"The menu at this industrial spot is an ever-changing list of inventive cocktails, but the main draw at Harvard & Stone is the entertainment. This Thai Town bar does live music the majority of the week, with a blues or rock band playing up front near the entrance. Although it's usually low-key, it’s always more fun than you’d think. People here aren’t afraid to get down on the makeshift dance floor and things can get downright wild if you stick around for one of their late-night DJ sets." - brant cox, sylvio martins
"Harvard & Stone comes from the same family as Davey Wayne’s, No Vacancy, and Breakroom 86. But if visions of secret entrances and flapper girls twirling from the ceiling are flowing through your head right now, take a pause. Harvard & Stone is surprisingly low-key, and easy to get into. That said, it’s also fun as hell. Expect live music most nights of the week, late-night DJs, and a makeshift dance floor that gets rowdy in a hurry. "Any place that lets you stand at the bar and smoke is a certifiable sh*tshow. But that only makes us love Harvard & Stone more. Things get wild at both the (technically outdoor) “R&D” bar and inside, where on weekends there’ll be super-talented burlesque dancers walking the catwalk above (and sometimes on top of) the bar. And when the dancers aren’t performing, there’s a DJ playing records while the crowd mixes it up and drinks good cocktails. And don’t worry - the entire actual inside is totally smoke-free." - brett keating
"Harvard & Stone is a dive bar in Thai Town that might have the best non-alcoholic cocktails in LA. They range from the Baby’s First Bourbon (basically a non-alcoholic Old Fashioned), to the Honeydew Collins, with lime juice, coconut milk, and Seedlip citrus. But that’s not even the main reason this is such a fun place to come when you’re not drinking. They’ve got a back bar where they let you smoke (it’s actually outside), live music every night, and an impressive burlesque show in the catwalk above the bar on weekends.
