Tried the roasted chicken with Brussels sprouts and whipped sweet potato. Delicious!! Chicken was cooked perfectly. The restaurant is more quiet since it’s located inside the Hilton but food is solid.

This place is another one of the good places I've visited. The food is super delicious, well-cooked, amazing flavor, good portions, excellent service, and a spectacular atmosphere. The only bad thing is that I don't like the coffee. I have to say it's not one of the best I've tried, but everything else is a good place! I highly recommend it.

When we are here we are treated like family. We have come here several years now and are never disappointed! We hug the staff because they deserve it: Brad, Julian and Nebiyo; Angel, Haley, Bria, Andrew, Ben and Cherry. (We miss you Cassie!) They work hard, and they are so warm. The Thanksgiving buffet is splendiferous and kind to us vegetarians. ❤ They are also bear friendly! God bless them all.

Had a meal here by myself on a work trip. The staff was fantastic, and I cannot recommend the calamari enough, just so insanely good. The very friendly gentleman with the great hair is a perfect complement to the meal with a fun and friendly persona. If you're staying in town, and especially if you're in the hotel, you must come here to eat.

Always a wonderful place. Not the least expensive but far from the most expensive in the area. At the price point, the food is fantastic. At any price point other than my brother’s kitchen, the service is wonderful.

My husband and I took my mom to Härth recently and had a wonderful dinner. I’d been a bit skeptical since it’s a hotel restaurant, but it was fantastic and I highly recommend giving it a try. If anything, it’s a little more comfortable than many restaurants in Arlington and DC because there’s more elbow room. They also have a nice-looking patio with seating and fire pit that we’re looking forward to trying when the weather is a little less toasty. The food is basically sophisticated southern cuisine. Our amazing server, Michael, said they had recently changed the menu. Among the three of us we had the filet, the pork chop, and the “Bad Hunter” (cauliflower steak – the name alone made me want to get that one) for entrees. Sides were collard greens, brussels sprouts, and smoked gouda mac & cheese. The desserts were spectacular – beignets, pecan pie, and peach cobbler.

Google
Really yummy food. Loved everything we ate here! All the food is fresh and the staff can be a little weird but they weren't rude so that's okay. Their all you can eat breakfast is the best with lots of options to choose from, the soups are hearty too. We weren't too impressed with the mushroom flat bread, it felt too dry. Apart from that, everything was great!

Google
The service is excellent! Our waiter Juan was the best! Just reserve 1 hr before closing time (1:30pm) to allow yourself to enjoy the meal. The open table app reserves the seating for them and was not accurate with the actual available seating times. So just check out their website hours before making your reservation online. Other than that, it is a great place to have an elegant experience!

Yelp
Ambiance was great. Service and food vwry inconsistent. Our son's meal came out 20 mins after everyone else's and was overcooked.

Yelp
The restaurant proper was closed because of the Thanksgiving holiday but we were able to sit in the bar area and order from basically the same menu. Food was amazing - be sure to try the whipped feta appetizer. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Edited to add Breakfast review: We were able to eat breakfast inside the restaurant proper which was quite the visual feast - lots of natural light and light colored wood, contemporary gas fireplaces galore, and striking boho lighting that sprouted wooden palm fronds. Your choices for breakfast are the continental buffet, full buffet, or you can order off of the menu. My husband ordered the full buffet because he wanted eggs and because it included coffee and juice. I ordered the French Toast and a cup of coffee. The French Toast got an "A" for Appearance but was also delicious. Cost wise it was a splurge but worth it in my opinion. Service was fast and friendly. Recommend!

Yelp
Two weeks ago, I stayed at Tysons Corner Hilton for a week while attending a work conference. While the experience at the hotel overall was less than stellar, the Harth dining experience was quite the opposite. My team arrived at this establishment on Thursday at 6 PM with a party of 13. While my team didn't have a reservation, the establishment was able to accommodate us within 5 minutes of us arriving. After we were seated, we collectively ordered every 'small bite' possible. However, I tried two of those that were ordered, which included Hunters Board and the Calamari. Hunters Board: This board had cheddar, Asher Blue, Providence Goat, beef salami, lomo, Chesapeake salami, and olives. I was "wowed" by the Asher Blue. This cheese had a slightly pungent, mushroomy aroma and was earthy and mild. This cheese also had a creamy-crumbly texture as it has a semi-firm consistency, being soft, dense, and hard all at the same time. I actually ate a whole wedge off of one of the boards that was ordered. The lomo was also a standout for me as it was tender, juicy, and slightly salty. This paired well with the Asher Blue. For folks who haven't experienced lomo, it's like beef tenderloin, which is one of the most tender and leanest cuts of meat. Calamari: The slightly charred calamari was perfectly crisp and tender. The combination of cumin and peppers was 'punchy' but not overpowering. Main Dish: Aside from the bites, many main courses were ordered by the group. I ordered Casarecce Pasta with shrimp. I thoroughly enjoy a good casarecce as its shape makes them perfect for holding sauces. The sauce for this dish was perfect as the Mascarpone cheese was slightly sweet and a tad bit tart, which balanced out the garlic used for the dish. As a group, we ordered just north of 1k worth of food and drinks. The service we received was timely and pleasant. If I were in the area again, I would frequent this location again.

Yelp
Harth is the restaurant in the Hilton Hotel in McLean. We have been enjoying the Harth Lounge and this review is for the morning breakfast. They had a selection of breakfast meals to include a Continental Breakfast and a full Buffet breakfast. While the full buffet is a bit pricey ($30), frankly it's not atypical for hotel restaurant breakfasts these days. The full buffet does include coffee and orange juice. Service was good and the waitress was attentive. My food from the buffet was very tasty.

