It's been a while since I've been in Ocean Beach, but to my surprise today: Harry's Taco Club is here! I knew about it being in Pacific Beach thanks to the Instagram page "San Diego Humor..." & decided today's the day I'll try it out. They are also conjoined with Cass Street Bar.
I came here with my aunt and she ordered the battered shrimp (asked for non spicy) taco and I got the beer battered fish taco. Recently, I don't mind eating onions on my taco. But the onions this time were very pungent and they weren't yellow onions, but red! Quite different I think.
She said it was a solid taco. I also enjoyed my beer battered fish taco. I liked the cabbage, the pico de gallo, and the sauces they gave us. Although, I do wish they gave some more! It was no bigger than a 2 inch cup. They had the green sauce, chipotle, and a red salsa. I hope that they could put them into squeeze bottles (with caps) next time so we could enjoy it to the fullest! (Very yummy!)
The price for 1 beer battered fish taco was ~$5.75 so nearly $6! I dunno about you, but that feels steep!
We sat on the makeshift outdoor patio. The long table was on wheels so it moved every-so often, if there's a locking feature on the wheels -- I'd say please apply that!
If I'm comparing the places in Ocean Beach, I'd go to Nico's for the breakfast burrito. And then here-- for a taco or a Cali burrito (I have not yet tried it, but will next time). They also have Jarritos and house made agua frescas that I surely will taste next time I come.
