grape, sliced melon and the like on the house. Price is fine for what you get - you can spend the same amount eating a cookie cutter fast food meal. It's on my ticket for at least a weekly visit and I popped in for an inexpensive dinner with the family after work one day when nobody felt like cooking. We all enjoyed it.

If you are lucky enough to live nearby this place is the best and some of the nicest people work here

Fast service friendly staff and most all wallet friendly I always enjoy coming here. I always come here because of the prices it's reasonable.

This place has consistently gone downhill. Complete incompetence at the drive thru, constantly getting orders wrong, can't communicate and they repeat orders you never made. Today we had to have 3 people get on the microphone and NONE OF THEM got it right!!! All this while their prices skyrocket!!! And the price is never consistent. You can order the same thing 3 times and get charged 3 different prices (once again your order will be wrong)!!! My family has been going here for years, and as of today, we will never go again!! Don't see them staying in business if they keep these practices up.

Came to Harry's today to get a sausage breakfast burrito for takeout. It was 80% potatoes, 15% sausage, 4% cheese, and 1% eggs. Disappointing compared to the way the breakfast burrito used to be here! I know egg prices are high but this was really a potato/sausage burrito. I would rather have them add a dollar surcharge and put some eggs in this thing!!

Ive tried almost all the harrys around here ,food is pretty consistent but the service at this location is very bad in the morning, i don't know if the cashier lady doesn't like working here but really bad customer service

Good breakfast, nice portions for price. Very friendly staff . I've had the club sandwich, it was okay. Overall this place isn't bad

Delicious food! Friendly, quick service! Clean restaurant. Even cleaner women's bathroom. I ordered the fish tacos plate and a chocolate shake. The sauce n the taco tasted homemade. The cabbage was fresh and crispy, and chopped tomatoes fresh. On the plate, the refried beans tasted like Grandma makes. And the shake, yummmmm. I will return again.

Great food and great service overall! Also super affordable, I'd recommend it if you're on a budget.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband went to get us breakfast this morning, he ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on sour dough bread, with a side of home fries. I open the home fries and more than half the potatoes are still raw and huge huge chunks. Now the sandwhich...open up to find a BLT with tons of mayonnaise and one fired egg covered in mayonnaise. I don't know where the sandwich became completely something else, but I'm allergic to mayonnaise and had no desire for a BLT. The restaurant isn't close and my husband had to drive to get breakfast. I called the restaurant and tell them about to wrong sandwich and that I am allergic to ingredients added, girl snaps at me and tells me we'll bring it back. Now to drive waste more gas, and for the inconvenience you think when I asked if they can refund back the cost of the sandwich this wouldn't be a issue, but she just said flat out said no. I ask for the manager to see if they would realize the establishment mistake, not ours and give us a refund or even a courtesy credit for future use, instead she said hold on and I listened while she told someone the mistake and was complaining about me not wanting to eat a item that could put me in the hospital in Spanish, which I understood every word since I'm Puerto Rican. So unprofessional and rude. Most time, money, and my husband had to go elsewhere closer to home to buy breakfast twice in one morning. Horrible service and check your orders before leaving cause they just want your money.

I really liked making breakfast memories here. Portions are huge, and food tasted really homely. Workers are very kind. It's very quiet and relaxing. The seats are comfortable

I bought a breakfast burrito on Thursday March 27 at 6am. I ordered the steak and eggs version. When I got to my office I had half and it was terrible. The hash browns were burnt black and it ruined the whole thing, also a huge piece of steak gristle and fat was in it I had to spit it out. The meat itself was chewy and if so should be chopped smaller then. Overall it was poor quality. Their salsa is also tasteless and not spicy. For $12.99 a total rip-off!

Great food. No wifi in the restaurant but open late. I've only ever had the breakfast options but they're always great! The employees are very nice too.

Carne asada fries 1.5 out of 5 :( Chili cheese fries 3 out of 5 :/ I mean for the price tho it could be worth it lol

Food and service is excellent. A wide variety to select from with breakfast served all day. Restaurant is well maintained with owner there most days and nights. Love their green chili verde, pork chop dinner, burgers and omelettes. Yep, I have my go to menu item selected even before I arrive. Drive through available for those in a hurry or just not wanting to get out of the car. Tables are a plenty with two TV sets playing at all times. Menu can be read or visualized on the wall.

Food taste bad my philly steak cheese was so bland and where is the cheese to make a combo it cost 5.89 and to up size the drink is 1.99 total 21 and some change for 20 bucks u can eat alot better then this stuff, this isnt even food it slop on a soggy bun, ask for seasoning salt on my fries got nothing and why do I need so much fries that probably explains the 5.89 make it a combo. The orange bang dont taste good either.

Finally got let down at Harry's Cafe, they forgot to give me my drink and I pull out of the driveway and drive a couple blocks down the street, realizing I didn't have my XL Jamaica. So I went back up to the drive-thru window and tell the female employee that you forgot my drink. She then starts checking the order receipts like I'm lying to her. When I pulled back up my drink still wasn't even made and it was male employee who took my order, so he never made my drink. My 25 years of loyalty are definitely compromised now, whenever someone thinks I'm lying and I know I'm not lying, it's very tough to ever trust a business again.