Yelp
I came here during a business trip with some colleagues. The scallops were gritty with sand and foul smelling. They were exchanged for the shrimp pasta, which was better. Shrimp was overcooked but the pasta was cooked perfectly (al dente). My food = 2.0 stars. My coworker's mushroom flatbread pizza was 5 stars -- very flavorful. Breakfast buffet this morning was much better than dinner, consisting of bakery quality baked goods and healthy choices, as well as traditional fare. 4 stars. Friendly, attentive service. 5 stars. Beautiful, high quality ambience. 5 stars. Overall: 4 stars

Yelp
Harth is located in an extremely beautiful hotel that elicits a new wave, futuristic vibe, and the restaurant, Harth, is situated just to the left of the hotel bar, far enough removed that you will not be bothered by any noise from the lobby/bar. My girlfriend and I were in a rush to make a night bus tour of the DC area so we split a charred broccoli salad. It was very unique as it had no lettuce! Just a bunch of healthy greens, some fruit and / or pecans, topped off by adding the protein of chicken. The chicken was warm and very delish. To our surprise it cost $10 to add the freaking chicken! All in the salad was close to $30!! When you are on vacation you are meant to spurge, and I enjoyed everything about this stop in before the DC night tour and if you are in the area definitely recommend stopping in to experience it for yourself. As always people SYOY!!!

Yelp
I'll start off by saying this place is getting 4 stars from me considering it's a hotel restaurant, otherwise it would get 3. The restaurant itself is nice, quiet, simple and modern. The staff are all super nice and really make you feel like they're taking care of you. We went and I guess there was some audition taking place at the hotel and the night felt like chaos. The service was extremely slow and even the manager had to come and apologize everything was taking so long. She offered us a free dessert, but we were there so long we just wanted to leave. Anyways on to the food, the broccoli was pretty good! Interesting take on broccoli! The flatbread was nice - not too hot or sweet. My husband enjoyed his steak and thought the chimichurri was a nice touch. I had the sea scallops that were pretty good, but was not a fan of the purée and fixings. For a hotel restaurant, the food was better than expected. Also more expensive than expected.. basically spent what I would've going somewhere in DC! Check them out if you're staying at the Hilton, otherwise there's better spots in McLean!

Yelp
I went to this place twice. Once for dinner, due to me staying at the hotel, and just needing something and once for breakfast, because it's at the hotel. Let's discuss breakfast first. In hindsight, I should have gone Avocado Toast because it probably had seasoning. Instead, I chose the omlette with egg whites, spinach, and mushrooms. I also went with the wood fired hash browns (it's an included option) and added a bagel toasted with butter as an add-on. The omlette came with tomatoes, which wasn't on my selection and no mushrooms. It's a regular size omlette but I always eat only 50%. It had zero seasoning. Zero flavor. The hash browns were greasy and just not good. Four bites and move on. They have only plan bagels. PLAIN. How is this possible, when I've been to a Hilton in Turkey that had an everything bagel and other options. The best component of said breakfast - the bagel. Dinner. As a flexitarian limited choice awaited, since a mussel or clams, which uh there is this thing called the bay near you that has them wasn't on the menu. Shrimp was a no-go, either. I went with the Honey chicken breast with root veggies. I selected this because it was my only choice being a flexitarian, and I didn't want the 100% veggie thing that would have worked. Just needed some protein. Plus, it lists it as wood grilled or on their flame thing If I hadn't read on another Yelp review that the honey comes from their own Honey Bees thing on the roof, I'd have no idea. The chicken had that nice honey flavor and was very juicy. But had I not read, it was wood grilled, I'd have no idea. I should have tasted every so slightly that smoked flavor, IMO. Anyway, it was good. Large portion. I ate just 50%. The root veggies were heavy on brussel sprouts, which were Charred and not in a bad way. What's with the love of these nasty buggars? Just say the dish is Brussel sprouts and call it even. I couldn't figure out if the light sauce that was on the other veggies, green beans, and whatver else veggie was there, was the walnut dressing they added to the arugula that had the chicken on, because my server had no clue. I asked if the veggies were sprinkled with some light Parma cheese or something like that because it was hard to gauge. He didn't know. I got sick afterward, back in the room, and my gut (no pun here) tells me it was whatever was on the veggies, it might just be that walnut thing, and an allergy hit, but it was something in that liquid. At least I scored a weight loss for the meal. In that case, thanks???

Yelp
Only dined here for breakfast and they have a good selection to choose from. I'm a sucker for buffets, and this one didn't disappoint, albeit wished they offered one other dish to warrant the $28 full breakfast buffet: smoked salmon. Almost all of the the same level of hotels do offer this in their breakfast buffets. Their continental buffet is above average if u want to eat pastries and cold items like yogurts, parfaits, cereal, and pastries table. As others mentioned, this restaurant is very nice key decorated with fire abound and lots of bright natural light coming in. Our server was very attentive, got our drink orders and also mentioned we can get cook to order eggs and omelette. Score! Over medium eggs and omelette were great. Same with the abundance of bacon and pastries. We were very pleased and will come back next time!

Yelp
I liked the convenience of the restaurant being in the hotel since I was only there overnight. I dined here alone because I was traveling for work. The space itself is very beautiful really enjoyed the atmosphere there. It was a quiet early evening. I ordered a smoked old fashioned and it was okay. I've had a lot of old fashioned drinks and this one hit the mark on its booziness but not necessarily on balance. I think maybe it needed to be stirred or perhaps there was a little too much of one thing or just what my pallet wanted? Again, not bad but not amazing either. I only had one. I had the burger with no bun and ordered it medium. It was a little too pink but I like things rare so it wasn't a dealbreaker and it tasted great. The side of vegetables were REALLY good. Their cappuccino was a great nightcap although I asked for a decaf but was up all night so not sure if it actually was decaf :P The best part of my experience here was the staff, as they were extremely friendly. I loved that I never ran out of water which is something I have come to appreciate.

