"This modern restaurant is housed in a pretty villa dating back to 1816. The Hartmaier family and their team have been serving up good food here for many years. The menu is wide-ranging, characterised by seasonal, regional and international influences – fromZwiebelrostbraten(steak with onion rings), beans with bacon and roast potatoes to wild-caught Icelandic redfish fillet with pak choi and spinach and ricotta ravioli. At lunchtime, people flock here for the bargain set menu with a choice of starters and mains. The place is nice. The food was up to par. But the service isn't up to the restaurant's standard. There isn't a uniform dress code for everyone. We came 10 minutes before our appointment time and they told us to wait outside. Parking is a bit difficult. There's a waiter with a beard who wasn't up to the service standard. He was disgusting and didn't treat customers like a waiter. The food was delicious. But the price is too high for the service provided.Thanks

I was here recently for a friends wedding and had wonderful experience! We had appetizers and Prosecco in the garden area then went upstairs for the rest of the evening. All of the food served was excellent! It was definitely a 5 star experience from the quality of the food to the great staff! The staff were all very attentive! They always made sure our drink glasses were always filled. I would definitely come back for a restaurant visit!

We are staying at the hotel next door and by chance wanted to see if a table was available. They were fully booked. That’s fine. But the attitude and rudeness from the female front of house was disgusting. Like something she had stepped in. Following her rudeness didn’t think to inform us there was in fact another restaurant out back with ample seating available. Another male waiter who watched the ordeal followed us out to tell us. She single handedly let the place down. Absolute disgrace.