Great place, many choices, reasonably priced and a famous spot, lots of customers Customer service was friendly and they came to our table to refill coffee without having to be asked. I'll come back again

Very inexpensive, staff was very friendly, large portions. I had the boasted chicken. Came with soup, salad, baked potato, bread, and the chicken. Was less then 12 dollars plus tax. Everything tasted fresh.

Harry's Cafe is a solid place. Will you get food that will blow your mind? No. But you will get a lot of food at a good price and taste good. I have yet to have a dish from here that I hated. I enjoyed everything here from their breakfast menu, to burgers, to sandwiches, to dinner plates, and to their salad plates.

Decent food but will Not be back. Everything is high but $19.76 for a cheeseburger fries and coke is way out of my price range. Back to in n out for better burger and WAAAY better prices.

This used to be a good place to get breakfast burritos but not anymore. Ordered a triple meat breakfast burrito that had a shit load of potatoes, one slice of bacon, two sausage links and I couldn't find any ham. This is the second time in a row that this has happened. I will not be going here anymore.

I think this place is a good bang for your buck and they give huge portions. The price for everything on the huge menu is reasonably cheap. The service is fast and efficient. Probably one of the better burger joints that serve good food for a cheap price. I always get the turkey club and never get disappointed with the huge portions and great taste.

Food was decent, but found something in our water cups like food residue or bugs i don't want to think about it. But it was disgusting where I lost my appetite. I went up and asked for a paper cup instead and I was going to be charged a $1 for asking for water in a paper cup. Customer service is 0 stars here

The food is off the chart, everything cooked the old fashion way, with pride and care. I must go to Harry's Cafe twice a day 7 days a week. There spinach. Omelette.Is an adventure of morning freshness, along with of best brewed coffee. The burrito.can (breakfast) can be dinner, breakfast, lunch. Hamburgers are tops, a few onion rings and refreshments of your choice. This restaurant gives seniors a 10 percent discount, ease the cost of our daily budget. The cooks give me wave and smile, as I drive up to pickup my meal. Katella and Dale Street, On the corner.

Who doesn't love comfort food? By bf and I love to try local diners. We stopped by here and we both enjoyed our meals. His guac cheeseburger was exactly the diner style you would expect/crave. My steak sandwich was salty and satisfying.

Do NOT order a breakfast burrito. They pre make them and you get them cold. Do yourself a favor and just get a regular breakfast plate.

Pastrami super fire, they were busy after behind the counter but had me in n out in no time flat, I don't think I ever hit the brake pedal whoosh bomb bomb bomb can't wait to sample the rest thanks to all your hard workers there first class top notch thank you!

If it's a good day or bad day, if you find yourself at Harry's Café, it's all gonna get better real soon. You have a choice, to eat inside, outside, or drive through. It's located on Katella at Dale. Sitting outside is kinda rough with all the traffic going by, but brave souls persist. The food is old fashioned good. Meaning they cook like mom if she was a good cook. Proof is the crispy hamburger buns from being browned for your delight. Or staff asking if you need extra sauces. We would come as a family back in the day. Patrick always ordered a vanilla milkshake which he said were superb and a turkey club. I like the Orange Bang (which is increasingly hard to find) and a fish sandwich, gyro, or burger. The fries are okay, not spectacular like the onion rings and fried zucchini, which are exceptional. When he was a kid, my son always ordered the pancakes which are the size of salad plates. He never ever finished the meal because there is so much food. We have never been disappointed at Harry's Cafe. The crew are always quick to smile, ask the right questions and provide the best service they can. There is a waitress most days to bring food to your table or assist as needed. Harry's Cafe is a Garden Grove classic. You will not be disappointed.

Always a go to. Delicious, hot, fresh food. Pretty much tried everything on the menu and it's all delicious. Friendly staff and clean restuarant.

Carne asada burrito had a bunch of inedible ligaments. They also over charge your card than what is on your receipt.

Usually for years, I'd stop into Harry's and get a Pastrami sandwich. What i love about Harry's is the pastrami was always lean, no fat pieces, and finely chopped. And best of all it was consistent. Every single time i been there, that sandwich was lean, finely chopped (no big pieces), I went there a half hour ago, ordered 2 pastrami sandwiches and was inside the store and could see them scoop out the meat for the 2 sandwiches and i could see a-lot of fat pieces. I specifically asked them to remove the fatty pieces and just figured they were going to chop it up really good like they used to but when i opened up the sandwich it was all fatty and not chopped up very well. I used to be able to open up a Harry's pastrami sandwich, and it would be very tender no fat at all, and just solid red finally chopped pastrami in the sandwich. I struggled to eat just half of one of the sandwiches having to pull large sections and strips of meat out to get rid of the fat. it was awful. I'm going to send the manager a letter and let him/or her know. I have talked up those pastrami sandwiches to many people telling them how consistent they are and how delicious those sandwiches are but now I can't honestly do that anymore. I'll give them one more chance, but if I get a sandwich like that again I will return it to them and tell them and I'll never go in there again.