Yelp
Let's talk Härth at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. I saw their ad in this group for a three course meal for $49 per person. We went to the restaurant and were welcomed by Rachel, the food and beverage director. We were the first customers tonight and it turns out they have only recently opened for dinner with a new French chef, Laurent Hollaender. We ended up not ordering from the prix fixe menu, even though it's a great deal with the filet mignon itself being $49. It will be there through July. We shared the excellent calamari and I saw tarte flambee Alsacienne on the menu but the waiter didn't know much about it. I wanted to know if it was anything like the Flammkuche or Tarte Flambee we know from southwestern Germany and the Elzas. Chef Laurent himself came to our table and he actually grew up in the Elzas (it's where my husband's family comes from). He personally vowed the tarte flambee is authentic and it is! I can't tell you how excited we are! We have not *ever* found a true Flammkuche in the US! The charcuterie plate is all locally sourced cheese and meats and Laurent is clearly excited about everything here. To end our meal Laurent and Rachel sent a plate of scallops and they're amazing! The carrot puree and capers, pine nuts and other ingredients we didn't recognize are the perfect companions. Other things that we learned is that their honey is very local. They get it from the bee hives on the roof of the hotel. Besides that they have their own hydroponic herbs. We love the sustainable cooking, Chef Laurent, and all we ate. Go check out Härth!

Yelp
The best mushroom pizza I've ever had. Quality food. The service was great. The restaurant has great ambiance. It's neat and modern.

Yelp
The service here was amazing. We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed their breakfast menu and the buffet. Coffe, juice, and water were always being refilled. The buffet has gluten free muffins and vegan entrees. Their honey is sourced from their own rooftop hive. Fresh honey YUM! The decor was chic, yet zen like. Prices were reasonable, considering the quality food and superior service.

Yelp
I have been here many times over the last 2 years and they are a solid 3. 1. Location - good Well they are located inside the Hilton hotel, so they have a lot of the guests dining there, so they don't try too hard to get business. However, if you know better, there are way better restaurants to eat than here in the neighborhood. 2. Service - bad They are super slow to seat you. Why? because no one is ever at the stand to get your info and seat you and you cant just go in and seat yourself because the servers will keep telling to go back and wait to be seated. That will take forever and anyone who values their time will get annoyed right away. Once seated, servers aren't that nice and rushed despite NEVER ever being full. I expect to get more attention when you have only 2-3 tables to serve. I would understand if the place was ever packed, but Harth is not popular enough to be in that state. 3. Service is indifferent at best at the bar too. So where you sit really doesn't matter. 4. Food - not that good, beautiful display I think I had the entire menu at this time and they taste okay, nothing special especially for the price. 5. Ambience - romantic, intimate, business appropriate You can definitely have a romantic date to business meetings here. However, like I said, the food isn't that good!

Yelp
Wonderful dining experience! Khalila was great at helping us navigate the menu, especially my husband who was a bit intimidated and looking for something simple. I was immediately drawn to the charred broccoli Caesar, which was incredible. I also got their mushroom flatbread and was in heaven bouncing between the two dishes! My husband enjoyed his ribeye and said the fries were perfectly crisp & fluffy. We initially declined a dessert menu and I'm so glad we changed our minds! The honey cheesecake was sweet and complex without being too heavy - perfect for sharing. The wait staff was attentive but we never felt rushed. Highly recommend for hotel guests!

Yelp
Harth restaurant is one of the stylish restaurants, just like most places I used to visit in South Beach. I don't usually eat at gorgeous restaurants but I stare at them, that's my meal right there. However we ordered four appetizers that could probably feed four people. The table bread came with a nice homemade jam. That was pretty good. Then we had mixed garden salad, octopus salad, calamari and Peruvian chicken flatbread. Of all the four apps, I liked octopus salad and flatbread the best! Octopus in the salad was tender and pretty delicious. The flatbread had the best cheese on top of it. The mixed green salad was ok and the calamari we could do without. The hostess and waiter were professional. The service was great! Thanks!

Yelp
I enjoyed breakfast here while staying at the Hilton. You can seat yourself wherever you'd like and servers are prompt to come take your order. It seemed like they were walking around with pitchers of orange juice, but we opted for water and coffee. I ordered the egg white omelette which was decent and sampled the french toast as well (very good). The french toast is crispy on the edges, super soft and custardy on the inside, stuffed with berry compote and not too sweet. At the end of our meal, we were also offered coffee to-go which was a nice touch. The food here isn't bad, but is definitely overpriced. I would only come here out of convenience.

Yelp
You need to have Lidi to host your table and be your server She made the whole experience amazing for us. Yelp
My new favorite brunch spot! The full buffet is great, the waffles are my favorite, but I found that they sometimes do pancakes instead. I've decided to check before I order and will try some of the menu items on pancake days. I saw a few dishes going out while I waited for my omelet and they all looked amazing. The atmosphere in here is very nice and all the staff have been beyond great. I've been 2 weekends in a row now, and am thinking about going again this morning!

Yelp
We had a really good 3-course meal at Harth in McLean (inside Hilton Of McLean). Since they have a new French chef and a brief promotion going on. we checked it out and it did not disappoint.

Yelp
I've never had more overpriced mediocre pizza and wine in my life. I spent close to $50 on one glass of wine, a tip, and a very average flat bread. The $28 breakfast buffet was enough to really sour my experience. I'm just not sure how you can get away with charging that for breakfast... A few scrambled eggs, some bacon, fruit and yogurt. While the ambience Is nice, and the fireplaces are a great touch... It was the most overpriced restaurant I have visited in a long time.

