"Harry’s Bar, a downtown D.C. pub that has drawn attention in recent months for hosting the white supremacists, election deniers, and COVID-19 ignorers who support outgoing President Donald Trump, served as the backdrop this weekend for politically charged confrontations that resulted in four stabbings and 33 arrests for misdemeanor assaults, assaults on police officers, and rioting." - Gabe Hiatt

Had a good lunch at Harry's. I will be honest while visiting the D.C. area I wasn't impressed with the food we had. But, we had lunch at Harry's and it was very good! We just shared a salad, a club sandwich, and a basket of tator-tots. It was a huge club! It was so good! The service was good, the food was great and the price was right. I recommend a visit.

Only a 5 stars for what it's worth: a dive bar. If you want an eclectic alcoholic infused facility with gluttonous food options & a lively 80s infused music culture -- this is your spot. I tried the chili. It was large, filled with cheese, onions, & jalapenos. It was served with plentiful crackers & sour cream. The hearty meal didn't disappoint. Bartenders had character. Perfect option to sober up while drinking.

Really not your typical place or crowd. Definitely the type of corner jiloint you'd see in a movie. This is not stuffy Washington DC. Mixed crowd, some there to drink, some to eat, a few tourists, but most seemed like locals. The bartender was friendly, and she seemed to know everyone. It's a little on the messy side, but that's what makes it great. Food was great and reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed our burgers at Harry’s! Cooked very well and medium, as we asked. They are BIG, and juicy! I couldn’t finish mine, which made my husband happy! We also ordered a side of onion rings…tasty, crispy, & not greasy! The burgers also come with a yummy crunchy dill pickle spear and a small side of coleslaw, that I enjoyed. Hints of garlic, which I have to admit I’ve never had in coleslaw, but it was delicious. The outdoor dining was nice. The chairs weren’t that comfortable for this curvy girl and the table was wobbly, but what the heck. It was a fun, yummy outing. The atmosphere was fun! The staff was polite, fast and nice. Definitely not your typical hoity toity DC establishment. Which was refreshing! I don’t get some of the low ratings. We really enjoyed Harry’s!

Stopped in after a fun night tour and loved the atmosphere! A real local place with great people , amazing bartender and friendly regular patrons made the experience even more enjoyable. The menu has all you need and the food was delicious! We were able to catch the last part of the game on and truly had fun with everyone cheering the hometown team. I highly recommend...absolutely worth it .

Was here during Awesomecon weekend. The only thing that was good about this place was the customer service we received. The carpeting and seating arrangements was decent too. My wife had a cheeseburger and for her it was extremely bland, no flavor what so ever, no flavor in the bread either. The burger was burnt on the outside, somewhat undercooked inside. I had a bite and can confirm. It didn't even really taste like a burger to be honest. I had a tuna sandwich and for me it had no flavor in it whatsoever. Had me wondering if I was really eating tuna. My wife had tater tots which she said was okay. I had French fries and those were actually decent, right amount of flavor. The popcorn smells great when you hear it popping but sadly when you get it it taste extremely bland, very generic like all the other food we had. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to an ma&pa supermarket and bought very cheap rather than invest in great quality. Potato chips came with my sandwich and those tasted really bad and stale. We barely ate half the food and quickly made our exit. You want a good burger and fries? Then don't come here. $15 for a sandwich and fries and $15 for a sandwich with chips? All tasting so bad? $45 total? Hard pass! You've been warned!

We went on Saturday at lunch time. We had a 5 minute wait. Service was very good. Food was good, nothing mind blowing but can't go wrong it had something for everyone. We enjoyed the meal.

Great spot. Came here a few years back with a friend. We enjoyed the fried chicken and lobster roll. *Update* came back here 5 years later and still enjoyed the food. Prices are reasonable considering the area and it wasn’t packed on a busy Sat afternoon.