Tried this place for the first time for breakfast. Not a bad place, its cheap and generous in portion. I got steak and eggs and honestly their steak was good by itself without adding anything on. Would definitely like to try other things on the menu next time!

I have been coming Here for 22 years for a reason... Ernesto is literally the best and has been working here as long as I have been coming here. You won't be disappointed at all and the portions are beyond amazing. The food is top quality.

I've eaten at Harry's a couple of hundred times in the past 12 years. They are nearby and have had good food at a fair price. Aug. 9th 2024 I ordered a chicken salad and a fried chicken dinner. We were having a small dinner party with a couple of friends. We picked up the order, the salad was OK but the chicken dinner was NOT edible. Yuck!! No pictures but trust me. I work long hours so today 8-29-24 was the first time I could go back for a refund. When I arrived with receipt in hand they said no-go they could not do it. That is not good service, with good food. I would not recommend going their for take out and if you do - check the food before you leave or it will end up in the trash. I would not even serve it to Sukie our furry roomate. Beware! Recommend you choose a different place.

I like this burger place it's by my house too , recently the service has been very bad. Today 4/21/23 at 3:20pm on drive Thur the man was rude . He thought I did not speak Spanish he got mad because I ask for yellow chiles and I was going to pay for ranch too and he gave me attitude and told he that damm what a bug this guy is in Spanish. He if you don't what to work go home !! Plus I am paying not asking for free stuff. I really home management see this so they can do something . Because I call to ask for the manager and they said he is not here. This killed my appetite!!! I am not going to This palace for now on I know I am 1 customer but if he continue to give service like that good luck you are going to loose all your customers. If management what's to talk to me feel free to contact me. So sad !!

Service was okay, and ambiance here seems a bit, messy in some way. But the food here basically was either done badly, or by some unfortunate circumstances as one of the burgers here lead my brother to get food poisoning. This place made me loose trust in it so... be aware of the food here when you order.

This place use to be good. I don't know if it was sold to someone else or if the current owners are buying low quality stuff. The food looks, smells, and tastes great but holy hell does it give you the runs. Maybe it's the quality or maybe the cooks that undercook it he food who knows. Sad to see one of my favorites go to shxt.

Best burgers you will find in a 30 mile radius. Their Greek salad will knock your socks off also, always made with high quality ingredients and taste heavenly! The staff are always very polite and go above and beyond. In the 7 years I've been getting take out from this establishment, they have never gotten a single order wrong. If you haven't eaten here yet, do yourself (and your tastebuds) a favor and hit this place up!

Harry's has new temporary hours Tuesday - Saturday 7AM - 5PM Sunday 7AM - 4PM * Closed Monday. My favorite appetizer is the Vietnamese Spring Rolls, absolutely delicious My favorite lunch is the Basil burger, it comes with sautéed basil onions & bell peppers. The price is about $11.00 bucks so definitely affordable.

It's been years since I came here and been craving a bacon avacado cheeseburger sooo bad. I knew Harry's would be the one to have the one my mouth was craving. This Harry's didn't disappoint. It was delicious the bacon was crispy the burger was cooked well the cheese was melted. It was everything my craving was expecting. Thank you service for the free grapes too. Definitely coming back. Ambiance was casual.

This used to be the go to back in our high school days. After being back in the area and making a stop in, it was nothing like it used to be. Breakfast burritos used to be amazing. The chicken tacos & chili cheese fries were a solid fav. It's just not that great anymore. Makes me wonder if it has gone through an ownership change? The portions are still plentiful and pricing is still great. The menu is def a hit or miss now a days.

This restaurant serves you very fast, which is awesome and does not compromise on quality! My favorite thing to get here is biscuits and gravy and a sausage and bacon and eggs Breakfast burrito. Also for lunch their ribeye with eggs is excellent. I have been coming here for years and I've always gotten great quality food here.

Sure the food is good in a pinch and the staff is nice, but I'm giving this spot a near perfect review just for dealing with jackasses that can't read menu prices like the ones in the attached pic. Bless y'all for putting up with dickheads.

I've been to this place multiple times before. At first they were pretty decent. But now their food is mediocre the service in the drive through can be ok or crappy, depending on who the server is. Tonight I went and for a quesadilla. The same old man waited on me the last time. I asked for extra hot sauce. And he acted like it was too much of a hassle for him or it's coming out of his paycheck. I always ask nicely but this is the second time he had an attitude and only gave me one. Another female woman acted the same way once. I'm willing to pay for the extra. All they had to do was tell me if it's 25 cents or 50 cents. I only come here as my last option now. I don't know how the other people gave them five stars. Maybe those people never experienced good service or real quality food.