Yelp
I missed out on a Yelp Elite Event here a while ago and have been meaning to check it out ever since. Then the other night, when my husband and I were heading to see Kurios in the area, it seemed like a perfect opportunity to do so. We made a reservation for 5pm and were some of the first folks in the dinning room for the night. Just FYI: I would suggest entering in through the lobby of the hotel vs the door on the side of the building so you don't have to wonder through the dinning area trying to find the host stand (which is before you enter the restaurant). We were seated promptly and our server was very nice and extremely helpful. I ordered their signature drink "the Hive" which consists of Jack Daniels, lemon, rooftop honey, and ginger ale. It was quite good! The husband stuck to beer and was pleased with their selection. We started with the bacon jam jalapeno poppers and the grilled octopus. The later I would order again in a heartbeat as it was absolutely delicious, the former, while it was good, I probably wouldn't order again. Then for our main courses, I selected the duck and was absolutely blown away with it. It was perfect and the accompanying baby bok choy and pickled vegetables were just flawless with the rich duck breast. My husband ordered the scallops, and while he liked them, he raved about their texture, he was completely underwhelmed with the accompanying vegetables (and super jealous of mine when I shared a little). Our server brought us a dessert on the her since she said our appetizers took too long to come out. She was super apologetic, we really weren't in a hurry, but definitely appreciated the gesture! Plus the dessert she brought out, this berry topped, cream filled tarte, with a dollop of vanilla ice cream was fan-freaking-tastic! It had some of the biggest, juiciest, blackberries I have ever seen and was just a perfect way to end a great meal IMO. Harth isn't cheap, but I think the food is worth the price tag, and the service was great!

L O.

Yelp
Since they reopened, it has been a big disappointment. The menu has awful selection. I got the broccoli salad and my guest got another entrée. We have both been here before and they changed the menu. I must say the quality of the food with the new menu is not good at all. I could barely eat the broccoli salad and my guest said his entrée was bad. The flatbread was pretty decent though. I hope they bring in a professional chef and revamp the menu or I fear they will close again. Service was decent so they get more than 1 star.

Yelp
4 1/2 Stars *************************************** I bookmarked Harth quite some time ago yet we kept putting off a visit. Since we were going to Tysons Corner today and wanted to try someplace new, I went and made a reservation for 5 p.m. (on a Saturday). It was very easy to use the link to Open Table that appears on Yelp's listing. We got here a few minutes early but were given dinner menus and seated right away. Our server came by with the drinks menu and gave us some time to decide. I chose a pomegranate mojito while my husband got a glass of Malbec. We were given a bread basket with 4 slices of bread in it, along with a small cup of butter with poppy seeds on top and another cup with their bacon jam. That bacon jam was superb! The sweetness of the honey and the saltiness of the bacon melded together very well, with the bacon flavoring coming through. We look forward to having this again! The pomegranate mojito was tasty although I felt it could have used a bit more pomegranate flavoring. While my husband liked his Malbec, he said that he has had better. He couldn't remember what type of Malbec that was on the menu... The menu here changes seasonally. Thus, the menu showing on their website isn't the one currently in use. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and patiently answered our questions. For starters, I chose the heirloom tomato salad with kale, pine nuts and creamy garlic dressing. My husband chose the iceberg lettuce wedge with blue cheese dressing, cherry tomatoes and bacon bits. The heirloom tomato salad was delicious---not to mention colorful. It consisted of red and yellow tomatoes that were ripe and tasty. The garlic flavoring in the dressing was noticeable yet it didn't overpower the flavor of the tomatoes and kale. My husband isn't a big fan of bleu cheese, yet he did enjoy his salad. He thought that the bleu cheese was more mildly flavored than usual, which was fine with him. For my main course, I ordered the pan seared salmon. I asked the server how the salmon was cooked. She said that I could get it cooked any way I wanted, so I ordered it rare. I was very impressed that it came out the way I wanted. Many times, restaurants will tell you that they will cook it rare for you but, instead it comes out almost well done. The salmon was placed on a bed of thin asparagus pieces and a creamy sauce. It was garnished with a paper thin slice of ciabatta that was toasted and buttered. I enjoyed this dish and liked that the salmon piece wasn't very big. My husband ordered the steak frites. It didn't occur to him to ask what type of steak was in the dish. Nor did he ask how big it was. When he got his food and our server came by to ask how things were, I asked about the steak. She said that it was a 12 oz. NY strip. It comes with a side of house made steak sauce. I tasted it and it was both sweet and spicy. My husband didn't care for it as he prefers A-1 sauce. When I asked, the server told us that the sauce had pineapple juice in it and a pepper that was midway between a jalapeno and a Habanero on the Scoville scale. And now I forget which pepper it was! Still, he did like the steak and it was cooked medium as he requested. We were surprised that we still had some room for dessert. Our server recommended sharing a dessert because as she put it, the desserts were "humongous". So, we shared a summer tart. This dessert consists of a rectangular puff pastry topped with blueberries, blackberries and strawberries plus a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. It was tasty. The berries were fresh, the ice cream was homemade and the puff pastry was light and airy. My husband also had an Irish coffee. Before the tip, dinner cost $131 + change. Not a cheap meal but well worth the money, we thought. Some reviews mention slow service and a slow kitchen. We were talking to our server and she said that we came at the right time. Apparently, during peak dinner hour (7:30 - 8:00), she said that the kitchen gets really busy and food comes out much more slowly. So, bear in mind if you go for a later dinner, food may be slow to arrive to your table. For the dress code, even though we did business casual, we noticed others more casually dressed. Plus, when the place is busy, it is loud.

