Garage on Elliott Street/jfk corner! By Trinity management!
I am writing to share my experience with the garage located at Elliott Street, where I parked my vehicle for my business, 56 JFK Street Le Pétit Salon CURLCONCEPT, from 2019 until 2021. I felt compelled to reflect on my time at this garage due to a troubling incident that significantly impacted my perception of their services.
During my time as a client,
"I consistently pay a premium monthly fee to secure a safe parking space, recognizing it as the most expensive garage in Harvard Square."
I consistently utilized this garage because of its convenient location across from my salon. However, the experience took a turn for the worse when my brand-new car was broken into. The intruders, equipped with tools for the job, caused significant damage and stole personal items, including my laptop and sensitive banking information. This incident left me feeling vulnerable and violated.
Following this unfortunate event, I moved to a different garage, as I could no longer trust the security of this facility. It is now, more than five years later, that I feel it is essential to voice my frustrations regarding the lack of accountability and support from the garage management. Despite my efforts to communicate, the owner responded with a dismissive attitude, choosing to have their lawyer engage with me—in a way that felt threatening—rather than addressing the issue directly. This experience has highlighted a broader concern about the treatment of clients, particularly female entrepreneurs and individuals from marginalized backgrounds, when dealing with wealthier and more powerful entities.
While I acknowledge that some employees at the garage were friendly, many did not speak English, leading to significant communication barriers that further complicated my experience.
In summary, my time at this garage was marred by a serious security incident and subsequent poor treatment from management. I hope that by sharing my experiences, I can encourage the garage to reassess their security measures and improve their customer service. Every client deserves to feel safe and respected, regardless of their financial or social status.
I urge potential clients to consider these factors when choosing their parking options and hope for positive changes in the future.
