We ordered the white fish ceviche, an ahi appetizer with egg (can’t remember name but this was our favorite!), sea urchin and the recommended combination that was 19 pieces of sashimi and nigiri. The scallops with clarified butter and sea salt were like clouds melting in our mouth 🤩
Food was very fresh and presentation was very well done, however, flavor and “wow” factor was not there. Be sure to make a reservation because it fills up fast- we had one and still waited over an hour on a weeknight.
This could very well be because we had very high expectations eating at a Michelin star. Honestly, we’ve had far better sashimi, sushi, and ceviche at home and numerous other restaurants in Rio.
Still a very unique experience to eat at a Michelin star- the atmosphere is very classy and service is wonderful.
Overall a great experience; but not worth the high price in our opinion.