Yelp
Located within the Tysons Corner Hilton, this restaurant does a great job at masking its hotel connection with a strong personality of its own. The thing that they impress upon you right from the start is that they are so cool that they have their own bee hive on the roof. Many of the dishes have some honey tie-in so that they can bring this up, and the bread comes with a bacon/honey spread which is weird at first but quickly grows on you. Decor moves away from the sterile hotel style with some nice touches like indoor glass encased fireplaces which help provide gentle warming and a nice glow in the evening. They also have enormous booths surrounding very grand tables which are great for large groups. Only problem is if the person inside has to get out and the booths seating surface is very grippy making sliding difficult. My new york strip steak was good. A little under seasoned for my taste and I would have liked a fattier cut, but this is a good steak and not small. They slightly overcooked my meat however. If I were to repeat, I would order it less cooked. The blue cheese potatoes were crazy cheesy and salty. It was good, but quite overwhelming. The contrast of the under flavored beef and the over flavored potatoes is quite startling. I think I would swap these out for regular veggies or fries. Braised Veal shank was quite excellent. Good tender meat was not quite falling off the bone, but they came close. Sauce could have been a little more flavorful, but meat quality and flavor itself was excellent. Pear and fig flatbread was another odd sweet and salty mix that grew on me. Great textured flatbread with a little chewiness, and once you figure out that you like it, you've already finished it. Bummer! It was my father's birthday and we preordered the devils food cupcake. The preorder seemed kind of pointless as all they did was plant a single candle in there, but we did get it for free. Great touch from the staff and very much appreciated by my father. Cake was very pillowy with a strong marshmallow flavored cream inside. Yum!

Yelp
This may be my new favorite upscale eatery. Like another poster, I was attracted to the variety of prices and favors in the admittedly small menu. Every-single-thing was amazing. Yeah, even the mac n cheese(needs salt by the way). The burgers were large and juicy. Tomato slices for the burger were like pieces of art. Presentation on everything was a cut above! What else stands out? Little Pyrex bowls for the mac n cheese. Cast iron serving plates. The water glasses. The decor. Oh, the decor. A little new age, a little Mad Men. Modern slabs of nature- stone and wood- blend surprisingly well with Austin Powers- style upholstered booths. Fifth star for the Architect. hen there was Maria, our waitress. Perfect. Attentive, gracious, smart, knowledgeable. What are the negatives? Well, it's in a Hilton. That's all I can think of.

Yelp
The food was certainly overpriced as it's in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was in fact pretty good. I like the chicken and sussage. The omelette was not very tasty though... The service for breakfast was very good. I came for dinner as well and it was not busy at all! Most people who went there for dinner were customers staying at the hotel. The service was not as good as in the morning. I needed to wait for a while to make my order or make some other requests. The server barely showed up to check my dish after making the order. I had the prefixed three course meal with sea scallops. The quality of the sea scallops was good, but a little overcook than how I prefer it. The dessert was good and satisfying!

Yelp
I'd been meaning to try this restaurant for a while, but it is inside a hotel which always makes me wary - overpriced and mediocre quality are the norm. The website claims that the chef is devoted to farm-to-table cooking and that they have an organic garden that provide herbs and produce and that they use local meats - I'm a sucker for all of that. So I finally just went over there for lunch to try it out. My first impression was that the space is GORGEOUS - modern, impeccably designed. The hotel is very modern and upscale on the inside, too - which you cannot tell from the outside. The restaurant is long and narrow, with huge windows that run down the entire length of one side and provide lots of light during the day. When you enter, you walk past the kitchen with wood burning stove (hence the name) on the right and a large, glass-encased wine room on the left. The dining room is decorated with pearlescent white leather, pale green, and purple alligator print - very modern and luxe. There are glass fireplaces set at intervals throughout, just in case you forgot the name of the restaurant. It's very trendy and modern and I totally love it. Now, the food - good quality with inconsistent pricing. The lobster roll is what brought me here over the summer. The quality of the lobster salad was good and the buttery brioche bread was tasty, but as usual the ratio of bread to lobster was too high. Red Hook Lobster Pound really has spoiled me for life. I wasn't a big fan of the house chips - nice crunch but no flavor. The pickles, however, were fantastic - and served in an adorable tiny jar with a tiny spear fork. The turkey sandwich is very much Thanksgiving-esque with caramelized onion, cranberry mayo, and their signature bacon jam. That isn't deli turkey, either - it is big slabs of roasted turkey breast. Huge, delicious, good value. The fall agnolotti was very good, too, wit brown butter, crispy sage, lemon ricotta, and walnuts. I didn't see any figs though, which are listed in the description. Here's where the prices here get a little wonky - that giant turkey sandwich was $13.50, and this tiny appetizer sized pasta (which is billed as an entree) is $16. I mean - what? My husband said he liked the turkey chili with white beans, cheddar, creme friache, and hot sauce. But I thought it was overpriced - $20 for a bowl of chili, just because it's listed as a main instead of a soup or appetizer. Here is an example of the uneven pricing that swings the other way, thank goodness. The giant butterscotch pudding dessert (served warm) with scotch soaked pound cake, salted caramel sauce, and fresh whipped cream is enough for 4 people, easy - and it's priced the same as the other desserts! It is ridiculously decadent and delicious and I love that they serve it in a pot with a little Le Creuset spatula. We also got to try a free dessert that the chef was working on - angel food cake with more of that salted caramel and whipped cream. When I saw it I thought - boring. But it was actually really good. The thing with simple dishes is that each component has to be top notch, and that was the case here. Now I get why the chef wanted people to try it for free - you might not order that if you saw it on the menu, but once you knew how good it was that would change. Here's an insider tip - if you check in using the Yelp app, you will get a coupon to take home a little jar of bacon jam! Do it - it's fantastic. tl/dr - My takeaway from Harth is that the main plates are overpriced, so stay away from those. Stick with the creative sandwiches, huge salads, and wood fired flatbreads. If you are with a group, definitely get that butterscotch pudding. And take advantage of the fact that Mon-Fri any glass of wine is $8.

