"Named after the mango, Harummanis is a small but oh so welcoming Malay grill restaurant. It pays homage to the chef’s family’s hawker stall in Singapore, first established in 1992. The eatery’s ultra-sweet team complement the homey experience with their enthusiasm as they take you through the extensive menu. The food, mainly Malay, takes influences from numerous neighbouring countries and boasts perfectly spiced and balanced flavours, such as their delicious six-hour cooked rendang made with 20 spices. Be sure to come in a group as dishes are made for sharing." - Michelin Inspector

An unforgettable dining experience at Harummanis! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely amazing, each dish bursting with flavour and presented like a work of art. It’s impossible to choose a favourite, but if I had to recommend a few standouts: the chicken satay was tender and perfectly grilled, the chargrilled Ikan Pepes (seabass) was rich and aromatic, and the Beef Rendang, served with fragrant coconut rice, transported me straight back to my travel days in Asia. The perfume of the rice alone was enough to bring back beautiful memories 🥰 And then came the grand finale - the Harummanis Dessert! A true showstopper, both in presentation and taste. It was the perfect ending to an extraordinary meal. The restaurant’s decor is stunning, elegant yet warm, with a beautiful ambiance that makes you want to linger. The staff were absolutely fantastic: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and hospitality. Harummanis is a gem. If you’re looking for an elevated Malay-Singaporean fusion dining experience, this is the place. I can’t wait to come back!

Harummanis was my first fine dining-style-like experience and it truly exceeded all expectations. Not only do you get your money’s worth, but the experience feels like so much more. I brought my mom here to celebrate her birthday, with no expectations, just hoping for a lovely meal and maybe a small complimentary dessert like most restaurants offer. But Harummanis went far beyond that. We didn’t receive just one or two, but four generous surprises from the Harummanis team, thanks to the warm hospitality of Louie and Chef Michael, who made our evening unforgettable. The food alone was already impressive, but their kindness and attention made it all the more special. I've never encountered that level of service in any Dubai restaurant before. You even moved my mom to tears with your thoughtful gesture. Thank you. As for the food, each dish was a delightful surprise. From the subtle spice of the Lempeng Itik and Udang Goreng to the smoky-sweet taste of the Chicken and Wagyu Satay. And their signature Harummanis dessert? Absolutely divine. The hint of kaffir lime leaf elevated it to a whole new level of refreshing. It was, first and foremost, a beautiful experience, and then, amazing food followed. I’ll definitely be back with more friends and family.

What a pleasant experience! The calmness of the restaurant and the staff was unmatched. There is a certain feel that makes the place just an enjoyment. Food wise, it was excellent, a bit pricey, but still great. The flow of dishes was immaculate and their flavors were spot on. The recommendations made by our waiter were superb. Just come and follow their recommendations and you won’t be disappointed. I cannot overpraise the service, spot on. If anyone comes here, they will leave nourished, both from the hearty meal and the vibe

A hidden melayu culinary gem in Dubai! As a foodie always on the hunt for authentic flavors, Harummanis Dubai completely hit the spot. I tried their Ayam Rempah—beautifully marinated spiced fried chicken that was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The flavor profile was bold, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. The Ikan Pepes (grilled marinated fish in banana leaf) was another standout—moist, tender, and infused with a perfect blend of herbs and spices. You can really taste the love and tradition in every bite. The ambience was cozy and welcoming, with a warm, homely vibe that makes you want to linger. It’s a great space to relax and enjoy a hearty meal—whether you’re dining solo or with friends. If you’re craving a true taste of melayu in Dubai, this spot is an absolute must.

Absolutely loved my experience at Harummanis. I did the noon tasting and every single dish blew me away. The beef lung was wild — rich, tender, and packed with bold flavor. The chicken satay was fire: smoky, juicy, and perfectly spiced. The fish I had was out-of-this-world fresh — you could taste the care and soul in every bite. The service? Impeccable. I genuinely felt like a guest in someone’s home, not just a diner. Every dish came with a smile and a story, and the warmth was as real as the food. And the dessert? A perfect ending. Light, thoughtful, and just indulgent enough. True to its name, Harummanis (the mango!), the restaurant is bursting with flavour, love, and warmth. A real gem.

I’ve been to Harummanis twice now. The first time I went in a group so I was able to try more dishes. The first time I had the telur (egg), the wagyu satay, Ikan bakar, Rojak and rendang and Hanumanis for dessert. The egg was excellent, really great flavour and quit authentic to the one we get back home in Malaysia. The Wagyu satay was also excellent - it had great flavour and definitely felt like a more elevated traditional satay, without really compromising on flavour. The Rendang was also great in terms of flavour, although I’m used to a more tender and fattier meat for this dish. However, the Rojak buah was not exactly what I expected - I understand that this restaurant isn’t necessarily authentic, but the dish didn’t really do much for me. This felt like a fruit salad/pickle versus rojak buah. I wish they played around more with the crispy texture/ sweeter flavours. The Ikan bakar was also just okay that day - not authentic but I did enjoy the flavour. The second time I only ordered the Wagyu satay and the Ikan bakar. I have to say the Wagyu satay had to be one of the best beef satays I’ve ever had. The flavour was divine and the beef really was tender. It was a delight. However I was really disappointed with the Ikan bakar this time. The flavour of the sauce it self was okay but oh man the fish was so rubbery and difficult to cut through and it had a slightly fishy taste to it. Considering the price, it was quite a disappointment. Overall, I quite enjoy Harummanis - the flavour of the dishes are great and the ambience is bright and cozy. I just hope they maintain standards so that I can see this place thriving for years to come If I could add… I loved the Harummanis dessert but I really hope they would extend the selection to include Apam Balik, Cendol, Sago Gula Melaka and Pisang Goreng with Ice cream. Even if it’s not authentic but somehow captured the essence of those textures and flavours.. it would be so exciting!

Absolutely loving Harummanis at Wasl 51! Chef Akmal’s take on modern Malay cuisine is spot on. The beef rendang is super tender and full of flavor, and the satay is probably some of the best I’ve had in Dubai. The interiors are stylish but still feel warm and welcoming, and the staff are just amazing—so friendly and attentive. Definitely a new favorite spot for me!

First time trying singapore and malaysian food with michelin class, with such taste, with flavor texture and hospitality it is indeed worthy of michelin class. Today i try some dishes like urap, rujak buah, sate, lambchop, lempeng itik, ayam masakan putih and sarang semut. everything was amazing, only one thing personally i never eat lambchop welldone, i think it will be perfect if we can chose the doneness of lambchop that's it. the rest was amazing. And also i remind you one thing, if you come to Harum Manis, dont forget to try SARANG SEMUT, its outstanding Dessert, trust me you gonna love it. thankyou so much chef teguh and chef nada for amazing food and hospitality.👏👏