Yelp
First off, we only thought of considering this place because we thought we had free breakfast for 2 with our hotel deal. Turns out there was some mix up with the hotel and outside booking service. However; the front desk decided to give us breakfast for free anyways which was really nice. Full breakfast meaning buffet was priced at $25 and continental breakfast (order I'm assuming) was priced at $16. Pros: - Really nice seating and environment. - Warm setting because of all the fire places. - Service was good and quick. - The croissants were delicious. - Free jar of bacon jam when you check in on Yelp. - Wide selection of juices. Cons: - The buffet selective wasn't much for the price. - The eggs were very watery. - The biscuits were so dry and the gravy was cold and bland. - The area for the buffet was small and can easily get crowded. Overall, the experience was okay. It's not an extravagant buffet and breakfast experience. If our meals weren't free, we wouldn't pay for this meal. The quality of food is not worth the price.

Yelp
I was on a business trip that brought me to the Hilton and I decided to have a light dinner at the Harth. I had the mussels which were in a tomato/vegetable based broth and it was really good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. If I am in the area again I look forward to trying some of the other items on their menu.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for brunch. Sometimes their service is a little off. But overall they are friendly and the food is consistent. The brunch buffet is nice with large groups. Ever since they redecorated it looks great inside.

Yelp
Harth is a beautiful restaurant that uses quality ingredients. It can be a great date spot, but with its slow service, I think there is a room for improvement. Pros: - Romantically beautiful decor - Quality ingredients - Super delicious smoky bacon jam...? Cons: - Slow service - Somewhat bland food that you can instantly upgrade by adding salt We visited Harth for a weekend dinner date, and I ordered the $39 prix fixe menu. From the 3 course, I picked 1) mushroom flat bread, 2) Pan roasted heirloom porkchop and 3) cheesecake for dessert. Jason C ordered Pappardelle Ragu pasta. - Mushroom flat bread: tastes almost like oven pizza with a ton of mushroom on it, but nothing really special. I would say &pizza is better than this. Liked it, but nothing spectacular - Pan roasted heirloom porkchop was great. Especially for the price, I think it's a great entree choice and I have nothing to complain. The meat was roasted perfectly - The cheese cake was my favorite. I loved the drizzled basil syrup on top of the cake. - Ragu pasta was really bland, but it just needed some more salt and more herbs! It had chunks of meat and we could really taste that the pasta was great quality, so I would love this dish if it was seasoned a little more. In sum, it's a good date spot and would recommend dating here if you were staying at the hotel.

Yelp
I love Harth. The decor factors into how I feel when I am in this space. It is yummy, cozy and wonderful. The restaurant is located inside the Hilton Hotel at Tyson's Corner. I have attended several events that featured food made by Harth. I had a gift card and was excited to use it. The restaurant is classy, over-the-top cool and beautiful. If you want a photo opp, ask someone to take your picture by the beautiful fireplace enclosed by glass or by the wall of stored wine bottles. The staffers are really nice. You don't have to wear a suit or have a reservation to feel welcome. We have worn formal wear and schleppy clothes and were treated exactly the same, no matter how we looked. If you are wondering why every one wears a bee pin, the restaurant has their own bee hives on the roof. The chefs harvest their own honey. Hubby and I were lucky enough to attend an event where the bees made an appearance. The hives were interesting and thankfully enclosed by glass. We sampled the honey. It was delicious. I enjoy the flatbread. There are several flavors. Hubby enjoyed the pork & pear. I had the cheese. The portion is decent and filling. The soups probably change throughout the year. The pumpkin soup was creamy and looked like it had just made an appearance for in a foodie magazine. I am not a fan of nuts so I would personally not have them added if I ordered it in the future. We were so full that we needed a nap more than dessert. I have tried the cupcakes which are sweet and delicious. I am really curious how strawberry soup tastes but I haven't tried it yet. The restaurant sells growlers from local pubs. We'll return at some point to pick one up for hubby (Shhh....don't tell him). When I checked in on Yelp, my offer was the signature bacon jam jar.

Yelp
I LOVE Harth!!!! Let me tell you, having lunch at a hotel restaurant is not something I review about. As a matter of fact, I would usually avoid having lunch meetings at all at a hotel restaurant. However, my business partner scheduled a lunch meeting with a prospect and we had an amazing meal. The atmosphere is elegant and the feel is great. I love the whole take on Fire hearths all over the restaurant. The lunch crowd can be loud but once they clear out, it is really laid back. The food is great. Everyone at the table raved about their dish. Whether it's a flatbread or a sandwich, it is elevated! I had a Duck and butternut squash flat bread and I have to tell you folks, it was amazing! I've never had flavors like that meld together on a flatbread. My recommendation is to get one of the flatbreads, however, others at the table had the Turkey Sandwich and were blown away at the flavor. At any rate, this is a great place to eat.

Yelp
Went here with a small group around 1pm on a Thursday. Overall I would go again if nearby to try out other menu items. If my portion was larger and the server was more n knowledgeable I may have given a 5. Food: I got the chefs special which was a seafood risotto with clams, mussels and calamari. It was good however they really skimped on the risotto and the portion was probably smaller than an appetizer. I was still hungry after. Presentation on all plates were very nice. My friends got burgers and they said it was good. It comes with cute diced pickles. Dessert: I got their hazelnut bomb thing which was AMAZING. Perfect crunch on the bottom. Service: I believe our server was new. She never brought the appetizer menu which is on the dessert menu so we didn't order appetizers because we didn't think they had them. I also had to ask what the chef special was. Otherwise they were attentive and friendly. Ambiance: IMMACULATE. Talk about spotlessly clean and fancy. One of the cleanest I've seen. Noise level is good, not too loud at all. Cute and modern decor. Parking: some parking out front, plenty in the back. It's inside Hilton hotel. No valet when we went. Other: price was average..in between casual and fine dining.

Yelp
Fine place to dine, but expect to pay big bucks. Had their scallop dish and it costs approximately $8.00 each; $32.00 for a dish of four (see uploaded photos). Very goods service with nice atmosphere to entertain friends. The best part is that it has free self-parking.

Yelp
Breakfast is overpriced and McDonalds tasted better. Here is my 16 dollars eggs Benedict with the over cooked egg and the Canadian bacon that is saltier than the Pacific Ocean. The muffin is not even toasted and is mushy. Seriously I waited 20 minutes for this. I have had better eggs Benedict at a roadside diner in 5 min. I do not leave many one star reviews but this place is not up to Hilton standards and charges too much for so little with quality well below a typical hotel restaurant.

Yelp
I rarely ever review restaurant openings, but Harth's grand opening event was one of the most phenomenal grand opening events I have ever attended. From the moment I valeted my car, I was privy to treatment that made every guest feel extremely treasured. With the slightest bit of a drizzle descending from the sky, the staff was kind enough to escort me from mycar with an umbrella over my head directly to the red carpet, adorned with photographers. Oh wait, I forgot to mention I passed an Ice Queen during this time. I was so concerned with the person carrying the umbrella over my head that I almost ignored the woman draped in white on stilts, welcoming guests in. To the left of her, fire throwers. Tossers. Jugglers. Whatever you want to call them. The theme was Fire and Ice, so these thematic elements were an enchanting welcome to the event. Once inside, guests enjoyed an ice bar serving champagne with Gran Marnier pearls, specialty cocktails and martinis, the most amazing lobster rolls I've tasted in quite some time, lavish charcuterie, flat breads and a plethora of other samples of food from the restaurant. Each item that I tasted was delightful. Magical. Delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Very modern and yet elegant with exposed woods, stones and gleams of gold accents with extravagant chandeliers. This restaurant is distinctively upscale and sophisticated, but managed to never strike me as stuffy. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, ready to accommodate any needs you may have. They even put the finishing touch on the experience but leaving a small, golden box of truffle in my car as a farewell gift, which was such a lovely surprise. Although I don't spend a terrible amount of time in Tyson's Corner, I cannot wait to return here for a proper meal. I'm extremely confident that they will deliver on all accounts.

Yelp
Way too expensive and the food quality was not that good. 6.00 dollars for a small orange juice and 23 dollars for a small breakfast bowl. Wow way too expensive.

Yelp
Based on the food alone, the restaurant would have garnered 3 stars, but their deceptive seating practices resulted in the deduction of stars. We came from a meeting at around 11:45 am and asked for a table for two and the maitre'd noted that she had no more tables left until 1 pm. So we had to sit at the bar. Folks from our meeting with no reservations were seated at tables of 8 and 4. And tables upon tables (of 4) were seated and folks with two or less had to sit at the bar. They artificially tried to make their restaurant seem busy and opted for more high value tables. I have a strong distaste for this practice. The food was very well prepared for hotel food, but lacked flavor and forethought. For instance, the potato chips and French fries were fresh and fried impeccably well. But we're not well seasoned. I got the wagyu beef panini and the beef was tender. The panini bread was also well prepared. The bread was crunchy but soft in order to bite straight through. The dried tomatoes also were strangely soggy. The sandisch had a strange mustard sauce that was overpowering. Also the delicious pickles were chopped so any attempt to put them on the sandwich resulted them falling out all over. The chef who prepared the food was cooked with stellar technique but lost out on flavor. Also, although bacon jam sounds like the "in vogue" thing, it's quite gross and feels like soggy sugary beef jerky in a jar. Perhaps that's why their free samples have never caught on. The restaurant was very well appointed and comfortable. But unfortunately lying to me left a bad taste in my mouth. Would probably not be back.

Yelp
Tucked in a corner of the Hilton lobby, Harth awaits your arrival. Moody, glass-enclosed fireplaces light up the dining area. If you're a fan of the textbook-sized Cheesecake Factory menu, you'll be sorely disappointed here. Soups ($8-9), greens ($10-14), small plates ($10-14), flat breads ($11-15), entrees ($23-38), and sides ($6-7) are neatly organized into columns, with each section encompassing a short list of about 3 options each. It's like a neatly organized resume...When menus are this brief, I feel as though I've entered a heavily curated restaurant museum - definitely appreciated, since it's hard to make *~critical food decisions~*! Our table did a great job covering pretty much the entire menu, as we ordered 2-3 things off of each section. + Most Value: Half Chicken - this was massive, and seemed to provide the most amount of food out of any other entree that we ordered. + Most Expensive: NY Strip. A solid hunk of meat topped with butter cozied up next to some potatoes and barbecue steak sauce. It came out medium-rare as requested. I don't believe the steak was wet/dry aged at all, but the meat was still moist and tender. There were bits of unchewables scattered around the fatty perimeter, but not unexpected with a NY strip. + Most Interesting: Bacon jam. It was a new experience. An intense smoke-essence will cover your tastebuds and you'll either love it or hate it. The table butter is soft and ready for use as a backup though! + Recommended: If it's in season, there's an "Apple Snap" mocktail that was deliciously refreshing. The dessert menu ($9-12) was lengthy and extensive - you are pretty much guaranteed to find something that will suit your fancy and sweeten up your night if your dining companions have not done so already. One side of our table split the Butterscotch Pudding, which seemed to be a meal all on its own! The pudding came with it's own set of theatrics and instructions from the server, at which point I had already fallen too deep into my foodcoma-induced daze to pay attention to. Misc Items: + They're able to accommodate for large parties of 10 comfortably, but I can't see them being able to entertain any larger parties unless you were to reserve an entire section of the restaurant and your party is split into two separate tables. + Restrooms are in the Hilton lobby, past the business center. A tiny walk, so don't wait until the last minute to go! + Large parties are hit with a 19% auto-gratuity. + They don't "split checks" but they do take up to 4 different credit cards. This was reiterated to our party about 3 times throughout the course of our dinner. IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW WHEN YOU'RE CHEWING ON YOUR STEAK AND MUNCHING ON YOUR KALE.

Yelp
Ooh la la! I'd like to think that I've grown a lot from the On the Border lunches I used to indulge in when I worked my first job at Tysons Corner so when a group of old co-workers and I planned a catch up date, I suggested Harth as our meeting point. The ambiance was truly ladies who lunch material. There was beautiful snowy white furniture, cozy corner nooks, and gilded chandeliers. As I said, total upgrade for our lunches from the Harris Teeter sandwich line. Service was flawless. The manager of the restaurant and our server were constantly checking in on our table to make sure that everything was ok. I (and the majority of my table) ordered the very un-lady like Bacon Jam Burger for our entree. All I can say is, Eat your heart out Baconater! This dish consisted of two grilled patties stuffed with bacon jam and was topped with sharp cheddar, tobacco onions, and yep, even more bacon (applewood smoked to be exact). It was served with a side of housemade potato chips and tiny little pickles in a cute little jar. Total A+ on the presentation front! Unfortunately my meal was not so great on the tastebud front. Even though I ordered my burger medium rare, my patty was cooked all the way through. I was expecting a big thick juicy patty, but instead I got two skinny well cooked patties glued together with the bacon jam. The potato chips were cold and hard, not the melt-in-your-mouth variety I've gotten accustomed too (at Freddy's Beach Bar no less!). This was a little bit disappointing since when one is ordering a bacon burger and homemade potato chips, you are most likely expecting/wanting to lose control and pig out uncontrollably. No worries though, I kept my lady like dignity and upon leaving I was gifted with a jar of homemade bacon jam to eat to my heart's content in the comfort of my own home (free with check in on Yelp). Extra star for this alone!

Yelp
Can you believe a restaurant in a hotel could actually be one you would choose to go to every time you go there? Well, the Harth is an incredible place to eat and when I stay at this hotel, I typically just end up eating here. Not only because of its convenience, but because of the high quality of food they serve (yes, I can tell!). You can also order food from the menu from the bar here. I have ordered the hamburger (from the bar menu) here and have really enjoyed it. I was able to replace the fries with their brussel sprouts and found that they really make them yummy here. I have also ordered the trout with veggies of of this menu and ate it in the bar area (right outside the restaurant), which was also very good. My co-worker Christine and I also enjoy this place because of the many enclosed fire "pits"...so relaxing and so warm. Great ambiance and soothing energy. What a great place at an already exceptional hotel!

Yelp
The decor for this place deserves at least a 4-star but overall I would give it a 3-star because the food didn't wow me. They brought out the bacon jam with bread as an appetizer and that was splendid, so unique and flavorful! I ordered the pork chop for the entree and the meat was dry. They also paired it with potatoes and mushrooms but the flavors were lacking. I probably will give their brunch menu a try just because the place is so cute.

Yelp
I have rarely been as disappointed. To start with, we arrived early. The host sat us at a two person table in a row with several other two toppers. I just don't like this seating arrangement and asked for one of the four toppers which provide more privacy. No, we have to save them for groups of four. Of course ten minutes later a they slide the tables next to us together and seat a family with four kids next to us. Well behaved as kids go but still... So much for the nice evening. Of course by the time we left most of the four toppers were still open. I had the short ribs and my wife the pork. I could have made better at home and certainly could have found better at any of DC's restaurants.

Yelp
Härth is located inside the Hilton Hotel in Tysons Corner and is a fairly new restaurant in town, not even 1 year old. A group of friends and I went for lunch on a Saturday. Because the restaurant is farm-to-table, their menu changes about every 2 to 3 months in order to provide the freshest, locally grown, foods. They even make their own honey by way of the bee hive that is located on the roof of the hotel. How cool! The restaurant is beautiful; very warm, cozy and chic. We had a reservation and although we did not arrive as a group, the hostess was kind enough to seat us individually as we arrived. The wait staff was very accommodating and friendly. Simply put, the food was delicious right from the very beginning. I knew I was in for a treat when we were served our bread with fresh butter and SMOKED APPLEWOOD BACON JAM! Yes, that jam needed to be typed in all caps. It was that awesome and if you check-in for the first time on the Yelp app (not the mobile site), you'll receive a tiny jar to take home with you for free. For an appetizer I had the butternut squash soup with cinnamon creme fraiche and roasted pumpkin seeds (delish!) and the table shared 2 flatbreads - prosciutto and roasted mushroom - again, delish! I finished my meal off with the New England lobster roll with homemade pickles and chips. The bread was perfectly toasted and buttered and the lobster had just the right amount of everything. The chips were...chips (but good) and the pickles were good as well. I ordered a side of cheddar grits, just because I'm greedy, and they were very creamy and had the perfect amount of cheddar. I was very pleased with my choices. The bacon jam glazed salmon got rave reviews from the table as well. The only reason that my review didn't get all 5 stars is because I was not sold on my dessert. Our server said that their chocolate cupcake filled with marshmallow creme was their signature dessert and had been pictured on the front page of a publication - can't remember which one - and was well liked. It was just, meh for me. Honestly, it tasted like a high(ish) end Hostess Suzy Q with chocolate sauce on top. The cake was also a little on the dry side. All in all, I would definitely go back again.
